Lay People Beliefs in Professional and Naive Stock Investors' Proneness to Judgmental Biases
-Priyanka Saxena ; Dr. Ranjan A. John
This paper is an empirical study about lay people beliefs in professional and naïve stock investors proneness to judgmental biases. Such biases are potential threats to the efficiency of financial markets and judgmental biases not a big threat to market efficiency rather the number of lay investors is large. There are various studies showing that investors are generally not rational while deciding for investment or markets may not be efficient and therefore prices may significantly vary from fundamental values because of irrational investors. The objective of the study is to re-standardize a measure for beliefs of lay people and naive investors in professional stock investors in making more rational and less biased judgments .Identification of underlying factors of lay people’s beliefs in professional stock investors in making more rational and less biased judgments. The underlying factors of naïve stock investors in making more rational and less biased judgments are also studied. And it was found out whether there is a difference between lay people beliefs in professional stock investors and naïve stock investors in making more rational and less biased judgments. The study is descriptive in nature and survey method used to collect responses from the residents of Gwalior city with sample size was of 198 respondents including 99 lay investors and 99 naïve investors. The paper reviewed the judgmental biases of lay people and naïve investor's in stock market. The result from t Test concluded that the variance between two is same. Read More...

-Ingale Rajesh Dattatray ; Hiremath Ashish S.; Hippargi Shivraj; Khan Intekhab
Now days we can see that the due to engine vehicle the pollution is increasing and the crude oil storage is decreasing day by day. The rate of petrol and diesel are increasing more and more so that Government and Vehicle Company are concentrating on the electrical vehicle to avoid the pollution as well as increase the human health. The purpose of this project was to design and build a vehicle which not requires any fuel, human health can be maintain & eco-friendly. The RAPS ride is the vehicle in which is operated by normal pedal like cycle and also by electric motor. Prototype was tested for 48kg human and we get speed of 30kmph by electric motor and by pedaling 15kmph on well condition road. We propose to design and create a vehicle which generates the electricity while in pedaling operation. The energy which generated should charge the battery which are using for electrical motor power supply. By this the pollution rate should be decrease by cycle pedal system the health of human can also become a good & the petrol, diesel and other crude oil which are we using for vehicle running it can be we use for other use or we can save it for future also. -Prof. Snehal R. Javheri ; Prachi Thorat; Darshana Paliwal; Mamta Gurme; Hrishika Shelar
Sensor based Tire Pressure Monitoring System for Motor Vehicles is a tire pressure monitoring system used in any type of the vehicles. This technology involves two parts that is every tire pressure monitoring system and main board or display screen indicates status of all tires pressure and interconnected through wireless technology. In each tire pressure monitoring set there is a small kit consists of micro-controller, sound alarm, pressure sensor and battery. This small kit senses high and low air pressure inside the tire and informs to main circuit mounted on the display screen. Because of which driver or rider will come to know the air pressure status of every tire and can take appropriate action. Here sound alarm introduced in small kit to identify high pressure level if air inside the tire exceeds the deï¬ned level then sound alarm is generated. Light blinking facility is provided on the display screen to show low air pressure status of any tire. This communication between main circuit (display screen) and every tire kits is done through wireless medium which can be Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The wireless charging is done to charge small tire kit though vehicle has main battery backup or charging point inside the vehicle. To protect the tire pressure kit from problem of overheating, cooling substance or cooling liquid is used as heat an absorbent around the kit, which helps to maintain kits long life. Due to use of such technology road accidents caused due to low air pressure of tires can be avoided. The proposed technology gives information of all tire pressure to the user on the display screen, which minimizes human efforts to check air externally. Also cost on the air check instruments can be minimized due to this proposed work. Read More...

Design and Analysis of Sleepy Instruction Caches for High Speed and Memory Efficient STT-RAM
-Mr. S. Shanmuga Raju ; S. Remya; S. Sathya; S. Shiny G Deborah; G. Soniya
The motto of this proposal is based on efficient memory optimization concept. For high speed STT-RAM, the sleepy instruction caches is used not only for write amount aware, but also for efficient read address enable solutions. To allow the selection of STT-RAM in the implementation of cache memories, new cache hierarchy levels of managing policies are required for overcoming such drawbacks. In this, we evaluated several cache hierarchy management policies in the context of STT-RAM L1 caches and STT-RAM L2 caches. We also found that the non-exclusive policy is superior to non-inclusive and exclusive policies in terms of energy consumption and endurance. We also proposed this sleepy instruction caches with sub block-based management policy because the write energy consumption and endurance are proportional and inversely proportional to the amount of written data respectively. Labview Based Speed Control of Single Phase Induction Motor by V/F Control Method
-Mr.P.Karthikeyan ; M.Suresh; K.Bharathi; U.Keerthanaa; D.VinuPrakash
Induction Motors are also known as "Workhorse of the Industry". This is because it is one of the most widely used motors in the world. It is used in transportation, industries, household appliances, and laboratories. The speed control methods are pole changing, frequency variation, variable rotor resistance, variable stator voltage, constant v/f control, slip recovery method etc., Except V/f control method, all methods have certain limitation. In the proposed method, the V/f ratio is kept constant using LabVIEW which in turn maintains the magnetizing flux constant so that the maximum torque remains unchanged and the efficiency gets maintained. Thus, the wide range of speed control is achieved. It is effortless, cost-effective and easier to design in open loop. This proposed method can be extended in future to control the speed of induction motor in closed loop. In closed loop method, the steady state and outputs are controlled much higher than open loop. Concrete may be a brittle material with high strength in compression however weak in tension that reinforcement is provided. Fibers are utilized in concrete as reinforcement and strengthening part as they're effective in strengthening the concrete underneath tension similarly like standing the propagation of cracks. The influence of sisal fibers on the strength of concrete is taken because the main objective of this experimental study. The sisal fibers were supplementary in varied percentages of third, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and a pair of in 3 grades of concrete specifically M20, M30 and M40 and therefore the mechanical properties like compression, split tensile and flexure were tested. The optimum fiber volume fraction for compressive strength was found to be at one hundred and twenty fifth, whereas the split tensile and flexure strength improved with the rise in volume fraction of fibers. The take a look at results indicated that the sisal fibers were effective in raising the strength of concrete. Read More...
