Cloud storage is a model of data storage in which the digital data is stored in logical pools, the physical storage spans multiple servers and physical environment is managed by the hosting company. One of the major functions of cloud storage is sharing of data. In this paper, we use a new public key cryptosystem which use a constant size ciphertext. This can provide an efficient decryption mechanism. Any set of keys can be aggregated and can be made as compact as possible. The user who holds the key can release the constant size key that is aggregated for the different choices of ciphertexts within the cloud storage. Even though, the users can release those aggregate keys, the other files that are encrypted will be kept confidential. The aggregated key can be securely stored in the smart cards. Read More...

Brayton Cycle based Turbo Charging
-Jibin Jojo ; Cyril Jose Palathinkal ; Hayns Andrew Kurian ; Jojin N J; Nandu S
Traditional turbocharging systems make use of the energy carried by exhaust gases by placing a turbine-compressor arrangement in the exhaust line of the automobile. The major problem with this system is the high back-pressure developed in the engine cylinders due to the obstruction provided to the exhaust flow by the turbine blades. The back-pressure results in higher operating temperatures, higher fuel consumption and overall lower engine performance The proposed system replaces the turbine-compressor arrangement from the exhaust line and places a heat exchanger which extracts heat from the exhaust and transfers this heat to pressurized air on the other side of the heat exchanger; it is this hot pressurized air that is used to drive the turbine-compressor arrangement. Since, the arrangement does not impede the flow of the exhaust it is expected that the back pressure will decrease resulting in the overall improvement of engine efficiency. Read More...

Safety Brake using Eddy Current
-Hemant Patel ; AMIT NAITHANI; Saurabh Yadav; Sujit Gupta
Road and rail vehicles and aircraft rely mainly or solely on friction brakes. These brakes pose several problems, especially in hybrid vehicles: significant wear, fading, complex and slow actuation, lack of fail-safe features, increased fuel consumption due to power assistance, and requirement for anti-lock controls. To solve these problems, a contactless magnetic brake has been proposed. This concept includes a novel flux-shunting structure to control the excitation flux generated by permanent magnets. This brake is wear-free, less-sensitive to temperature than friction brakes, has fast and simple actuation, and has a reduced sensitivity to wheel-lock.A simple theory is proposed using Faraday's law and the Lorentz force. With this theory, magnetic braking on Aluminum disc, rotating through a magnetic field is explained. In this work an attempt is made to show that the braking of an electric drives in industries and automobiles using permanent magnets which produce energy while braking and it is a similar one to that of the existing electric regenerative braking. Also to show permanent magnetic system is a better one than existing electromagnetic brake, eddy current brake and electric brakes, etc. Read More...

Search- Based Test Data Generation for Object Oriented Programming
-Priyanka Sachdeva ; R.P. Mahapatra; A.Kulothungan; Pratibha Dabas
Test-data generation for object-oriented programming (OOP) is challenging due to the features of OOP, e.g., abstraction, encapsulation, and visibility that prevent direct access to some parts of the source code. To address this problem we present a new automated search-based software test-data generation approach that achieves high code coverage for the source code and reduces the search space. For that we first describe the test-data generation problem for object oriented testing to generate relevant sequences of method calls. In this paper, proposed technique uses means-of-instantiation, diversification strategy and seeding strategy for object oriented generation and sequence caller for search space reduction. Finally, we show that our technique is more efficient than the randomized technique as it reduces the search space better than the randomized one. It also uses a seeding strategy and a diversification strategy to increase the likelihood to reach a test target. Read More...

Impulsive Noise Removal from Speech Signals using Rank Order Mean
-Vijay Laxmi Shukla ; Mr. Atul Sinha
In this Paper represent the impulsive noise Removal speech using rank order mean. Speech is a very rudimentary way for persons to transport information to one additional with a bandwidth of only 4 kHz; speech can convey information with the feeling of a humanoid voice. The language indication has convinced properties: It is a one-dimensional signal, with time as its self-governing variable, it is chance in countryside, it is non-stationary, and i.e. the frequency spectrum is not continuous in time. Though humanoid existences have an audible frequency range of 20Hz to 20 kHz, the humanoid speech has important occurrence components only up to 4 kHz. In this work a method for removal of impulse noise from the speech signal using Rank Order Mean is proposed. The rank order differentiation is applied to input signal to estimate the time occurrence of impulsive noise. Then rank order mean is used for replacing the noisy samples to get the noise free signal. The above described technique shows improvement in terms of Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) w. r. t to the existing techniques. Noise cancellation is the process of removing background sound from language sign. The squalor of speech due to presence of contextual noise and several other noises reason problems in various sign processing errands like speech credit, speaker recognition, and speaker verification etc. Numerous methods have been extensively used to remove noise from speech signal like linear and nonlinear filtering methods, adaptive noise annulment, total difference demising etc. This paper addresses the problem of reducing the impulsive sound in talking signal using compressive sensing method. The results are compared against three well known speech improvement means, spectral deduction, Total difference denoising and signal dependent rank order mean algorithm. Read More...

