Abstract

Gasification of biomass is an approach of converting solid biomass into gaseous fuel. This gaseous inflammable fuel is called producer gas (mixer of CO2, H2, CO, H2O, CH4 and N2). Among the different gasifier, downdraft gasifier is used for power production up to small scale application. Mathematical modeling insists detail knowledge of gasifier, its operating parameters, and feedstock. In this study comparative scrutiny is made for each model, different operating parameter and its output. The information is beneficial for experimentation work, research work.
