Secure Mining of Association Rules in Horizontally Distributed Databases
-Pratik Mendre ; Sagar Pokharkar; Sukhada Vavhal; Shivanand Patil
We suggest a protocol for secure mining of association rules in horizontally distributed databases. The existing primary protocol is that of Kantarcioglu and Clifton [1]. Our protocol, like theirs, is rely on the Fast Distributed Mining (FDM) algorithm of Cheungetal, which is not a secured distributed version of the Apriori algorithm. The major ingredients in our protocol are two novel safe multi-party algorithms—one that calculates the combination of private subsets that each of the interacting players have, and another that tests the insertion of an element contained by one player in a subset contained by another. Our protocol offers enhanced privacy with respect to the protocol in [1]. In count, it is simpler and is signiï¬cantly more effective in terms of interaction rounds, communication charge and computational cost. Data mining techniques are used to discover patterns in huge databases of information. But sometimes these patterns can disclose susceptible information about the data holder or persons whose information are the subject of the patterns. The idea of privacy-preserving data mining is to recognize and prohibit such revelations as evident in the kinds of patterns learned using traditional data mining techniques.[5]. Read More...

The Enhancement of DSDV with ACO Approach Technique
-Harmeet Kaur ; Maninder Singh
Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) are accumulation of mobile nodes they are dynamically forming a temporary network without the guide of any infrastructure and centralized control. All the routing data are managed by node itself. Routing in MANET depends upon intermediate nodes. Main source of power for nodes are batteries in the MANETs. Nodes consume power mainly because of transmission of packets and receiving of packets and mobility etc. If a mobile node fails due to failure of power, then this will not only affects the node but additionally its capacity to forward packets on behalf of others and hence overall network lifetime. The mobile nodes are powered by batteries, so to replace or recharge them is not possible. In this paper we proposed DSDV-ACO which consumes less energy and give better throughput as compare to DSDV. Here we used the concept of MBCR (Minimum Battery Cost Routing) which uses the nodes which have sufficient energy to expand the lifetime of the network. Read More...

Experimental Evaluation of Optimum Performance Parameters for Burnishing of Spur Gear
-Ninad Dombre ; Rushikesh vibhute; Ashutosh Kannawar; Prashant Karande; Prof. Milind Kulkarni
Out of the many available processes for surface finishing like honing, lapping, shaving, grinding the most economic and effective process is burnishing. Burnishing does not remove material from the work piece, it simply takes the material from the peaks and fills it into the valleys. Thereby reducing the average height of micro peaks and valleys present on the surface. This is exactly what reduces the average surface roughness of the burnished surface. This paper studies the burnishing process for gears. An experimental setup for burnishing of gears has been developed. Using the setup, gears of 50 mm diameter and 2.5 mm module were burnished. While burnishing the gears, the burnishing motor speed and the time of burnishing was varied, effect of variation of these two parameters on burnishing process has been studied in this paper. The optimum parameters for burnishing of spur gears obtained through experimentation have been put forth. Read More...

Real-time Fire Detection for Video Surveillance Applications using Multi Experts System.(FULL)
-Sanket R.Salve ; Siddhant S. Shinde; Sayali P. Patil; Vikas B.Shelke
In this proposed system the method able to detect ï¬re by analyzing the Videos acquired by surveillance cameras is introduced. Two main novelties have been introduced ï¬rst, complementary Information, respectively based on colour, shape variation and Motion analysis, are combined by a multi expert system. Second, a novel descriptor based on a bag-of-words approach has been proposed for representing motion. The previous systems were developed but the results were not much signiï¬cant as they were having their own limitations. Some of them were working on colour while some on shape or motion hence they had own drawbacks. Our system will try to overcome those as we are proposing the system that will have a separate module for shape variation, a module for colour evaluation and a module for motion evaluation. The multi expert based system takes the input of all this modules and then the decisions taken by the experts are combined by a MES (multi expert system) classiï¬er based on a weighted voting rule, which ï¬nally assigns a class to each blob. The Main advantage deriving from this approach lies in the fact that the overall performance of the system can be signiï¬cantly increases with a relatively small effort. Read More...

-Deepali Ghongade ; Harshita Singh; Aniket Gulhane; Vishvesh Karwa
Advancement in wireless technology and other communication techniques have made the electronic commerce very popular. In this paper, we are going to discuss about using RFID technology in shopping cart. The main goal is to assist a person in terms of reduced time spent while purchasing a product. While shopping customer will add product one by one in trolley. After that much time is consumed at the billing counters when customers have to pay the bills. Now-a-days, shopping malls are using barcode scanners at billing counters in order to scan the product and create the final bill. But because of using barcode scanners customers have to wait in the lines especially when there is rush in malls. -Umadevi Shankar Gupta ; Shrutika Kesarkar; Sudhakar Jadhav
In this era security is the most important concern in every aspect. And at the same time technology is getting integrated for the same. This has also left Automobile industry untouched. In today’s world nearly every person owns a vehicle. And with a big monitory investment comes a need of a reliable security. This has led to the development of the system to track the theft or prevent the theft of two wheeler vehicles. The system has a GPS and GSM module that alerts the user of theft probability through SMS and call. But the system is only designed for Android OS i.e. for smart phone users and interaction is only limited to user. Which arises a loophole. I.E. if the phone is switched off, user will be unaware of his vehicle’s security. The proposed system overcomes this by involving a system that will be controlled by Police as well as users of feature phones. Also the system includes a sensor which will measure the distance between the object and the surface to prevent the vehicle theft by lifting. Read More...