User Authentication Scheme using Session Passwords based on Color and Numerical Matrix
-Sanidhya Tandon ; Raghvendra Singh; Shubham Sonkar
User authentication is one of the principal topics in information security. Traditional strong password schemes could provide with certain degree of security; however, strong passwords being difficult to memorize often leads their owners to write them down on papers or even save them in a computer file. As a result, security becomes greatly weakened. Textual passwords are the most common method used for authentication. But textual passwords are vulnerable to eves dropping, dictionary attacks, social engineering and shoulder surfing. Graphical passwords are introduced as an alternative technique to textual passwords. Most of the graphical schemes are vulnerable to shoulder surfing. To address this problem, text can be combined with images or colors to generate session passwords for authentication. Multiple colors or images are used to confuse the peepers, while not burdening the legitimate users. Meanwhile, the scheme is resistant to shoulder surfing and intersection attack to a certain extent. Session passwords can be used only once and every time a new password is generated. In this paper, two techniques are proposed to generate session passwords using text and colors which are resistant to shoulder surfing. These methods are suitable for Personal Digital Assistants. -Shubham Rangari ; Sunnyraj Katam; Sameer Bansod; Praharsh Marathe; Suraj Nagrare
Refrigeration is the process of maintaining a temperature of a system lower than the temperature of surrounding by continous removal of heat. Refrigeration is the method used to cool the space around us to a particular temperature and to freeze water into ice. Based on the application we can use refrigeration to create large amount of ice with minimum consumption of energy. Ice plant is based on the simple refrigeration system which uses vapour compression refrigeration cycle and by using this we are analysing and fabricating the ice plant. The conventional ice plant uses the R-22 refrigerant which is ozone depleting refrigerant it is harmful to our environment and finally leads to degradation of our ozone layer. The environmental impacts like global warming and ozone depletion has become a challenge to the refrigeration industry. Chloro Fluoro Carbons (CFCs) and Hydro Flouro Carbons (HCFCs) are referred to as an Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) because once these gases are released into the environment and reach the stratosphere, depletes the ozone layer. A detailed experimentation was carried out to analyse the performance of the system using R-404A refrigerant. The refrigerant R404a is an alternate refrigerant to CFCs and HCFCs as they are ozone friendly and have less Global Warming Potential (GWP) than R12 and R134a. In this paper, R404a can be a potential HFC refrigerant replacement for new and existing system presently using R22 with minimum investment and efforts. Read More...

Distributed denial of service attack is a type of active attack, which causes serious threats to internet. It blocks the sever system by exploiting the resources, so that the server gets overloaded and legitimate users become unavailable to access the services from server. With the growth in technology, the DDoS attackers have improved their sophistication, by automating the attacks. The attackers create the DDoS attack by exploiting the protocol vulnerabilities. The detection of DDoS attack is little bit difficult since they mix with the legitimate packet traffic. The proposed model makes use of Hidden Semi Markov Model (HSMM), an extended version of Hidden Markov Model (HMM). Arrival rate, Service rate and Retransmission Time Out value are considered as the benchmark for differentiating the normal and attacking packets. Read More...

A Novel Approach for Improving the Power Efficient and Metastability Resistant Resilient Circuit
-D.Maheswari ; P.Nagarajan; C.M.Kalaiselvi; C.Dhivya
In this paper, a meta stability resistant caution flipflop (FF) is proposed, which consists of an edge detector, a caution window generator, and a caution detector along with a timing error resilient flip-flop. The delayed data are monitored during the caution window to flag a warning signal before the data enter the erroneous zone. In this scheme, the caution window is independent of input clock frequency and hence is suitable for frequency scaling application. The proposed flip-flop design routinely corrects timing errors and therefore minimizes the performance degradation due to variations. Read More...

Concrete filled steel tubular column is currently being widely used in the construction of modern buildings and bridges. Concrete filled steel tubular column resisting the lateral force when suddenly earthquake occurs. On the other side, cost of concrete is attributed to the cost of its ingredients which is scarce and expensive, this leading to usage of economically alternative materials in its production. This requirement is drawn the attention of investigators to explore new replacements of ingredients of concrete. This paper deals with the behaviour and performance of partial and fully replaced GGBS filled steel tubular column under uniaxial loading condition. The present paper focuses on investigating characteristics of M40 grade concrete with partial replacement of cement with ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) by replacing cement via 0%, 50%, 100% and alkaline liquids are used for the binding of materials. The alkaline liquids are Sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate. The external diameter of the steel tubular column is 100mm , thickness of the steel tube is 3.5mm and height of the steel tubular column is 600mm. Therefore the results revealed that in 50% replacement of cement by GGBS the load carrying is high and deflection is less when compare to 0% and 100% replacement. Read More...

