Certifying Truthfulness Using A Light-Weight Security System In Clustered Wireless Sensor Networks
-ASHIN LEO A B ; ANUSHA B
Wireless Sensor Networks are deployed in an area where the humans are not able to access, security becomes more important because they are prone to many types of attacks. WSNs are more susceptible to attacks mainly due to the nature of their deployment and the mode of communication. The proposed model is a light weight security scheme capable of maintaining all the security features such as confidentiality, integrity and protection against replay attack. The proposed model aims to prevent replay attack and provides integrity within the network by sending query to every phase of communication. To provide replay attack protection, an extended model known as MSQPS (Modified Secure Query Processing Scheme) is used. In MSQPS, once the network starts to process a query no new node can join the network until the query is processed. MSQPS provides security to the stored data in nodes and the communication among the nodes. The limitation is that the probability of attacking cluster head and the member nodes is higher than attacking the base station. In all communication between the cluster heads and member nodes the key is neither transmitted nor pre-deployed. It protects the replay attack and provides the basic security features such as the confidentiality and integrity. The performance of the scheme is evaluated through data freshness, authentication rate and packet delivery ratio and so it provides better integrity level. Read More...

Enhancement of Performance of Photo Voltaic Cell Using Methanol
-Sathish Sharma G ; Prof. S. Parimala Murugaveni
A solar photo voltaic thermal (PV/T) system is considered, PV/T is a system of integrating photovoltaic cell and thermal collector in a single equipment. There is a drop in electrical efficiency with respect to increasing in temperature of photovoltaic (PV) module. There will be 0.5% efficiency drop for every 1°c raise after reaching the maximum allowable temperature. In order to overcome this drop in efficiency the temperature of PV panel will be reduced by cooling the PV panel with help of working fluid (water + methanol). A PV module of 0.35m x 0.15m is considered for investigation. The absorber collecting plate is made up of pure copper. The copper tube of cross-section of circular tube with 10mm and 12mm of inner and outer diameter respectively is considered. The length of tube is 3.85.a theoretical model was developed and solved to obtain the overall heat gain and over all combined efficiency of PV module by energy balance equation. The results obtained from theoretical module shows that over all heat gain and maximum thermal efficiency obtained by using (water + methanol) is more than conventional based fluid. The maximum thermal efficiency and maximum electrical efficiency was obtained. Read More...

Power debauchery due to memories has become a major distress of current digital design. The proposed system to fabricate an advanced STM-16 using the GDI (Gate Diffusion Input) technology in the method. The STMs are constructed hierarchically with a nested structure. When trade with the data for high-speed digital forces, a nested level of four is essential for each STM; that is, the lowest level of container, virtual container, administrative unit (AU), AU group, and STM. GDI is a new technique of low power digital circuit design is described. This technique allows falling power consumption, delay and area of digital circuits, while maintaining low involvedness of logic design. Recital evaluation with traditional CMOS and various PTL design techniques is presented, with respect to the layout area, number of devices, delay and power dissipation, showing advantages and drawbacks of GDI as compared to other methods. A variety of logic gates have been design in 0.35 μm technology to compare the GDI technique with CMOS and PTL. Read More...

A proposed model for Online Solution for APMC
-Chaitra Patil ; Chaitanya Chandake; Santoshi S Jewargi; Vanajakshi Mulimani; Kuldeep Sambrekar
Agricultural Produce Market Committee ensures that farmers are not exploited by intermediaries who compel farmers to sell their produce at the farm gate for an extremely low price. All food produce should first be brought to a market yard and then sold through auction. Over a period of time, these markets have acquired the status of restrictive and Monopolistic markets, harming the farmers rather than helping them to realize remunerative prices. We need to develop an application to ensure transparency between farmers and merchants. In this regards this application will provide the important information about agricultural products to merchants and updates of rates of the grains. This application is centralized as farmers can interact with APMC directly with this application in main hub. Farmers can also get updated rates and merchant information in this application. Most of the time farmer cannot contact to merchants directly to sell their products. They contact to middle men which leads to loss. This application provides direct communication between farmer and merchant. Read More...

