Abstract

Automation in medicinal drug is in the attention of research since many years as it helps to lessen work load and optimistically value. Continuous monitoring of vital health parameters has become essential with the increase in the number of people who require those. These include elders, post-surgery patients, heart patients, and even healthy people who have high health conscious. The primary function of the system is to monitor the temperature, pulse rate and ECG of the patient using biomedical sensors and microcontroller. The system can be used to assist medical personnel by infusing the right amount of medical fluid automatically depending on the patients various physiological parameters thus avoiding danger to the patient’s life. The systems also stores patient data in a secured database which enhances patient treatment and thus minimizes risk due to manual patient data entry. As the number of devices to be monitored increases, there should be enough storage space for the large amount of data to be stored which is going to be accumulated with time.
