Enhancement of Rupture Strength using Carbon Fiber Polymer and E-Glass Fiber

Replacement is required everywhere I the universe. Carbon fibre wraps are made available by chain reaction of carbon and are combined with plastic resins. The cost of retrofitting by means of CFRP incurs lot of money. Hence this project work is carried out to evaluate the economical way for retrofitting purpose. The strength of unwrapped beams and carbon fibre wrapped beams were challenged with E-glass fibre wraps. The observations were fabulous and results obtain after comparison shown good characteristics of GFRP and it can be said that E-glass fibre can be used if there is no need of much higher strength.
