A Review Paper on Unified Threats Management
-Prof. Ms. Pranita P. Deshmukh ; Ms. Kshama V. Gade; Ms. Arti P. Falke; Mr. Shubham Shendre; Mr. Vaibhav Bode
Unified Threat Management (UTM) is an emerging development in the firewall security market. It is then evolution of the traditional firewall that not only guards against intrusion but performs content filtering, spam filtering, intrusion detection and anti-virus duties traditionally handled by multiple systems. UTM firewall is the only firewall that inserts user identity in firewall rule matching criteria, enabling creativities to configure policies and identify users directly by the username rather than through IP addresses. It is a powerful hardware firewall that provides stately and deep packet inspection thereby protecting enterprises from IP spoofing attacks, access control, user authentication, and network and application- level protection. This paper will discover the advent of UTM working criteria, functions and prove how it is better in comparison with the ordinary firewall and VPN. Read More...

Design of High Efficiency Maximum Power Point Tracking Based Solar Inverter
-Venkatagiri. S ; Vijay Kumar. D; Madhavi A T
Solar energy is converted to electrical energy by photo-voltaic (PV) cells. This energy is stored in batteries during day time for the utilization purpose whenever required. This project is designed to use solar energy for household loads using an inverter. A solar inverter, or PV inverter, converts the direct current (DC) output of a photovoltaic solar panel into a utility frequency alternating current (AC) that can be fed into a commercial electrical grid or used by a local, off-line electrical network. In this paper, the solar energy is stored in the battery from Photo-Voltaic cells. This stored energy of the battery is converted to AC supply of 50Hz frequency using PWM inverter IC with MOSFET gate driver IC to the driver MOSFET bridge and step-up the voltage by a transformer, all in off line network only but not grid tie type. For demo purposes a battery of SMF type of &.5 AH (not supplied it is generally used in small UPS) is required to be used as solar cells required would be of very high power type costing very high. Furthermore, this project can be added with a charge controller with over and under voltage protection and over load protection. Read More...

Sewage Line Block Detection through WSN
-Dr. S. Senthil Rani ; B. Manigarasivam; M. S. Muthuvel Raj; K. Vengatesh
A Wastewater Collection System (WCS) collects and transports wastewater generated from households and industries to treatment plants or disposal sites by means of a system of underground pipelines. During the transportation process a periodic inspection and maintenance of sewer pipe must be performed particularly for aging pipes reaching or past its life expectancy since WCS components are prone to damage from aging, excessive traffic, and biochemical reactions. Clogged drainage systems are the major cause of pollution and frequent flooding in Metro cities especially during the rainy season. Thus, it is required to routinely monitor the condition of these drainage systems. The proposed system provides a way to monitor remotely drainage conditions and inform authorities of these conditions. Blockages in drainage systems are detected through monitoring of water levels inside the drainage. The design consists of water level sensors which read the water levels and the GSM module is used to wirelessly send this information back to a central server that monitors all drainages throughout the area. To overcome these problems, a wireless sensor network system that detects, identifies, and localizes major anomalies such as blockage and leakage that arise in steam flood and water flood pipelines in oilfields have been proposed. Improving Soil Stability by using Geo-Grid Made by Waste Plastic Material (I.e. Packaging Ribs)
-Suyash Kamalakar Talele
Road pavements are vulnerable (weak) to soil performance because the foundation of the pavement is a roads most important element. And if the sub grade layer of pavement consists of expansive soil (black cotton soil), due to changes in moisture content and subsequent shrinkage and swelling, it undergoes failure. Thus, for the construction on such type of soil it is required to improve the engineering properties of soil or to replace the soil itself. Replacing the existing soil might not be a practical and feasible option, thus it is required to stabilize the soil with suitable stabilizer. However the selection of stabilizer depends upon the type of sub-grade soil, type of soil improvement desired, availability of stabilizer, the required strength and durability of stabilized layer, various stabilizing techniques, environmental conditions and the most important cost factor. This paper reviews the work of various researchers on stabilization of soil and use of geo-synthetic materials in improving its strength. The present study investigates the improvement in the bearing capacity of silty clay soil with thin sand layer on top and placing geogrids at different depths. Model tests were performed for a rectangular footing resting on top of the soil to establish the load versus settlement curves of unreinforced and reinforced soil system. The test results focus on the improvement in bearing capacity of silty clay and sand on unreinforced and reinforced soil system in non-dimensional form. The results show that bearing capacity increases significantly with the increased number of geogrid layers. The bearing capacity for the soil increases with an average of 16.67% using one geogrid layer at interface of soils. Read More...

