Plotting Robot
-Sumant Raj Garg ; Prof. Chetan More
CNC represents Computer Numeric Control and ordinarily alludes to a machine whose task is controlled by a PC. The most well-known utilization of CNC, and the one applicable to us, is the name given to gadgets that, under PC control can cut, draw, process, etch, fabricate, turn and generally perform producing activities on different materials. Regularly, a CNC machine can move a cutting or 3D printing head in 2 to 6 tomahawks, implying that it can position that instrument head at an exact point in or on the material to make the cut or task wanted by then. By moving the head through numerous focuses, the cutting head can cut or shape the plan spoken to by an information stream of situating focuses being sent by the PC. By controlling a CNC machine through a PC it is workable for the client to plan an item on-screen, convert it to CNC-meaningful code and afterward send that information to the CNC machine for it to create a physical duplicate of the thing planned. Secure Home
-Nami J. Modi ; Modiya Kinjal B.
As we all know nowadays it’s the time of technology and home automation, so we are making the technique through which we can know who is on another side of the door without opening the door in our phone itself. After seeing who is on the other side of the door we can order automation device such as Alexa or Google home, to open the door automatically. It works as someone is at our doorstep, camera detects that person’s face and checks whether the person’s name is in database or not. If it matches then our device announces the name of the person, i.e. xyz is at your doorstep. If there is no data then it will only announce that unknown person is there. This process uses python and AI. This system is beneficial to handicapped people, old age people, as well as when small children are alone at home. This will provide security to house at comparatively low cost. Read More...

Study on Different Types and Shapes on Footing by using STAAD Pro and Effect of Load on Soil
-Shikha Verma ; Mayank Gupta; Sandeep Gupta
Soil-foundation-structure interaction can affect the seismic response. This work will study the effects of soil-foundation-structure interaction on the seismic response. Four types of foundations with frequency-based design were analysed, including spread foundation, mono pile, pile group with cap, and combined foundation. Soil is modelled both implicitly (subgrade reaction modulus) and explicitly. The finite element method using the Staad Pro program was first validated using experimental data. Recommendations were given to simplify the soil- foundation structure interaction analysis of seismic loading. In this research work we are comparing different shaped footing for same loading condition also soil bearing capacity to determine the best suitable and stale type of footing which can transfer load and also we are preparing cost analysis of all to determine the economical section using analysis tool staad.pro. In this study is can be concluded that Combined footing is comparatively more suitable and best in comparison with Oval or other cases whereas Oval footing is second best and Pad footing is showing worst result. The parameters used for analysis are selected such that they resemble the actual conditions. From the analysis, the method which gives the minimum ultimate bearing capacity for shallow foundation on top of the slope may be recommended for further design. Read More...

Design and Development of Electric Vehicle for Garbage Collection
-Akshay Ashok Shilimkar ; Mayur Ashok Shilimkar
Increasing long-term gasoline price and worries on the impact of emissions have encouraged alternative technologies like electric vehicles (EVs). As a part of the initiative to increase local air quality, cities encourage the adoption of EVs in mass transit system. Electrification is the most feasible way to achieve clean and efficient transportation that is crucial to the sustainable development of the entire world. In the near future, electric vehicles (EVs) including hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and pure battery electric vehicles (BEVs) will dominate the clean vehicle market .By 2020, it is expected that more than half of new vehicle sales will likely be EV models. For our study of the core aspects of electro mobility, we have chosen the areas of environment, politics, economy, society, infrastructure and technology. It is not possible to completely separate the content of these areas because there are complex Relations between them. Climate change and the conditions for the use of fossil resources (limited availability, price) are causing countries to change their climate and energy policies and are causing changes to their national societies. Politicians are answering to these changes with national emissions limits that unfortunately vary at international level. As a rule, these limits cover direct emissions of CO2 or other environmentally harmful gases. Electric vehicles do not produce direct emissions in the form of CO2. Read More...

