AUTOMATIc bottle filling inspection system using image processing
-Vinit Dave ; Prof. S.K.Hadia
The enlargement of Indian food industry is an even matter of fact. Especially the beverage industry is at its peak. So looking at the prevailing conditions it is very crucial to continue an error free fast production line. For this purpose an automated liquid level monitoring system has been proposed in this paper. The work is achieved by using image processing techniques for the detection of the correct liquid level. This project aims at designing an automated system for monitoring the bottle filling process in the beverage industry. The aim is to check whether the bottle is filled with proper quantity of beverage or not. Moreover we have also developed an algorithm in which along with the any color liquid level, bottle cap detection, label detection and dirty bottle detection is done, so that a full proof system can be designed in bottle packaging industry. Since bottling is one of the most common packaging styles in the food industries, in this paper we will depend on the visual inspection of bottles. Checking the quality of the cap closure and over-filling/under-filling checks for the level of the liquid in the bottle have been observed to reach an optimized bottle product. The proposed work is achieved using image processing techniques utilizing the matlab platform without disturbing the high speed production line. We have used a cropping technique for color detection and level sensing. Label detection is done by optical character recognition. All of this activity needs to be done in such a way without disturbing the production line. Read More...

-Shashi Shekhar Singh ; Ayush Srivastava; Sharma Ganesh Mohandatta; Avinash Kumar; Pankaj Kaushik
Modern structures are becoming more and more slender but with improved stiffness with use of large number of materials in combination, making the predictions of dynamic characteristics of such structures extremely difficult for the analysis using commercially available general purpose finite element softwares. On the other hand, if a building floor is properly excited and the input force and the resulting responses are accurately measured with proper hardware, the dynamic characteristics can be found out without much error. The present work is focused on actual physical measurement of input force of a reaction mass shaker to a typical building floor to determine the floor dynamics. A case study on a Single storey roof slab establishes the advantages of this kind of combined experimental and numerical methods. This work is in continuation with our previous work, published in IJSRD, Volume 3, Issue 2, entitled, “Modal analysis – Case-Study of testing on a Double storey Laboratory floorâ€. Read More...

An appropriate similarity measure for k-means algorithm in clustering web documents
-S JAIGANESH ; Dr.P.JAGANTHAN
Organizing a large volume of documents into categories through clustering facilitates searching and finding the relevant information on the web easier and quicker. Hence we need more efficient clustering algorithms for organizing large volume of documents. Clustering on large text dataset can be effectively done using partitional clustering algorithms. The K-means algorithm is the most suitable partitional clustering approach for handling large volume of data. K-means clustering algorithm uses a similarity metric that determines the distance from a document to a point that represents a cluster head. This similarity metric plays a vital role in the process of cluster analysis. The usage of suitable similarity metric improves the clustering results. There are varieties of similarity metrics available to find the similarity between any two documents. In this paper, we analyse the performance and effectiveness of these similarity measures in particular to k-means partitional clustering for text document datasets. We use seven text document datasets and five similarity measures namely Euclidean distance, cosine similarity, Jaccard coefficient, Pearson correlation coefficient and Kullback-Leibler Divergence. Based on our experimental study, we conclude that cosine correlation measure is the best suited similarity metric for K-means clustering algorithm. Read More...

OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUES USED IN ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING ? A TECHNICAL REVIEW
-PAVAGADHI DHARMIN M. ; RANA MIHIR S.; PROF. B C KHATRI; PROF. JANAK B. VALAKI
Optimization is a technique to finding the maximum and minimum value. Optimization is the mathematical discipline which is concerned with finding the maxima and minima of functions, possibly subject to constraints. Optimization is the act of achieving the best possible result under given circumstances. In design, construction, maintenance, engineers have to take decisions. The goal of all such decisions is either to minimize effort or to maximize beneï¬t. The effort or the beneï¬t can be usually expressed as a function of certain design variables. Hence, optimization is the process of ï¬nding the conditions that give the maximum or the minimum value of a function. It is obvious that if a point corresponds to the minimum value of a function f(x), the same point corresponds to the maximum value of the function -f(x). Thus, optimization can be taken to be minimization. There is no single method available for solving all optimization problems efficiently. Hence, a number of methods have been developed for solving different types of problems. Read More...

