Abstract

This carries work on the design and development of welding fixture with pneumatic clamping for improving production rate, Flexibility and accuracy in fixture. It is experimental work to resolves the problems with conventional welding methods. The aim of the project is to develop a "low-cost welding fixture with pneumatic clamping for improving production rate as well as the accuracy of production also the reduction of detecting in welding process". Simulation related to the pneumatic circuit was done by using FestoFluidsim V4.2. The scope of the project lies in increasing the production rate by providing an economical and efficient system and simple construction to improve production by reducing defects, increasing accuracy and reducing the time required per frame.
