Cubify can be customized and designed according to the convince of the user since it would be used in different places there would be no restriction over, the design of cubify is fully flexible. The innovation of this remote controller is related with the innovation of Arduino[1] UNO Wemos D1R1 board. It uses WIFI to control lights, temperature and your tv and you can also synchronize it with your smartphone. But the major innovation is the way you interact with CUBIFY with your gesture using the Infrared Sensors. The cube has 6 faces and each one control a particular function. The function you want to use is detected by the Infrared sensors when we move the hand over the face. For example you can open the lights of the room in which you are just by moving the hand over the face of the cube where the picture of light is shown. If you want to switch off the light you just need to move the hand again over the face. This device need a receiver that interpret the data and manage the functions of your smart home. The main output of the cube is an Infrared sensors and Wifi that could be used in many ways: for example you can connect the cube with a smartphone app (or make your own), or we can build a station with another Arduino[1] that collect the WIFI data and directly controls the appliances of your home. -Aishwarya A. Vazhappalli ; Hetika H. Shah; Hiren V. Patel; Ravi M. Patel; Anil R. Parmar
There are numerous categories of joining processes and welding is one such method used by a majority of fabricators in the manufacturing sector. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), popularly known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding, is one of the most traditional arc welding methods that make use of a non-consumable electrode to produce the weld. The most effective feature of this technique is the intense heat source. TIG welding offers the operator greater control over the weld than other processes such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Gas Metal Arc Welding, thus, allowing for stronger and higher quality welds. With this experiment, we will be differentiating between the varying effects of controlling parameters over the heat affected zone (HAZ) due to GTAW for a low carbon steel specimen. Properties such as hardness, brittleness and tensile strength in the HAZ of IS-2062 and its relation with the microstructural changes caused due to heat input have been a focus of this work. Reverse Osmosis (RO) process is a water purification technology which purifies drinking water, desalinate the seawater and treatment of effluents from various domestic and industries to yield potable water in the form of permeate and waste in the form of RO reject or Retentate or Concentrate. The main objective of the present research work is the optimization of RO rejects process management efficiency and issues related to the conventional ZLD approach. In order to minimize the large land requirement, while we using conventional type method such as evaporation pond, which are expensive and needs maintenance because of the materials of construction and their complexity, with particularly high operating costs primarily due to energy consumption and for the management of reject water ZLD technologies intends to develop an alternative solution for brine water management by modern method using wind as an energy source for managing the reject water. Wind aided intensified evaporation is a method in which water is pumped on to fabrics to provide additional surface area for evaporation. The brine is slowly distributed across the sheets. Brine flows down the vertical sheets, concentrating as it falls, due to the evaporation of water by the wind passing across the surface of sheets. The concentrated brine is collected at the base of the system and returned to the holding area. In this article the surface of sheets acts as an absorbing medium that simply absorbs the feed solute and suppose to evaporate the solute with the action of wind velocity. The experimentation is done by practising NaCl solution with different range of concentration in the laboratory scale unit which is almost equivalent to brine concentrations. Read More...

Solar System Design, Operation and Installation
-Ashutosh Anil Saindane ; Mandar Pandit Sahane; Siddhesh Milind Somvanshi; Kirti Kulkarni
The demand for energy is growing day by day in the whole world. The Conventional energy sources like coal and petroleum are limited. Renewable energy resources will play an important role in the future. India is situated in sunny belt India is endowed with vast solar energy potential. Government of India had launched Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) in 2009. The target was to start Grid connected Solar Projects of 20 GW by 2022. The electricity requirements of the world including India are increasing at alarming rate and the power demand has been running ahead of supply. It is also now widely recognized that the fossil fuels (i.e., coal, petroleum and natural gas) and other conventional resources, presently being used for generation of electrical energy, may not be either sufficient or suitable to keep pace with ever increasing demand of the electrical energy of the world. Also, generation of electrical power by cold based steam power plant or nuclear power plants causes pollution, which is likely to be more acute in future due to large generating capacity on one side and greater awareness of the people in this respect. Solar Energy refers to as the energy from the sun; the conversion of the sunlight into electricity gives you solar power. It allows any user with necessary receiving components to receive the sun for its utilization by using photovoltaic (PV). Photovoltaic convert light into an electric current and this current can be converted into alternating current (AC) using an inverter and also stored using a well-arranged battery for use in homes for illumination and for appliances at home. This technical document will discuss in details the necessary steps to be taken for proper installation and maintenance of solar energy. Read More...