Attacks on Digital Watermarking and its Impacts Using Various Codes
-HARSHIL.B.JANI
This paper discusses a new method of watermarking digital images by using convolutional codes to improve detection. The watermarks are coded, interleaved, and then embedded into the DCT coefficients of an image. Detection is performed by first extracting the DCT coefficients of the watermarked image. Then the sequence is deinterleaved and decoded using the Viterbi Algorithm. This watermarking method is compared to another scheme that does not use coding. The watermarked images are added with noise, compressed, and resized to simulate attempts to remove the watermark. Convolutional codes in watermarks prove to be robust to additive noise and JPEG compression, but vulnerable to image resizing. Different attacks which is encountered on it. Read More...

Wireless Information And Power Transfer In Multiuser OFDM System: A Review
-Atul Mugale ; Shivani Pandita
In wireless communication information and power transfer is very challenging task. To perform this task it is important to harvest energy and information decoding. This paper gives an overview of wireless information and power transfer in various techniques along with its advantages and disadvantages. In practical still harvesting energy from radio signals are not able to decode information directly therefore to make theoretical progress in each technique power splitting is essential which helps to split received signal with adjustable power ratio to co-ordinate for energy harvesting and information decoding directly. The orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a multi-carrier modulation technique which is very much famous in new wireless networks of IEEE standard, digital television, long term evolution (LTE) and audio broadcasting. The main benefit of OFDM over single-carrier schemes is its capacity to survive with severe channel conditions without complex equalization filters. It has upgraded the quality of long-distance communication by eliminating inter symbol interference (ISI) and enhancing signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The main drawbacks of OFDM are its high peak to average power ratio and its sensitivity to phase noise and frequency offset. Read More...

Neighbor node discovery using ospf algorithm
-Parag S. Naik ; Prof. Manish K. Hadap
the nodes in the network act as router. The router forwards data packets from one node to another. A router is connected to at least two networks, commonly two LANs or WANs. Routers are located at gateways, the places where two or more networks connect. When a data packet comes in one of the lines, the router reads the address information in the packet to determine its ultimate destination. Routers perform the “traffic directing†functions on the internet. A data packet is typically forwarded from one router to another through the networks until it reaches its destination node. The packet sending from one node to another is based on the shortest path. The link cost determines the shortest path between nodes. Packet capturing (or packet sniffing) is the process of collecting all packets of data that pass through a given network interface. Capturing network packets in our applications is a powerful capability which lets us write network monitoring, packet analyzer and security tools. Read More...

-GORE GAJANAN GULABRAO ; RAVINDRA BABU YARASU
Continuous research is going on exchanger design and development to fulfill the demand of power sector, refrigeration and air conditioning, chemical industry, nuclear sectors this lead to evolution of helical coil tube heat exchanger. Higher performance and compactness are primary requirements of heat and mass transfer devices hence researchers are endeavor towards heat enhancement techniques with reduction in size of heat exchanger. An attempt is made here to elaborate the effect of constructional feature on these parameters by experimentally and using CFD technique. From several studies of previous authors it has been noted that curvature ratio is most predominant factor in helically coiled tube that affect heat transfer characteristics, hence main objective behind present study is to investigate the effect different curvature ratio helical tubes on single phase fluid flow and convective heat transfer characteristics. CFD simulation and experimental analysis indicates that compactness i.e. surface area density increases with curvature ratios, it is observed that heat flux increase with increase curvature ratio but at the expense of pressure drop in helical tube. Research on Centrifugal Compressor Vanes Variable Geometry
-prashant singh ; Prashant Singh; Sachin Ku. Shah; Saurabh Shriwas; Tikeshwar Karsh
the study and investigation about centrifugal compressor is being invested in this paper and the [3] objective of this paper is to present Vane consideration and test rig and its flow geometry on the vane surface. Compressor is the devise in which air is compressed with high energy and this energy is used for combuction which is the procedure of the engine after that the fluid is passed in the turbine and it expand through the exhaust and it produce the thrust. The main work of compressor is to produce the high speed with better compression and load .the section of compressor hoses the power for compressor rotor and its main work is to supply the air in sufficient amount to satisfy needs of combustor. When mechanical work of compressor and turbine are converted the potential energy and fuel is added in combustion and after that it expand through exhaust and produce the suitable thrust. The principle behind the compressor is the acceleration of working fluid and it follow the diffusion and to convert the kinetic energy for pressure rice. The primary and initial work is the pressure of the mass of air entering in the air entering and the discharge to the diffuser and the combustion chamber with correct velocity and pressure and temperature. In early days compressor had less efficient than now we have today, we entered the suitable amount of air flow in the compressor and high temperature to improve the laminar flow over the lot of aerofoil at high velocity and pressure. Compressor efficiency is based on least temperature rise, and presently the efficiency of the compressor is 85 to 90%. And the secondary purpose of the engine is to supply the Bleed air to cool hot section parts. Another use of the compressor is to supply the extract air supply for aircraft use. There are only two types of compressor which is centrifugal compressor and axial flow compressor before few years we used centrifugal compressor but now axial flow compressor is running in aviation industry. Time as Factor in Software Project Development: Necessary Evil
-Manas Kumar Yogi ; Lakshmi Lavanya Boppana
Time is addressed differently by different people and cultures; for example, in western culture, time is mainly associated with financial profit, i.e., ‘‘Time is money.’’ Time plays a special role in software engineering: the project schedule should be met, the product should be delivered on time, and teammates should complete their tasks on time, and so on. This paper deals with how the time concept is expressed in software engineering in general and in conventional software development in particular. In conventional software development time is boxed for each activity, and when needed, instead of ‘‘moving’’ deadlines, the scope is changed according to customer priorities. This conception is supported by conventional software development methods in different ways that not only enable one to work at a sustainable pace, but that also result in high quality products. OD seg¬mentation is done by extracting sub-image, an OD pixel and its surrounding region (a surrounding region wide enough to include the whole OD) are selected. Then the OD boundary is extracted in parallel from both the red and green channels of this sub-image by means of morphological and edge detection techniques. In order to smooth out the distracters, the image is transformed to the frequency do¬main and filtered by the Gaussian low-pass filter. OD boundaries are approx¬imated by a circumference using the Circular Hough Transform. Read More...

