Finite Element Analysis and Weight Reduction of H Beam Connecting Rod through Composite Material ALSIC using ANSYS
-CHIRAG D ZALA ; V R PATEL
This technical review can clarify that why we will go for finite element method and composite material for optimizing H beam Connecting rod. From the literature survey it is found that most analysis is carried out on I section connecting rod. Researchers have developed a model by using cad software and then imported to the different analysis software. Most of the researchers have neglected the thermal analysis of connecting rod and considered connecting rod as a single piece. In actual condition big end of the connecting rod has two parts which are bolted together after assembled with crankshaft. In future it will be planned to carry the static analysis as well as thermal analysis of H beam connecting rod with considering bolted joint on big end side in latest ANSYS 14. We know that composite materials have properties of high strength to weight ratio as well as good chemical resistance properties so reducing weight and improving strength of Connecting rod by composite material. A Survey on Routing Algorithms for Wireless Sensor Networks
-Rahul K. Solanki ; Dr. K. H. Wandra
As Increase in WSN Application there also increased research in WSN. Routing is core Technology in WSN because it is concerned with other technologies like Security, Positioning, Network Discovery, Controlling, Communication, Tasking and Querying. WSN routing Algorithm is different than general routing algorithm. Because, Sensor node is come up with limited amount of battery power which is non-rechargeable or non-replaceable & The Life Cycle of WSN is dependent on the battery power of Sensor node. So, the design of routing algorithm is mainly focused on Energy Consumption of Sensor node. Energy-Efficient Routing is required for WSN. Many protocols like LEACH, PEGASIS, TEEN and ECHERP are used for WSN routing. Some of these algorithms are described & compared in this paper. Read More...

Bidirectional Power Flow Analysis of Bipolar HVDC system
-Pinkeshbhai Jayantibhai Patel ; Nirav M. Vaghela
The success of HVDC technology applied to the interconnection of ac systems has been confined by the rapid growth in its utilisation. There are many dc links around the world, with a transmission capacity of about 36000 MW. Although most of these involve transmission by overhead line and underground cable, a significant number are bipolar HVDC links. A high level of reliability, coupled with the advantages of very fast controllability, low transmission losses, suitability for cable transmission, and asynchronous connection, all combine to ensure the future of HVDC in modem power systems. The main objective is to determine bidirectional power flow analysis. Also determine the automatic control of rectifier gate signal and automatic control of inverter gate signal. Simulation has been carried out by MATLAB software. In this paper at both the end we can connect the load as a motor and thereafter we can determine the bidirectional power flow analysis. The gate pulse is applied manually. Then after we can check the result of the system. Read More...

Sequence Pattern Mining-An Incremental Approach
-Anjuman A Ranavadiya ; Jitendra S Dhobi
The basic idea of sequential pattern mining was first introduced by Agrawal and Srikant [1]. The sequence mining task is to discover a set of attributes, shared across time among a large number of objects in a given database. For example, consider the sales database of a bookstore, where the objects represent customers and the attributes represent authors or books. Let’s say that the database records the books bought by each customer over a period of time. The discovered patterns are the sequences of books most frequently bought by the customers. An example could be that, “70% of the people who buy Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice also buy Emma within a month.†Stores can use these patterns for promotions, shelf placement, etc. Sequential mining algorithms can mine a static database. But, nowadays, almost all databases are dynamic in nature and they grow incrementally. One way to handle this is to mine the whole database every time an update occurs. But it is highly inefficient and also undesirable. We must find a way to use the already mined information. An incremental mining algorithm does the same. It utilizes the mined information to get new set of frequent sequential patterns instead of mining the whole database from scratch. Note that the ultimate aim of using an incremental mining algorithm instead of non-incremental one is to gain efficiency with respect to time. Otherwise a non-incremental mining algorithm can also serve the purpose of mining very easily. So for incremental mining algorithm the time taken by the algorithm to mine complete set of frequent patterns must be considered[5] and there are various algorithm for sequence pattern non incremental and as well incremental Mining Read More...

