Abstract |
A Problem of a square cavity (i.e. aspect ratio = 1) is taken into consideration. All faces of the square cavity have no slip boundary condition. The left and right side are kept at low temperature (ÆŸ = 0). The top side of the cavity is thermally insulated and the bottom side is kept at high temperature for one fifth of its length and the remaining length is insulated. The analysis is performed using ANSYS Fluent for Rayleigh number ranging from 103 to 105 and applying corresponding temperature at different locations. The contours are plotted for Temperature and Stream Function over the computational domain. |