-M.Tamilarasan ; K.Ramsundar ; M.SankaraNarayanan ; G.Shunmuga Priya
In wireless sensor network data loss is the major problem which occurred during the transmission of data between sensor nodes over the network. The loss of data should affect the communication between source and destination so, to minimize or to reduce the data loss, data loss recovery scheme called as “compressive sensing†based data loss recovery mechanism is proposed. Compressive Sensing technique can be embedded into smart wireless sensors and effectively increases wireless communication reliability without retransmitting the data and also to reduce communication time and power savings. According to the theory of CS, the raw signal can be effectively reconstructed from the received incomplete transformed signal given that the raw signal is compressible in some basis and the data loss ratio is low. To secure the communication data by using cryptography standard mechanism. It is used to save the confidentiality of transferred between source and destination. Read More...

A Novel Approach For Diagnosis Of Sleep Apnea
-R.C.Kokhila ; K.Ramamoorthy
Sleep Apnea is a recognize of abnormal breathing activities and limb movements on frequent disorder with detrimental health, performance and safety effects. The diagnosis of the disorder is mostly expensive. In this method we detect the four main features of respiratory signal. The automatic signal classification starts by extracting signal features from a 1 minute data segment through autoregressive modeling (AR) and other techniques. Four features are: signal energy, zero crossing frequency, dominant frequency estimated by AR and strength of dominant frequency based on AR. These features are then compared to threshold values and introduced to a series of conditions to determine the signal category for each specific feature. Read More...

A Hybrid Approach Of Hyperspectral Image Restoration And Quality Assesment
-D.MUTHUMARI ; M.PONMALAR; B.SIVARANJANI; R.ARJUNA
Haze is an atmospheric phenomenon that signifi-cantly degrades the visibility of outdoor scenes. This is mainly due to the atmosphere particles that absorb and scatter the light. This paper introduces a novel single image approach that enhances the visibility of such degraded images. Our method is a fusion-based strategy that derives from two original hazy image inputs by applying a white balance and a contrast enhancing procedure. To blend effectively the information of the derived inputs to preserve the regions with good visibility, we filter their important features by computing three measures (weight maps): luminance, chromaticity, and saliency. To minimize artifacts introduced by the weight maps, our approach is designed in a multiscale fashion, using a Laplacian pyramid representation. We are the first to demonstrate the utility and effectiveness of a fusion-based technique for dehazing based on a single degraded image. The method performs in a per-pixel fashion, which is straightforward to implement. The experimental results demonstrate that the method yields results comparative to and even better than the more complex state-of-the-art techniques, having the advantage of being appropriate for real-time applications. -Madhura Mane ; Abhay Patil; Utkarsha Mane; Aarati Kachare
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is the process of managing a good relationship with customer and retain customers .The telecom industry provides the services to the customer in order to satisfy their needs and requirements. It handles the large data of customers. but due to market dynamicity and competition, company face one problem that is loss of valuable customers. To overcome this, we need to understand the behavior of customers in terms of usage level of provided services. Data mining is the efficiently used tool in CRM.it collects all the information about the customers. Also extract the patterns from the data to transform into knowledge information. Clustering is one of the data mining techniques used in customer segmentation. This segmentation approach is achieve using fuzzy logic. With the help of this it forms the fuzzy cluster. This cluster represents the group of customers regarding particular services. This technique is referred to as soft clustering also called as fuzzy clustering. In Soft clustering each data point has a probability of being in each cluster. The data points are assigned memberships value for each of the clusters. The complete operation is known as Fuzzy C-means (FCM) Clustering algorithm. It also handles the extreme outliers by assigning them a very small membership degree in surrounding clusters. The formation of clustered data represents the output. This paper focuses on applying FCM algorithm to calculate the churn ratio of a particular service accurately. Read More...