Review paper for Detection of Liver cancer using Ultrasound Images
-Ramandeep Kaur Bhullar ; Navpreet Kaur
Due to the presence of speckles in ultrasound or CT images, the enhancement of these images is extremely difficult, especially in images of the liver and kidney whose underlying structures are too small to be resolved by large wavelength ultrasound. Speckles significantly increase the difficulty in discriminating fine details in images during diagnostic examinations. They also complicate further image processing, such as segmentation and edge detection. The problem is to remove the noise without losing valuable image features. For diagnostic US imaging, the detection of focal lesions of varying size and contrast from surrounding tissues is a feature of prime importance. We have proposed a technique to improve visibility of these images which is combination of wavelet filtering followed by morphological operations. It enhances the images and locates the infected portion in the image. Read More...

Hybrid Movie Recommendation System
-Dhrumil D. Shah ; Dr. Rajesh B. Ingle
Now days, users get so many recommendation websites for movies which suggest/recommends them best movies as per their interest. All these websites have implemented one of the traditional content, context and collaborative recommendations algorithms [3]. Alone, these algorithms are not able to recommend efficient and best recommendations to user. So, there is a need to evolve a new and unique algorithm which combines the features of traditional algorithm along with its new features. This paper describes the new recommendation system, which is a movie recommendation system, based on a unique Hybrid recommendation algorithm, which satisfies a user by providing best and efficient recommendations of movies. Comparative case study of traditional recommendation algorithms to Hybrid movie recommendation algorithm has also been studied and presented in this paper. This case study is based on evaluating criteria of recommendation algorithm i.e. precision, accuracy, recall, F-measure etc. Results of this case study are shown in the form of graphs and tables to clearly specify the need of proposed Hybrid movie recommendation system. Laser Torch Based Voice Transmitter and Receiver
-Govinda.K ; Waseem Arshad ; Santosh Ram; Shashank Agrawal
In this paper we designed the circuit, using that circuit we can communicate with our neighbors wirelessly. Instead of RF signals, light from an IR LED is used as the carrier in the circuit. The laser torch can transmit light up to a distance of about 500 meters. The phototransistor of the receiver must be accurately oriented towards the beam from the LED. If there is any obstruction in the path of the beam, no sound will be heard from the receiver. The transmitter circuit comprises of condenser microphone transistor amplifier BC548 followed by an op amp stage built around µA741. The gain of the op-amp can be controlled with the help of 1-mega-ohm potentiometer VR1.The AF output from IC1 is coupled to the base of transistor BD139 (T2), which, in turn, modulates the beam. The transmitter uses 9V power supply. The receiver circuit uses an NPN phototransistor as the light sensor is followed by a two-stage transistor preamplifier and LM386-based audio Power amplifier. The receiver does not need any complicated alignment. Just keep the phototransistor oriented towards the remote transmitters beam. The phototransistor is kept away from AC light sources such as bulbs. The reflected sunlight, however, does not cause any problem. But the sensor should not directly face the sun. Read More...

-MISS. NIRALI DOSHI ; Dr. CHIRAG K. VIBHAKAR
As technology grows day by day, the study of power system has shifted to power electronics to produce the most efficient energy conversion. Power electronic is the study of processing and controlling the flow of electric energy by supplying voltages and currents which is suited for user loads. Power electronics are used to obtain the benefit of lower cost and high energy efficiency. Twelve pulse topology commonly found in adjustable speed drives. It is expensive but produces least input current harmonics. Application like heating, ventilating, air conditioning due to its less input current harmonic. Rectifier is the power processor which gives dc output voltages with minimum amount of harmonics. When poly phase is rectified which produce smoother dc output than single phase dc rectifier. When three phase input Is available, rectifiers can come in a variety of pulses such as six pulse and twelve pulse. If the no of pulses increases the input characteristic improves. Read More...

