An Efficient Data Mining Method for Clustering on Privacy Preserving Concept
-Bhuvaneswari T ; Sasikala R
Privacy preserving data mining has become increasingly popular because it allows sharing of private sensitive data for analysis purposes. The concept of privacy preserving data mining has been proposed in response to these privacy concerns. The main goal of this research work has introduced a new k-Anonymity algorithm which is capable of transforming a non anonymous data set into a k-Anonymity data set. K-Anonymity model is thus to transform a table so that no one can make high-probability associations between records in the table and the corresponding entities. In order to achieve this goal, the K-Anonymity model requires that any record in a table be indistinguishable from at least (k−1) other records with respect to the pre-determined quasi-identifier. Finally the modified dataset is used for clustering. Read More...

Supporting Privacy Protection in Personalized Web Search
-A. Arun ; S. Suma
Personalized web search (PWS) has demonstrated that it is effective in improving the quality of various search services on the Internet. However, evidences show that users’ reluctance to discover their private information during search has become a major revetment for the wide proliferation of PWS. We study privacy protection in PWS applications that model user preferences as stratified user profiles. We propose a PWS framework called UPS that can adaptative generalize profiles by queries while respecting user-specified privacy requirements. Our runtime generalization aims at striking a balance between two prophetical metrics that valuate the utility of reification and the privacy risk of exposing the generalized profile. We present two greedy algorithms, namely GreedyDP and GreedyIL, for runtime induction. We also provide an online prevision mechanism for deciding whether personalizing a query is beneficial. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our framework. The simulation results also reveal that GreedyIL significantly outperforms GreedyDP in terms of efficiency. Read More...

Review on Traffic Density Analysis Techniques using Image Processing
-Chirag Thakkar ; Rajesh Patil
From city roads to highways, a lot of traffic problems occur everywhere in today’s world. An Excessive number of vehicles on roads and improper methods of controlling the traffic creates traffic congestion which leads to wastage of time and increases the pollution. This frequent traffic jams problem leads to a rise of the need for an efficient and proper traffic management system. Existing methods work well in free-flow traffic but in the case of heavy congestion, these methods face challenges. Current traffic control techniques involving magnetic loop detectors buried inside the road, infra-red and radar sensors on the side provide limited traffic information. The use of image processing helps in the proper management of traffic even in shadows and various lighting conditions and it is also cost effective as the devices it requires like sensors, cameras are cheaper than for other solutions. Comparison and survey of all these methods is shown in this paper which concluded that use of canny edge detection method makes an analysis of traffic comparatively efficient. Read More...