-Ajinkya Pawar ; Aparna Pulate; Rushikesh Handge; Vrushali Kolhe
An axiological abstracts affiliation assignment faced by online bartering portals and business seek engines is the affiliation of products advancing from assorted providers to their artifact catalogs. In this scenario, the bartering aperture has its own anatomy (the “master taxonomyâ€), while anniversary abstracts provider organizes its articles into a altered anatomy (the “provider taxonomyâ€). In this paper, we accede the botheration of allocation articles from the abstracts providers into the adept taxonomy, while authoritative use of the provider taxonomy information. Our access is based on a taxonomy-aware processing footfall that adjusts the after-effects of a text-based classifier to ensure that articles that are abutting calm in the provider anatomy abide abutting in the adept taxonomy. We codify this intuition as a structured anticipation enhancement problem. To the best of our knowledge, this is the aboriginal access that leverages the structure of taxonomies in adjustment to enhance archive integration. We adduce algorithms that are scalable and appropriately applicative to the large abstracts sets that are archetypal on the web. We apprise our algorithms on real-world abstracts and we appearance that taxonomy-aware classification provides a cogent advance over absolute approaches. Read More...

Enhanced Markovian Model for Image Retrieval Using Synonymous Keywords
-Neha Sushil Thakare. ; Sneha Ahirrav; Rohini Ahire; Priyanka Dhake
Image indexing and retrieval has been an active research area for more than a decade. Even if many achievements have been made in this region, it is a challenging issue and mile from being solved. Classical content-based approaches make use of queries based on image examples or image attributes like color and structure, and images are retrieved according to the similarity of each target image with the query image. Despite, image query based retrieval systems do not really capture the semantics or meanings of images well. Furthermore, image queries are difficult and inconvenient to form for most users. Annotation based image retrieval is one of the promising image retrieval technique because of its power to represent user queries and semantic substance of images. There are many way presented for annotation-based retrieval as well as automatic annotation indexing of images. Currently Markov chain based process, Markovian Semantic Indexing is popularized which is efficient as compared to all previous methods. In this the user propose a unique methodology for classification and annotation-based retrieval of pictures. The new technique is also applicative in the context of an online image retrieval system. The new process is shown to possess bound theoretical blessings and additionally to attain higher precision versus Recall results compared to existing technique of Markovian Semantic Indexing in Annotation Based Image Retrieval. The proposed system extends Markovian Semantic Indexing by considering multiple keywords and synonyms in the user query. The inventive results show the performance of the proposed system. Securing the Mobile Agents and QoS Aware Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
-Dr.K.SANGEETHA ; DR.A.M.NATARAJAN
Mobile agents (MAs) are processes which can autonomously migrate to new hosts. Despite its many practical benefits, mobile agent technology results in significant new security threats from malicious agents and hosts. The primary added complication is that, as an agent traverses multiple hosts, its state can change in ways that adversely impact its functionality. This paper deals with the implementation of dynamic threshold cryptography for securing the mobile agents. Threshold cryptography proved to be an effective scheme for key management and distribution. However it adds overhead to routing and increases traffic in the network. Due to bandwidth constraints and energy conservation, an efficient implementation of the scheme is critical. A new approach to reduce the overhead caused by threshold cryptography using QoS routing is implemented. Read More...