HANDLING PARTIAL INFORMATION IN RELATIONAL DATABASE
-M.THANAVEL ; B.MANIVANNAN
Most real-world databases have at least some missing data. Today, users of such databases are “on their own†in terms of how they manage the incompleteness. The existing system deals with the general concept of partial information policy (PIP) operator to handle incompleteness in relational databases. PIP operators build upon preference frameworks for incomplete information, but accommodate different types of incomplete data (e.g., a value exists but is not known; a value does not exist; a value may or may not exist). Different users in the real world have different ways to handle incompleteness - PIP operators allow them to specify a policy that matches their attitude to risk and their knowledge of the application and how the data was collected. It results in longer time for updating and incompleteness cannot be eliminated completely. The proposed system with the help of Expectation Maximization Algorithm and Multiple Imputation Algorithms eliminates the incompleteness and predicts the missing values without the user interaction by relating the missing attributes with the supporting tables. The proposed method is evaluated with a large particular database and the result demonstrates that the proposed approach is better than the existing algorithms and root mean square error (RMSE) at different missing ratios. Meshing methodology for FEA analysis in ANSYS
-Mistry chirag prakashchandra ; S.B. Bhatt ; Viral N. Talati ; M. M. Kadri
The FEA is a numerical procedure for analysing structure of complicated shapes to apply complex loading condition and predict stress lavel.it works on the principle of divide the rule that is transformed a physical system having infinite unknowns into small finite elements having finite number of unknowns. It’s called meshing. Accuracy of the FEA result will depends on the quality of mesh. Selection of meshing method, element size and element shape are most crucial steps in the FEA analysis. More number of elements more accurate is the results; however this also increases the calculation required for the solution. An acceptance criterion of result is to check convergence error for each iteration. Order of element is also important is also important for the stress prediction in complex loading condition. This paper represents the successful attempt to give detailed guideline about the selection of meshing method, element size meshing quality, meshing refinement and effect of it on the accuracy of the FEA analysis result. -Ashish M. Ambaliya ; A.B.Patel; Prof. M.A.Shaikh
The research on alternative fuels has become essential due to depletion of petroleum products and the rate at which earth atmosphere get polluted. Diesel and petrol engines are found to emit more NOx and smoke emissions in addition to its rapid depletion. Hence, it is very important to find a best alternative fuel, which can fully or partially replace diesel/gasoline which emits fewer pollutants to the atmosphere from diesel/gasoline engines. The alternative fuels like CNG, LPG, Bio-gas, Bio-diesel and Hydrogen has been used widely in transportation sector. LPG is among the many alternatives proposed to replace diesel/gasoline in the short term due to its excellent characteristics as a fuel for spark ignition engines. It was also observed that LPG is directly retrofitted in existing SI engine. As far as properties of LPG are concern it may not give satisfactory performance at lower compression ratio and small spark advanced. So in present work, experimental investigation have been carried out on GL-400, single cylinder, 4-stroke, air cooled diesel converted in to LPG fuelled spark ignition engine to measure the performance and emissions parameters at various compression ratio like 9, 10, 11.3, 12.4, 13.1 and 13.8 and spark timing like 25°, 30° and 35° BTDC. After experimental research it was found that BSFC and BTE was improve and CO, CO2 and HC emission was drastically decrease as compression ratio vary from 9 to 13.1. Also along with advanced the spark timing from 25° to 35°BTDC. Read More...