Optimizing the Behavior of Deep Drawing Process with Stress and Strain Variation using Finite Element Simulation by Changing Different Die Angle
-Prem Kumar Soni ; Dr. Vandana Somkuwar
Deep drawing is a sheet metal forming process in which a sheet metal blank is radially drawn into a forming die by the mechanical action of a punch. Deep drawing process is a shape transforming method. Defects like cracks and wrinkling of deep drawing occur very often in conventional cylindrical deep drawing process because of the lower forming ability of aluminum alloy sheet at room temperature. Therefore, a different approach is discussed in my research to obtain some new prediction of behavior with variations of deep drawing. This method helps to push the sheet metal in different angular direction. In addition, the effect of co-efficient of friction is predicted while performing deep drawing. In order to avoid the costly, tedious and difficult experiments, modern manufacturing industry is based on the analysis of forming processes in numeral atmosphere before the actual production set-up. In the work, the single stage deep drawing process is used by means of a finite element analysis. Simulation of the deep drawing process for determining stress distribution in the drawn component for different variations is explained in my work. The distribution of stress in the drawn component is obtained. Thus simulation of deep drawing is being carried out on alloy steel at different die angles and to check its performance. Also its behavior is tested at various co-efficient of friction. The result of simulation will be beneficial to the tool designer and the manufacturing industries doing work in this field. -Munna Kumar ; Prof. Karan Singh Verma; Dr. S.K. Nagpure
Fused Deposition modeling is the prime method of Additive manufacturing process used for the polymer manufacturing. As in this process the polymer filament enter in to the heat sink through feed filament feed mechanism and reaches to the heat block where it get melts and through the nozzle it get extruded and deposited layer by layer in order to build the component. In order to extrude the PLA melt, the feed polymer filament in solid form is used as a plunger. In order to use Polymer filament as a plunger, it is necessary to remain polymer filament is in solid state inside the heat sink. In order to remain feed filament in solid state it is necessary to remain the temperature of the heat sink much below the melting temperature of polymer. In order to increase the heat transfer rate from the heat sink it is necessary to increase the surface area of heat sink. Therefore in order to increase the surface area of heat sink fins are provided on the heat sink. Here in this paper thermal behavior of heat sink is analyzed. Here it also contains the optimization of heat sink fins profile, in this analysis heat sink having rectangular annular fin and circular annular fin are analyzed for different working material that is poly-lactic-acid (PLA), ABS polymer. Literature Survey on Structural Health Monitoring
-Dr. M. Senthil Kumar ; Ms. T. Kanitha; Ms. K. Jayasree; Ms. P. Harini
Structures are playing very important role in our day-to-day life such as dams ,bridges, rail tracks, aircrafts, industrial machineries ,high-rise building and so on. However, the long-term decay of these structures can be caused by unnatural/disaster conditions such as earthquakes, tsunami, winds and hurricanes. In this unfavorable condition constant supply of electric current to the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) are impossible. So, we are adopting Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Network (WRSN) in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). Comparing with WSN, WRSN provides sensing and analyzing of structures even during the unfavorable moments. On the same side it overcomes the key challenges like computationally intensive, resource constraints and long-term monitoring. The main issues in our SHM includes network life-time, stability, damage detection, reliability and trade-offs in model which is overcome by multi-scale Wireless Rechargeable Sensor Network with restricted input network activation scheme and the integration of data network activation scheme and the data integration from a heterogeneous sensor array to improve damage detection for low-order models. It helps to improve power efficiency, minimize packet loss and latency and eliminate synchronization issues through the use of a decentralized analysis scheme (i.e.) Cyber Physical System (CPS) approach. Development of Automated Paper Feeding Mechanism and Numbering Embedded System
-Sagar Nakade ; Vinay Landge; Rishabh Gupta; Harish Bhatkulkar
The large scale industries utilize fully automated system that is very costly and they use various sensors (for e.g. Photo sensors, proximity sensors, etc.) for sequencing of papers but it becomes very difficult to utilize the same systems for small scale industries as its initial cost of setup is too high. So they engage an extra labour for sequencing and numbering arrangement of papers. This extra labour work affects productivity as well as consumes more time for doing job which is possible to eliminate by introducing automation in this conventional job of sequencing and numbering the papers. So the ultimate aim of ‘Automated paper feeding mechanism and numbering embedded system’ is to develop the mechanism that can be cheaply available for small scale industries and helps to increase productivity of SSI by reducing manual labour and time requirement. A Survey Paper on Improvisation of K-Means Clustering Algorithm with Implementation on E-Commerce Data
-Shekh Shabazhusen A. ; Prof. Ketan Patel
Clustering is a technique for primary data analysis and k-means is clustering algorithms which are very useful of all the other algorithms. In data mining clustering methods are frequently used, because its performance in clustering large data sets. The result of the k-means clustering algorithm depends upon the correctness of the initial centroids, because they are selected randomly. The original k-means algorithm converges to local minimum, not the global optimum. Many improvements were already proposed to improve the performance of the k-means, but most of these require additional inputs like threshold values for the number of data points in a set. In this research a new method is proposed for finding the better initial centroids and to provide an efficient way of assigning the data points to suitable clusters with reduced time complexity. Our experimental results show the proposed algorithm more accurate with less computational time comparing to original k-means clustering algorithm. Read More...

An Innovative Tour Recommendation System for Tourist
-Pratik Kale ; Amrapali Pawar; Sikki Upadhyay; Mayur Parma
for automatic travel recommendation there are two main challenges First, the recommended POIs should be personalized to user interest since different users may prefer different types of POIs. Second, it is important to recommend a sequential travel route. This project presents a personalized travel sequence recommendation from both traveler and community-contributed photos and the heterogeneous metadata associated with these photos. Not good most existing travel recommendation approaches, the approach is not only personalized to user’s travel interest but to recommend a travel concatenation rather than individual Points of Interest (POIs). Topical package including representative logo, the distributions of cost, visiting time and visiting period of each topic, is examined to bridge the distance gap between user travel preference and travel routes. A vital challenge on this paper is to handle the distinctive components of travel data that distinguish travel packages from old things for recommendation. To it ends throughout this paper, we head to head to initial optimize the characteristics of the predominating travel packages and develop a tourist-area-season topic (TAST) model. Our main aim is to develop Smartphone apps and web sites which include Package recommendation narrow language tutorship on arrival hotel bookings. Scope of this project is not limited to this only we are also analyzing on some innovative concept -personalized trip scheduler. This paper provides a work of exploiting on-line travel ability for customized travel package recommendation. Read More...

