-Aishwarya Gunasekar ; Gomathi; Veera Lakshmi Ponnuramu
Now a day’s everybody is using location based services to find possible paths and by using Google map to show the best optimal path among all other possible paths. This paper deals with the effort in reducing the overall time and distance results in generating a overall shortest path possible using fuzzy logic guided graph search algorithm. This method is used to calculate the optimal value in finding the shortest path. Fuzzy logic guided graph search algorithm provide efficient and scalable index on road networks in solving real world problem. Role of fuzzy logic is to dynamically adjust the crossover and mutation rate after ten consecutive generations. In these days everybody is using location based services to find possible paths and by using Google map to show the best optimal path among all other possible paths. This project deals specifically with the vehicle routing optimization. Since the overall travelled time is not restricted or confined always with regards to a time window constraint, the intension in making this project consists of not only the cost involved due to the overall travelling time. This system of trip planning provides travelers to facilitate the process of route selection. Read More...

-Savesh Tripathi ; Mr. Prabhash Jain
The effective uses of a Shaft are limited at its maximum operational junction frequency. The study was conducted by using the Finite element method. The shafts are used with flow of with rotation such as power houses components and industrial applications. The major study was done on shaft by using different materials with different shaft diameter profile of 90-100, 60-100mm. A natural frequency was analyzed and Campbell diagram analysis is performed for validation. In our analysis, ANSYS was used and the model was developed on UNIGRAPHICS 8.0. In order to verify the present ANSYS model, the Natural frequency with their modes by using four types of materials are compared with the available experimental results present in the literature and the design of shaft with different diameters of 60-100, 90-100mm. In this study, the simulations of different profile Shafts and four types of materials were analyzed for natural frequency and the configurations of shaft design are proposed. The results show that decreasing shaft diameter and material like Gray cast iron of shaft the decrease in a critical speed number of modes simultaneously. The critical speed of the shaft with different diameter is compared by using four types of materials and is predicted that at 60-100, 90-100mm shaft profile a gray cast iron gives frequencies and less critical speed in different modes. Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Flexible Pavement (Kosmadi Patia to Sevni Village,Kamrej District)
-Parthik B. Nakrani ; Khushbu Bhatt; Siddharth Gupte
For the evaluation of a functional behaviour or performance analysis, information is needed on the history of riding quality of the pavement stretch. In condition survey, pavement surface condition is measured and which types of the distress is observed. For the sub grade evaluation soil sample is taken at required locations on road stretch. In the structural evaluation of flexible pavement the pavement deflection is measured by the Benkelman Beam. It is possible to measure the rebound and residual deflections of the pavement structure. While the rebound deflection is one related to pavement performance, the residual deflection may be due to non-recoverable deflection of the pavement or because of the influence of the deflection bowl on the front legs of the beam. Rebound deflection is used for overlay design. A detailed pavement condition survey is done on Kosmadi Patia to Sevni village, Kamrej district and the road condition is evaluated structurally. Experimental Study on High Strength Concrete using Quarry Fines and Recycle Concrete Aggregate
-Sujeet Kumar Tiwari ; Rajesh Joshi
History of cementing material is as old as history of engineering construction such as in monument construction of Egypt, Greek, India and Rome. The usage of concrete dates back to starting of 20th century after discovery of cement. Conventional concrete making constituents are cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregate, water and mineral or chemical admixtures. On the other hand, usage of natural aggregates from river beds/banks and other sources such as rocks can seriously create environmental threats. This study aims to develop the sustainable use of recycled concrete aggregate along with quarry fines in structural concrete to reduce the environmental impact. Therefore, my objective is to investigate the property of fresh concrete made up of Recycled Concrete Aggregate along with Quarry fines by slump test. From the literature, it's far-famed that usage of recycled concrete as aggregates has some limitations for strength and freeze-thaw resistance. This study aims to perform experimental studies to research the properties of hardened concrete created with recycled concrete aggregates alongside quarry fines. Experiments such as compressive strength, flexure strength are performed to determine the suitability of concrete. This is also to determine the suitability for application in high strength concrete up to 60MPa. Analysis was made by replacing RCA in following percentage 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and all samples have 50% (by weight) quarry dust as fine aggregate replacement. Read More...

Design and Fabrication of Multi Purpose Cutting Machine with Dust Collector
-Vivek .B. Vaidya ; Nilesh .D. Rathod; Amarpreet Singh Bhatia; Piyush .S. Bhoyar; Devendra .R. Shebe
This paper presents a simple way of designing and implementing multipurpose cutting machine. A concrete saw (also known as a consaw, road saw, cut-off saw or quick cut) is a power tool used for cutting tile, concrete, masonry, brick, asphalt, and other solid materials. It can be a small hand-held cut-off saw, a big walk-behind saw or other styles, and it may be powered by gasoline, hydraulic or pneumatic pressure, or electric motors. The saw blades used on concrete saws are often diamond saw blades to cut concrete, asphalt, stone, etc. Abrasive cut-off wheels can also be used on cut-off saws to cut stone and steel. The significant friction generated in cutting hard substances like concrete usually requires the blades to be cooled to prolong their life and reduce dust. This machine creates substantial amounts of dust during operation. Breathing airborne dust on a regular basis can result in permanent respiratory illness. Reduce your risk by wearing a respirator and capturing the dust with a dust collection system. Here, we are designing a tool to cutting with dust collection application. Here the suction pressure is measured by the vacuum gauge. Read More...