Survey on Crawler for Harvesting Deep Web Interfaces
-Pooja M. Taide ; Vijaya Kamble
Due to heavy usage of internet large amount of diverse data is spread over it which provides access to particular data or to search most relevant data. It is very challenging for search engine to fetch relevant data as per user’s need and which consumes more time. So, to reduce large amount of time spend on searching most relevant data we proposed the “Smart Crawlerâ€. In this proposed crawler framework, which efficiently retrieves deep-web interfaces from large-scale sites, easily get the information which is stored in web databases. In the first stage, Smart Crawler performs site-based searching for center pages with the help of search engines, avoiding visiting a large number of pages. To achieve more accurate results for a focused crawl, Smart Crawler ranks websites to prioritize highly relevant ones for a given topic. In the second stage, Smart Crawler achieves fast in-site searching by excavating most relevant links with an adaptive link-ranking. To eliminate bias on visiting some highly relevant links in hidden web directories, we design a link tree data structure to achieve wider coverage for a website. Our experimental results on a set of representative domains show the agility and accuracy of our proposed crawler framework, which efficiently retrieves deep-web interfaces from large-scale sites and achieves higher harvest rates than other crawlers. We propose a two stages framework, namely Smart Crawler, for efficient harvesting deep web interfaces. Read More...

Water and Energy Saving System using Motion Sensors
-Ajay Vetti ; Aditya Jadhav; Shreya Deshmukh; Mayuri More; Mane S. S
A common thing we all often forget is to switch off the room lights and tap water. It’s one of common human tendencies to forget things at times. This usually leads to water as well as electricity wastage. To avoid this unnecessary wastage we present an innovative system. The Auto light and tap switcher automatically switches on lights as it detects a human presence in a room. The system is fitted with sensors and counters to keep count of persons in a room. The system switches off the lights if the person counter equals zero value. The same concept is applied to a wash basin; it switches off the water supply as soon as the system counter shows zero persons present and switches on when it counts presence. Thus the system saves a lot of energy as well as automates the lighting and washes basin process. Read More...

Images Steganography in Public Kay
-Mangoldip Saha ; Bidisha Pahari; Shirsendu Sain
In the present data age, data sharing and Exchange has expanded exponentially. The risk of a gate crasher getting to mystery data has been a regularly existing concern for the information correspondence specialists. Cryptography and steganography are the most generally utilized procedures to survive this risk. Cryptography includes changing over message content into an unintelligible cipher. Then again, steganography inserts message into a cover media and shrouds its reality. Both these systems give some security of information neither of only them is sufficiently secure for sharing data over an unbound correspondence channel and are defenceless against interloper assaults. Despite the fact that these methods are regularly joined together to accomplish more elevated amounts of security yet there is a need of an exceptionally secure framework to exchange data over any correspondence media limiting the risk of interruption. In this paper we propose a propelled arrangement of encoding information that joins the highlights of cryptography, steganography alongside media information stowing away. This framework will be more secure than some other these strategies alone and furthermore as contrasted with steganography & cryptography consolidated Frameworks Visual steganography is a standout amongst the most secure types of steganography accessible today. It is generally regularly actualized in image records. Anyway installing information into image changes its shading frequencies typically. To beat this consistency, we propose the idea of various cryptography where the information will be scrambled into a cipher and the cipher will be covered up into a sight and sound image document in scrambled arrangement. We will utilize customary cryptographic systems to accomplish information encryption and visual steganography calculations will be utilized to conceal the encoded information. Read More...

