Face Recognition Attendance System

Record participation is one of the most important activities carried out every day in colleges, universities, organizations, schools and companies. It is usually done manually, such as searching by name or roll number. The main goal of this project is to create a unified attendance system based on facial recognition that will complement the current manual process. The program meets today's attendance standards and time management goals. This device is installed in the classroom and used to share student information such as name, roll number, class, seconds and photo. Extract images using OpenCV. Before the main lesson begins, students can access the machine that will begin taking photos and comparing them to appropriate items. In this project, Logitech C270 network camera and OPENCV are used as motherboards. The images are as follows: First, faces are recognized using the Haar Cascade classifier, then the LBPH (Local Binary Pattern Histogram) algorithm is used for recognition, first the histogram data is compared with the dataset and the device automatically verifies participation. The problem arises when we consider how to participate in class. Calling student names or student numbers to check attendance is not only time-consuming but also energy-consuming. Therefore, automatic enrolment system can solve all the above problems.
