Effect of Solvent on the UV absorption spectra of Benzalaniline derived from Furfuryl amine

The effects of solvents have been studied through the absorption spectra of benzalaniline in the range of 200-400 nm. With the help of Kamlet equation the effect of solvent polarity and hydrogen bonding on the absorption spectra are interpreted and the results are discussed.
