Abstract

This project presents study of closed loop lubrication system for thermal and flow feedback in CNC turning centers and it is important to switch from usual time domain basis to temperature domain basis in order to have higher machining precision, greater reduction in the oil consumption, flexible performance and also cost effectiveness. Lubrication system works by sensing temperature using thermocouples which are embedded in the LM guideways. Lubrication system triggers the oil only if it is more that critical temperature. The program is controlled by NI LabVIEW 2013 and display unit shows us real time temperature Vs Time. Results are obtained by using different MRI time and analyzing.