A Review on Dynamic Consolidation of Virtual Machines for Effective Utilization of Resources and Energy Efficiency in Cloud
-Mr. Abhinav S. Thorat ; Mr. Shrinivas K. Sonkar
In cloud data centers dynamic consolidation of virtual machines (VMs) is the efficient and most effective way to improve the utilization of energy efficiency and resources. The important thing is when it is to reallocate the VMs from an overloaded host is the main aspect of dynamic consolidation of VM that can influence directly on to the resource utilization and quality of service (QoS) of the system. Shortages of resources and performance degradation of applications problems are faced due to server overloading that can influence on the QoS. Host overload detection problem is generally heuristic based and can be solved using statistical analysis of historical data. But these approaches leads to suboptimal results and influenced on QoS goal. This novel approach can solve the problem of host overload detection using the different algorithms and techniques. This paper gives a review on a dynamic consolidation of virtual machines for effective utilization of resources and energy efficiency in the cloud environment. Read More...

A Secure Authorized Deduplication Scheme in Cloud Storage Environment
-Arpitha M S
The traditional system has witnessed the trend of influencing cloud-based services for a large amount of data storage, processing, and distribution. Security and privacy are among top concerns for the public cloud environments. For these security challenges, it introduces a new client-side deduplication scheme for securely storing and sharing uploaded data via the public cloud. The main purpose of this proposed system has two-part. First, it provides data confidentiality towards unauthorized users. That is, every member computes a key per data to encrypt the original data that should be stored in a cloud. As such, the file data access is managed by the owner of the data. Second, by indicating access rights in the private server, an authorized user can decrypt an encrypted file data only with his private key. Read More...

PFC for Buck-Boost Converter Fed Sensor less BLDC Motor Drive with Speed Control
-Rukhaiah ; Dr.Shobha.R. Savanur
Brushless DC (BLDC) motor drives have gained much popularity and are widely used in industrial and traction application. They are more superior because of their high power to weight ratio, low maintenance, high-efficiency, high flux density per unit volume. They are generally preferred over brushed DC motors for several other applications. This proposed approach presents BLDC motor drive without sensors for low power applications. A PFC (Power Factor Corrected) BL (Bridgeless) buck-boost converter is operated in DICM (Discontinuous Inductor Current Mode) to supply a unity Power issue at AC mains. In case of sensorless motors the control of the motor will be achieved by monitoring the back EMF zero crossing as a feedback. The concept of BLDC motor is well simulated in MATLAB/Simulink atmosphere. Read More...

Review Paper on Development of Forgeries Digital Images by using Illumination Color Classification
-Ajeet Kumar ; MS. P. V. Gawande
Interruptation or manipulation in the digital photographs becomes a common problem in multimedia communication. Interrupted digital images can be rectified with the illuminaton color classification method. Over the years, photographs have been used as document of events as well as proof in legal proceedings. Although some of photographers are able to manipulate the images and make composites of original images, this process requires expert knowledge and demands lot of time. In today’s world, a lot of skillfully developed image editing software’s are available which makes image manipulation and modifications an easy task. This reduces trust in photographs and presents an open question on authenticity of images and photographs. This paper, aims at focusing on the most common forms of image manipulation, which is called as image splicing. Here we propose a forgery detection method which uses inconsistencies in illumination of images. For achieving this, we make use of physics and statistics based illuminant estimators. These illuminant estimates are used to extract features which are then given to a machine-learning technique which supports us in decision-making. Read More...

Prosody Classification: Confirmation to Prosody Conversion
-Priyanka Dhawale ; Pallavi Despande
Prosody classification is one of the challenging tasks in prosody conversion. To determine whether we can convert the prosody or not, prosody classifications is main task. If we can classify the prosody, then it’s sure we can convert the prosody. In this paper, we focused on the classification of prosody. We demonstrated the approach of classifying the prosody using the multi-class support vector machine. In first part, we considered spectral as well as prosodic features for classification. In second part, we considered only prosodic features. In second part, the classification accuracy is more. In SVM, we used the combination of RBF (radial basis function) and polynomial kernel function which gave better accuracy than single RBF kernel function. The successful prosody classification leads to confirmation of prosody classification. Read More...
