-Prof. Praveenkumar Abbu ; Aher Mayur; Gadge Laxman
In today’s technology, there are new attacks are emerging everyday due to that the system makes the insecure even the system wrapped with number of security measures. To detect the intrusion, an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is used. To detect the intrusion and respond in timely manner is its prime function. In other words, IDS function is limited to detection as well as response. The IDS is unable to capture the state of the system when an intrusion is detected. So that in original form, it fails to preserve the evidences against the later examination. In this research work, there proposed an automated Digital Forensic Technique with Intrusion Detection System. It sends an alert message to capture the state of the system, to administrator followed by invoke the digital forensic tool Once an IDS detects an intrusion. To prove the damage Captured image can be used as evidence in the court of law. Read More...

Study on the Effect of Gamma Irradiation on Tensile Properties of Natural Fibers Reinforced Hybrid Composites
-Raghavendra Supreeth B.S ; Vinod. B; Dr. L. J. Sudev
Now-a-days, Natural Fibers appear to be the outstanding materials which come as the viable and abundant substitute for the expensive and non-renewable synthetic fibre. These, Natural fibers are not only strong and light weight but also relatively very cheap. Among several natural fibers, Pineapple leaf fibre (PALF) is one that has good potential as reinforcement in polymer composite, it was extracted from raw pineapple leaf. Jute is the most widely used natural fibers due to its advantages such as ease of availability, low density, low production cost and moderate mechanical properties; it was extracted from stem of the plant. The hybrid (PALF and Jute) fibers was then chemically treated and dried in hot air oven to hinder the water content. In this present work the hybrid composite specimens were prepared by using Bisphenol-A (BPA) as a matrix and the short hybrid (PALF/Jute) fiber with length of 9mm and 30% volume fraction as reinforcement were prepared by hand lay-up technique. The study is made to show the tensile properties difference between unirradiated and gamma irradiated hybrid composites. The hybrid composites were irradiated at 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 kGy using cobalt-60 source in the presence of air. The results showed that, hybrid composites irradiated at 5 kGy radiation dose delivered the best possible results. Read More...

Contingency Screening and Ranking using N-R Method
-Mahesh Pal Singh ; Dr. L. S. Titare
Steady state power system insecurity such as transmission lines being overloaded causes transmission elements cascade outages which may lead to complete blackout. The power system operator must know the system state at any instant. The contingency analysis predicts which contingencies make system violations and rank the contingencies based on sensitivity. Active power, reactive power and maximum loadability index have been derived. For all contingencies performance indexes have been computed using Newton Raphson power flow method in MATLAB environment. Ranking is done on the basis of sensitivity approach. Sensitivity is the change in load bus voltage w.r.t. change in load. In this paper contingency screening & ranking with voltage stability consideration is performed on IEEE 5 bus system using developed methodology. Read More...

Semi Supervised Based Spatial EM Framework for Microarray Analysis
-Miss.S.Eniya ; Mr.C.Saravanabhavan; Mrs.A.Kanimozhi
Microarray technology has become one of the vital tools that many biologists use to monitor genome wide expression levels of genes in a given organism under a particular condition. A microarray is typically a glass slide on to which DNA molecules are fixed in an orderly manner at specific locations called spots (or features). This data can be represented as gene expression which can be constructed as table where each row corresponds to one particular gene, each column to a sample, and each entry of the matrix is the measured expression level of a particular gene in a sample, respectively. The main problem is analyzing gene expression to classify samples based on particular patterns among large amount genes. So in this paper, monitor large amount gene expression according to their gene expression profiles. This can be done using clustering approach with finite mixture of learning data to mine meaningful patterns from the gene expression data using Spatial EM algorithm. It can be used to calculate spatial mean and rank based scatter matrix to extract relevant patterns and further implement KNN (K- nearest neighbor classification) approach to diagnosis the diseases. The experimental results prove that Spatial EM based classification approach provides improved accuracy rate in disease diagnosis. Read More...

Comparivite Study Between Conventional Curing and Self Curing of Concrete by Using PEG-6000
-Sunil Kumar Kanumuri ; S Shiva Prasad
As curing is the main criteria in getting maximum characteristic strength for concrete. It should be done in a proper way so that every element of the structure gets its strength. Because of the process of heat of hydration between cement and water, concrete is able to attain its full strength. Due to improper curing the structure may not able to get its full strength in order to avoid this imperfection self curing concept was introduced. By using PEG-6000(Poly ethylene glycol) in the concrete it helps in arresting the hydration of water from the concrete so as to retain them in the concrete. With the varying percentages of PEG usage with respect to the weight of cement in concrete from 0.1% to 1.0%.The optimum usage percentage of PEG-6000 can be find out by compressive strength test. So that the mechanical properties like split tensile, flexure and the durability properties like Acid durability factor test for both conventionally cured concrete and the concrete with PEG 6000 can be performed. PEG with higher molecular weight 6000 is best suited for self curing concrete has be shown. Read More...

Enhancement of Data Utility for Data Anonymization - A Review
-A.Annusooya ; Prof. T.Seeniselvi
A key challenge in privacy-preserving data mining is maximizing the usage of data by minimizing the privacy risk. The organization provides the data that must be both useful and also with contains low risk of confidentiality disclosure is the main aim. The Concept of recognizing the de-identification of data is generally inadequate to protect their confidentiality against attacker so, disclosure limitation techniques can be used to the original data to reduce the risk. Desirably, the resulting restricted data have both high data utility to users (analytically valid data) and low disclosure risk (safe data). The organization applies a set of transformation to the original data before accessing it. This study aims to examine an approach to permit dissemination of explicit data to a wider range or data utility of public constituents and at the same time protects the identities of original data. In this paper maximization of the data utility is addressed by maintaining its risk below a certain acceptable threshold. Read More...

-Dhanya T ; Dr. Thomas Pinto
Food industries require conveyor belts to carry the ingredients and manufactured products from one place to the required destination for processing, mixing, refining, cutting, packing and finally dispatching. Majority of the factories employ unidirectional belt control. If bi-directional conveyor belt control is implemented then the efficiency and productivity of the system will be enhanced. Squirrel cage induction motor is used to drive the conveyor belt. Programmable Logic Controllers are utilized for controlling reason. The CAMPCO (Central Arecanut & Cocoa Marketing & Processing Co-operative) Limited has chocolate factory in Puttur which has unidirectional conveyor belt controller for filling chocolates into the containers. To increase the efficiency and productivity bi-directional controller is designed and implemented for the factory in this project work. The direction of rotation of conveyor belt depends on the state of level sensors connected to the container. The ladder program is developed using WPL Soft 2.30 and simulated. The proposed model uses Delta PLC as controller for its fast, stable and exceedingly solid applications in mechanical computerization. A three phase induction motor of 1380rpm, 0.75KW, 2A, 415V with star connected stator is used to drive the conveyor belt in the proposed model. This dissertation work presents configuration and execution of a checking and direction control system for the three phase induction motor to drive conveyor belt based on Programmable Logic Controller technology.