Analysis of Active Vehicle Suspension System with Controllers using Simulation
-P. Chaitanya ; S. C. Sireesha
Traditionally automotive suspension designs have been a compromise between three conflicting criteria of road holding, load carrying and passenger comfort. The suspension system must support the vehicle, provide directional control during handling maneuvers and provide effective isolation of passenger payload from road disturbances. Good ride comfort requires a soft suspension whereas insensitivity to applied load requires stiff suspension. Good handling requires a suspension setting somewhere between the two. The objective of this paper is to develop an active control law for the suspension system , for this only a quarter model of the vehicle suspension system with two degree of freedom is conceived and then effect of various types of input (Step, impulse) on the passive quarter model is evaluated followed by application of various control algorithms like PID control, Active force control using Crude approximation and Iterative learning method, Fuzzy logic is applied on the quarter model and the results are tabulated. The effect of inputs on different control laws is found and the results are compared which gives the relative significance of various control algorithms. The software utilized is MATLAB version 2009. Forensic Analysis of Database System
-Ashwin makwana ; Dev Rathod
The current scenario of Digital world is different than as it was before 5 years. Cyber Crime activities are at its high and hence IT security field has really picked up. Almost every week, you will hear at-least one report of intrusion on database of any company. IT security experts and forensic Investigators have found it very complex when attack is on any SQL server database. When the security of an SQL server database is compromised, In few case forensic investigators are unable to qualify or assess the scope of the intrusion. In such cases, they have to publicly report the damage. This is difficult not only for customers but for companies as well, who have to risk their reputation and brand image. To avoid this type of accident, the best way is to master specialized skills required to deeply investigate intrusions on SQL Server. There are many existing technologies are there to analyze and investigate the compromised SQL Server Database. In this Dissertation, I will present very effective and novel approach of Digital Forensic Investigation, which will present that how to gather and preserve database artifacts security and without any disruption. Then I will be proposing model to perform in-depth analysis to verify and analyze any database intrusions very effectively. This model will expose the activities of the intruder in database server. This model will be used to determine unauthorized data access or modification as well as to collect information required for database recovery by restoring to an earlier state. Read More...

WARDROP ROUTING IN WIRELESS AD-HOC NETWORKS
-S.Selvam ; S.Selvam
Routing protocols for multihop wireless networks have traditionally used shortest path routing to obtain paths to destinations and do not consider traffic load or delay as an explicit factor in the choice of routes. We focus on static mesh networks and formally establish that if the number of sources is not too large, then it is possible to construct a perfect flow-avoiding routing, which can boost the throughput provided to each user over that of the shortest path routing by a factor of four when carrier sensing can be disabled or a factor of 3.2 otherwise. So motivated, we address the issue of designing a multipath, load adaptive routing protocol that is generally applicable even when there are more sources. We develop a protocol that adaptively equalizes the mean delay along all utilized routes from a source to destination and does not utilize any routes that have greater mean delay. This is the property satisfied by a system in War drop equilibrium. We also address the architectural challenges confronted in the software implementation of a multipath, delay-feedback-based, probabilistic routing algorithm. Our routing protocol is Completely distributed, Automatically load balances flows, Uses multiple paths whenever beneficial, Guarantees loop-free paths at every time instant even while the algorithm is suntil converging, Amenable to clean implementation. This protocol is able to automatically route flows to “avoid†each other, consistently out-performing shortest path protocols in a variety of scenarios. Read More...

EFFECT OF JATROPHA METHYL ESTER ON DIESEL ENGINE- A REVIEW
-Ravindra R. Dhanfule ; Prof. H. S. Farkade
The world is being modernized and industrialized day by day. As a result vehicles and engines are increasing. But energy sources used in these engines are limited and decreasing gradually. The rapidly depleting conventional petroleum resources have promoted research for alternative fuels for diesel engines. There is an urgent need for suitable alternative fuels for use in diesel engines. Vegetable oil is a promising alternative because it has several advantages; it is renewable, environmentally friendly. But major disadvantage of vegetable oil is its viscosity, which is higher than that of mineral diesel. Hence neat vegetable oil does not give better performance. In the present paper transesterified jatropha oil and its blend with diesel has been introduced as an alternative fuel to overcome the above problems. The literature results suggest that transesterified jatropha oil can be used as a substitute for diesel fuel without any significant modification in engine. Read More...

