Design of Eco Friendly Floating Floor
-Krishnanandh. B ; K. Kishan Patel; N. Madhanraj; G. Pavithra; Y. Sathya
The main theme behind this journal is to open a new initiative which can be complementary and compatible with other existing production methods in order to help reduce food risk associated problems in different areas of the globe and also to prevent the evaporation of surface water from the reservoirs. Then by using this floating slab the green energy can also be harvested by installing the solar panel over them. The reservoir surface temperature will be in an optimum range so it favors the power production. These can be achieved by the floating platform which is made of materials which enables the slab to satisfy the floating condition. In recent days lot of improvement in concrete based structure has been introduced and this will be one of the master pieces among them and it will be giving shape to many innovative imaginary ideas. Numerous ideas and schemes have been promoted and many have been executed. The advantages of floating concrete structures lie in the economy of the materials used (concrete is very well suited to aquatic environment), in the fact that it is easy to make concrete structures buoyant in the construction stage as well as permanently and for towing. Buoyancy force determines whether the object floats or sinks in water. Usage of proper material at proper mix ratio allows thin sections of high-strength concrete to be obtained. Even micro concrete can be used at certain extent. The present report has been prepared with the objective of promoting floating concrete structures by illustrating their advantages, by providing a summary of the various possible applications, explanations of when, where and how these systems may be used. This development of Floating type of concrete by using lightweight aggregate (Pumice stone) and Vermiculite and few other admixtures satisfy the floating condition. By using these above mentioned materials a good compressive strength value is obtained. Read More...

Utilization of Vegetable Wastes for Power Generation
-M. Jayamoorthy ; Anbarasan. K; Guhan. S
Our project is Utilization of Vegetable Wastes For Power Generation in which we are constructing a fuel cell. Vegetable wastes occur throughout the supply chain and vary widely depending on its processing. Globally, more than 30 % of the loss occurs at the retail and consumer levels, of which the post-harvest and processing level wastages account for the major share. The wastes so generated pose an environmental threat and call for the development of a pollution-free model. Studies on the characterization of unutilized, rotten, and discarded fractions of the vegetable wastes indicate their potential candidature for reprocessing. Generation of renewable energy by bioconversion of vegetable wastes is gaining importance as it has proved to be a proï¬cient means of utilizing the perishable vegetable residues. Researchers and industries are now fully engaged in a number of projects involving the technology of "waste to fuel" with a view to overcome the disposal problems. The present article deals with the studies conducted on vegetable wastes for production of various types of biofuel. Read More...

Implementation of Grid Connected PV System using Luo-Fuzzy with Maximum Power Point Tracking
-R. Gokulnath ; S. Banupriya; N. Balaji; T. Barathi
To get the maximum solar power from solar panel by implementing fuzzy logic controller using LUO converter with maximum power point tracking in real time application In this paper, uniform solar illumination model and partial shading model with two solar modules in series are proposed. A luo converter is adopted to adjust the output of solar panels obtained from a digital signal processor on a basis of the load impedance and the characteristics of solar panels. Finally, this study develops a power supply with the maximum short circuit current of 5A and maximum open circuit voltage of 60V. Load is changed time after time so as to depict V-I curve and verify the practicability of the power supply. Maximum power point trackers are so important to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic systems. Many methods have been proposed to achieve the maximum power that the PV modules are capable of producing under different atmospheric conditions. This paper proposed a fuzzy logic based Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm for solar system. The solar panel is simulated and analysed in MATLAB/SIMULINK. Photovoltaic system is connected to a DC-DC Luo converter. The Solar panel can produce maximum power at a certain operating point called Maximum Power Point (MPP).To achieve maximum power and to get maximum efficiency, the whole system must operate at that Maximum Power point. Maximum power point of PV panel keeps same on changing with changing solar irradiance and temperature of cell. Then to obtain maximum power from a PV system, MPPT algorithms are implemented. So that, fuzzy logic based MPPT is developed and Simulation results show the effective of the fuzzy based controller to produce more stable power. Read More...