An Experimental Analysis of Bacterial Concrete from Food Wastage
-M. Shanmugaraj
The objective of the present investigation is to obtain the performance of the concrete by using bacteria from the food wastages. One such thought has lead to the development of a very special concrete known as Bacterial Concrete where bacteria is induced in the mortars and concrete to heal up the faults. Researchers with different bacteria have proposed different bacterial concrete’s. Bacillus cereus bacteria's are mostly available in the food wastages. Cement concrete cubes and Cylinders with four particular cell concentrations were cast and control specimen was also cast. This study showed a significant increase in the compressive strength was observed due to the addition of bacteria for a cell concentration ml of mixing water. By visual analysis, it is noted that pores were partially filled up by material growth with the addition of the bacteria. Reduction in pore due to such material growth will obviously increase the material strength. Concrete cubes with and without addition of bacteria were cast and it is observed that there is an improvement in the compressive strength for the cubes with the addition of bacteria. Concrete Cylinder with and without additions of bacteria were cast and it is observed that there is an improvement in the split tensile strength for the Cylinder with the addition of bacteria. A Review on Structural Behaviour of Hexagrid and Diagrid Structural Systems in Multi Storey Buildings
-Yash Bhardwaj
The advancement of technology and development of economy of the world have brought the new era of tall buildings. The most efficient building system for high rises has been the tube-type structural systems. Now-a-days, a particular structural system called a diagrid system has caught the attention of engineers. In order to improve the efficiency of tube-type structures in tall buildings, as both structural and architectural requirements are provided well, a new structural system, called "Hexagrid", is introduced in this study. It consists of multiple hexagonal grids on the face of the building. However limited academic researchers have been done with focus on the structural behaviour, design criteria and performance assessment of this structural system. Read More...

Structural Behaviour of Hexagrid and Diagrid Structural Systems in Multi Storey Buildings
-Yash Bhardwaj
More recently, the diagrid structural system with tubular behaviour is being employed as structurally efficient as well as architecturally satisfying structural system for tall buildings. Perimeter diagonals act as a facade, which governs the aesthetics of the building to a great degree. In order to improve the efficient of tube-type structures in tall buildings, a new structural system called Hexagrid (Beehive) is introduced in this paper. In the hexagrid structure system, almost all the conventional vertical columns are eliminated. Hexagrid structural system consists of Hexagrid perimeter which is made up of a network of multi-storey tall hex-angulated truss system. Hexagrid is formed by intersecting the diagonal and horizontal components. The project is focused to horizontal hexagrid pattern which aims to investigate the optimal angle and a topology of diagonal members in a hexagrid frame using finite element analysis and to study the structural properties of hexagonal structures so as to compare their potential efficiency with the conventional systems. This effect can be better appreciated by analyzing the results in terms of inter storey drift, time period and displacement. Read More...

Design and Re-Strengthening of Intze Tank using Steel Jacketing in Perspective to Revision of IS Code
-Nupur Gautam ; Rashmi Sakalle
Overhead tanks and storage tanks are used for storing water, liquid petroleum and similar liquids. Reservoir is a general term used for liquid storage structures and can be located below or above ground level. Cisterns below ground level are normally built to store large quantities of water. The overhead tanks are supported by the column that functions as a phase. This type of above ground water tanks is built for direct distribution of water by gravity flow and usually has a smaller capacity. Storage tanks above the head are used to store water. These main water tanks have been designed using IS: 3370. BIS has released the revised version of IS: 3370 (part 1 & 2) after a long time from the version from 1965 in 2009. The aim of my research work is to highlight the difference in the design parameters of Intze water tanks without taking into account earthquake forces. And Intze water tanks designed with earthquakes. The first design is based on the Indian standard code: 3370- 1965 and the second design is based on the Indian standard code: 3370-2009 and draft code 1893-part 2, (2005). Design of water tank in the current time according to all criteria of new IS code: 3370-2009 and new concept-IS code: 1893-2005 (part-2) then I will discover that Weather the water tanks is safe or not, which were designed using IS: 3370-1965 without taking into account earthquakes. After obtaining the information that - weatherproof - 'it is healthy' is whether the unsuitable method for adjustment afterwards will be studied and where necessary will be applied. Read More...