Random Rotation Based Data Perturbation Technique for Privacy Preserving Data Mining
-Gargi Shah ; Prof. Yask Patel
Privacy-preserving data mining is study of valid mining models and patterns which mask private information and thus preserves privacy of the data. Many privacy preserving data mining techniques have been studied. Moreover existing techniques for privacy-preserving data mining are designed for traditional static databases and are not suitable for data streams. Recently, data streams are emerging as a new type of data, which are different from traditional static data. The features of data streams are: Data has timing preference; data distribution changes constantly with time; the amount of data is enormous; data flows in and out with fast speed; and immediate response is required. If the data changes, it would be necessary to rescan the database, which leads to more computation time and inability to promptly respond to the user. Moreover, it is observed that accuracy of data decreases when transformation on data is carried out. So there is need to develop system which preserves privacy along with accuracy. So the privacy preservation issue of data streams mining is very important issue. Read More...

RESEARCH PAPER ON MODELING AND SIMULATION OF DISC BRAKE TO ANALYSE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION USING FEA
-Subhasis Sarkar ; Dr. Prof. P. P. Rathod; Prof. A. J. Modi
Braking is a process which converts kinetic energy of vehicle into mechanical energy which must be dissipated in form of heat. Without brake system in the vehicle will put a passenger in the unsafe position. Brakes convert friction to heat, but if the brakes get too hot, they will cease to work because they cannot dissipate enough heat. The objective of the current study is to investigate and analyse the temperature distribution of rotor disc and to identify critical temperature during operation using FEA analysis. Static thermal analysis have been carried out on the disc rotor to evaluate and compare their performance and the temperature distribution was analyzed considering cooling parameters (convection and radiation).Comparative study is carried out between different materials i.e. AMMC, Asbestos, and GCI etc. The results obtained by finite element simulation and good material have been suggested. -Dhavalkumar B patel ; khushbu C. panchal
In this paper an effort is made to review the investigations that have been made on the “Stress Analysis of an Infinite Plate with Two Square or Rectangular Cutouts in Composite Materialsâ€. To reduce the weight of the system, different cutout shapes are required to make in structural elements. These discontinuities are weakening agent for the structure or machine. The presence of a cutout complicates the stress distribution in the plate so stress field around such hole must be known under different loading conditions. A number of analytical and experimental techniques are available for stress analysis around the different types of cut-outs for different condition in an infinite plate, made up of different materials under different loading condition has been reported in this article. The methods compared are tabulated with their findings. Singularities of square and rectangular hole in rectangular plate are considered in present study. Read More...

Today Corporations and individuals have demand of high-speed networks to support their everyday activities. For that LTE-Long Team Evolution is one of most popular 3GPP 4G standard cellular network made. The major issue to design any encryption and decryption algorithm is to improve the security level. Encryption and authentication procedures should protect networks from most attacks. LTE use 128-EEA1 (based on SNOW 3G) and 128-EEA2 (based on AES) encryption algorithm. But there is a trade-off between speed and security algorithms. So for security need algorithms which balance security with the speed of Data acquisition. Research In this paper we explain current EPS security mechanism as EEA2 with AES algorithm with counter mode. To improve complexity we do one time more Encryption so we make data more secure during transmission and protected again Attacks possibility. The entire EPS security mechanism will be implemented in MATLAB. Design & Implementation of PCI Core to AMBA AHB Bus Interface
-SNEHAL K THESIA
The purpose of this paper is to integrate the PCI CORE TO AMBA AHB BUS INTERFACE. The design accounts for crossing clock domains as it is inevitable in a system on chip design with multiple components running at different frequencies. The Bridge maps various control signals and address spaces from one bus into those of another bus. This high performance bridge enables any embedded processor connected to an AMBA AHB to act either as a host bridge or a simple bridge on a PCI bus. A host bridge connects CPU to on board PCI devices, it contains PCI arbiter and is used to initialize and communicate with PCI devices. A simple bridge is usually implemented in PCI plug-in board and makes CPU act as a master/target PCI device. The interface will be useful in many SoC having AMBA bus in the RISC processor which will be connected to other peripherals. Read More...

