Stabilisation of Black cotton Soils by Using Groundnut Shell Ash
-P.V.S Madhusudhan ; G. Naveen kumar
Due to rapid increase in the world’s population there is increased demand for food, and this has resulted in the production of different types of crops and consequently large amounts of agricultural wastes are generated. Hence it is necessary to dispose these agricultural wastes safely on to the environment. On other hand BC soils expands and contracts due to changes in the moisture content of the soil, causing structural problems through differential movement of the structure. This isolated movement of sections of the structure can cause damage to building foundations and cracking in the exterior or interior wall covering leads to uneven floors etc. Also cause severe cracking in pavements, swimming pools, pipelines, sidewalks, highways etc. Hence there is need to stabilize expansive soil. From these discussion we should find out the solution for the above two problems. After studying several research papers it is concluded that agricultural wastes can be used effectively in stabilization of BC soils. This project presents stabilization of BC soils using groundnut shell ash since its production increased to large extent. On addition of groundnut shell ash in increment of 15% from 0to 60% to BC soils different experiments on plasticity characteristics, compaction characteristics, shear strength characteristics are conducted .And found gradual improvement in geotechnical properties of black cotton soils. -Gaurang Patel
Friction stir welding (FSW) is a relatively new solid-state joining process. This joining technique is energy efficient, environment friendly, and versatile. In particular, it can be used to join high-strength aerospace aluminum alloys and other metallic alloys that are hard to weld by conventional fusion welding. FSW is considered to be the most significant development in metal joining in a decade. Recently, friction stir processing (FSP) was developed for microstructural modification of metallic materials. In this study, SiC particles and Methanol paste were incorporated by using Friction Stir Processing (FSP) into the 6351 aluminum alloy to form particulate composite materials. Samples were subjected to traverse speeds of the FSP tool with and without Paste (SiC+ Methanol). Microstructural observations were carried out by employing optical microscopy of the modified surfaces. For the 100% overlapping, No. of passes caused grain modification in the processed zone. Mechanism for Transverse Car Parking
-Praful Shirpurkar ; Smitesh Bobde; Pravin Wanjari
Today parking a car on side of the road is major problem. Every time while parking and removing car from the parking space consumes fuel and space. Also we have to leave some space in the front and back side of car so that removing it outside would be easy. We also have to reverse car several time while parking and crashes occurs sometimes. So to overcome this problem we designed a prototype showing transverse car parking mechanism. The mechanism is attached with the car from the bottom side which will lift the car on four small sized wheels by means of pneumatic or hydraulic system and then it moves transversely. The four auxiliary wheels can flip inside so that when we are not using mechanism the ground clearance of the car will be unaffected. This type of mechanism can also use as in-built jack to replace damaged wheels. This type of mechanism will be very much useful for people in emergency cases like removing car from the road in case it’s not starting and this mechanism will work on the battery. Read More...

Hybrid Approach for Robust Digital Video Watermarking
-Shikha P. Choudhary. ; Jay D. Amin
With the growing popularity of internet and digital media, digital watermarking techniques have been developed to protect the copyright of multimedia objects such as text, audio, video, etc. So, we have proposed a hybrid video watermarking technique which takes the advantages of different transforms like DWT, DCT, SVD and Arnold Transform, which enhances more security and provides robustness to the watermark. In this paper method, video is divided into several groups of frames, and one of the frames is selected where watermark will be embedded. Before embedding watermark in a selected frame it will be pre-processed with Arnold Transform which will provide security to it. The selected plane of video frame are decomposed using DWT and high frequency band HH, middle frequency bands LH, HL are transformed with DCT. The DCT coefficients are SVD transformed which are embedded with corresponding transformed coefficients of watermarks along with Arnold Transform. The embedded watermark is extracted with inverse process of embedding. The proposed algorithm is tested with various video sequences using MATLAB 2013a. The distortion quality of original image and watermark is controlled by the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio, Signal to Noise Ratio and Mean square error of the watermarked frame with original frame. Close Loop Control of Induction Motor Using Z-Source Inverter
-Vijay Joshi ; Prof. Jitendra Singh Shakya
In this paper a new closed loop control of induction motor fed by a Z – source inverter based on the vector control or field oriented control strategy is presented.
Induction motor is supplied by Z – source inverter, in the Z – source inverter the term Z denotes impedance which means a combination of L & C element which are cross connected. The Z-source inverter consists of a unique impedance network (or circuit) to couple the inverter main circuit to the power supply, hence providing great features that cannot be observed in the conventional voltage-source inverter and current-source inverters in which capacitor and inductor are used, respectively. In the field oriented control method or vector control method speed of the induction motor, torque & 3 phase stator current is given to the field oriented controller and gate pulses for the inverter is generated to obtain the desired operation of the induction motor.

