Data clustering is a vital concept of mining as it partitions the given dataset into meaningful set of clusters based on data similarity. This concept enhances the computation efficiency in the data analysis processes. In the preceding researches, Particle Swarm Artificial Bee Colony (PSABC) and Hybrid Artificial Bee Colony-Firefly Algorithm (HABC-FA) were developed for clustering to solve the clustering problem; however the imbalanced dataset problem still prevailed. This was overcome by the introduction of Multi-Objective Scatter Search Simulated Annealing with Hierarchical Agglomerative Clustering (MOSSSA-HAC) approach. But the feature selection in this approach has slow convergence speed. Hence in this paper, the Multi-Objective Scatter Search with Cuckoo Search algorithm with Modified Hierarchical Agglomerative Clustering (MOSSCS-MHAC) is proposed for resolving the convergence problem. In the initial stage, the Modified KNN is used for pre-processing followed by the under sampling process for error reduction. Then the multi-objective feature selection is performed using MOSSCS while the final clustering is achieved using MHAC algorithm. This approach provides optimal clustering with high accuracy. The experimental results show that the proposed MOSSCS-MHAC provides high values of precision, recall and f-measure than the existing algorithms.

We create a user friendly interface for the android device that allows the user to communicate with the Raspberry Pi server. The server will be interfaced with a relay circuit board that controls the appliances running in Home. The communication with server allows the user to select the appropriate device. Using the WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) and GPS we will be able to track the position and the health parameters of a soldiers which includes heart beat rate and temperature of a soldier. The information are transmitted to the army base station through Tiva core ARM Cortex TM4C123GH6PM interfaced to the PC via GPRS modem. In the base station, a LabVIEW program helps in continuously monitoring the health of a soldier as well as transmit and receive messages wirelessly. The GUI that has been created using Lab VIEW contains overall health status bar, based on the threshold vital values present in the software it helps in the rescue of the soldiers.

The heart disease database is pre-processed to make the mining process more efficient. The pre-processed data is clustered using clustering algorithms like K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) to cluster relevant data in database. International Classification of Diseases (ICD) Data is used for mining maximal frequent patterns in heart disease database. The frequent patterns can be classified using KNN algorithm as training algorithm using the concept of information entropy. The results showed that the designed prediction system is capable of predicting the heart attack with good accuracy.

First the modal analysis is performed to determine the mode shapes and natural frequencies, stress and deflection analysis is carried out to the determine the von-misses stresses and deflection when steel leaves are replaced by fibrous composite leaves. Leaf spring will modelled in ANSYS. The conventional steel leaf spring and the composite leaf spring will be analyzed under similar conditions using ANSYS software and the results are presented.

Experimental evaluation shows that for a standard severity index Gaussian and Laplacian operations provide the desired results and least false positives among all techniques evaluated. Cognitive Radio (CR) has received tremendous research attention over the past decade. A CR is a device that senses the spectrum for occupancy by licensed users (also called as primary users), and transmits its data only when the spectrum is sensed to be available. For the efficient utilization of the spectrum while also guaranteeing adequate protection to the licensed user from harmful interference, the CR should be able to sense the spectrum for primary occupancy quickly as well as accurately. Direct-conversion radio (DCR) receivers can offer highly integrated low-cost hardware solutions for spectrum sensing in cognitive radio (CR) systems. In particular, we provide the novel closed-form expressions for the evaluation of the detection and false alarm probabilities, assuming Rayleigh fading. Furthermore, we extend the analysis to the case of CR networks with cooperative sensing, where the secondary users suffer from different levels of RF imperfections, considering both scenarios of error free and imperfect reporting channel. Numerical and simulation results demonstrate the accuracy of the analysis.

The shift in the fr (frequency response) due to length variation is more in both cases in comparison to width variation. Metakaolin is a cementations materials used as an admixture to produce high strength concrete and is used for maintaining the consistency of concrete. Metakaolin is a valuable admixture for concrete or cement applications and it is a pozzolonic additive product which can provide many specific features. Amongst the various methods used to improve the durability of concrete, and to achieve high performance concrete, the use of Metakaolin is a relatively new approach. The present study includes the effect of partial replacement of cement with metakaolin by various percentages (0%, 10%, 15%, 20%) on the properties of M-25 grade of concrete, when it is subjected to high temperature of 2000C – 10000C. The concrete mixes were prepared by replacing 0,10,15 and 20% mass of cement by Metakaolin. The specimens were heated to different temperatures of 2000C, 4000C, 6000C, 8000C, 10000C for durations of 1 hours at each temperature. The results conclude that the use of Metakaolin Concrete (MKC) has improved the performance of concrete under various temperature conditions. The test result revealed that 15% replacement of OPC by metakaolin increases the strength of concrete.

The current trend to produce energy in automobiles/bikes involves the combustion of air-fuel mixture inside a combustion chamber of a reciprocating engine and then converting the chemical energy into mechanical energy in order to perform work. This mechanical energy is then transmitted to the wheel by using power transmission elements. Also there are energy losses involved in transmission of power like frictional losses and damper losses from prime mover to the wheels through different transmission elements. This results in decrease in overall efficiency and increase in fuel consumption in engine. Whereas in maglev wheels, this loss can be lowered to a great extent by running the wheel itself as a prime mover. It is an attempt to run a bicycle with the use of batteries, permanent magnets and electromagnet, so as to develop and manufacture a mode of transport with no fuel consumption and as a results without pollution and environment friendly. Maglev wheels involves the concept of magnetism and use of repulsion property of magnets. The entire wheel of the bicycle consists of permanent magnets. This magnet is attached between the spokes of the bicycle near the wheel rim. These permanent magnets are placed at an equal interval of angular distances held in bracket like structure. Two electromagnets are used to repel this permanent magnet. These electromagnets are placed below the seat of bicycle near and around the both sides of the wheel rim such that permanent magnets and electromagnets are very close to each other with small clearance between them. A solid state relay is used to power the electromagnet. This relay is again powered by small batteries. In order to activate the relay, a proximity sensor is used. This sensor is mounted near the hub of wheel in front of steel lug ring. This ring has slots like those between the gear teeth. The permanent magnets are so arranged that whenever the steel lugs come in front of proximity sensor, one permanent magnet comes in between the two electromagnets mounted near the rim. In this way the output of sensor is transmitted to solid state relay. The relay thus gets activated and allows large voltage and current to pass through it and transmitted it to the electromagnets. The electromagnets having opposite polarity than that of permanent magnets cause the permanent magnets to repel away from electromagnets and the wheel of bicycle starts rotating. This process keeps on repeating as long as steel lug comes in front of proximity sensor and relay is activated.
