-S. Sridevi ; U. Palani
In this paper, Convolution Neural Network (CNN) and Gustafson kessel algorithm proposed with filter back projection for taking care of inverse problems in biomedical images. Different techniques were executed like iterative reconstruction strategy and so on. It gives great outcome yet there will be a few downsides. To beat this inconvenience, CNN and Gustafson kessel algorithm is executed in this paper. The beginning stage of our work is the perception that unrolled iterative reconstructions have the type of a CNN is trailed by point-wise nonlinearity when the normal operator of the forward model is a convolution. In view of this observation we propose utilizing direct inverse took after by a CNN to take care of typical convolutional inverse problems. The immediate inversion encapsulates the physical model of the framework, yet prompts artifacts when the issue is not well represented; the CNN consolidates multiresolution decomposition and residual learning so as to figure out how to expel these antiques while saving image structure. Efficient and Smart Attendance System using Wi-Fi
-Jay Fursule ; Prajyot Tingre; Mukesh Tayde; Ichchhanand Kasture; Harshal Jaiswal
Marking attendance in any organization used to be troublesome due to use of pen and paper scheme. Until today, most lecturers in universities are found still using the conventional methods of taking students' attendance either by calling out the student names or by passing around an attendance sheet for students to sign confirming their presence. In addition to the time-consuming issue, such method is also at higher risk of having students cheating about their attendance, especially in a large classroom. Therefore a method of taking attendance by employing an application running on the Android platform is proposed in this project. This application, once installed the student list can be provided individually or from already created excel sheet. Based on the provided list of students, the professor android hotspot used to connect the present student device wifi. Professor android device will then act like a scanner to scan each of the student android device MAC address using wifi manager class, to one by one confirm and verify the student's presence. The updated attendance list is then stored locally in the respective professor's android device. And can also be saved as a file to be transferred to a PC later on. This system will help to eliminate the current problems, while also promoting a paperless environment at the same time. Since this application can be deployed on lecturers' own existing Android devices, no additional hardware cost is required. Read More...

A Critical Review: Cold and Hot Exhaust Gas Recirculation on Diesel Engine
-Kapil Yadav ; Nirav Joshi
Today most of the transport vehicles in countries like India where cost effective is the predominant criteria utilize diesel engines rather than petrol engines. From past 5 years usage of diesel engines was rapid which can be addressed from the sales report of many automobile companies. The reason behind this could be cost of diesel fuel and efficiency of the diesel engine when compared to petrol engine. One of the main problems associated with diesel engine is the formation of high levels of NOx, which is a temperature-dependent phenomenon. In order to reduce NOx emissions from the engine, it is necessary to keep peak combustion temperatures under control. This paper aims at the critical review on the effect of Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR) both cold and hot, on the exhaust gas temperatures, NOx emissions, efficiency etc. The exhaust gas temperature, Nox and hydrocarbon emissions, and efficiency were compared for different percentages of hot and cold EGR for diesel. Smart Monitoring System for Bridge Safety
-Swapnil Chavan ; Sagar Kulkarni; Prashant Harde; Ms. Shital Jadhav
In developing countries like India there is strong focus on national infrastructure .New bridges are built every year. The maintenance of these bridges is many times overlooked. Whenever bridge collapses so many people losses their family member. This happens because there is no application which will send the alert message to the user when the movement of the bridge is detected or when the bridge is collapsed. For this reason the government of India have also develop some applications which will help the public and will save the families. But as so many people are not at all aware of such applications so they were never used or not at all used. And because of this the amount of accidents happened because of the collapsing of the bridge never decreased. As the bridge is so much important, because of the bridge the people can reach to their home, cross the rivers etc. So the safety of that bridge and the people who are using that bridge is also important. Till now there is no such application developed which will send the alert message to everyone near the surrounding area or to the police if the water level increased and the water starts coming on the bridge. An Adaptive Approach for Detection of Black hole Attack in Mobile Ad Hoc Network
-Samiksha Singh
Security is an essential component for mobile ad hoc network (MANET). In order to provide security against attacker, researchers are working specifically on the security challenges in MANETs, and many techniques are proposed for secure routing protocols within the networks. Our proposed work presents a more efficient solution for detecting a black hole attack with less communication cost in the MANET, which is particularly vulnerable compared to infrastructure-based networks due to its mobility and shared broadcast nature. As an adversary can successfully deploy black hole attack in the network. It can be seen that proposed work is more secure than the existing solutions. We also compared its performance to standard AODV routing protocol. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is better than standard AODV. Read More...

Vermi Sludge Treatment Wetland
-Ms. Pooja Vijay Kalyani ; Mr. Dhanajay S. Patil
Three pilot-scales Vermi Sludge Treatment Wetland (VSTWs) have been constructed and operated treating sewage sludge from Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Ichalkarnji, and Dist-Kolhapur. Quantification of the dewatering mechanisms in these systems (i.e., evapotranspiration and draining) is attempted here, and the effects of different parameters, i.e., the level of sludge loading, the presence of plants, the substrate materials used etc., on these mechanisms are presented. Results reveal that evapo-transpiration is the major dewatering process that takes place in STW systems, accounting for 58–84% of total water losses, depending on unit characteristics, sludge loading, season and other parameters. Draining follows in significance, with respective values varying from 13% to 47% of total water losses, while 1% to 4% of water remains in the sludge layer. The presence of wetland plants was found necessary, since it improved the dewatering efficiency. Precipitation and temperature were also found to affect the dewatering process under climatic conditions. Since Earthworms are used change in solid concentration is observed. Also as they survived in sludge, the final bioproduct has a good fertile quality. Read More...

-D. G. Gahane ; Bhushan Parate; Mohit Bokade; Apeksha Meshram; Neha Ukey
Voice calls are powerful tools used for promoting products and in disseminating messages and information. The biggest advantage of blasting of voice calls is that it takes the message to a large number of people in a relatively shorter period of time. Call blasting helps to reach your target audience in the easiest, fastest and most cost effective way. It is a popular method of direct marketing. Industry groups such as insurance, real estate, telemarketing, healthcare, direct sales, and educational institutes etc, where the important information, messages, alert, promotional activities inform to client, employees customer which takes lots of time by calling one by one. Call blasting system solve this problem and save important time simply by sending pre-recorded voice message to thousands of people’s phone numbers simultaneously. Where we need to record a voice message that we intend to blast to large number of contacts. Next thing we need to specify numbers in the call blast campaign where message need to blast. Once we decide the time for the call blast our system call all numbers simultaneously and play the recorded voice message. This may be very valuable especially when an organization is manpower constrained and there is a large donor list to call periodically. It is a super effective method to reach inform our client, customer, and employees about any important updates that they should know about, all in singe go with our call blasting system. Read More...

Securing Cloud Cluster Environment from DDoS Attacks
-Prof. S. V. Bodake ; Sonalisha Behera; Sanjeevani Jadhav
Many systems use servers to manage and store their data, sometimes the servers are slowed down because of multiple user requests. Most of which are attackers or unauthorized users and some are legitimate users. In computing, a denial-of-service (DoS) attack is an attempt to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its genuine users. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) is where the attack source is more than one, often thousands of unique IP addresses are included. Flooding is one of the typical DDoS attacks that exploit normal TCP connections between a client and a target web server. In this project we are trying to devise a DDoS anomaly detection method on Hadoop that implements a Map Reduce-based detection algorithm against the Flooding attacks. Read More...