Comparative Study of Thermal Property (HDT) of Hybrid Composites Prepared using Glass Fiber, Sugarcane Bagasse and Human Hair
-Janmajay Singh Rajput ; Subha Jayaraman; Jeetendra Mishra
The main aim of this research work is to prepare hybrid composites and to compare them on the basis of thermal property namely Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT). For preparation of composites, hand lay-up method is used. Unsaturated polyester (UP) resin is principal binding material (50wt %) while Cobalt naphthenate is used as an accelerator (0.5wt %) and Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) is used as a hardener (1wt %). 400 gsm chopped strand mat of E- glass fiber is primary reinforcement material while sugarcane bagasse and human hair fiber waste are used as additive fiber in glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) for preparing hybrid composite. An exothermic reaction occurs in which energy released is more than the energy supplied, this extra energy in the form of heat is due to formation of new bonds by cross-linking. Post curing, prepared composites are evaluated on Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT). Read More...

Design and Implementation of Hybrid Active Power Filters For Power Quality Improvement in Industries
-Aaliya Bai.S ; Mr. T. Rajesh; Santhosh Kumar.V
This paper presents design and simulation of a three-phase hybrid active power filter to eliminate the harmonics and for mitigation of the power quality problem at ac mains in ac-dc power supply feeding to a nonlinear load. The non linear loads take discontinuous current and thus it injects harmonics. The hybrid active power filter, which combines active power filter, passive power filter and generalized integrators, and which has their both respective merits, leading the development of electric reliability and quality. This harmonic distortion can be reduced by suppressing the harmonic resonance using the hybrid active filter, which is operated as variable harmonic conductance according to the voltage total harmonic distortion. Therefore, the harmonic resonance would be avoided as well as harmonic voltage distortion can be maintained at an allowable level. Finally, representative simulation results of a three phase hybrid active filter are presented to verify the effectivemess of HAPF in power quality enhancement. Read More...

-V. Spandana ; K. Pravalika; M. Deepika; Md Akheel Ahmed; B. Eshwar
this project is to develop a device to detect rash driving on highways and to alert the traffic authorities in case of any speed violation. Accidents due to rash driving on highways are on the rise and people are losing their lives because of other mistake. In present system, to detect rash driving police has to use a handheld radar gun and aim at the vehicle to record its speed if the speed of the vehicle exceed the speed limit, nearest police station is to informed to stoop the speeding vehicle. This an ineffective process as after detecting one has to inform the same a of time is wasted. The proposed system will check on rash driving by calculating the speed of a vehicle using the time taken to travel between two set points at a fixed distance. A set pints consists of pair of sensors comprising of an IR transmitter and an IR receiver, each of which are installed on either sides of the road. Read More...

-A. Pradeepraj ; P. Tamilamudhan
Metal matrix composites (MMCs) constitute an important class of design and weight efficient structural materials that are encouraging every sphere of engineering applications. Since, there has been an increasing interest in composites containing low density and low cost reinforcements. In the present work, Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has been used to join the AA6061 reinforced with SiC and Rice Husk-Ash metal matrix composites (MMCs). Accordingly, rectangular composite plates were fabricated through stir casting route, then these plates were welded by using FSW. By Taguchi method using L9 orthogonal array, the optimum of process parameters has been determined. ANOVA analysis has been carried out to determine the percentage contribution of each factor on Tensile Strength and Hardness. Micro-structural characterization of the stir zone was carried out through Optical Microscopy (OM). The uniform grain distribution has been observed across the stir zone of AA6061/SiC/Fly-Ash composites after FSW. Read More...

Adiabatic Diode Discharge Logic based Nibble Multiplexer
-K. N. V. S. Vijaya Lakshmi ; Y. Sujatha
The power consumption and delay optimization has been the main concerns for the VLSI technology. In this project we propose a new adiabatic technique using diode connected transistors. This technique emphasizes on reduction of power by lowering the non-recoverable power consumption in adiabatic circuits. This technique achieves full adiabatic operation by providing separate charging and discharging paths. The PMOS devices provide the charging path while the diode connected NMOS devices provide low resistance discharge path which helps in reduction of power dissipation in the circuit. This project compares the different logic style 2:1 multiplexers like CPL, EEPL and PFAL with the proposed design (ADDL) in terms of power and delay. The power consumption and delay is reduced up to a sufficient level with the help of new adiabatic logic technique. Nibble multiplexer is also designed using proposed logic. All the simulations have been performed by using T- Spice. Read More...