Smart Street Lighting Control System Design Based on PLCC
-Mr. Pravin P Thosare ; Prof. Amit V. Mohod; Dr. S. M. Deshmukh
Conventional street lighting systems in areas with a low frequency of passersby are on in the night without purpose. The consequence of this is that a large amount of power will be wasted. With the broad availability of modern technology like light-emitting diode lamps and everywhere available wireless internet connection, fast reacting, reliably operating, and power-conserving street lighting systems can be realized. The purpose of this work is to describe the Intelligent Street Lighting (ISL) system, a first approach to accomplish the demand for flexible public lighting systems. Monitoring of street lights and controlling is very much important in developing country to reduce the power consumption hence this paper presents a street light control system which combines various technologies like a photosensitive detector (LDR), infrared photoelectric control, Light Emitting Diodes (LED), power transistors, dual relays with transmission of controlling commands over existing power lines. This system contains power line carrier channel to detect the day and night conditions to turn lamps on, merely during night time. This system also includes fault detection and feedback circuit to indicate the present state of the control system. The intact information regarding these various aspects is transferred to nearby control terminal (base station) by power line carrier communication to visualize the state of the system by creation of Graphical User Interface (GUI) there. It allows substantial energy savings with increased performance and maintainability. Read More...

A Survey on Similarity Aware SQL Based Group-by Operators for Multidimensional Relational Data
-Anup Wadhekar ; Dr.Emmanuel M.
The SQL group-by operator plays crucial role in summarizing large datasets in a data analytics. Allowing similarity aware grouping provides a more rational view on real-world data that could lead to better insights. Existing similarity-based grouping operators primarily focus on one-dimensional attributes. However correlated attributes, such as in spatial data, are processed independently. Hence, groups in the multi-dimensional space are not detected properly. To address this problem, two new SGB operators for multi-dimensional data are introduced. The first operator is the clique (or distance-to-all) nSGB, where all the tuples in a group are within some distance from each other. The second operator is the distance-to-any SGB, where a tuple belongs to a group if that tuple is within some distance from any other tuple in the group. Since a tuple may satisfy the membership criterion of multiple groups, we introduce three different semantics to deal with such a case: (i) eliminate the tuple, (ii) put the tuple in any one group, and (iii) create a new group for this tuple. The experimental study, based on TPC -H and a social check-in data proposes that the proposed algorithms can achieve up to three orders of magnitude improvement in performance over baseline methods developed to solve the same problem. Enhancement of Power Quality for Microgrid Applications using UPQC
-Rajesh T ; Dilip Kumar Balasubramaniyam; Mohan Raj P; Madhavakannan Vellingiri
One of the major concerns in electricity industry today is power quality. It becomes important with the introduction of advanced and complicated devices, whose performance is very sensitive to the quality of power supply. The electronic devices are very sensitive to disturbances and thus industrial loads become less tolerant to power quality problems such as voltage dips, voltage sags, voltage flickers, harmonics and load unbalance etc. At present, a wide range of very flexible controllers, which capitalize on newly available power electronics components, are emerging for custom power applications. Among these, unified power quality conditioner which is based on the VSC principle is used for power quality improvement. In this paper, UPQC is used. This is used to compensate current and voltage quality problems of sensitive loads. The results are analyzed and presented using MATLAB/SIMULINK software. Read More...

-Sabiya Subramanian ; Pavithra Sivakumar; Sakthi Madhusudanan; Gayathiri. E; Veeralakshmi Ponnuramu
The MapReduce programming model deals with large scale data processing is fully based on shuffling and sorting the data by exploiting parallel map task and reduce tasks. For the performance enhancement, they ignore network traffic generated in the shuffle phase by the MapReduce Jobs. A hash function is used to partition the intermediate data among reduce tasks which is not traffic optimal due to network topology and data size connected with each key. In the proposed system, we study to reduce the network traffic with the help of data partitioning scheme, we consider to aggregate data with the same keys before sending them to remote reduce tasks. The proposed method named decomposition-based distributed algorithm is dealing with the large-scale optimization problem for big data application. In a dynamic manner, data partition and aggregation is done using online algorithm. Read More...

Pressure Drop Prediction in Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying System for Foundry Sand
-Anuj B. Sharma ; Raviprakash C. Patel; Lokesh J. Rathi; Praful H. Suthar
Pneumatic conveying of solid materials is used in many process industries where solid particles are carried forward in pipes by the gas and air. For foundry sand air is consider as working media with sufficient high pressure and low velocity for dense phase pneumatic conveying system. Aim of paper is for lowest erosion rate in bend and pipe with sufficient pressure to lift up the particles. Material flow rate through a pipeline is primarily dependent upon the pressure drop available across the pipeline. A basic requirement of any feeding device, therefore, is that the pressure loss across the device should be as low as possible in low pressure systems, and as small a proportion of the total as possible in high pressure systems. Accurate prediction of pressure drop across the conveying system is essential in determining the optimum operating parameters for a smooth conveying operation. Read More...

