Cloud Computing is the future generation internet based computing system which provides easy and customizable services to the users for accessing their data or to work with various cloud applications. One of the major services provided by cloud is data storage. Cloud Computing is a way for storing & accessing the cloud data from anywhere by connecting the cloud application using internet. Cloud Computing security is the main issue rising nowadays. As Cloud computing provides facility for a group of users to share and access the stored data, there is a possibility of having high data risk. A secure and efficient data sharing scheme needs to provide identity privacy, access control, multiple owner and dynamic data sharing without getting affected by number of cloud users revoked. In our project, we propose the Secure Data Sharing in Clouds (SeDaSC) methodology that provides:1) Data confidentiality and integrity; 2) access control; 3) data sharing 4) insider threat Security; 5) forward and backward access control. The SeDaSC encrypts file with a single encryption key. Two different key shares for each of the users are generated, with the user only getting one share. The possession of a single share of a key allows the SeDaSC methodology to counter the insider threats. The other key share is stored by a third party, which is called other cryptographic server. Spiral Path Robotic Arm
-Charudatta Rajendra Joshi ; Akshay Bhangade; Omkar Pisal; Ajinkya Inamdar
The 6-axis robot system used in assembly line, spray painting, process automation, etc conventionally use the Cartesian or polar system of orientation, where in there is a single actuator for each motion and each motion is achieved as combination of individual motion of these actuators to get the net effect. This method proves to be more time consuming because cycle time of each actuator is added to form the total time required to reach the destination spot. So also cost of each actuator and complex control system is also very high and the system is high on space required, running cost and space occupancy. Thus in order to reduce the cycle time , cost space occupancy and running cost the humanoid wrist arm robot system is designed. The innovation in the wrist arm design to control three direction motion using a single motor makes the system very compact, cost effective, and easy to control and operate and low on running cost as only one actuator is needed instead of three. The project aims at design, development and analysis of this wrist arm and combining it with rotation about z-axis motion to effect a complete manipulator design. Read More...

Design & Implementation of Energy Generation System using Solar & Vibration Sensors on Roads
-Sandip Laxman Suryawanshi ; Sarvesh Gopal Maliye; Gopade Manoj Laxman
Solar energy is free and clean. There is enough for everyone, and we will never run out of it. Solar energy is renewable. The sun will keep making energy for millions of years. Why don’t we use the sun for all our energy needs? We don’t know how to yet. The hard part is capturing the sunlight. It shines all over the earth and only a little bit reaches any one place. On a cloudy day, most of the light never reaches the ground at all. Lots of people put solar collectors on their roofs. Solar collectors capture the sunlight and turn it into heat. People can heat their houses and their water using the sun’s energy. Solar cells can turn light energy into electricity. Some toys and calculators use solar cells instead of batteries. Solar panels are made of many solar cells. Some people put solar panels on their home. These solar panels can make enough electricity for a house. Solar panels are good for houses and buildings without access to power lines. Piezoelectric generators work due to the piezoelectric effect. This is the ability of certain materials to create electrical potential when responding to mechanical changes. To put it more simply when compressed or expanded or otherwise changing shape a piezoelectric material will output some voltage. Solar cells or photovoltaic cells are semiconductor diodes that convert available sunlight (at least a portion) into electrical power. Read More...

Role of Alloying Additions in Microstructure and Wear Behaviour of Galvannealed Coating
-Deepak Kumar Patidar ; Dr. C. Sasi Kumar
Galvannealing is a modified techniques of galvanizing in which annealing is carried out after Zn coating in order to transform the coating surface to wear resistance Zn oxides. The name is referred since galvanizing + annealing steps are carried out subsequently this kind of coatings provide better corrosion resistance as well as wear/scratch resistance there by the damages during transportation could be avoided, the annealing stage lead to the formation of intermetallic layers/precipitates which assist in enhancing the strength and hardness of the coating. Recently it is investigated that Al, Fe, Cr and other alloying elements could be added into the Zn bath during galvanizing so that they can form intermetallic layers or particles on subsequent annealing stages. Further, the annealing temperature and time need to be optimized so that a needle like/flower like morphology can be developed. The size and shape of needles/flowers control the hardness and wear resistance of the coating. Thus it is required to optimize the process parameters so as to control the morphology there by better mechanical properties can be achieved in the present investigation a galvanneled coating is developed using hot dip galvanizing and subsequent annealing. Few set of coatings are developed on mild steel substrate with addition of Al into Zinc bath the concentration of Al varied from 0, 0.1 and 0.2 weight percent respectively. Read More...

Self-Compacting Concrete using Portland Slag Cement with Crusher Dust and Foundry Sand as Fine Aggregate
-Gedela Ramana ; K Siva Prasad
Concrete plays a vital role as a construction material in the world. Studies have been carried out to investigate the possibility of utilizing a broad range of materials as partial replacement for cement and aggregate in the production of concrete. Also the construction industry is now slowly becoming aware of the environmental issues and other sustainable development issues for cement and concrete industries. It is looking for the ways and means to develop building products, which will increase the life span and quality. In this regard the merits of using ground granulated blast furnace which is a by-product of certain industries and also by using different fine aggregates like sea sand, foundry sand and crusher dust have been well recognized by the construction industry. This thesis presents an experimental investigation on strength aspects like compressive, split tensile and flexural strength of Self Compacting Concrete (SSC) containing two different industrial wastes as fine aggregate i.e. Foundry sand and Crusher dust. Both of them are used as fine aggregates in varying proportions, taking foundry sand as the fine aggregate and replacing it with Crusher dust as percentages of 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. For this green SCC, all SCC tests are performed as per EFNARC guidelines i.e. slump flow, L-box, V funnel and T50 tests are carried out. The methodology adopted is that the fine aggregates are replaced with the industrial wastes, foundry sand and crusher dust and the performance of SCC is measured. The influence of these materials as fine aggregate is tested for workability and compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength of self-compacting are investigated. Read More...