Acoustic Emission Leak Detection of Liquid Filled Buried Pipeline
-S. Amarnath ; B. Dinesh Kumar; M. Janaki Raman; M. Saravana Pandian
It is the method of leakage position tracking and also the alert method of to interact and instruct the person itself. This incident happened in based on the unexpected disaster. This entire problem we avoid by using the some kind of automation or artificial intelligence method. Like continue monitoring based on cloud application and SMS and Mail help of the IOT. Because of this alert will make safe and better quantity flow in the line. This communication between the node to node based on flow of water. In proposed we are taking the smart tracking device for find the fault in the pipe line. Several limitations and difficulties exist in the inspection and maintenance of underground pipelines that cannot use pigs (pipeline inspection gauges). Leaking is unavoidable in such buried pipelines and poses serious problem to the environment as well as the pipeline owners. Pipeline leakages are usually apparent either when the pressure is dropping for no other obvious reason or when valuable product is lost. However, even in the best-case scenario, where the operators can isolate specific pipeline sections suspected to leak, it is often the case that the operators cannot reliably locate the exact position of the leak so as to take corrective measures. Acoustic emission (AE) is an excellent tool for detecting and locating leaks in buried pipelines. Access to the pipeline is required only locally for mounting AE sensors. Pipeline is pressurized and AE tested in 600-to-1000-m-long sections at a time. The AE sensors detect the turbulent flow at the leak orifice, and with the use of digital AE systems and specialized software, the position of the leak is provided. Read More...

Effect of Magnetic Field on the Performance of Internal Combustion Engine
-Sahil Milind Patil ; Pooja Chandrakant Patil; Nitesh Shivaram Vishe; Machhindra Kisan Zunjarrao; Sameer Chavan
The combustion efficiency in most internal combustion engines\petrol engines\diesel engines do not exceed (90%) so that part of the fuel does not burn and comes out with the exhaust gases, leading to increase flowing fuel consumption and increasing emissions in the atmosphere. Therefore, several work have been made to increase the combustion efficiency engine and reduce emissions through engine exhaust. In this era of increasing fuel prices, here a device called Magnetic Fuel Energizer help us to Reduce Petrol /Diesel / consumption in IC engines and reduces exhust emission gases. When fuel flow through powerful magnetic field created by Magnetic Fuel Energizer, the hydrocarbons change their orientation and molecules in terms change their configuration. Due to which molecules get realigned, and actively interlocked with oxygen during combustion to produce a mear complete burning of fuel in combustion chamber. As a result it gives more complete burning of fuel in the combustion chamber of the engine and reduces amount of exhaust gases through emission system of engine. Read More...

-Miss. Dipali N. Kalantri ; Prof. Payal Badole; Miss. Priyanka R. Watekar; Miss. Manaswi R. Devtale; Mr. Nikesh R. Wasekar
Cloud computing offer to the customers an economical as well as convenient pay-as-you-go service model. It also known as usage based pricing. Cloud customers only pay for the actual use for computing resources, storage, and bandwidth. It is all about according to their changing needs, utilizing the cloud’s scalable and elastic computational capabilities. In particular bandwidth is also an important issue when trying to minimize costs. Cloud customers applying a judicious use of the cloud’s resources. Also, they are motivated to use various traffic reduction techniques, in a particular traffic redundancy elimination (TRE), and for reducing bandwidth costs. Traffic redundancy are stems from common end users activities. Such as, repeatedly accessing, downloading, uploading, distributing, and modifying the information items. Traffic redundancy elimination is used to eliminate the transmission of redundant content and significantly reduce the network cost. In most common TRE solutions, both the sender and the receiver examine and compare signatures of data chunks. They parsed according to the data content. It is prior to their transmission. When repeated chunks are detected, the sender replaces the transmission of each repeated chunks with its strong signature. Read More...

