A Review on High Speed CRC Encoder and Decoder Based on FPGA
-Shraddha Dnyaneshwarrao Datir ; Dr. R.D. Ghongade (HOD)
Cyclic redundancy check (CRC) technique is one of the most efficient error detection method, which used to detect single and burst errors. CRC method adds redundancy bits to the original data. The reminder of division between original message and selected polynomial is represents redundancy bit. At the receiver side, the received data can be recognized as valid or not. Generally speaking, (CRCs) are used to detect errors from noise in digital data transmission. The technique is also sometimes applied to data storage devices, such as a disk drive. They also have been turned to verify the integrity of files in a system in order to prevent tampering and suggested as a possible algorithm for manipulation detection codes .A Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) is the remainder or residue of binary division of a potentially long message, by a CRC polynomial. Per packet operation is necessary for IP protocol, design a new efficient technique using FPGA in case of CRC .This approach is memory efficient and operate at high speed, since most of method currently employed based on look up table consume more time ,more space and also there will be a ROM which stores the look up table. This paper presents high speed CRC encoder and decoder using FIELD PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAY, to increase throughput pipeline method is used. Read More...

-M. Venkata Ramana Reddy ; G. Sreenivasulu
High resolution color remote sensing Aerial images and also undertaken to remove the shaded region in the both urban, rural areas and manmade buildings. The existing methods are Model-based method and shadow-feature-based methods, to detect the shaded region and then eliminate that region, but it have some drawbacks. Shadows may cause incorrect results during change detection. It is not suitable for high resolution images. The proposed Relative Radiometric Correction Method used for shadow detection. Shadow detection is used during image segmentation. Shadows are removed by using the homogeneous sections obtained by line pair matching. There are two approaches for shadow removal. One approach calculates the radiation parameter according to the homogeneous points of each object and then applies the relative radiation correction to each object. The other approach collects and analyzes all the homogeneous sections for polynomial fitting (PF) and retrieves all shadows directly with the obtained fitting parameters. Read More...

-Kanike Vijay Kumar ; P Kishor Kumar
In Real Time, Automatic face identification of characters in movies has drawn significant research interests and led to many interesting applications. It is a challenging problem due to the huge variation in the appearance of each character. Although existing methods demonstrate promising results in clean environment, the performances are limited in complex movie scenes due to the noises generated during the face tracking and face clustering process. We present two schemes of global face-name matching based framework for robust character identification. The contributions of this work include the following. 1) A noise insensitive character relationship representation is incorporated. 2) We introduce an edit operation based graph matching algorithm. 3) Complex character changes are handled by simultaneously graph partition and graph matching. 4) Beyond existing character identification approaches, we further perform an in-depth sensitivity analysis by introducing two types of simulated noises. The proposed schemes demonstrate state-of-the-art performance on movie character identification in various genres of movies. Read More...

Optimizing the Strength of Rigid Pavement by Replacing Class F Fly Ash in Geopolymer Concrete by Coconut Fiber Ash
-Brijesh kumar Sahu ; Prof. Rajesh Joshi
Geopolymers are a type of inorganic polymer & light weight material that can be formed at room temperature with less energy losses by using industrial waste or by-products as source materials to form a solid binder. Geopolymer concrete is manufactured from utilization of waste material from industrial waste such as fly ash. Geopolymer concrete is a type of by which we can be used in applications to fully or partially replace OPC with environmental and technical alternative to Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) based concrete. In the manufacture industry the creation of Portland cement causes the secretion of air pollutants which results in environmental contamination. It reduces 80 - 90% CO2 emissions. Coconuts fiber is collected from temples & shops and it is burn in open air then the ash obtained by coconut fiber ash is passed through 150 micron sieve. And then replacement of class f fly ash by coconut fiber fly ash replace 0%, to 1.5% and when it is increase from 1.5% i.e. up to 2% result obtained is decreasing in compressive strength. Fly ash plays a vital role in Geopolymer concrete, and class f fly ash is used in construction purposes which contain 10% of lime also to replace the use of conventional ordinary Portland cement. The binding agent is the only difference to the ordinary Portland cement concrete because OPC is responsible for high content of energy losses and it requires high temperature for manufacturing. To trigger the substance in fly ash, sodium hydroxide solution and sodium silicate solution was used in amalgamation. Read More...

