The paper shows how to improve the antenna performance by the analysis of bandwidth enhancement. The sizes and weight of various wireless electronic systems have rapidly reduced due to the development of modern integrated circuit technology. Microstrip patch antennas are increasing in popularity for use in wireless applications due to their low-profile structure, less weight, reasonable cost of production and can be easily integrated with microwave integrated circuits, but it also has some drawbacks. Inferior gain and inadequate bandwidth are the major drawbacks of a patch antenna. Almost all the important wireless applications lie in the band starting from 900 MHz to 5.8 GHz.