-Sunilkumar D Vala ; Mr. K.K.Mehta; Dr. N.S.Mehta
This paper justifies the effect of filling ratio on the closed loop oscillating heat pipe performance. An experimental investigation has been carried out on the thermal performance of the CLOHP with different filling ratio for water based CuO nanofluid. The thermal performance of the device has been investigated with varying heat power in the range of 30–150W in the vertical orientation. The overall thermal resistance and heat rejected by CLOHP are evaluated to predict the thermal performance of the device. Experimental results show that the CLPHPs filled with 30% filling ratio shows better performance for lower heat loads and 50% filling ratio shows better performance for higher heat loads. While the 70% filling ratio shows poor performance for all heat loads compared to 50% and 30%. Read More...

-Radha Shirbhate ; Varsha Mahajan; Swati Wadghule; Arifa Mulani
Incident discovery in video is a investigate vicinity which attempts to build up a computer system with the capability to robotically read the video and locate the happening from images. Now a day there is a huge demand to find the Event depending on motion relativity and feature selection. In this paper, we propose our predictive based on movement relativity and feature selection for video incident discovery. Furthermost, we recommend a new movement feature, namely The concept of Expanded Relative Motion Histogram of Bag-of-Visual-Words (ERMH-BoW) is used for motion relativity and event detection. In ERMH-BoW, by representing what aspect of an event detection with Bag-of-Visual-Words(BoW), we construct relative motion histograms between different visual words to show the objects activities or how aspect of the event. ERMH-BoW thus integrates both what and how aspects for a absolute event description. Meanwhile, we show that by employing motion relativity, it is invariant to the varying camera movement and able to honestly describe the object activities in an event. We further propose a approach based on information gain and in formativeness weighting to select a cleaner. Our experiments are carried out on several challenging datasets provided by TRECVID for the MED (Multimedia Event Detection) task. It demonstrate that our proposed approach outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches for video event detection. Read More...

-Santosh Kumar Kasaudhan ; Shubham Saxena; Varun Upadhyay; Lucknesh Kumar
As in the running world, there is a lot of demand for the software systems to recognize characters and words in computer system when information is scanned through paper documents as we know that we have number of newspapers and books which are in printed format related to different subjects. These days there is a huge demand in “storing the information available in these paper documents in to a computer storage disk and then later reusing this information by searching processâ€. Compared to various existing available character recognition systems it improves the accuracy of recognizing the characters during document processing. Since our character recognition is based on a grid infrastructure, heterogeneous characters of different universal languages with different font properties and alignments are recognized easily. We proposed a novel algorithm in this paper to extract text/characters from a scanned image using neural networks by using a method for combining independently trained networks to achieve higher performance. Proposed system consists of the following steps 1) Image Processing 2) Image Training 3) Image Recognition 4) Image Editing and 5) Image Searching. In our paper it is shown that, the proposed system is better than the existing systems and try to improve the efficiency and accuracy of recognizing the characters from a scanned image. Read More...

Emission Analysis of Diesel Engine for Tyre Pyrolysis Oil & Diesel Blend
-Ajay Ganvit ; Dr.Tushar M. Patel; Saumil C. Patel; Prajesh M. Patel
Reduction of biological fuel resources and stringent environmental laws have forced researchers to develop methods to sustainingly manage resources. The focus has been shifting towards energy recovery from waste materials which can solve the problems. One of the biggest wastes in the automobile sector is automobile tires. These have an unfavorable impact on the atmosphere if they are not disposed properly. Further, tires are a source of energy so it’s not suitable disposal means wastage of energy. Some methods have been developed to extract energy from waste tires. One of them is pyrolysis of tires which produces Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO) by thermal decomposition of tires. The properties of TPO with diesel were analyzed and compared with diesel and found that it is also used as a fuel in diesel engines. Tests are carried out on a diesel engine running with dissimilar blends of TPO 15% on a volume basis. The value of the Taguchi identifies that compression ratio 18, injection pressure 160 bar and engine load 9 kg are optimum parameters for lowest specific fuel consumption. Engine performance is mostly influenced by engine load and is least influenced by injection pressure. Read More...

LEAP for DEAF : A Sign Language to speech translator
-Kadam Bhushan Ravindra ; Kadam Bhushan Ravindra; Supekar Komal Kalidas; Chikhale Harshad Kailas; Salve Priyanka Balasaheb
Sign language is vital for facilitating communication between hearing impaired and the rest of society. Researchers in Sign language recognition had tailored completely different sensors to capture hand signs. Gloves, digital cameras, depth cameras and Kinect were used instead in most systems. Owing to signs closeness ,input accuracy is a terribly essential constraint to achieve a high recognition accuracy. Our aim is to design a Sign Language to Speech Translation system for ISL(i.e. Indian Sign Language) based on a brand new digital 3D motion detector referred to as Leap Motion, that consists of two inbuilt cameras and three infrared sensors that capture 3-D dynamic hand gestures. The palm-sized Leap Motion sensor provides far more portable and economical solution than Cyber glove or Microsoft Kinect employed in existing studies . This sensor tackles the major issues in vision-based systems like skin color, lighting etc... The planned system will make use of DTW algorithm as a classifier for converting hand gestures into an appropriate text as well as an audible speech. Read More...