A Novel Image Transmission Technique via MIS using an Advanced AES Algorithm with Chaotic map for Enhanced Security
-Athira Leeladharan ; A.S.Vibith
There are several image transmission techniques implemented in the recent world. But there are many compromises in them. Steganography and cryptography are the two main areas of secure data and multimedia transmissions. Here, a secure image transmission technique is introduced using the concept of Mosaic Image Steganography. In this technique we have two images, one being the secret image and the other being the target image. On the sender side the secret image is converted into a mosaic image. The mosaic image generated looks exactly like the pre-selected target image. This image is used as a camouflage of the secret image. It is generated by dividing the secret image and target image into fragments where each fragment of a secret image is called tile image and each fragment of a target image is called target block. Then we transform the color characteristics of the tile to those of the corresponding target block. Next, we embed the recovery information which is a bit steam into the created mosaic image using an improved LSB substitution technique with integer transformation. Before performing this step, we encrypt the recovery information with a secret key. The receiver uses the same key for decryption. To enhance security we encrypt the recovery information with an advanced AES algorithm using chaotic maps. The receiver first extracts the recovery information from the mosaic image using this key and then recovers the secret image using the recovery information. Read More...

The Security and Efficiency in Attribute-Based Data Sharing
-Mr.Bhaskar Swapnil Appasaheb ; Mr. Gadhe Nilesh Baban
In the recent data sharing paradigm there have been need for data security in distributed systems such as online social networks, One of the most dangerous issues in data sharing systems is the access policies. Cipher text policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) is solution for this issue use cryptography. The senders to define their own access policies using attributes and enforce the policies on data to be distributed. However, a key escrow problem is a major drawback in existing system. In our contribution we solve key escrow problem. The key generation center generating their private keys and decrypt any messages addressed to specific users. This is not suitable for data sharing system where the data owner make their private data only accessible to authorized users. Therefore by applying CP-ABE in the data sharing system introduce another challenge with regard to the user revocation hence the access policies are defined over the attribute universe. In this paper, we propose a advance Cipher text Policy-ABE scheme for a data sharing system by using the characteristic of the system architecture. The proposed scheme gives the following advantages: 1) the key escrow problem can be solved by escrow-free key issuing protocol, the secure two-party computation between the key generation center and the data-storing center is performed, and 2) Due to proxy encryption, the selective attribute group key distribution is the main function of the ABE. Review on Wideband Power Amplifier With for Plasma Application
-Palak J Soni ; Priyanka Shah; R B Patel
Radio Frequency power amplifiers (RF PA) are widely used for several applications e.g. wireless communication, wireless power transmission (WPT) and radio frequency heating. HF band (3~30MHz) has been widely used in many communication and other systems, in military and civil applications. Generally the circuit design in this band is not a challenge; however this is not the case in some circuits, especially in the case of power amplifier design. The RF devices play a key role in design of power amplifier. In addition, HF frequency is used in many Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) applications. As an example, HF frequency is widely used in plasma generation and heating systems in various applications. LDMOS devices are widely used for power amplifier design and development. Plasma load need to be heated to get desire temperature from RF source. For proper heating of plasma power amplifier plays major role so for plasma application we need highly efficient power amplifier and class-c amplifier offers high efficiency with simple topology, leading to optimal costs of production and system operation therefore this paper gives review for implementation of a high efficiency with high output power of 1.5kw 3-30MHz wideband class-c power amplifier is done for plasma application. Utilization of Recycle Aggregate in Cement Concrete Paver Blocks for Heavy Traffic
-Pushpendra Patel ; Dr. Gyanendra Singh
Concrete paver blocks are versatile, attractive, cost effective and functional, blocks for construction of pavement if paver blocks are correctly manufactured and laid then paver blocks required very less maintenance. In India as per Indian standard paver blocks can be used for roadways. Paver blocks is divided in different traffic categories by Indian standard i.e. very heavy traffic, non-traffic, Light-traffic, medium traffic and heavy-traffic. Wastes of demolished building is generally used in landfills, these waste contain waste of bricks and concrete. These demolished building wastes which is also known as recycle aggregates are increasing gradually, Many engineers are working on these wastes to make it effectively useable. One of best uses of this waste is to use it as a coarse aggregate in concrete. In this project coarse aggregate is replaced by recycle aggregate which contain wastes of concrete from demolished i.e. wastes from beam, column and slab upto 100% at an interval of 10% in M 50 concrete of paver blocks for heavy traffic. Recycle aggregate which passes from 10mm IS sieve and retained on 4.75mm IS sieve was used. For this project test like compressive strength and flexural test was performed on paver blocks and to evaluate workability of fresh concrete slump cone test was performed. The study indicated that compressive strength, flexural strength and workability of concrete is required but aggregate enough to be used as paver blocks for heavy traffic. Read More...