-D. Ravi Kumar ; N. Madhivanan; Dr. M. Velan; Dr. R. Saravanane
India has 3rd place to produce CO2 in all over the world. In order to mitigate the effect of global climate scenario due to increasing flue gas concentration, we have been doing a lot of experimental research work obtaining various byproducts &benefits. Therefore, microalgae can provide an alternative biofuel feedstock, greenhouse gas fixation ability (net zero emission balance) Biological sequestration methods coupled with applications for CO2 reuse is a way to mitigate CO2 emissions, perhaps serving to reduce the effects of climate change for future generations. The average atmospheric CO2 reached 400ppm. The climates change due to CO2 level should not be allowed to get much higher than 550 ppm. Because, it causes acid rain, eutrophication, haze, biomagnifications and global climate change etc. On the other hand, the developing countries are the most vulnerable to climate change impacts because they have fewer resources to adapt socially, technologically and financially.so that, I have adopted a pond method in which condition is suitable for growing algae. We have taken experimental research work by comparing atmospheric condition CO2 VS flue gas CO2. Read More...

In grid connected mode the Micro grid will work in power control mode whereas during islanding mode the microgrid will work in droop control mode. The behavior of micro grid is analyzed under different loading conditions like with equal loading and the unequal loading. In this paper the micro grid will work in synchronism with the utility grid. The power supplied to the loads is via main utility grid as well as by microgrid as per the demand of the loads. If the load increases than the extra power is supplied by the main grid. When the intentional islanding takes place or due to any other power quality issues than the micro sources have to generate extra power to fulfil the demand of the local loads all these conditions are analyzed and shown with the help of MATLAB on simulink. Database Cache Management System
-Heena V. Chainani ; Samruddhi S. Kale; Renuka R. Sarad; Roshan R. Karwa
The users of web applications are increasing day by day. As the request increases the database trips also increases. As a result, the time required to fetch data from database increases, which in turn reduces the performance of web application. Under commercial available operating systems data can only be manipulated in the main memory storage. Therefore part of the database has to be loaded into a main storage area before modification and has to be written back to the disk after modification. This main memory storage technically referred as cache memory is used to store frequently asked data for faster retrieval by minimizing the time for retrieval queries. We have to apply various mechanisms policies so the user will get maximum cache hit. Our system in collaboration with airlines reservation application makes use of SQL Cache Dependency and Page Output Cache to deliver optimal and faster results. Read More...

Wireless Power Transmission using Embedded System
-Kunwar Rajesh ; Ranjan Kumar Singh
As we already know that we are living in wireless world. Now a days in our everyday life we are using embedded systems. To work with the embedded systems we have to provide power supply to work & that power is provided with the help of wires but this is very complex, bulky & of-course costly too. In order to reducing this we are going with wireless power transmission over wired power of transmission. This paper mainly focused on: 1) Tesla theory (Most Popular Concept) 2) Electromagnetic Induction. 3) Resonant charging of electrical & electronics Devices. Although many research papers, patents are available on wireless transmission of electricity but the commercial technologies are yet to be implemented. Wireless transmission can give an efficiency of about 95% whereas 26% to 30% power loss in wired transmission of power. One more thing wireless power transmission is non radiative energy so this eco-friendly (i.e does not affect the environment). This technique includes resoanating inductive coupling, mutual induction, electromagnetic induction/radiation, microwave transmission, laser transmission. By this technology we can avoid the short circuit, danger of having long & tangled wiring. Read More...

Safeguarding the Lives of Riders from Crashes using Embedded and Image Processing
-A. Rohini ; S. Suchee Devi; A. Titus; S. Uma Maheswari; J. Thilagavathy
In our project we detect the persons who are not wearing helmets, then tracking their number plate and sending warning message to their mobile phones and also to the nearby police station using GSM. New techniques are introduced to detect the objects. The technique combines two methods for helmet detection to achieve better detection rates. The First method is to detect faces using Haar-like features and Background subtraction. Purpose of Haar like features is to meet the real time requirements. The key advantage over most other features is its calculation speed and accuracy. The second method is Circle Hough Transform. The circle Hough Transform (CHT) is a feature extraction technique for detecting circles. It is a specialization of Hough Transform. The purpose of the technique is to find circles in imperfect image inputs. Then the number plate of the rider is notified by the Number Plate Recognition. Number plate recognition (NPR) sensors are embedded camera systems that monitor road traffic. When a vehicle passes by a sensor, the vehicle's number plate, the location, and the time of observation are recorded. Read More...

Real-Time Object Detection and Identification
-Moulick Aggarwal ; Hitesh Kumar; Nitesh Kumar
Machine learning is a field of computer science that gives computer systems the ability to "learn" (i.e., progressively improve performance on a specific task) with data, without being explicitly programmed [1] . In the past decade, machine learning has given us self-driving cars, practical speech recognition, effective web search, and a vastly improved understanding of the human genome. Machine learning is so pervasive today that you probably use it dozens of times a day without knowing it. Object detection and identification is one of the classic but extremely important problems in computer vision. Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) is one of the most powerful tools for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning problem. Object recognition is concerned with determining the identity of an object being observed in the image from a set of known labels. Oftentimes, it is assumed that the object being observed has been detected or there is a single object in the image. This project aims to develop vision systems that match the cognitive capabilities of human beings, systems that can tell the specific identity of an object being observed. Read More...

