-M. Naveen Kumar ; V. Munusamy; D. Sivakumar
Wing is an important component of an aircraft, it helps to generate lift and also drag during take -off and landing, respectively. Wing`s vital role generating the lift above said our attempt to design a wing which has different sections i.e the wing is divided into several sections. This will increase the lift capacity of n aircraft while take off. We designed an airfoil keeping the NACA 2412 as base change some feature such as camber location. The wing is divided into five different sections. An actuator is used to change camber of a wing, and we considering the actuator responding 99%to change of the camber. A pneumatic actuator is used for varying the camber of an airfoil in each section of the wing for varying the angle of attack of the designed wing. The wing is designed by using an ANSYS& GAMBIT and the aerodynamic properties are found graphically by using FLUENT software. From the data we used, we aim at increasing the performance of an aircraft such as decreasing ground roll i.e decreasing take off distance and landing distance. Read More...

A Secure Text Steganography Technique based on Hybrid Algorithm of Indian Root and Reflection Symmetry Method
-Neha Shrivastava ; Prof. Toran Verma
Steganography is the art and science of secret communications. It is the practice of encoding/embedding secret information in a way such that the subsistence of the information is invisible. The original documents can be referred to as cover text, cover image, or cover audio. After inserting the secret message it is referred to as stego medium. The disadvantages of the system lie in the fact that once the applicability of the system is known, it can be simply attacked. So, it is urgent to keep the application of the method to a particular dataset, secret. We have several methods of audio steganography to embed the text message in cover audio file. The main job is to send the messages to receivers by hiding the existence of the message. Due to the security issues, A new Hybrid algorithm has been used which consists of both Indian root and Reflection symmetry method in order to reduce the data and increase the security, hence making the decoding process difficult. The Proposed Hybrid Algorithm was successful in increasing the security of the particular document as it made the decoding difficult. It was also helpful to make the limited articles or sentences safe which were consumed by Indian root method. It became difficult to identify the number of bits as the encoding was done by both the processes Indian root as well as Reflection symmetry method. It helped to increase the number of hidden sentences as the decoding process was tough. As a future work, this solution can be enhanced by increasing the embedding data capacity. The work is only limited to the text data, which can be further done with multimedia data also. Some advanced steganography methods can be used to enhance the encoding decoding process. Read More...

Effective Utilisation of Thermo-Electric Generator for Waste Heat Recovery
-Hardik K. Jani ; Ketan D. Panchal
Waste Heat recovery (WHR) with Thermo-electric Generators (TEG) can improve energy efficiency and provide distributed electricity generation. New thermoelectric materials and material performance improvements motivate development of thermoelectric generators for numerous applications with excess exhaust and process heat. Diesel engine (DE) is one of the main consumers of petroleum resources, which above 30% of fuel engine become waste heat. If the waste heat can be recovered for utilization, the thermal efficiency of DE can be improved. There are many methods available that can be used in recovering waste heat of DE. Among them, the TEG can convert thermal energy directly into electric energy, which got more attention by many researchers. Although the TEG has many advantages, which makes the TEG has been used in recovering waste heat of DE; the low conversion efficiency limits the widely application. In fact, the conversion efficiency of TEG is mainly restricted by thermoelectric material. Read More...

Performance and Emission Characteristics of a CI Engine When Fuelled with RBO and Al2O3 Nano Fluid as Additive
-S. Sirajuddin ; B. Siddeswara Rao
Increased environmental awareness and depletion of resources are driving industry to develop viable alternative fuel from renewable resources that are environmentally more acceptable. Vegetable oil is a potential alternative fuel. The most detrimental properties of vegetable oils are its high viscosity and low volatility. Biodiesel is a renewable biodegradable and non-toxic fuels derived from vegetable oils and fats by trans-esterification process. As an alternative fuel biodiesel has attracted considerable attention during the past decades. The main hurdle to the commercialization of biodiesel is the cost of raw materials. Use of edible oils as biodiesel feedstock cost about 60-70% of raw materials cost. Non edible, inexpensive, low grade, high free fatty acid rice bran oil as a raw material by continuous trans-esterification process and purification of bio-active compounds from biodiesel as by-product are primary options considered to lower the cost of biodiesel. The present research is aimed to investigate experimentally the performance and exhaust emission characteristics of a direct injection diesel engine having standard piston fuelled with conventional diesel fuel, blend of diesel and rice bran oil biodiesel, and blends of diesel and rice bran oil biodiesel with varying proportions of Nano materials (Al2O3) as additives over the entire range of load on the engine. The piston in the diesel engine is replaced and then fuelled with the above said fuels. The performance parameters such as brake power, specific fuel consumption, thermal efficiencies are calculated based on the experimental analysis and engine emissions such as CO, HC, CO2, and NOx emissions are measured. The data has been analyzed and the results are presented and discussed in this project. Read More...