Online Accessable Traffic Control System for Urban Areas Using Embedded System Technology
-T.Malathi ; S.Kalpanadevi
During recent years traffic congestion is become a serious problem in almost all cities. Due to the high density of traffic, pedestrians find it difficult to cross the road. Even though several advanced strategic plans are introduced to regulate the traffic but due to lack of provision for on- road pedestrian crossing, rate of accidents become very high. One such provision is given is elevated path for pedestrian to cross the road, but the elderly person finds it difficult to use that. Hence an idea is proposed to help the elderly people by giving provision for on- road pedestrian crossing in high density traffic areas like near schools, hospitals, markets, etc. which reduces the accidents rate also. To implement this, here an additional time delay is introduced in the traffic signal for pedestrian crossing in addition to vehicle crossing in all possible direction. Additionally, provision is given to track the vehicle which violates the traffic rules and to clear the traffic for emergency vehicles. All the above said three parameters can be simulated by using PROTEUS software. Read More...

Simulation of Z-Source Inverter Fed Three Phase Induction Motor Drive
-Suneel Kirar ; C.S Sharma
This paper presents performance characteristics of Z-source inverter (ZSI) fed Induction Motor (IM) drives. Z-Source inverter is a single stage converter which performs both buck-boost energy conversions using the LC impedance network. This reduces the voltage range of the capacitors used and also the cost of the proposed topology which is in turn used to control the speed of an induction motor which is used in many valuable industrial applications. The Z Source inverter is a combined inverter with an additional buck-boost feature and the proposed topology increases the efficiency of the circuit by reducing the voltage stress across the capacitors. The z-source inverter is very advantageous over traditional inverters and we can be employed all ac and dc power conversion applications. Z-source inverter can boost dc input voltage with no requirement of dc to dc boost converter or step up transformer hence overcoming output voltage limitation of voltage source inverter as well as lower cost. A comparison among conventional PWM inverter dc to dc boost PWM inverter and control circuit cost which are the main a power electronics system. Read More...

Experimental Analysis to Optimize parameters of Friction Stir Welding of Aluminum Alloy
-Anil Laxmanrao Bavche ; A.P. Ghodake
This paper is a review of research work in the last decade on friction stir welding. In many industrial applications steel is readily replaced by non-ferrous alloys like aluminum alloys. Aluminum alloys having good mechanical properties as equated structural steel and low weight that allows a significant reduction in weight. But the welding of aluminum alloys by regular processes can causes serious problems. The difficulties are like loss of alloying elements and presence of separation and porosities in the weld joint. Friction stir welding (FSW) is a solid state welding process, which removes all these problems of solidification related with the conventional fusion welding processes. In this research work an attempt has been made to develop an the relationship between FSW variables (tool rotation and tilt angle) and tensile strength and yield strength of number of pass friction stir welded aluminium alloy AA 6082 butt joints. Taguchi method is used for analysing the problem in which several independent variables influence the response. A three-parameter -three-level central composite design was used to determine the optimal factors of friction stir welding process for aluminium alloy. Read More...

