Abstract

The main objective of the present dissertation work is to conduct pavement performance evaluation of roads which is constructed using Zydex Nanotechnology under the technology demonstration project of NGNRY under KRRDA, Government of Karnataka. The study area is selected are Kethohalli to T-02 (3.44km) Road of Tumkur Taluk, Tumkur District and Pandrahalli to Godabanahal Road of Chitradurga Taluk, Chitradurga District. The study includes Functional Evaluation (Roughness measurement using MERLIN and Pavement Condition Survey by Visual Rating method), Structural Evaluation (Deflection study using BBD and Axle load Studies) and Geotechnical Investigation (Grain Size Analysis, Atterberg Limits and CBR) of the mentioned road stretches.
