De-duplication with Safe Authorization Using Pattern matching Algorithm for Hybrid cloud
-Anirudha padmakar Sawargaonkar ; Anirudha Sawargaonkar
In recent few years, cloud computing provides high amount of data storage space and it provides parallel computing at low cost. Cloud is used to store high amount of data .Everyday high amount of data will be generated & i.e to be stored on cloud ,so due to huge amount of data storage it rises new issues or challenges. The data deduplication technique is used for reducing the storage requirement by eliminating the repeated data on the cloud. Only one unique object of the data is actually is stored on the media for example on disk or tape. Repeated data is replaced with a pointing to the single data copy. For example, an email may contain 100 objects of the same 1 MB file attachment, If the email is back up, all 100 objects are saved, requiring 100 MB storage space with data deduplication. Only 1 object of the attachment is actually stored .now each object is just refer back to the one saved copy. In this instance the 100 Mb storage requirements could be reduced to only 1 MB. Data deduplication works with convergent encryption technique to encrypt data before uploading. In the large firms the deduplication method is used in back up and the disaster recovery applications. This paper addresses the secure authorized data dedupication problem in the existing encryption systems. Read More...

The cutting of metal pieces, PVC pipes and solid pvc bars is a common practice in our daily activities. In automotive industrial machines individual spare part, metal pipe or rod is required to cut into small pieces. It is being cut with the chop saw machine or the band saw machines or sometimes the manual cutting is done. e.g. the plastic pipes are required for the dry batteries to cut manually. This is more time consuming. In order to increase the quantity of the pieces cut within specific time, the multiple cutting machines are preferred. These machines are capable to cut the object with four hack saw machines simultaneously with the single motor and this improves the efficiency. Read More...

Server Room Protection System Using Gaseous Carbon Dioxide As An Active Material
-Savan Patel ; Sairaj Amberkar; Niket Patel
In this publication (Modeling paper) we are introducing a new design of a small to medium size server room. Unlike traditional system where the designs are based to stop a born fire to spread and reduce damage to the data, our system is specifically designed to prevent fire to take place on the first place. The main objective behind writing this publication is that the current system is based on fire suppression and not prevention. The other main problem faced by the massive servers is the problem of heating and electrical short circuit that causes fire and ultimately data loss. The present system uses fire extinguisher and noble gases on the flame so that the fire does not spread and stops. The use of such system threats human lives and also the cost of the expensive gases are to be considered. Read More...

Centralized Waste Segregation System
-Aiswarya M S ; Adhrisya V; Ambili C; C Veena Mohan; Jancy S
This project develops a complete automatic waste– dispose system which is very suitable for crowded cities. It employs both collection and segregation of waste. In this project, the collection part consists of specially designed waste baskets placed at road-sides in a fixed distance gap. An IR sensor pair is attached in top side of each basket and is wired with a microcontroller oriented system. Motors of waste removing conveyer belts are operated at time to time via program loaded in the microcontroller. When the IR-sensor sense, it means the basket fills and an automatic servo motor mechanism rotate the basket and put down the waste to the sub conveyer. The sub conveyer places the waste to the perpendicular main conveyer. Similarly each basket has each sub conveyers and all these moves the waste to main conveyers. The segregator part of the project is designed such that it sort the refuse into metallic, wet waste (bio-degradable) and dry (non-bio degradable) wastes. It employs parallel resonant impedance sensing mechanism to identify metallic items and capacitive sensor to distinguish between wet and dry waste. Read More...

A review on design of Aqua-silencer
-Rishikesh Acharekar ; Digvijay Bhujbal; Omkar Bhingole; Nitin Sherkar; Rohit Argade
Aqua Silencer deals with control of emission and noise in automobile exhaust which is achieved by using activated charcoal, perforated tube and outer shell. An aqua silencer is fitted to the exhaust pipe of engine. The main pollutants contributed by automobiles include CO, UBHC, NOx and Lead etc. The activated charcoal layer filters this harmful nitrous and sulphur content produced from the engine. Sound produced under water is less audible than it produced in atmosphere. This is mainly because of small sprockets in water molecules, which lowers its amplitude thus, sound level decreases. Due to this water is required in this silencer and hence its name AQUA SILENCER. Serious attempts should be made to reduce this pollutants and save our environment. Read More...

Design Development and Analysis of Reactive Type Resonator Chamber Muffler for IC Engines A Review
-Ms. Lokhande Pooja V. ; Mr. Arun M.; Mr. Parag V. Thote
Reactive silencers, which are commonly used in automotive applications, reflect the sound waves back towards the source and prevent sound from being transmitted along the pipe. Reactive silencer design is based either on the principle of a Helmholtz resonator or an expansion chamber, and requires the use of acoustic transmission line theory. Structure of current silencers involves a drawback which is essentially focused on the fact that silencers are large if they are to be acoustically effective, which in turn means that they are heavy in relation to the power of engines. More specifically, this problem is because current silencers require a large volume of air to be able to dissipate the frequencies generated by the exhaust gases from the engine. Therefore, in order to obtain a certain acoustic performance a very large and therefore very heavy silencer is required. The dimensions required for silencers are also determined by the need to maintain certain counter pressure levels. The objective of the invention is to obtain a silencer with optimal acoustic performance in relation to its size or volume, as well as a reduction in the counter pressure to the flow of gases, i.e. while at the same time reducing the noise, it also minimizes the power it takes away from the engine of the vehicle. By Mathematical modeling we will calculate dimensions of the silencer; modeling will be done in CAD modeling package, stress analysis is to be done using Finite Element Analysis. Experimental analysis will be done on prototype by application of 35 cc engine to determine noise level (dB) and validate flow rate of exhaust gases, pressure drop across silencer, temperature gradient Read More...