-Mr. Vijaykumar M Shelke ; Mr. Vijaykumar S Kolkure
In this paper, we consider an image decomposition
Model that provides a novel framework for image denoising. Image Denoising has been one of most important area of image processing and very important step in image preprocessing for over several decades. Image denoising is the process by means of which unwanted visual elements in an image is removed to make the image clear as well as better for processing. Various image processing algorithms have been proposed and validated over the years. Experiments on a whole image database tested with several denoising methods show that this framework can provide better results than denoising the image directly, both in terms of Peak signal-to-noise ratio and Structural similarity index metrics. Study on Seismic Induced Torsion of a Multi-Storied Building with Different Irregularities with And Without Base Isolation System
-Kusuma B
The rapid expansion of the urban population and consequential demand on limited space has significantly increased the construction of multi-storey buildings. Therefore, the principle objective of the Structural Engineer is to design and construct the structure by taking in to consideration, the dynamic actions caused on the building, in terms of earthquake forces, in such a way, that the damage caused to the structure due to these dynamic actions are minimized. The paper aims at evaluating the seismic actions by considering various CODAL provisions, which are particularly provided for the analysis of RC building with unsymmetrical configuration and with different types of irregularities. The analysis is carried out on a model of G+49 stories of RC framed structure with unsymmetrical floor plan located in Zone IV, soil type III, using finite element based ETABS (V 13.1) software. The various structural response parameters such as, storey displacement, storey drift, base shear and storey stiffness are determined by considering different irregularities such as mass irregularity, vertical geometric irregularity, re-entrant corner, diaphragm discontinuity and stiffness irregularity in the model and the structural parameters stated above are compared for the models having different irregularities. Seismic analysis is carried out using response spectrum method for both symmetrical and unsymmetrical building. The extensive literature survey is carried out by referring to the technical journal papers, books, articles, etc. to familiarize with fundamental concept of the topic. The need for research is identified and the procedure to carry out the analysis is formulated. The data required for the input is collected from IS code 1893 (Part I):2002. Then the analytical work is carried out as per the procedure formulated and the results are obtained and varied conclusions are arrived at. The major part of the study includes the comparison of values of set of response parameters such as, mode period, storey lateral displacement, storey drift, base shear and the storey stiffness. Every day solar cells run at an efficiency of 18-20% means that they convert 18-20% of solar energy to electric energy. To bring enough power we either need to improve the efficiency of our panels or find ways of extracting more electric source from our current solar panels. Nowadays we fix the solar panel at 45 degree angle in south direction. The simplest way of getting more energy from solar panel is to track the sun. In this project I am going to use Arduino, 9g Metal gear servos, LDR- Light Detecting Resistors, 5.5v solar cell, LED volt meter, Terminal block and some hardware product like Screws and Nuts for better structure. Arduino, in which all coding part will be done. Servos are used for 3d rotation. LDR- Light Detecting Resistors help to detect the light which is coming from sun. Solar cell convert the solar energy in to electric energy. Volt meter I am using, is get power directly from the Solar Cell. We can also connect the volt meter to the Arduino using Sensor shield. Iterative Quad Tree Decomposition Based Selection, and Detection and Segmentation of Breast Tumor Images using Region Growing Snake Contours
-Kulveer Kaur ; Ms. Manmeen Kaur
Mammography is currently the best method for detecting a breast cancer early, before the malignant tissue is substantial enough to feel or cause symptoms. However, the interpretation of a mammogram is often difficult and depends on the expertise and experience of the radiologist. Most of the problems or limitations in mammography can be overcome by using digital image processing techniques. Computer-aided-diagnosis (CAD) system can be used to assist the radiologists and the physicians analyses the overall images, and find tumors that a radiologist might not spot. Combining computer-aided-diagnosis with mammography will improve the ability to find cancer. There are number methods researched by scholars for medical image segmentation in which region growing and contour gradient based methods work efficiently at the tumor boundaries. But major requirement for such methods need a starting point or called as seed point in between the tumor. Their fore accuracy of actual tumor detection depends highly on the truly detected seed point.. Also the second drawback is their location such that they found near the boundary areas of tumor which results in the leakage of segmentation algorithms through weak boundary points. All these limitations has been covered in this work. Iterative quad tree has been improved with the help of morphological operations which gives seed point at the centroid of the tumor. Experimental results shows that proposed method gives high accuracy in truly segmentation of breast tumors in collected dataset. Read More...