GA Based Soft Computing Approach for Open-Field Detail Layout Design
-Dr. Jerin Leno ; Dr. V. Janakiraman; S. Sheik Sulaiman
Any organization, whether it may be a manufacturing, chemical, process, construction site or an office needs to organize their physical goods within their available space to achieve certain objectives. In manufacturing perspective each facility (department, cell or machine) that needs to be placed in two dimensional shop floor region to achieve the distance based cost objective that is called facility layout problem (FLP). Minimizing the material handling cost is the most considered objective, but qualitative as well as quantitative objectives are also considered together to solve FLP. In this work the detail layout design of FLP that comprises layout design of departments within the shop floor, locations of input and output (I/O) stations and the material transport path that connects the I/O stations of departments along the department perimeter. Solving these issues simultaneously in an integrated manner will yield a near optimal solution for FLP. Due to NP-hard nature of the integrated FLP traditional approaches becomes much less useful and therefore an Elitist Strategy Genetic Algorithm (ESGA) is developed and tested with the test problem instances available in the literature. Crowdsourcing
-Vishal ; Nitin Mohan; Vipin
The aim of this project is to analyze the crowd’s opinions on Telecom Operators and the services they provide. We have used twitter to gather opinions, although some other platform or site could be used. Sentiment analysis and data mining techniques are applied to find out sentiments of people of India on different Telecom companies. In this project, we are tackling the problem of evaluation of data submitted by crowd. Sentiment analysis, a well-known task in Text analysis has been done on Tweets to evaluate and understand people's opinion. The evaluated result has been displayed on the webpage. This webpage has been made using HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) and PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor). The main goal of such a sentiment analysis is to discover how the customers feel about various companies since the launch of Reliance Jio free data and voice services. Our focus is mainly on the tweets around 31st March, 2017. Millions of Indians became used to free Jio, its free calling and data. From 1st April, 2017, Jio stopped its free 4G data offer and started charging customers depending on Jio plan (with Prime or without). Due to Jio's offer, other telecom companies have also changed their data plans in order to protect their existing customers and revenue per user. The Twitter data that is collected will be classified into three categories: positive, negative or neutral. An analysis will then be performed on the classified data to investigate the count of the audience sample falls into each category. Read More...

Review on Medicare-Diagnosis and Medication
-Prof. Pranita P. Deshmukh ; Ms. Manisha Watkar; Ms. Vaishnavi P. Ingole; Ms. Nileshwari Thakare; Ms. Gunjan Kale
Medical histories include a variety of documentation of patient's past, clinical discoveries, diagnostic check results, preoperative care, operation notes, post-operative care, and daily notes of a patient's progress and medications. It is very important for the treating doctor to properly document the management of a patient under his care. Medical record keeping has evolved into a science of itself. This will be the only way for the doctor to prove that the conduct was carried out properly. It is important for the doctors and medical establishments to properly maintain the records of patients for two important reasons: the first one is that it will help them in the systematic evaluation of their patient profile, helping in analysing the treatment results, and to plan treatment protocols. It also helps in planning governmental strategies for future medical care. The legal system relies mainly on documentary evidence in a situation where medical negligence is alleged by the patient or the relatives. With the increasing use of medical cover for treatment, the insurance companies also require proper record for keeping proof of the patient's demand for medical expenses. Improper record keeping can result in declining medical claims. It is overwhelming to note that in spite of knowing the importance of appropriate record keeping it is still in an emerging stage in India. The traditional method of keeping records that is followed in most of the hospitals across India is the manual method involving papers and books. There are serious boundaries of physical record keeping including the need for large storage areas and difficulties in the recovery of records. Our aim is to create an online space for doctors as well as patients to maintain the medical records and to ensure a transparent and reliable medical treatment system. Read More...

Implementation and Analysis of Cognitive Radio System using MATLAB
-Piyush Aughad ; Jay Joshi; Aishwarya Deshmukh; Tejasvi Chaher; Ashvini Shete
The increasing demand of wireless applications has put a lot of limitations on the use of available radio spectrum is limited and precious resource. Many survey of spectrum utilization show that entire spectrum is not used at all the times, so many of the radio spectrum is underutilized. Some of the frequency bands in the spectrum are unoccupied, some of the frequency bands less occupied and few bands are over utilized. Cognitive radio system is a technique which overcomes that spectrum underutilization. Cognitive radio is a technique where secondary user looks for a free band to use when primary user is not in use of its licensed band. A function of cognitive radio is called Spectrum sensing which enables to search for the free bands and it helps to detect the spectrum hole (frequency band which is free enough to be used) which can be utilized by secondary user with high spectral resolution capability. The idea of simulation and analysis of Cognitive Radio System tore use unused spectrum to increase the total system capacity was brought in this paper and this work digs into the practical implementation of a Cognitive radio system. MATLAB R2007b (version7.5) has been used to test the performance of Cognitive radio dynamically. Read More...