-Prof. Rajeshree V. Ambulkar ; Akash D. Upadhyay; Anand M. Kawade; Krishnakumar N. Kawale; Ahinsak K. Ukey
Green house farmers cannot precisely detect level of level of humidity inside the green house. They only know the condition inside the greenhouse manually and by feel it by themselves. Ultimately, experiences play a bigger part on their daily operations. If the condition is too dry, they will give water to the plants or soil, but if it is too humid, they will open the rooftop of the green house, especially in the daylight. In designing this device, there is limitation to problems, to see how far this system can do its tasks. This limitation according to the situation where this system will be used later. This embedded system for monitoring and controlling the green house is based on measuring the humidity and temperature by sensor that located at different places. The monitoring and controlling is conducted through Android Smartphone. Read More...

-B Aji Selvam ; Shajini G Inbakani; T. Shilaja
In this proposed system, we discuss the universal issues about energy management for renewable resource, Wind / Photovoltaic (PV) hybrid power system in order to improve energy efficiency with LED's as the light source and placing the wind turbine in addition to solar. The use of LED allows energy saving, high luminous efficiency and high useful life to the proposed system. And in the same way the position of the turbine plays a major role, we had overcome that design for effective power production. By placing the short armed turbine in the horizontal path due to the too and fro motion of the vehicles air pressure is developed on the blades of the turbine. The pressure is developed from both the directions keeps the turbine in continuous motion of all the vehicles such as Trucks, Lorries and Buses, etc., Due to this, an uninterrupted power generation by solar at day time and whenever the vehicles crosses the path both at day and night the turbine rotates and energy is generated. This would put down the electricity bill and reduce the pollution rate to a certain limit. Read More...

Review Paper on Effect of Tool Geometry and Machining Parameter on Friction Stir Welded Aluminum AA7075-T6
-Harishkumar Odedara
FSW is a solid state joining technique in which no melting is involved. This technique is very attractive for high strength aluminums alloys. 7xxx series aluminium alloys are difficult to welded by fusion welding process because of hydrogen solubility, formation of aluminium oxides, solidification shrinkage etc. which can alternate by friction stir welding process. FSW is widely used for application where the original metal characteristics must remain unchange as far as possible. Mechanical characterization, similar and dissimilar combinations, micro structural characteristics and influence of tool pin profiles for FSW is some of the important parameter. It is important to understand the tensile and microstructure characteristics of friction stir welds due to potentially wide range of engineering applications like automobile, aerospace, shipbuilding, railway industries etc. of friction stir welding. The aim of present work is to investigate combine effect of tool geometry and machining parameter on microstructure and tensile properties of friction stir welded aluminium AA7075-T6. Read More...

-Chaudhari Tejal Krishna ; Deokate Rutuja Vitthal; Karke Shubhada Nivrutti; More Pradnya Dnyandeo
Fingerprint is one of the most important thing while finding the identity of a person. The minutiae points in a fingerprint are used for matching the fingerprints. Now it has cleared that everyone has a different fingerprint, so we can identify two different persons from their fingerprints. Some algorithms are there for fingerprint matching but sometimes we get the fingerprints which are partial or not full at that time it is difficult to identify a person, for that purpose we need to implement this paper. In this we first reconstruct the fingerprint and then after reconstructing we go for matching so that we can identify the person. For matching we need database [flicker (SVM dB)]. For storing classes of fingerprint like whorl, left loop, right loop, tented arch and arch etc. We use some algorithms for reconstructing the fingerprint like Gaussian filtering, otsu binarization, Zang-suen algorithm etc. We also use some dictionaries while reconstructing such as orientation patch dictionary, continuous phase patch dictionary. However using different algorithms and techniques which are mentioned in this paper we can identify the person although his/her fingerprint is partial. Read More...