-Abhishek jain ; Abhishek Jain; Amit Patel
In this paper I have concentrated on Solid Waste Management in a Village HATA, District Tikamgarh. The study depends on a Village having 5177 population. my study demonstrates that around 310gms of residential/ farming solid waste per capita is generated in this Village each day. I observed that road clearing, grass cutting, rural waste, steers compost, channel and open toilet cleaning contribute most to waste in this Village. Most common practices of waste preparing are dumping inside the village which causes mainly water and soil contamination. The characteristics of both solid and liquid are increasing and if the wastes are disposed in an uncontrolled manner this may bring about adverse impact on public health & environment. so, the solid wastages are still a major problem in this rural areas. To overcome these problems, I have proposed to implement Recycling of waste, Household level composting, Vermicomposting, Secured Land filling. Read More...

Today Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) are the concern of every human being in life. The vehicles meeting all technical specifications are also bound to satisfy NVH norms as one of the important ‘Unique selling Proposition’ (USP). Hence vehicle manufacturers are focused to provide improved product performance regarding NVH. In India ‘Three Wheelers’ are main ‘Public Transport’ used in urban areas and also used for carrying goods as well. These three wheelers are subjected to extreme vibrations due to its engine, structural design and the poor suspension combined with bad road condition. It is reported that vibrations over certain value are most hazardous to health. For vibration analysis of automotive vehicle and sub-assemblies under different operating conditions requires special transducers and instrumentation. New Simplified Aalborg Inverter for Inverter Applications
-Joel Joy ; Sreeja C.
Nowadays world is facing energy crisis with shortage of power. Renewable energy sources are being utilized so as to overcome this situation. For the conversion of renewable energy to required power, new kinds of electronic converters are being used. A new dc-ac inverter is proposed by the operation of both boost and buck converter circuit. It is the simplified version of conventional Aalborg Inverter. Conventional Aalborg inverter has high switching frequency, which is reduced in the Simplified Aalborg Inverter. Over a period of AC cycle only one switch is under switching stress, with only one inductor working in the power loop. An additional natural soft switching part is added in the conventional aalborg inverter. Both advantages of VSI and CSI is achieved using buck and boost mode of operations. Addition of soft switching components further reduces switching losses. Simulation studies show that the simplified aalborg inverter improves the advantages. Read More...