Effect of Residual Stresses in Plate Section
-Dipak Namdeo Nakhate ; P. B. Kulkarni; N. S. Agrawal
There are many software packages available for effect of residual stresses in plate Analysis and in India we generally use STAAD and ANSYS Software. All the two software packages, for plate bending analysis of thick and thin plate contain a four noded quadrilateral element (or three noded triangular elements) with different formulation.
In these paper results of bending moment, bending stress and shear stress of Rectangular and Square Plates using STAAD are computed with and without residual stress results. In this paper two experimental methods data are taken i.e. shot pining method and section method. In that methods taking maximum residual stress values and used in STADD software and find out the bending moment, bending stress and shear stress. This results compare with without applying residual stress in plate i.e simple plate and find out what effect on plate of comparing that parameters. A parametric study of Rectangular and Square plate with edges simply supported and for a uniformly distributed load has been carried out. It is concluded that the STADD software provides more values using with residual stresses as compare to without residual stresses.

Performance Evaluation of Vermicomposting Pit by using Different Types of Solid Waste
-Joshi Pranali Dattatraya ; Kukale Shital Anantrao
Management of solid waste is one of the biggest problems we are facing today. The rapid increasing human population, urbanization and change in standard of living style has increased the waste load and there by pollution loads on the urban environment to unmanageable and alarming proportions. The existing waste dumping sites are insufficient and conditions leading to pollution of water sources and spreading infectious diseases, foul smell and odors, release of toxic metabolites, unhealthy environment etc. Vermicomposting is the better option to overcome this problem.. Vermicomposting is environment friendly and cost effective method for solid waste management. It serves two main purposes for the happiness of humans as it helps in the degradation of solid waste and the cast produced during this process is used as a natural fertilizer. This technique is much better than chemical fertilizer because it is not associated with any kind of risk. Earthworms are potentially important that are capable of transforming garbage into gold. Eisenia fetida is the most commonly used species of earthworms for vermicomposting. It becomes an important tool of waste recycling the world over. Read More...

Removal of Hexavalent Chromium using Adsorbent Made from Drumstick Seeds Activated Carbon (DSSAC)
-Prof Dr K N Sheth ; Tanvika M Patel
Saragava seeds (Moringa olefera) have been considered as agro-base product, which are very easily available. It is called drumstick. It is known that they have carbon contents. Attempts have been made to produce activated carbon (DSSAC) from them in a laboratory. They have been then employed for adsorption of chromium from the wastewater and they were found efficient for adsorption of chromium from the wastewater. All the experimental studies were batch studies, carried out in conical flask shacked with mechanical shaker. The filtration was done using Whatman No. 41 filter paper and the optical density was measured using the colourimeter. The weighing was done in digital balance. The adsorbents were prepared by impregnation with zinc chloride, at five different activation temperatures, i.e.3000 C, 4000 C, 5000 C and 6000 C. In the adsorption study of chromium, the effect of initial concentration of chromium solution on adsorption was studied at 0.5 mg/L,1.0 mg/L,2.0 mg/L and 3.0mg/L. The adsorbent dosage of 25mg/50mL, 30mg/50 mL, 35mg/50 mL, 40mg/50mL and 50 mg/50mL were used to determine the optimum dose of the adsorbents for removal of chromium from the wastewater. By using these optimum doses, optimum time were determined for each initial concentration and for the adsorbents prepared at various activation temperatures. Maximum removal of chromium was observed for all the four adsorbents but at temperature 5000C the effect is more. A comparative studies were made to evaluate the performance of DSSAC with commercially available PAC and GAC. It was observed that almost more of chromium removal was observed for DSSAC than PAC. In some cases, the removal of chromium using GAC was found to be lower than that of DSSAC. Read More...

Impact of Different Ionic Species in Removal of Fluoride by Adsorption
-Prof. Dr. K N Sheth ; Mehul Gohel
An attempt has been made in the present investigation to remove fluoride ion using GAC in absence of ionic species and also in presence of different ionic species like chlorides, phosphates and sulfates. During the experimentation it was evident that the GAC was found to be quite efficient in fluoride removal. Further it was inferred that the rate of adsorption was found to increase as the initial concentration of the adsorbent increased. With the increase in the rate of flow the rate of adsorption was found to decrease. Extensive experimentation was carried out to study the impact of presence of ionic species in adsorption of fluoride using GAC. It was interesting to conclude that the rate of adsorption decreased with the increase of the concentration of phosphate ionic species while the dissolved salts such as chloride and sulfate had shown no effect on uptake characteristics of GAC.