Use of MQL for Taper Turning Operation
-Suyash P. Gokhale ; Anup Junankar; Somnath Nimje; Santosh Satpute
In present study, it has been surveyed that, the metal industries using the cutting fluid has become more problematic in terms of both employee health and environmental pollution. Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) has increasingly found its way into the area of metal cutting machining and in many areas, has already been established as an alternative to conventional wet processing. In contrast to flood lubrication, minimum quantity lubrication uses only a few drops of lubrication (approx. 5 ml to 100 ml per hour) in machining. The aim of this research is to determine if the minimal quantity lubrication (MQL) technique in turning gives some advantages in terms of workpiece surface roughness using workpiece material as EN-31 steel and carbide cutting tool material. Fluid selection is important for MQL because it must be a superior fluid such as vegetable oil or synthetic oil. The costs of these superior fluids are higher but eliminate the need for costly fluid recycling and disposal services. It was found that, MQL produced better surface finish as compared to wet machining. The result can significantly reduce cost and environmental pollution. Read More...

A Survey on Applications of Simulation Environment in Sheet Metal Forming Operations
-Sadish Kumar. R ; Seenivasagan. G; Ragu A. R; Sugumar. S
Single Point Incremental Forming (SPIF) process has been largely developed for the last ten years due to the multiple advantages that presents as its well-known dieless configuration, the larger conformability that can be obtained with it and its flexibility. In spite of that, the process has been experimentally applied to soft-fluent alloys, like aluminium alloys. Herein there are multiple variables taking part and related to the technological parameters, the material conformability and the friction phenomena. These effects have not been sufficiently studied, especially at steel applications. The present work is a part of a future extended research and tries to evaluate in advance the stresses and strains existing in the sheet and in the tool during SPIF of DC-05 steel. A Solidworks® environment has been created to do a FEM Simulation of this process. Read More...

-Dhaval Dudakiya ; Dhruv Shah; Dhwani Patel; Shweta J Chauhan
Urban transportation planning system depends on travel demand modeling. Travel demand modeling is a systematic process for developing regional transportation planning. In today’s era, Transportation is a basic need of every person. With Start of every day, every person generates “Trip†from one place to another using different mode of travel and having specified travel time. Transportation means transfer of person or goods from origin to destination points. There is tremendous increase in traffic on roads, which is the key reason behind increase in trip generation rate. In India, on every road there is a problem of conflicting movements and traffic at intersections as well as on major routes. The increase in personalized vehicles rate leads to generation of more trips. Trip generation rate depends on various factors like vehicle ownership, age, and income of person, education, purpose of trip and many more. Here, in this paper Authors had studied the case study of Anand region, to understand the types of trip generation rate, factors affecting trip generation and future forecasting of trip generation for studied area. Design and Development of Automatic Cleaning of Air Filter System
-Bhusham R. Mahajan ; Shubham B. Lute; Rohit M. Tarare; Shubham I. Kadbe
The air filter is an in intake system permanently removes foreign particles such as dust, dirt and soot from air intake thereby maintaining the performance of the engine and protecting it from damage. The previous research on air filter has shown that they are replaced pre-maturely before reaching full capacity of utilization, loading to increasing maintenance costs and to reduced engine protection against abrasive wear. Also the customer plays a very important part because beyond the warranty period, they have a last word, making decision about replacing or not the air filter. So, in this project we are making automatic cleaning of air filter of heavy vehicle without using manual energy it’s completely automatic. If it is done by manually air filter cleaning may be uneven but by this process cleaning should be proper and maintaining the efficiency of air filter as well as engine. The effects of air filter performance were studied carried out with the different diesel engine of cleaned air filter. Read More...

Large Scale Data Clustering Using Various-Widths Clustering Approach
-HARSHAL RUSHIRAJ AGASHE ; SATISH SHANKARRAO BANAIT
To perform a clustering widely used and most powerful technique is k-nearest neighbor. This approach required large computational cost for high dimensional datasets. The proposed work focuses on k-NN is based on various clustering widths on large scale data. We are proposing modified kNN approach with MapReduce parallel computing algorithm and clusters grouping with goal of improving the performance in terms of clustering time, pre-processing costs and querying cost while working with high dimensional data. First we are presenting the kNN method using various width clustering to efficiently extract the kNNs for input query object from the dataset. The given dataset is clustered using global width then each cluster that satisfies its predefined criteria i.e threshold value is recursively clustered using their local width. To prune unlikely clusters triangle inequality was used earlier, but we designed tree based approach in which centers of clusters grouped into the tree based index to maximize the more clusters pruning. To reduce the processing time and clustering time, we designed parallel computing algorithm based on MapReduce. Read More...