Design and Fabrication of Green Dustbin for Waste Management
-Ankit Kumar Shukla ; Shardadevi R Dandage; Tushar J Uparikar; Mohd. Salman Mohd. Naim; Ankit Kumar Tiwari
India is the second largest product of fruits and vegetables in the world with 221.431 million metric tonnes. Rapid industrialization and population growth in India has led to the migration of people from villages to cities thereby generating thousands of tons of municipal solid waste everyday throughout the country. Urban India is reported to generate 68.8 million tones of MSW per year with a per capita waste generation rate of 500 g/person/day (Annepu, 2012).The disposal of food waste in landfills has severe environmental consequences that range from water pollution to the emission of greenhouse gases. Composting food waste and other organic waste produces an effective soil amendment that improves soil quality and is environmentally sustainable. Composting food waste allows communities to craft a marketable product that generates income from organic wastes that, if disposed in landfills, will merely decompose and pollute the environment. In this thesis we are decomposing the vegetables for further use of fertilizer for soil. As India is agricultural country, therefore it will improve the agricultural product. Installation of small green dustbin will help in unnecessary transportation, pollution and also dumping problem etc. Read More...

Increasing the Stability of Bitumen by using Polyphosphoric Acid
-Ranjeeta M ; Baswaraj N; Ashitosh; Ashwini Raikod; Pooja K
Modification of bitumen is one of the alternate solutions to improve the deficiencies of conventional bitumen. Modified bitumen fulfills many requirements and purposes cracking rutting etc are few failures in pavement which is due to high intensity of traffic, over loading of vehicles and significant variations in daily and seasonal temperature of the pavement. Investigations and literature has revealed that modifiers can be used to improve the properties of conventional bitumen and bituminous mixes to make it more suitable for pavement construction. Poly Phospheric Acid (PPA) is an example of reactive modifier that can be used by itself or in conjugation with suitable polymer. In general the concentration of PPA in bitumen is in the range from 0.2-1.2 wt% with an optimum 1.0wt%. The Marshall Stability test value is found maximum of 32.05KN for 12% poly phosphoric acid and 5.4% bitumen content which is more than plain bitumen. Mixes at bitumen content of 6% for 12% modifier and 6.5% for 0% modifier satisfies requirement of mix prepared with modified bitumen as per IRC: SP-53-2010. Modification of bituminous concrete mix has resulted in maximum stability with less bitumen content. Read More...

Case Study on Canal & Pipeline System in Irrigation Project
-Sudesh Muneshwar Chandewar ; Shradha A. Mahadik; Prashant L. Chandewar; Akash P. Sahastrabuddhe; Dharmveer Choudhary
The project is a minor irrigation project situated on chandi river project in godawari basin, in Tq Nandgaon Kh district Amravati Its distribution system consists of open canals of trapezoidal profile irrigation water transmit via main and branch canal to the distributor by gravity from reservoirs We have designed pipeline system minor at RD 1208 M of main canal. The averaged estimated conveyance efficiency in the irrigation network is considered around 50% due to seepage, leakage, and evaporation They have been used extensively since the 1950’s most buried-pipe distribution systems for surface irrigation operate with a maximum pipe pressure which does not exceed 5 m and is frequently less than 3 m of hydraulic head. Most low-pressure pipe systems have been constructed from non-reinforced concrete pipe, but HDPE pipe materials are now increasingly being used. It was justified that the pipeline systems is easier to automate than an open channel. Also, it was indicated that pipeline systems offer greater seepage control, ease of water diversion, and reduced maintenance. A low-pressure pipeline system is efficient in water delivery and requires less energy head compared with an open channel system. Read More...

