Abstract |
In todays world we are able to see the expansion of technology which can be useful for people in day-to-day life. This growth of technology has its advantages but these also come with its disadvantages. A number of the people take advantage of the disadvantages and hence give birth to the cybercrimes. As now-a-days all the data is stored and exchanged over through virtually there also are chances of this information are misused by someone. To stop this information theres always a requirement of reliable and accurate authentication which will decrease the mis-use of the data. The word Biometrics comes from the Greek words “bios†(life) and “metrikos†(measure). By using biometrics, it is possible to acknowledge someone supported who you are, instead of by what you possess (e.g., an ID card) or what you remember (e.g., a password). |