-J.Velmurugan ; C.Chandravathy; P.Vinothkumar; S.K.Manigandan; D.Ramya
Attribute-based encryption (ABE) can be used for the encryption of data with attributes and logs. Instead of encrypting each part of a log with the keys of all recipients, it is possible to encrypt the log only with attributes which match recipient’s attributes. This primitive can also be used for broadcast encryption in order to decrease the number of keys used. Here the access control will be given with the keys and the attributes. The outsourcing computation cost will be comparatively less when compared to the existing system. The data will be shared between the two users if and only if the key matches. In addition, for the first time, we propose an outsourced ABE construction which provides check ability of the outsourced computation results in an efficient way. The performance analysis has been proven this method to be more secured. Read More...

Experimental Investigation on Partial Replacement of Natural Fine Aggregate by HD-Pet Thermoplastics and Cement by Glass Fibbers in Cement Concrete
-Nadeem M.A ; Prof. Rohan S Gurav; Prof. Brij Bhushan S; Prof. Maneeth P D
Cement concrete is a highly consumed building material around the globe in almost all the construction projects and applications. A matrix containing the composition of binding material cement, well graded inert materials like fine and coarse aggregates, along with water and admixtures is known as the cement concrete. Around the globe, the infrastructure development is increasing day by day, which resulted into the heavy extraction and consumption of naturally available materials like sand, stones, lime, water and soil etc. Because of the modernization around the globe, the problem faced by the excess consumption of cement concrete includes high demand of cement concrete production, higher cost of cement and concrete making materials, excessive wastage, pollution, extraction and consumption of the naturally available materials. The above problem made us to think for an alternative construction material like HD-PET (High Density Polyethylene Terephthalate) Thermoplastics and Chopped Strand Mat Glass Fibers obtained from the industries of waste plastic and glass recycling units in the production of cement concrete. This dissertation work deals with the study of partial replacement of fine aggregates by HD-PET Thermoplastics and Cement by Chopped Strand Mat Glass Fibers in M20 grade of cement concrete. HD-PET and Glass fibers are the waste obtained from the waste plastic and glass recycling units. In this project work, we have made an attempt to study the compressive, split tensile and flexural strength of M20 grade cement concrete by using HD-PET Thermoplastics and Glass fibers as partial replacement to the fine aggregates and cement. Compressive strength test was conducted to study the strength of concrete for 7 and 28 days of curing period and the split tensile strength and flexural strength are conducted to study the strength for 28 days of curing period. The compressive strength of cement concrete showed the highest test results at 15% HD-PET and 0.5% chopped strand mat glass fibers with a value of 8.959 N/mm2 at 7 days and 25.281 N/mm2 at 28 days, split tensile strength of cement concrete showed higher strength at 15% HD-PET and 0.5% chopped strand glass fibers with a value of 2.916 N/mm2 at 28 days, the highest flexural strength of concrete was obtained at 15% HD-PET and 0.5% chopped strand glass fibers with a value of 3.944 N/mm2 at 28 days of curing period, which is higher than the normal conventional cement concrete. From this experimental study, it is concluded that the fine aggregates can be partially replaced by HD-PET upto 15% and cement by constant 0.5% of chopped strand mat glass fibers. Read More...

Fog Computing:The Justifying Insider Data Stealing Attacks in the Cloud
-Kalyani Gagare ; kalyani Gagre; Saniksha Bhusappa; Anand Moon; Subhash Kursunge
Cloud computing allows us for share and access our personal and business data. With this technology the communication becomes faster. But when a user share his personal data, he will start worrying about the security. Existing data security paradigms such as encryption have failed in protect data theft attacks, especially those committed by an insider to the cloud service provider. To overcome this problem, We propose a different approach for providing the security for data in the cloud by using offensive decoy technology(ODT). In this Technic we observe data access in the cloud and detect anomalous data access patterns. When unofficial access is found and then verified using challenge questions, we launch a deception attack by returning large amounts of decoy information to the attacker. This protects against the illegal use of the user’s real data. Experiments conducted in a local file setting provide indication that this approach may provide extraordinary levels of user data security in a Cloud environment. Read More...