Waste Plastic Usage to Improve Properties of Bitumen in Road Construction
-Manoj Kumar Verma ; Prof. Rajesh Joshi
In the road construction various types of materials and design methods are used, for the reduction of environmental pollution, use of plastic waste in road construction is one of them. Since the plastic waste material is non-biodegradable, the use of plastic waste material in road construction can help us to reduce the plastic waste pollution to some extent. A lot of research is going on all over the country to solve the problems which are related to the road construction. The plastic waste (Low density polymer) in bitumen helps in increasing life of flexible pavement. Generally life of flexible pavement is 4 to 5years, while it is claimed that the plastic waste bitumen roads can last up to 10 years. In this study, I have compare the results of normal bitumen and plastic waste (LDP) mix bitumen, to get the idea of how much percentage of plastic waste can be added in bitumen with respect to the weight of bitumen for the optimum performance of mix. Results shows that as the percentage of plastic waste (LDP) is increased at 1.0%,3.0%,6.0% and 9.0% with respect to the weight of bitumen, the softening point bitumen plastic waste (LDP) mix increases, flash and fire point increases, penetration value decreases and ductility value decreases. Marshall Stability of dense bituminous mix at 1.0%, 3.0%, 6.0% and 9.0% of plastic waste (LDP), the flow value of mix decreases and the stability increases therefore; the optimum percentage of plastic waste (LDP) to get the desirable result is 3%. As curing is most important process in concreting and it requires large amount of water, an alternate approach is taken to reduce the water requirement and to increase its strength properties than conventional concrete. So we go for PEG-400 as an admixture to attain internal curing of concrete. In this method hydration is done by lockingthe water content added for mixing from evaporation and by forming a thin film over it. PEG-400 is added in the ratios 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% in the weight of cement. Since PEG-400 is soluble in water it can be added along with water in mixing process. Hence self-curing can be an alternate method for conventional curing methods. Read More...

-A. D. Latha ; C. S. Naveen; V. Naveenkumar; C. Sangeethkumar
In our country the sugarcane usage is very high, so the most of farmer planting the sugarcane in their land. In 2017 India planting the sugarcane in 4.7 million hectares (MH) and 330 million metric tons (MMT) of sugarcane produced. Normally the Sugarcane planting is a very labour intensive job and involves considerable human power. Cost of sugarcane planting is very high, example the sugarcane is plant in one Acer they need to spend almost 10hrs also they gives 3000RS labour cost for planting .The cost of sugarcane planting by mechanized method is less compared to traditional methods. We design roller with hopper and piling equipment for planting the sugarcane to the soil also we provide a land wheel, the speed of land wheel is automatically adjusted with tractor speed while planting. When we use the machine for planting the sugarcane it plant a large amount of sugarcane in minimum time or short period, and also the investment cost is less for planting. So we can design the fabricate the machine for planting the sugarcane. Read More...

Experimental Investigation on Mechanical Characteristics of Jute FRP Composites Subjected to Loading
-Gunnam Bharath Reddy ; Mr. K. Namcharaiah
The present investigation deals with Fiber-reinforced polymer composites that played a dominant role for a long time in a variety of applications for their high specific strength and modulus. The fiber which serves as a reinforcement in reinforced plastics may be synthetic or natural. Past studies show that only synthetic fibers such as glass, carbon etc., have been used in fiber-reinforced plastics. Although glass and other synthetic fiber-reinforced plastics possess high specific strength, their fields of application are very limited because of their inherent higher cost of production. In this connection, an investigation has been carried out to make use of jute, a natural fiber abundantly available in India. Natural fibers are not only strong and lightweight but also relatively very cheap. The present work describes the development and characterization of a new set of natural fiber based polymer composites consisting of jute as reinforcement and epoxy resin. The newly developed composites are characterized with respect to their physical and mechanical characteristics. Experiments are carried out to study the effect of fiber loading on physical and mechanical behavior of these epoxy based polymer composites. This work also includes the comparison of elastic properties of composites using micromechanical models with experimental and existing analytical formulations like rule of mixture, Halpin-Tsai, and Lewis and Nielsen models that are used extensively in material modelling. In this system, the vehicles can stop automatically when it violates the traffic rules at a road intersection. The traffic police cannot able to find and stop the vehicles who are not following the traffic rules at rush time. In this project by providing a control system we can stop and give penalty to the person who violates at traffic lines. Through this project we can avoid unnecessary road accidents inside the city also. In this project we introduce a system that detects all kinds of violations at a street intersection such as red light running, speed violation, stop line violation and lane violation by tracking individual vehicles. The IR modules fixed in under zebra line as well as vehicle unit. The RF transmitter is activated by IR modules when the vehicle crosses the zebra line during stop sign. The RF receiver module is fixed in vehicle engine controller mechanism which used to deactivate the engine ignition when it receives the signal from transmitter unit. The information about the violated vehicles is automatically updated in traffic control unit which is used provides penalty for that particular vehicle owner by using GSM technology. Read More...