Energy Saving Curtains
-Raj Kumar Pandey ; Nitish Kumar
As a common sense, for summer with high solar radiant intensity and high ambient air temperature, the demand for air-conditioning and refrigeration is in preference to heating and hot water, this phenomenon is obvious especially in the area with higher solar radiant intensity. As has been shown from mass media, the prevalence of air-conditioners has brought great pressure upon energy, electricity and environment. Energy saving curtain is a window product from a combination of textile, with solar-collection materials. During the day, the shade can be drawn to the extent that people choose to reflect sunlight. It can significantly reduce cooling loads, improve thermal comfort and reduce potential glare problems. In this example, people make tangible choices over how much energy to save and use, their choices are experienced as an aesthetic presence in their home that reflects the natural cycle of daily light. The Energy saving curtain is an example of how power becomes integral to the function and the aesthetic expression of the artifact - thus energy is in focus as a design material. Designing for visualization and choice over energy use led to an interaction model, where natural rhythms and human decisions together build the expression of the object. The user is presented with a direct and tangible choice over enjoying the sunlight or saving the energy from curtain system. Read More...

Review on Resolution of Voltage Swell or Sag by using Advanced Detection Technique of Dynamic Voltage Restorer
-Kalpesh Sukalal Chaudhari ; Prabodh Khampariya
Dynamic voltage restorers (DVRs) are utilized to shield delicate burdens from the outcomes of voltage hangs on the conveyance feeder. This paper displays and confirms a propelled voltage list recognition procedure to be utilized as a part of conjunction with the principle arrangement of a DVR. Everything considered cases it's essential for the DVR framework to not exclusively identify the start and end of a voltage droop and also conjointly to decide the hang profundity and any related part move. The DVR, which is put in arrangement with a delicate load, ought to have the capacity to react rapidly to a voltage list if end clients of touchy hardware are to mastery no voltage hangs. an issue emerges when quick assessment of the list profundity and stage move is required, as this information is regularly installed inside the center of a fundamental DVR control conspire and isn't promptly open to either clients perception the condition of the framework or parallel controllers. Past investigation gave an additional controller that required part and list profundity information to control the infusion voltage vector returned by the principle controller in order to stop the DVR infusion transformers from immersing. Common standard information following or location techniques like the Fourier change or stage bolted circle (PLL) are too moderate in restoring this information, once either connected to the infusion voltage vector, or to the supply voltages straightforwardly. As a consequences of this the voltage list identification strategy amid this paper proposes a substitution framework procedure, which is prepared to figure the stage move and voltage diminishment of the arrangement voltage substantially quicker than the Fourier change or a PLL. The paper furthermore delineates that the network strategy returns comes about which will be straightforwardly taken, while diverse procedures like the wavelet change come comes about which will be difficult to translate. Experimental Investigation of Partially Replacement of Cement by using Marble Powder
-Naveena R ; Athira Ramachandran; A Senthilkumar
Concrete is the most widely used construction material in civil engineering industry because of its high structural strength and stability. Leaving the waste materials to the environment directly can cause environmental problem. Hence the reuse of waste material has been emphasized. Waste can be used to produce new products or can be used as admixtures so that natural resources are used more efficiently and the environment is protected from waste deposits. Marble stone industry generates both solid waste and stone slurry. Whereas solid waste results from the rejects at the mine sites or at the processing units, stone slurry is a semi liquid substance consisting of particles originating from the sawing and the polishing processes and water used to cool and lubricate the sawing and polishing machines. Stone slurry generated during processing corresponds to around 40% of the final product from stone industry. This is relevant because the stone industry presents an annual output of 68 million tonnes of processed products. Therefore, the scientific and industrial community must commit towards more sustainable practices. There are several reuse and recycling solutions for this industrial by-product, both at an experimental phase and in practical applications. These industrial wastes are dumped in the nearby land and the natural fertility of the soil is spoiled. The physical, chemical and mechanical properties of the waste are analyzed. Read More...

Fertilizer Spreader
-Saurabh Ramesh Mahajan ; Digambar Sahebrao Gawande; Aditya Anil Patle
India is an agricultural base country in which, 58 % of people depend on the outcome of the farming. Basically many farmers in India used bullock, horses, and he-buffalo for farming operation. This will not satisfy need of energy requirement of the farming as compared other countries in the world. Economically, farmers are very poor due to which they are unable to purchase tractor and other costly equipment hence they are using traditional method of farming. To overcome this difficulty solution is mechanization which will be suitable for small, scale farmer from economical and effort point of view. In the older days the farmers were doing very hard work for the fertilizing in their farms. They were using digging equipment’s like tile, spade, garden goes, shovel, digging bar etc. They were very heavy bulky, so the farmers were taking so many efforts. So for reducing farmer's efforts, we are designing a machine / mechanism which will reduce farmer’s effort and it will be very useful for them. It consists of rotary mechanism, bevel gear for which power transmission is possible converting into 90 0, two no. of bearings for reducing the friction between them, also used angles for supporting the bevel gear shaft, flange, 11no.1 inch bolts, M.S. Sheets etc. Due to this, human efforts are reduced and fertilization become fast and easy. This project has solved the problem of traditional way to fertilization. Read More...

