Abstract |
Abstract—The malaria is a deadly kind of disease and its occurrence is also high in some of the countries like Africa (94%) and lowest in India and Uganda (4%). Almost 290 million people are infected with this disease every year and 4 lakh deaths every year had been reported globally. A pathogen is responsible for its spread namely P. falciparum, which is the deadly one out of all the 3 existing species. Person suffering from malaria can be treated with anti-malarial drugs such as chloroquine and Artemisinin based combination therapies. The option of vaccine is also available with the trade name Mosquirix; it is given by intra muscular mode of administration. |