Digital Watermarking Using Reconfigurable DWT
-JAYA VIRWANI
This paper surveys the various VLSI architectures recently developed to implement lifting based scheme of DWT. The basic principle behind the lifting scheme DWT is it decomposes the finite impulse response filters in wavelet transform into a finite sequence of simple filtering steps. The main hazards faced in image processing are speed, computational complexities and memory requirements. This paper tries to obtain such an architecture which focuses all three tradeoffs i.e., speed, memory requirement and computational complexities. The architecture proposed in this paper includes lifting based scheme DWT which is implemented using Direct Mapped Architecture and then it is reconfigured so that same RM(Reconfigurable Module) of FPGA will be occupied by Reconfigurable IDWT module. Digital Watermarking is achieved using Alpha Blending Technique. Read More...

Tsunamigenic Earthquake along the Makran Subduction Zone:
-Bhupesh K. Katariya ; Dr. V. M. Patel; D. M. Patel; K. A. Patel; Aparnathi Mahek
The Indian Ocean is the most likely source area for future destructive tsunamis (Jordan, 2008, Rastogi, 2006, Singh et. al. 2011) [1] [2]. It is noticed that the almost all of the recorded tsunamis along the Arabian Peninsula have occurred on its eastern and southern edge. The Makran coast is extremely vulnerable to tsunamis and earthquakes due to the presence of three very active tectonic plates namely, the Arabian, Eurasian and Indian plates. On 28 November 1945 at 21:56 UTC (03:26 IST), a massive Makran earthquake generated a destructive tsunami in the Indian Ocean. In India, the tsunami reached a height of about 11-11.5m in Gulf of Kachchh, Gujarat (Pararas Carayannis 2006) [3]. Seismic gap area along the subduction zone of Makran is possible site of future great earthquake, which could generate tsunamigenic condition along western Indian coast. There for this region should be closely monitored. Read More...

-Patel Roshani R ; Mistry Neha J; Mr. Viren G Patel
Today one of the very popular networking is Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) where there is no proper end to end connection between source and destination. Means in Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) source to destination path does not exist. All message transfer using intermediates. In this, routing protocols use the mobility assisted, store-carry-forward paradigm which allows delivery among disconnected network components. This paper proposes to improve the forwarding performance of routing from a resource allocation and delivery performance using IProPHET. This IproPhet(Improve PRoPHET) provides a better way of message delivery in challenged environments and a suitable, efficient technique of solving certain prime issues of cost overhead, replication and loss of messages. In this IProPhet there are three phases. This paper analyzed Delivery forecast computation and analysis of different efficient scheme for improving forwarding technique. Read More...

Finding an Energy Efficient Method for Routing In Mobile Adhoc Network
-Neha J. Mistry ; Roshani R. Patel; Mr. Dhavalsinh M. Gohil
A Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a self-organizing and dynamically configurable wireless network without having fixed infrastructures. Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET’s) consist of nodes which move arbitrarily and form dynamic topologies. MANET’s exhibit characteristics like limited bandwidth, energy constraints, mobility, scalability and limited security. The main issue is energy constraint of nodes in mobile adhoc network. The primary goal of a routing protocol is efficient route establishment between a pair of nodes. Because of limited battery of nodes links failure can be possible. First basic routing protocols’ results are compared. Then here we don’t consider the total energy of route, means which route use less energy will select, This concept is not applied here. Here we consider the remaining batter power of the nodes. So the route which has more total energy is better. Then no of nodes and concept of mobility is also considered. According to these parameters the efficient route will be selected so the failure would be less because of the route has more remaining energy. And here we also apply the different scenario; environment and mobility on the network to analyze the performance. Read More...