-Kudal Aishwarya Chandrakant ; Londhe Ashwini Vilas; Mahajan Poonam Arjun
Hand and Face gestures are important factors for human computer interaction. Compared to many existing interfaces, hand and face gestures are easy to use, natural and intuitive. Successful applications of hand gesture recognition include computer gaming, Robotics Field and sign language recognition to name a few. Vision-based recognition systems can give computers the ability of reacting on hand and face gestures. This project gives an overview of the field of hand gesture interaction with Human-Computer and describes the early stages of a project about gestural command sets. Currently we have built a first prototype for exploring the centroid based menus in gesture-based interaction. The purpose is to make task easier without actual interface with the respective device. With the ever-increasing dissemination of computers into the society, it is widely believed that present popular mode of interface with computers (mouse and keyboard) will become a bottleneck in the effective utilization of information. It has the potential to be a powerful tool sustaining well-organized and spontaneous interaction between the human and the computer. Read More...

Authenticated Traffic Control and Security
-Amritha P ; Athira A S; Hridya M.P ; Jamsheera P A
This paper presents a new design to control the speed of the automobiles at remote places for fixed time. Generally, in automobiles throttle position is controlled by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) mainly according to the one of the inputs received from the accelerator’s Pedal position sensor. But in the proposed model, instead of ECU, another Microcontroller unit receives the pedal position from the sensor and then Microcontroller unit transfers to the ECU. The Microcontroller unit is also interfaced with the wireless module that is capable of detecting any other transceiver. Now, the automobile can be controlled at the desired places when we deploy the transmitters that send data frames with fields containing maximum speed and time for which this speed limitation is to be imposed. In this system the speed of the particular zones can be set by a official by sitting in his office through GSM network the new set speed is updated to the signals. This system can also be implemented in no parking areas whenever the vehicle get parked in a no parking area driver receives a alert and if he doesn’t respond then the vehicle id will be sent to the authorities through the GSM network and the vehicle get arrested and driver has to pay the fine for retrieval of the vehicle. This system can also be implemented in Zebra crossing while vehicle approaching the zebra line if someone is ready to cross then the system will sent a alert signal to Car and the car get stopped at the zebra line for pedestrian crossing . An ultrasonic sensor is equipped in car to find the obstacle in front section and this avoid collision of the vehicle .A keypad is included in vehicle to detect theft whenever the password is typed wrong three times then an alert signal is produced through buzzer. Novelty and Its Evaluation in Recommender System
-Neha Patel ; Ashishkumar Patel
the growth of the Internet has made it much more difficult to effectively extract useful information from all the available online information. Recommender systems tend to suggest items which are both unexpected and useful to users. These items are not only profitable to the retailers but also surprisingly suitable to consumers' tastes. Due to the imbalance in observed data for popular and tail items, existing methods fail to give results with novelty. User satisfaction with recommender systems is related to how accurately the system recommends and how much it supports the user's decision making. Because being accurate is not enough, because the quality of recommendation is also important. The Recommended quality is defined to meet or exceed expectations of customer, and, the user will not only be satisfied with some of the Repeated and "not so interesting" recommendation. We studied the papers to understand how novelty can be introduced in recommendations to improve user satisfaction. Read More...

Technological evolution has made the life of human with ease, also in contrast with it there are some issues that are to be maintained to attain safety and security which is a major concern in the modern world. In this paper we have introduced a product which has an integrated system of fire detection, theft or unauthorized access protection, Gas leakage detection, water level indication and home automation. Altogether, works based on the concept of Internet of things. ATMEGA328p microcontroller is used for the control over the entire process. ESP8266 Wi-Fi module is used which can be communicated via the serial communication, which provides the internet setup to the device. This module can be operated in three modes. Mode1 - station mode, Mode 2 - access point mode, Mode 3 -combination mode. An android application is created in which the user will have a user name and password for their account, logging into it will display them the above features like fire detection, gas leakage detection, unauthorized access, water level indication and home automation as icons and the user can have their own control over the features. In case of any emergency is detected immediately the relevant emergency message is sent to the user’s mobile through internet where protective action is enabled immediately. In case of leakage of LPG above a particular threshold value, the intimation is sent to the user. The exhaust fan to suck out the harmful air outside is switched on automatically. If there is a sign of smoke or fire inside, immediately the relevant emergency message is sent to the users mobile and automatically switches on the special water supply system fitted to put off the fire. In case if someone try to enter the place of the locker intimation is send to the user, unless the user allows the access no one can't access it. If they try to open the locker or break it up one more emergency message will be sent. Here if the user switch on the shock button, a high voltage low current will pass through the locker which will never harm the person instead it makes them faint or keeps them away for some time. A feature named essentials is provided in the app where the user can have the control over their home accessories like switching on and off the fan, light and other devices from the app. If there is an overflow or scarcity of water in the water tank the message will be sent and the user can switch on or off the system. This product serves for various users of residence, apartments, hotels, malls etc. This paper empathize an integrated system that serves for multipurpose use that facilitates the life style of a person by providing safety and security it has a tremendous market value in the society. The scope of this paper covers modal analysis of structures as a vital process of structural identification. The vital dynamic parameters of a structure such as the natural frequency or modal frequency of the structure, mode shapes or the deflection shape of the structure, damping ratios and the significant effect of resonance which occurs as a result of coincidence of natural frequency of the structure with that of dynamic load the structure is subjected to are often neglected in the design of these structures .Structural Identification (St-Id) can be defined as the process of creating/updating a model of a structure based on experimental observations. It involves the determination of dynamic parameters through theoretical calculations derived from first principles, experimental procedure followed by mathematical modelling user friendly software. It lists out the significance of modal analysis and its role in structural identification of especially structures subjected to dynamic loading. Read More...