Stress Analysis of Half Toroidal Continuously Variable Transmission System
-Akash R. Sardar ; Prasad P. Patil
The continuously variable transmission, or CVT, continues to emerge as a key technology for improving the fuel efficiency of automobiles with internal combustion (IC) engines. A toroidal continuously variable transmission (CVT) has an elliptical shape in the contact area, which resulting high contact stress and transmits the power. Many parameters affect the contact stress of the half toroidal CVT, which include the properties of the contacting material (Young’s modulus), operating parameter (input load) and geometrical parameters (aspect cavity ratio, curvature ratio and half cone angle of the power roller, transmission ratio). In this paper, the contact between the input disk and the power roller are formulated using the classical Hertzian contact theory. Based on the formulated equations, different system parameters, which affect the maximum Hertzian contact stresses, are compared with the simulated results generated in ANSYS. The comparative results will provide some observations of the relations between the maximum Hertzian stresses and input load in the form of graphs for different materials (i.e. 100Cr6/Si3Ni4, 100Cr6/Ni75%, Cr 14%, Fe 10%, 100Cr6/100Cr6, 100Cr6/Ni70 %, Cu 30 %). These graphs give useful information for designer to know the maximum Hertzian stress during operation in such systems. Read More...

-Ameya Mulay ; Ameya A. Mulay; Ankush K. Gaikar; Shrikant S. Gangawane; Laxman N. Fadol
Our project Roller Guide Alternating Mechanism is sponsored by “ThyssenKrupp Electric Steel India PVTâ€. The company is known for their processed steel for electrical component. In addition to the steel production, Thyssenkrupp's products range from industrial services and machines, elevators and shipbuilding. A branch of Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems also manufactures frigates, corvettes and submarines for the German and foreign navies. Our project is related to the Tandem Annealing and Decarburizing Line (TADL).In cooling region the very first support roller is near to the heating zone and gets affected by the heating. Because of heat the roller bearings gets jam which causes scratches on the processed sheet. This roller assembly needs to be changed after interval of 1 month regularly. Is take time about 45-60 minutes. Due to this delay the company bears the loss of 1.5 lakhs monthly. For this we design a simple mechanism which will help to change the roller without stoppage of production link. So we decided to design a mechanism similar to the toggle jack which helps to reduce the scrap and the damage over the processed product, which will help to increase the production rate. Read More...

Utilization of Solar Thermal Energy Storage using Phase Change Materials: A Review
-Joyal J ; Rajkumar R; Gokul R; Dhanraj P; Arunkumar S
Now a day’s reduction in the fossil fuels availability leads to the energy crisis. Renewable sources like solar energy being a major replacement for the fossil fuels deficiency, utilization of such renewable energy effectively without any energy losses is a major challenge since the energy requirement is rising day by day. This paper is about utilizing the solar thermal energy using Phase Change Materials (PCMs). Thermal Energy Storage (TES) System serves as alternatives for the conservation of energy efficiently. PCMs have the capability of storing large amount of energy for lateral purpose. A good PCMs should have high heat of fusion, high thermal conductivity, high specific heat and density, long term reliability, and dependable freezing behavior. However high level of utilization is possible only if the effective technology for its storage can be developed with acceptable costs. PCMs for TES should be encapsulated, because they are generally solid-liquid phase change materials. This paper reviews about Thermal Energy Storage systems and PCMs characteristics and their behavior. Read More...