They help in easier integration of renewable energy and its storage systems. But the main challenge faced by such dc distribution systems is the use of power electronic converters for integrating renewable sources into the dc bus. So a high-voltage-gain DC-AC converter is introduced in this paper. The converter consists of a two-phase interleaved boost converter on its input side and a Dickson charge pump based voltage multiplier on its output side so that it provides an output voltage of 400 V for an input voltage as low as 20V.The voltage multiplier circuit associated with the converter offers low voltage across the capacitors which potentially leads to reduction in size. The converter simulation results are obtained using MATLAB/ Simulink. Read More...

Leaf Spring Testing Machine: A Review
-Satish Chandbodhale ; Prof. C. C Handa
Spring is basically an elastic body whose purpose is to distort under loading conditions and consequently store energy and releases it slowly or rapidly depending on the particular application. The spring needs to be tested before its final assembly. For automotive springs, the most relevant performance characteristic is stiffness under load.. Stiffness of the spring means load required for unit deflection, it is also known as spring index and is main parameter for specification of springs. Springs like Compression helical spring, Tension helical spring, Leaf spring of various sizes and shapes are designed and manufactured. But to check their stiffness is very difficult unless we have such machine. Leaf spring Stiffness checking machine is useful for spring manufacturer as well as spring purchasers for checking the stiffness. It involves the designing and analyzing of leaf spring testing machine. The suspension mechanism in a automobile significantly affects the behavior of vehicle. Leaf springs are subjected to millions of varying stress cycles loading to fatigue failure. So, it becomes mandatory to check for the spring stiffness and its strength before it is installed to perform for any applications. Read More...

At the point when client look for wherever then different areas based specialist organizations discover the outcomes. The regularly utilized area based specialist organizations are Google, Bing, Yahoo and so on .we considers a novel distributed framework for cooperative area based data age and sharing which turn out to be progressively mainstream because of the touchy development of Internet-fit and area mindful cell phones. The outcomes that are given by area based specialist organizations not completely handled. The framework comprises of a data contributor, data collector, Location based service providers (LBSPs), and users. The information gatherer accumulates audits about purposes of-intrigue (POIs) from information donors, while LBSPs buy POI informational collections from the information authority and enable clients to perform spatial best k questions which request the POIs in a specific locale and with the most astounding k appraisals for an intrigued POI quality. The client can gives remark and audits to the item or the place. It's a bit much the LBSP gives appropriate data. In practically, LBSPs are untrusted and may return counterfeit question comes about for different awful thought processes, e.g., for POIs willing to pay. In our approach when the information supporter scans for any inquiry, it will process by the LBSP. Be that as it may, before result appearing to the client, it will process by the information gatherer. This paper presents three novel plans for clients to recognize counterfeit spatial depiction and moving best k question comes about as a push to cultivate the pragmatic arrangement and utilization of the proposed framework. Effective Utilization of Solar Energy to Overcome Power Crisis
-Bhagyashri Mukund Chavan ; Amruta Suresh Chougule; Rutuja Balkrishna Shendage; Mr. D. O. Shirsath
India is a country with abundant natural resources, and solar power is not left behind. In a recent document published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), it has been established that India today receives more than 5,000 trillion kWh/year of solar radiation, which is far more than its total annual energy requirement. India has huge untapped renewable energy resource whose deployment must be accelerated. The aim of this project is to simulate and develop a controlling system which provides solar inverters AC power to the load connected to the grid, when the photovoltaic power is greater than the grid power, the load will work on the solar power. And when solar power is not sufficient it will work on grid power. If the load is off and photovoltaic power is available, the excess power is fed to the grid or we can sell this to other customer. With this approach we can reduce the use of power from the grid and even sell back the excess power to grid. This system can be guaranteed to access power at home or industry, even if the solar energy fails or is insufficient and reduce the Energy Consumption and give a reliable support to the Grid. Automatic Railway Gate Controller using Bollard with Track Security and Anti-Collision System
-Pradyot Patel ; Shreya Sinha; Nirupam Kapoor; Vipin Kumar Yadav
Railway gates are generally opened or closed manually by a gate keeper. But some railway crossings are totally unmanned and many railway accidents occur at these level crossings. Through this project we have tried to automate the process of railway gate control with the help of IR sensors, keeping in mind the complete safety of human life. Reflective type IR sensors, where the IR transmitter and receiver are placed side by side, are used. When there is no obstacle in front of the sensor, the IR rays travel undetected. If there is an obstacle, the IR Rays gets reflected from the surface of the obstacle and are incident on the IR Receiver. This setup can be used to detect an object like a train and in turn can be used to control the motor with the help of microcontroller. Some additional features include track security, to detect if there is a crack in the track, bollards at the gate to stop any object from passing after the gate closes, anti-collision to prevent loss of life by getting hit by the train and an LCD display and a buzzer for alerting in the condition of an accident. In automobile field, the security and theft prevention are one of the main areas in current scenario. The security goals are achieved by RFID & GSM technology. But with the increase of number of the vehicles, the safety of vehicles becomes more complex and insecure, so there is more demand of safety and security of the vehicle rather than only monitoring its location. Now the more intelligent systems are deployed with increasing popularity, which will also provide some additional benefits to the vehicle users. If there are availability of many technologies in market then also a vehicles can be theft. To fulfil these requirements, the smart system needs to be developed. In this project, we propose a smart system which will be based on Microcontroller, Bluetooth module(HC-05),GSM and passive RFID(EM-18) technology,Buzzer,16*2 LCD Display for the monitoring, controlling and security of the vehicle. The place of the vehicle is identified using RFID Reader, address of the Bluetooth module and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM). These systems constantly captures the movement of Vehicle and report the status on demand after the detection of vehicle with Data base. When the theft is identified, the GSM can send the message to respected person and also inform the nearer police station. Then control room can send a message to nearer station to detect the vehicle. A vehicle unique ID is programmed with information of owner, vehicle number, chasing number and develop software to store these ID. Read More...