Seismic Fragility Analysis of FRP Retrofitted Soft Story Buildings
-Danish Khan ; Ram Kishor Yadav
This study gives fragility analysis of masonry infill soft storey frames retrofitted with various types of fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) sheets. Soft storey buildings with first storey free from infill are common choice of multi storey building in India. These type of buildings, due to their abrupt discontinuity in first storey, are known to perform poorly during earthquake. In particular, the columns of soft storey buildings undergo large inelastic deformations under earthquake hence leading to collapse of whole building. The first storey columns of soft storey buildings are retrofitted by confining columns with FRP sheets. Various types of FRP sheets are used for confining column and building models are analyzed using nonlinear static analysis. The confining effect of FRP leads to increased stiffness, strength as well as ductility which results in better performance under earthquake loads. The assessment of performance is done using fragility analysis which is a probability based method of analysis. The result shows that confinement of columns with FRP effectively reduces the probability of collapse of soft storey buildings. Read More...

Performance and Emission Characteristics of Di Diesel Engine Fuelled With Camphor Oil-Diesel Blends
-S.Vignesh ; S.M.Sivagami
In recent years, the usage of vehicles have been increased and this leads to the demand for fossil fuels. It has become an urgent need to carry out the research work on alternate source of energy to reduce the demand of fossil fuels and also to reduce the emission. Biofuel is one of the alternative sources of energy. The aim of the paper is to blend the camphor oil with diesel fuel at various proportions by volume. The camphor oil is directly blended with diesel fuel without any trans-esterification process, because of its low viscous property. The prepared blends were tested in a single cylinder DI Diesel engine at various load running at constant engine speed of 1500 RPM and coupled to eddy current dynamometer. Finally the observed performance and emission value of these blends were compared with pure diesel fuel operations. Among the results, the B15 blends gives better performance compared to B20 & diesel based on BTE. The B15 blends gives BTE (34%), B20 (BTE 32.95%) and diesel (BTE 31.5%) at full load conditions. The B20 blends emit 676 ppm of NOX, while diesel emits 617 ppm of NOX. Read More...

Current biodiesel production technologies are not sufficient to produce biodiesel for replacement of diesel entirely. Biodiesel and alcohol may be used in small proportions along with diesel to reduce dependency on diesel. The aim is to study the performance and emission characteristics of diesel-biodiesel-alcohol blends. The blends are chosen with diesel at major proportion to reflect practical conditions. Diesel is blended with animal fat derived biodiesel and alcohol additives such as methanol and ethanol. The engine performance test was carried out and the parameters like brake power, brake thermal efficiency, mechanical efficiency, brake specific fuel consumption and emission characteristics like HC, NOx, CO, CO2 emissions were determined for pure diesel and for the blends. The results indicate that biodiesel-alcohol at low proportions blended with diesel show similar characteristics of performance and emissions as that of neat diesel. Read More...

Central Tyre Air Inflation System
-Sagar Adakmol ; Tushar Shende; Dikshit Poriya; Sanjot Fotedar
Roads are the most important modes of transport now a days & cars are integral part of it. Tyres lose air through normal driving-especially when run through pot holes & permeation. Moreover temperature changes (seasonal) are also one of the reason due to which tyres lose air. Thus vehicles run with an under-inflated tyre which may cause accidents. Studies show that a drop in tire pressure by just a few PSI can result in the reduction of gas mileage, tire life, safety, and vehicle performance. This project aims to develop an automatic, self-inflating tire system. Such a system ensures that tires are properly inflated at all times. Our project design is successfully tested and implemented with the help of centralized compressor. The compressor will supply air to all four tires via hoses and a rotary joint fixed between the wheel spindle and wheel hub at each wheel. The Rotary joint is an integral component of the system-which has half of its part rotating with the wheel & rest half part is stationary. The rotary joints effectively allow air to be channelled to the tires. Thus the rotary joint facilitates untangling of hoses. Considering today’s ever increasing environmental threats; oil price hikes & energy consumption our system is most compatible and potential improvement in gas mileage & tyre wear reduction which leads to an increase in performance of Tyre in Diverse Conditions. -NIRZARI K. UPASANI ; PROF. J.B.JETHAVA
It is a challenging problem to design the self-adaption, self-organization and self-configuration routing protocols for Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). Ant colony routing (ACR) is a family of distributed bionic routing protocols based on swarm intelligence. In the mobile Ad Hoc network, due to the node's signal uncertainty, limited energy and mobility, the conventional routing is no longer applicable. In order to solve this problem, we will use Cross Layer approach for Routing Algorithm Based on ACO, which combines mobile agent and ant colony optimization technology. Our proposed strategy will find the link layer, network layer and application layer information actively to achieve optimization routing in a large scale mobile Ad Hoc network. Read More...