Black cotton soil is fertile and very good for agriculture, but it is not so good for civil engineering works. Major source of power generation in India is the thermal power plants producing more than 150 million tons of fly ash annually as a by-product, due to combustion of the pulverized coal posing not only disposal problems but also serious health and environmental problems. To control these problems, the most commonly used method is addition of fly ash as a stabilizing agent usually used in combination with soil. In this study, fly ashes were used to investigate the effect of fly ash on the various potential of BC soil. Based on the favorable results, it was concluded that the fly ash could be successfully use as an effective additive in stabilization of problematic soils. Read More...

-Rushabh Devram Shende ; Dinesh N. Ram; Devanshu D. Sharma; Karan M. Sakhare; Rajbapu S. Jangam
This paper gives outlines Epicyclic internal gear pump where one sun gear is meshed with three planet gears to achieve variable discharge rate as per requirement. This paper describes techniques for the design, construction, and testing of an Epicyclic internal gear pump. In many applications it is required to drive the actuators hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motors at variable speed. This is only possible by variable discharge from a variable displacement pump (this pump has very high cost approx Rs.90000/-) so it is not possible to use it. One method employed is to use a pump of higher discharge capacity. But higher capacity means higher cost and higher power consumption. Hence there is need of special pump system at low cost so that the requirement of variable discharge is met easily without much cost and set up. Read More...

Review on Elastic Solution for Railway Super Structure
-Shubham Audumbar Kumbhar ; Pushkraj R Admile
This paper describes the rising demands in railway operations over the last 30 years with high speed application and demands in respect to comfort and environmental conditions, especially in view of noise and vibration has led to the development of new types of superstructures. In order to manage the special problems that come with high speed, like high impact load or noise and vibration problems, maintenance problems and problems due to the request for more comfort in rolling stock or problems arising from environmental request for reducing noise and vibration in urban regions, one general solution has been identified during a long development process. The introduction of elasticity into railway super-structure defined and designed to a specific application. The historical superstructure: rail, stiff fastening system, sleeper and ballast is not able to fulfill the modern requirements and therefore a new type of superstructure was born - the elastic superstructure. Getzner, one of the first companies in the world to have been involved since the beginning of this development process has built up a significant competence in the area of elasticity of modern superstructure. Today Getzner possess a wide range of engineering experience and a complete program of products, i.e. specially designed and tested resilient components - references all over the world - for railway application, which enables us to fulfill every specification in respect of elasticity, maintenance, noise and vibration. To give a short overview about Getzner's competence in this field, three main applications show the existing possibilities to bring elasticity into track: (1) rail and base plate pads for rail fasteners; (2) sub ballast mats; (3) sleeper pads; and (4) elastic supports for slab track and ballast troughs/mass-spring systems. Intelligent Wireless Doorbell using Arduino and RF Transmitter and Receiver Module
-Mrs. P. Suganya ; Krishna Agarwal; Aman Kumar; Neil Thakkar
The venture attempted in this paper covers the development of a remote doorbell. The significant thought behind the venture is to wipe out or limit the utilization of wires and to dispose of the static idea of the customary doorbells. To actualize this, the standard electric circuit is supplanted with a RF based transmitter collector circuit joined with an Arduino Uno board. The thought is to transmit a flag by means of the transmitter circuit utilizing a push catch. The transmitter circuit comprises of 434 MHz RF transmitter module working nearby a HT-12E Encoder circuit. When the push catch is squeezed the transmitter which is fueled by a 12 volts battery, starts to transmit motions as radio waves. These signs started to stream by means of the air until the point when they are caught by a beneficiary circuit radio wire. Consequently, the transmitter and the collector circuit should be available in the region of each other. The recipient circuit comprises of a 434 MHz RF collector module combined with a HT-12D Decoder IC which gets the radio wave flags and after that proselytes them into electrical signs. These electrical signs are then bolstered to the Arduino Uno board which is modified to get the directions. When it gets the guidelines, it at that point maps it over the customized code and on the off chance that they coordinate, the ringer starts to buzz. This rendition of the doorbell is anything but difficult to introduce and uninstall at whatever point the client requires, and it additionally takes out the static part of a doorbell which has not been altered since long time past days.