The quick response (QR) code was designed for storage information and high-speed reading applications. In projected QR code authentication a pair of level storage is used, that facilitate to verify original content in QR code. Our projected work uses public and private storage level of document storage. Inside the general public level, same commonplace QR code storage level is explored; which can be legible to any QR code legible device. The private level is created by replacement the black modules by specific rough patches kind cowl image. It consists of knowledge encoded victimization q-r code with misreckoning correction capability. Q-R code will increase the storage capability of the QR code, but in addition to verify the initial document from a reproduction. This authentication is as results of the sensitivity of the used patches to the print-and-scan technique. Steganalytic formula is not ostensibly to defeat our steganographic approach. Third, the reversible capability heritable from our theme provides utility that allows recovery of the availability texture. We have a tendency to tend to weave texture synthesis technique into steganography for concealing secret in image. Read More...

Air pollution is a significant risk factor for a number of pollution related disease and health conditions. Self-cleaning concrete having a technique to reduce the air contaminants such as NOX, SO2, CO2 and VOC’S from vehicular traffic on streets, any industrial activity and the urban environment. Photocatalytic materials are used in conventional concrete for urban buildings and road pavements to reduce air pollution. The primary photocatalytic material is Titanium dioxide (TiO2), a white coloured powder. TiO2 is activated by the energy from the sun light or UV lamps and it decompose the external pollutants on the surface of the concrete, which is removed by wind and rain action. The presence or removals of pollutants are monitored by the laboratory tests. The workability, compressive strength and durability of the self-cleaning concrete is also tested. As a result it reduces the air pollution (also smog) and causes to self-cleaning activity. Read More...

Weather Forecasting using R
-Sachin Kumar Srivastava ; Robin Singh; Rishabh Kumar
Forecasting[1] is about predicting or finding the future values as accurately as possible, when all the required values are available, including past years data and understanding the events that might affect the forecasts. Weather forecasting is a process of recording of weather like temperature, rainfall, humidity, wind speed etc. By R packages ,models build on the parameters of the weather by which we predict the values of the future weather, considering that the one parameter is dependent on other parameters, by which it changes when the value of other parameter changes. In this paper, different models which were used in the past for weather forecasting are discussed. This paper is divided in three parts , first part is about discussing the related work of the same domain, second part is about operation is done in process of weather forecasting and the third part is about the techniques we used which is regression.