Deriving Seismic Fragility Curves for R.C. Framed Buildings in Zone V Using Hard, Medium and Soft Soil as Per IS 1893 (Part 1):2002
-Yash A Saraiya ; Dhara Shah
India is considered as one of the most disaster prone countries in the world. It has experienced several devastating earthquakes in the past which have resulted in a large number of deaths, injuries and severe property damage. There is a direct relationship between the damage of civil structures such as buildings to the number of casualties. Vulnerability of building is one of the major factors contributing to earthquake risk. As per National Building Code of India, half of the total money spent on construction is spent on buildings for various usage purposes. The frequent occurrence of damaging earthquakes clearly demonstrates the urgent need of study of earthquake risk assessment methods for disaster mitigation, disaster management, and emergency preparedness. In the present thesis seismic design of low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise buildings is carried out for zone V considering hard soil, medium soil and soft storey as per IS 1893 (Part1):2002, respectively. Pushover analysis is been performed using SAP2000 V17. Damage states are defined. Peak Ground Acceleration is taken as a hazard parameter and the demand statistics in terms of displacement are obtained for different sets of ground motion records which help to obtain a response matrix. A procedure for developing seismic fragility curves is been studied. The procedure for developing fragility curves can be explicitly performed using the Microsoft EXCEL. The fragility curves are used to represent the probabilities that the structural damages, under various level of seismic excitation, exceed specified damage states by means of earthquake intensity-damage relations and in turn will be helpful for can be utilized for prioritizing retrofit, pre-earthquake planning, and loss estimation tools such as cost-benefit analysis. The Routing using Prophet Protocol in DTN based on Fuzzy mechanism
-Jani Paresha.D ; N.B.Patel
Delay Tolerant network is very large and sparse network compared to simple MANET .When two mobile node comes to each other within a range and exchange the information these scenario is called “contact†in DTN. Here in DTN end to end connectivity is not possible because of varying of contact time and very large network area. So the ordinary routing protocols of MANET like OSR, DSDV are not usable for DTN. Due to different nature of network DTN require some new protocols which can provide store and forward mechanism. Today DTN has large set of protocols like Epidemic, Spray and wit, PropHet, Fuzzy logic based and other more .In this paper we combine both the best performing protocol named Prophet and Fuzzy based routing and try to find better protocol compared to existing . Our proposed method transfers messages based on Probability and in inner logic it uses the fuzzy mechanism to priorities the message. This protocol gives good result in terms of average latency and delivery probability. Read More...

-Vinayak.B.Kumbar ; Rajinder kumar Math
In high safety mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) multimodal biometric mechanics gives promising clarification about constant client-to-device validation. Multimodal biometrics which works with intrusion detection systems are developed which mitigate drawbacks of unimodal biometric technology. After all, all instruments in the network have calculation along with evaluation restriction, several instruments are preferred, and their evaluations can be combined to maximize estimation correctness utilizing Dempster–Shafer hypothesis for data fusion. This technology chooses if client confirmation is required and which biosensors ought to be picked, relying upon the safety circumstance. In our proposed framework by combining authentication along with intrusion detection system in high security mobile network we utilize an onion routing algorithm which chooses another path to reach to destination. Conclusion is done in a completely allocated way by every validation device along with IDSs. Simulation outcomes show the viability of proposed frameworkning SiC weight percentage constantly and varying Al2O3 Read More...

Semi-Automatic Framework for Security of MANETs
-Maleka N.Mamadapur ; Achyut Yaragal
Security is an important concern for the communication between mobile nodes in a unfriendly environment. MANET has no reasonable line of safeguard between the nodes, so both legitimate network users and malicious attackers can access it. When there is presence of malicious nodes, one of the fundamental difficulties in MANET is to plan the strong security arrangement that can shield MANET from different directing assaults. Limited bandwidth and battery power solutions are not suitable for MANET resource contraints, because they bring out heavy traffic load for exchanging and verifying keys. We present an on the fly security level approximation system for MANET. To secure routing in MANETs against intruders, we introduce TARF, a trust aware routing framework for MANETs. It provides trustworthiness and energy efficient MANETs. It not only diminishes negative impacts from attackers, it is also energy efficient with satisfactory overhead Read More...

Speed Control and Braking of Three-Phase IM
-Vipul Gupta ; S Phulambrikar
This paper presents the simulation method to control the speed of three phase induction motor by v/f method and its braking. As we know Induction motors are the most widely used electrical motor due to the reliability, cheaper cost and thew therefore its controlling is also very important so the simulation model for speed control in close loop and for DC Dynamic braking is shown here. Out of the several methods of speed control of an induction such as change of number of poles, variation in frequency, variable stator voltage, constant V/f control, variable rotor resistance, slip recovery method etc., the closed loop constant V/f speed control method is most widely used. Pulse width modulated inverter is the basic requirement of the scheme. Here first a PWM Inverter is modeled and its outputs is fed to the Induction Motor drives. A MATLAB SIMULINK MODEL was designed to successfully implement a MATLAB model for Closed-Loop V/f Control on a PWM-Inverter fed 3-phase Induction Motor. It was noticed that using a Closed-Loop scheme with a Proportional Integral gave a superior way of controlling the speed of an Induction motor. In case of DC dynamic braking the AC supply is disconnected and DC is connected at a fix time and waveform is observed. Read More...