-Manikkavasagan K ; Surendran R
Biodiesels obtained from vegetable oils and animal resources have been considered as a promising alternate fuel. Many researches were performed blending diesel with single biodiesel. Only very few works were done with the combination of two different biodiesel blended with diesel. In this experimental study, two Biodiesels from Cotton Seed oil and Rice Bran oil blended with Diesel at various mixing ratio (CSME5, RBME5 and CSME10, RBME10). The fuel properties of the blends were tested for its acceptance in accordance with ASTM standards. The performance tests were done with two blends (5% & 10%) at various loads with constant engine speed of 1500 rpm and the results were compared. The performance characteristics observed for 10% blends are similar to that of diesel. The Brake power and Brake thermal efficiency are lower for 5% blends compared to 10% blends however the Brake specific fuel consumption of 5% blends are higher than that of 10% blends. This experimental analysis revealed that the combined blend of CSME10 & RBME10 showed that superior performance than the blend of CSME5 & RBME5. Read More...

Automatic Door Access using Face Detection
-Zohair Siddiqui ; Manmeet Singh; Sumit Shrivastav; Mr. Kashif Shaikh
The emergence of high-resolution digital cameras for recording of still images and video streams that has had a significant impact on how communication and entertainment have developed during the recent years. At the same time Moore’s law has made too many computing powers readily available that only some 20 years ago was reserved for high profile research establishments and intelligence services. These two tendencies have respectively called for and fostered the advent of unprecedented computationally heavy image processing algorithms. Algorithms that in turn have allowed for new processing of existing image based material. Parallel to this technological development the measures deployed in the protection against attacks from the enemies of modernity calls for more surveillance of the public space. As a result of this regrettable circumstance more video cameras are installed in airports, on stations and even on open streets in major cities. Whether or not the purpose is entertainment or dead serious surveillance, tasks like detection and recognition of faces are solved using the same methods. Due to the varying and generally adverse conditions under which images are recorded there is a call for algorithms which is capable of working in an unconstrained environment. Read More...

-Nithya Jenev J ; Mrs. P. Vanitha
A novel model-free solution algorithm, swarm algorithm for efficiently solving the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) problem of PV systems under partial shading conditions. A PV system which controls the power generation with its operating voltage is considered. A swarm algorithm (SA) model is incorporated into the iterative search process to guide the update of candidate solutions (operating voltage settings) in the SA and such extension is capable of improving the tracking performance. Simulation studies and experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed SA algorithm for better addressing PV MPPT problems considering a variety of partial shading conditions. The performance of the proposed algorithm is benchmarked against the JAYA and the particle swarm optimization (PSO), which has been widely considered in the model-free MPPT, to demonstrate its advantages. Results of simulation studies and experiments demonstrate that the SA algorithm converges faster and provides a higher overall tracking efficiency. Read More...

A Unique Approach for Smart Ambulance using Intelligent App Control System
-Ravi Verma ; Er. Piyush Rai
Today the major issues for any highly crowded metropolitan cities or any small cities is road traffic congestion. Road traffic congestion causes traffic jams, which affects major services and ambulance service is one of them. As a solution, this paper has come up with "Intelligent app controlled GPS enabled smart ambulance". To implement the intelligent control system, it makes use of Machine Learning technology and a unique model of ambulance which adjust its shape according to traffic. The proposed system uses an android app that connects a user (patient) with the nearest ambulance and that ambulance which is fully automatic controlled by server gets the shortest path using GPS and Google maps and then reach to the patient. After picking the user/patient in case of emergency it automatically found the nearest hospital listed on Google map and alert message sent to that hospital. To make aware public about this service, the "Road safety Authority of India" will advertise. Also there will cloud management of the details to avoid misuse. The app is linked with AADHAR so that no one can misuse and also the health track will be stored on cloud. It acts as a lifesaver project as it saves the time in emergency period. Because in 90% cases the death cause is delay in either reaching the hospital or traffic congestion. Read More...

Finite Element Analysis of Railway Bridge Piers using Mathematical and Computational Platform
-Vikas Singh Chouhan ; Lavina Talawale
Most of the sub-structures of new railway river bridges in INDIA are built with solid mass concrete gravity piers and abutments. These piers do not have steel reinforcement to bear the load as it does not subject to any tensile stress under regular type of loading. Safety of these piers is of major concern during high magnitude earthquake as frequent occurrence of such earthquakes is observed in India in recent times. This study aims to assess the vulnerability of the solid gravity bridge piers which forms the important component of railway bridges as the load transfer between substructure and superstructure takes through them. In the present study seven existing piers from the state of MADHYA PRADESH are evaluated using free vibration analysis and nonlinear static (pushover) analysis. Free-vibration analysis of the bridge pier shows that the mass participation of fundamental mode is always below 50%. Also, the cumulative mass participation for first six modes is found to be less than 80% for the entire selected bridge pier. This indicates the significant contribution of higher modes. Read More...