Maximizing the heat transfer rate by changing the fin geometry using CFD as a tool.
-RAJPUT HARDIKSINH SHIVAJI ; PATEL VIVEK B.
Motorcycle engine releases heat to the atmosphere through the mode of forced convection heat transfer. To solve this, fins are provided on the outer part of the cylinder. The heat transfer rate is defined depending on the velocity of vehicle, fin geometry and the ambient temperature. Increasing the temperature difference between the object and the environment, increasing the convection heat transfer coefficient, or increasing the surface area of the object increases the heat transfer. Many experimental methods are available in literature to analyze the effect of these factors on the heat transfer rate. However, CFD analysis will be used to simulate the heat transfer of the engine block. ANSYS software is selected to run the simulation. Read More...

HOUGH TRANSFORM BASED IMAGE REGISTRATION
-HARSHVARDHAN S. BHAGWATI ; ASST. PROF. M. I. PATEL
Image registration is the process of overlaying images (two or more) of the same scene taken at different times, from different viewpoints, and/or by different sensors. The Hough transform is a method for detecting curves by exploiting the duality between points on a curve and parameters of that curve. Hough transform theory images by generating the peak point from gray scale images, and seek for the effect caused by the distance and the angles. Lines will appear on the edge of images, which has been processed edge detection theorem. The input to a Hough transform is normally an image that has been edge detected with a Robert, Sobel or Canny edge detector, for instance. To simplify the computation, the parameter can be divided into distance and angles parameters where both parameter to achieve the enhancement of straight line detection using Hough Transform. In this case it is more like a pattern matcher. Even though that the Hough transform is invariant to rotation. Finally, the input images are registered using the estimated rotation parameter. Simulation of Partial Discharge in Solid Dielectric Material
-Vishal Dayaram Kahar ; Ch.V Sivakumar
In high voltage (HV) electrical power system, variety of solid, liquid and gaseous materials are used for insulation purpose to protect the incipient failure inside the HV power equipment. Partial discharge (PD) represents a physical phenomenon, in which discharges are involved in electrically weak regions of solid insulation materials (mostly within gaseous or liquid inclusions). They cause damage to the insulation and often start from the enclosed voids and/or at interface defects. The period in which the insulation is still in good operating condition is of great practical interest. The effect of PD also results in failure of the dielectric much before the expected life-time. This project focused on the results of the partial discharges in solid dielectric with a single cavity as defect. AC source with 50Hz frequency voltage was applied. It is observed that the discharge current is proportional with the input voltage. The discharge current amplitude for input 10 kV is half the input of 20 kV and a third of 30 kV input. All discharge currents and discharge voltages occur in nano-seconds. Read More...

Automation of Automotive Industry using Robot Sensors
-Govinda.K ; Yashveer ; Vibhuti Narayan Singh
This paper presents new method for robotic area sensing system developed for industrial manufacturing in assembly of the equipments & other objects. This will remove the need for humans to work in hazardous or unsafe environments, as well as environmental benefits, in the form of more energy efficient production processes. Robot sensors are now days widely used in different field of works. For example, some industrial robots which are used for transportation of the goods. Robots are flexible in that they can easily change their function in order to meet the demands of the manufacturer or the client. In doing so, robots essentially perform three tasks, as they “sense†by drawing, then “think†by using pre-set algorithms and finally “actâ€, using the robots’ to pick up and place an objects. Today, robotics affects a broad sector of economic activities from automotive and electronics industries. Our project concerns with the uses of such sensors in larger fields of automation, transportation, etc. In this we deal with the uses of robots with sensors for transporting entities from place to place in automotive industry or fixing the machine parts in the industry. It also shows that use of robot in the industry reduce the human efforts & time of completion of a task. Read More...