Amazon/Play store provide a great number of products but unfortunately few of those product reviews are fraud. Hence such products must be marked, so that they will be recognizable for rest of the users. Here we are comparing reviews from two sites so that we can get more clear idea. We can get higher probability of getting real reviews if we take data from multiple sites. We are proposing a system to develop an android application that will take reviews from two different websites for single product, and analyze them with NLP for positive or negative rating. In this, user will give two different URLs of two different sites for same product to the system as input. For every URL reviews and comments will be fetched separately and analyzed with NLP for positive negative rating. Then their rating will be combined together with average to give final rating for the product. As we are handling the big data here, we are using Hadoops map reduce. So it will be easier to decide which product reviews are fraud or not. Read More...

-Mrs.R.Kavitha ; Dr.P.C. Mukesh Kumar
Nanofluids are the dispersion of nano-sized particles into base fluids. Nanofluids have wide scope for applying as coolant in many of the engineering fields because of its higher thermal conductivity and more desirable thermal properties. Numerous mathematical models and experimental models have been proposed to predict the thermo physical properties for the past two decades. It has been noticed that many discrepancies between the mathematical and experimental results of thermo physical properties of nanofluids, in particular, thermal conductivity and viscosity. To mitigate those discrepancies, Intelligent Techniques with flexible mathematical structure that is capable of identifying complex non-linear relationships between input and output data were utilized to accurately predict the thermal properties of nanofluids. The data mining model based on genetic neural network has been widely applied to the procedure of data mining on thermal physical properties of nanofluids to acquire the pattern knowledge. This paper is to review the thermal conductivity of nanofluids research publications which are inter linked with soft computing tools. The outcome of this review shall lead to optimize the nanofluids properties while applying heat transfer nanofluids and to reduce the experimental test runs and number of hypothesis posed by different investigators. Parametric Analysis of Single Element U Slot Microstrip Antenna
-Mengade Rahul Dinkar ; Bhalerao A.S.; Dhede V. M.
In wireless communication system antennas are the most important element for creating communication link between source and destination. Microsrtip antennas are used for mobile and other satellite communication application because of their light weight, low power handling capacity and low profile. The modern mobile communication system requires high gain, wide bandwidth and minimal size antennas that are capable of providing better performance over a wide range of frequency spectrum. This requirement leads to the design of microsrtip patch array antenna. This paper proposes the parametric analysis of single element U slot MSA. Low dielectric constant substrates are generally preferred for maximum radiation. Thus it prefers FR4 as a dielectric substrate. Desired patch antenna design is simulated by using high frequency simulation software and patch antenna is designed as per requirement. Antenna dimensions such as Length (L), Width (W), and substrate dielectric constant and parameters like Return Loss, Gain, impedance and current distribution are calculated using CAD-FEKO. The antenna has been design to be operated in the range of 8-12GHz. Hence this antenna is highly suitable for X-band applications. Read More...

MPI (Message Passing Interface) has been effectively used in the high performance computing community for years and is the main programming model. The MPI is being widely used to developed parallel programs on computing system such as clusters. The major component of high performance computing (HPC) environment MPI is becoming increasingly prevalent. MPI implementations typically equate an MPI process with an OS-process, resulting in decomposition technique where MPI processes are bound to the physical cores. It integrated approach makes it possible to add more concurrency than available parallelism, while minimizing the overheads related to context switches, scheduling and synchronization. Fiber is used by it to support multiple MPI processes inside an operating system process. There are three widely used MPI libraries, including OPENMPI, MPICH2 and MVAPICH2. This paper works on the decomposition techniques and also integrates the MPI environment with using MPICH2. Read More...