Impact of Free Space path (FSPL) loss suffered by FSO System under different transmission distance at different wavelengths
-SALWINDER SINGH ; GOBINDER SINGH; KIRAN BALA
In this paper impact of free space path loss (FSPL) on FSO channel has been investigated under different wavelengths (780nm, 800nm, 850nm, 1500nm, 1550nm & 1590nm) by varying transmission distance from 1km to 40km and 1m to 8800m. Since FSO systems operate between two wavelength ranges such as 750-850nm and 1500-1600nm. Results show that as transmission distance increases, FSPL also increases but when wavelength increases the value of the FSPL decreases. Further results show that maximum FSPL is observed at 750nm for both case clear weather (40Km) and haze weather (8800m) and minimum FSPL is observed at 1590nm for a transmission distance of 1m. So 1500 to 1590nm wavelength range is preferred for FSO communication systems. Thus Free space path loss has a very significant impact on FSO communication. Read More...

Review of Multicasting Techniques in Manets
-Harmandeep Kaur ; Jabarweer singh
MANETs are made up of mobile nodes that dynamically form network and disseminate the information throughout the network. Each node act as both router and a host. There are several challenges in MANETs like routing, speed scalability, dynamic network topology, QoS, Security, Network Overhead, Energy efficiency etc. Routing is classified into two categories i.e. unicast routing and multicast routing. The multicast routing is the very challenging task because multicasting requires the information to be transmitted from source to multiple destinations all at once. There are several multicasting protocols evolved to perform multicasting such as AODV, MAODV, AM Route, CAMP etc. In this paper, some multicasting protocols are reviewed. Read More...

Cloud computing is the dynamic delivery of information technology resources and capabilities as a service over the Internet. Cloud computing is a style of computing in which dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources are provided as a service over the Internet. Virtualization is the core concept supported in the cloud computing. Resources are provided to the cloud users in a virtualized manner. Cloud providers are maintaining the user's data in cloud environment. The data which is stored in the provider's server could cause security and privacy issue in cloud storage. Lots of research is going on to provide security to the user's data. Leakage of user's conï¬dential information stored in the database can cause disaster; hence there is a need of extra layer of security for the conï¬dential information. Since the database is stored in a third party server, there is a need to prevent the exposure of information to the datacenter owner. -Mahendihasan A Kadiwala ; Dr. Bhavik N Suthar; Dr. Mahipalsinh C Chudasama
Now a day’s power system operate closer and closer to their limits. So it makes instability in the system more probable. Due to some uncertain conditions synchronism of machines connected in system might be loss and it leads to the transient instability. Therefore Preventive control or remedial actions for transient stability enhancement should be taken if dangerous instability is detected. Assessment of transient stability of the system with considering the contingencies has to be done. Transient stability of the unhealthy system is assessed using direct approach from rotor angle of synchronous machine. For assessment the value of relative rotor angles in pre-fault, in-fault & post-fault condition has been derived. For this test two different systems (6 bus system & IEEE 39 New England system) are considered. For 6 bus system CCT (critical clearing time) analyzed for single contingency. For 39 bus system multi contingency considered. Read More...

Vapour Absorption System (VAS) Assisted Air Cooler
-Yogesh Sunil Nawale ; Prasad Dilip Phad; Sanket Bharat Waman; Jayram Pundlik Tuwar
In this paper we have considered use of Vapour Absorption System in conventional Air Cooler. The aim of our project is to minimize the power requirement and also increase cooling effect by using VAS system. As the power required for running an air conditioning is very high so everyone is not able to afford air conditioning. The function of domestic Vapour Compression Cycle (VCC) assisted Air cooler is of sensible cooling and humidification. As the VCC cycle consists of compressor, so the power required for the operation is large. In the VAS system, there are no moving parts like the compressor in VCC system. So the power required is reduced and also maintenance cost is reduced due to no wear and tear. The evaporator of the VAS will be used as the heat exchanger with Air cooler so that the water will be cooled more as per the simple Air cooler. As we are using VAS and Air cooler in combination so the advantages of both the system can be used effectively. Read More...
