Dyeing of Wool with Eco Friendly Dye Obtained From Turmeric Rhizomes
-Mamta Vashishtha
Eco friendly technology is the key to development. The study was aimed at developing 100% natural yellow colour for dyeing of wool without the use of any synthetic matter as mordant. Generally natural dyes require a mordant for improvement in properties of dyes. Through this study an effort has been made to develop an optimized procedure for dyeing of wool with pure natural turmeric dye with all required good properties. The conventional method of dyeing involves extraction of dye in aqueous solution by boiling for a considerable amount of time. This dyeing method makes the dye dull and unappealing. To overcome this problem a different method of dying was tried and tested. Experiments were conducted to achieve the optimized procedure for dyeing of wool with turmeric. Standard procedures were developed to for dyeing of wool with different dyeing methods. No synthetic material was used at any stage throughout the process. The final samples were tested for light and washing as per standards laid by BIS. Read More...

-Salman Saify ; Shivam Singh Patel
Eco friendly construction techniques are gaining immense importance nowadays. Many innovations have come in pavement construction and design. The use of reclaimed aggregates in constructing pavements is one among them. Reclaimed aggregates come mainly from two sources - construction & demolition waste and asphalt pavements. The optimized use of reclaimed aggregates along with fresh aggregates helps decrease construction cost without compromising strength and durability. It also minimizes the use of virgin aggregate and helps decrease crude oil import for producing paving bitumen. Reclaimed material is first crushed and screened before using. Tests are then conducted to analyse its properties. Only those batches which satisfy standard conditions are used. Reclaimed aggregate pavements hence help pavement rehabilitation with minimum energy expenditure. This paper deals with the tests on reclaimed aggregate and their property study. The various sources and means of retrieving aggregate from reclaimed material are also dealt with. Read More...

Design of Four Quadrant Current Mode Analog Multiplier at 0.25 um CMOS Technology
-Raksha Choudhary ; Vijay Sharma
For analog signal processing non-linear operation on signal is required there are several applications where analog signals need to be multiply/ divide and squaring is required such as modulation, AGC etc. The non-linearity of conventional bipolar transistor can be used for multiplication by using trans-linear operation but the large size and power consumption limits the use of BJT. Extension of trans-linear operation to MOS transistors solves the issue of size and power consumption but the scaling of MOS transistor produces several errors. Such error can be resolved by using two transistor and a resistor in trans-linear loop. In this paper a current mode four quadrant current multiplier was designed that uses current squaring and subtract identity to achieve multiplication. The circuit is designed at 0.25 µm CMOS technology at 1.8 V dual power supply. Read More...

A Survey on Fast Super Resoluted Image using Convolution Network
-Chauhan Divya G ; Ms. Christian Smital
Aim of Super resolution is to generate high-resolution image from single or multiple low resolution of the same picture or image. With one single low resolution image it's very challenging to produce high-resolution image because a single low-resolution image contain the less information. Due to the ability of preserving edges, kind of method called Total variation based method was proposed as regularization function for some inverse problems. Novel super resolution method proposed which based on Total Variation regularization and total variation up sampling with Gaussian noise which provide better resolution image with preserving only texture components. But still it takes the more processing time due to the calculation of total variation in the input Image. To overcome problem of existing work, Novel approach of neural network which is consists of three layers namely convolution layer, max-pooling layer and reconstruction layer. This approach will try to reduce the processing time as well as increasing the PSNR ratio. Read More...

-Rawanang S. Rutuja ; Vrushabh V. Rawool; Sakharkar R. Pallavi
Diesel engine is a very important prime mover and to run diesel engine fuels are required. Due to the shortage of conventional fossil fuels there is need to use alternative fuels extracted from waste like fish oil which contains discarded body parts of fish. To check the performance of internal combustion engine vibration analysis plays an important role. In this paper using lab view setup vibration signals are collected through data acquisition system by attaching accelerometer on cylinder head of internal combustion engine by considering statistical factors like kurtosis, crest factor, RMS, skewness and FFT. By considering these factors we compare vibrating signals for diesel-fish oil blends viz, B1 (15% fish oil + 85% diesel), B2(30% fish oil + 70% diesel) and B3(45% fish oil + 55% diesel). The experimentation was carries out at different loading condition, load 0kg to 12kg in step of 3 in three different directions for cylinder head. After experimentation it is concluded that use of diesel-fish oil blends in internal combustion engine will reduce the vibration as compare to no blend condition, where kurtosis isa better criterion for vibration analysis. Development of Construction Quality Assessment Model for RCC Footing
-Kushal Rajendra Dhadiwal ; R. V. Devalkar
Any constructed facility should conform to predetermined quality standards and specifications in order to serve the purpose of a facility. It should satisfy the owner's quality needs, expectations and aspirations about the constructed facility which are the key objectives of a contractor. But unfortunately, most of the times it is a common issue that constructed facilities fail in satisfying the predetermined quality standards, specifications and owner's expected level of quality. This is mainly because of ignorance and misconception on the part of owner's representative who accepts sub-standard. Most of the present methods of quality audit being subjective in nature, there is an emergent need to develop a comprehensive, rational, sensible and objective post occupancy quality measurement model for a constructed facility which would give a clear idea about how contractors are using resources and attaining desired workmanship. The present study was undertaken to develop construction quality index model for a RCC footing of Nashik region in India. The developed model would be helpful in examining the quality level achieved by a RCC footing and to compare the RCC footing as well as contractors. This model would remain as prime basis for rating the quality of RCC footing and contractor’s ability in providing quality facilities. Read More...

Study the Effect of Cryogenic Treatment in Electro-Discharge Machining on Material Removal Rate for Copper and Chromium Copper Electrode
-Samarth Bhaduwala ; Neel Prajapati; Nikhil Vyas; Keyur Shah; Kirtan Sukhadia
EDM is an unconventional electro thermal machining process used for manufacturing geometrically complex or hard material parts that are extremely difficult-to-machine by conventional machining process. The process involves a controlled erosion of electrically conductive materials by the initiation of rapid and repetitive spark discharges between the tool and work piece separated by a small gap of about 0.01mm to 0.50mm. This gap is either flooded or immersed in a dielectric fluid. The controlled pulsing of direct current between the tool and the work piece produces the spark discharge. EDM researchers have explored a number of ways to improve the material removal rate with various experimental concepts. Despite a range of different approaches, every new research shares the same objectives of achieving high material removal rate with reduction in tool wear and improved surface quality. This paper presents the different tool condition with the same workpiece material vast array of research work carried out within past decades for the development of EDM. This study is mainly focused on aspects related to material removal rate which are the most important parameters from the point of view of selecting the relevant process parameters as well as different Tool material. Identification of Mud Affected Area by using K-Means Clustering Approach in Nagapattinum-Vedaranniyam Area
-C. T. Anuradha
Segmentation is one of the most critical means of image processing and data analysis approach. The aim of segmentation is to classify an image into parts that have a strong correlation with objects in order to reflect the actual information collected from the real world. Clustering is a major global approach for segmentation and it relies on partition of images into a set of layers or regions for further analysis. The image segmentation by clustering basically refers to grouping similar data points into different clusters. In this article, an unsupervised clustering technology is proposed for processing large scale satellite images taken from remote celestial sites. As an effective approach, K-means clustering method requires that certain number of clusters for partitioning be specified and its distance metric be defined to quantify relative orientation of objects. Then image processing system forms clusters from input patterns. Diversified large scale image features are investigated using unsupervised methods. In the meanwhile, to limit computational complexity for the consideration of real time processing, a simple study is conducted in the satellite image of Nagapattinam-Vedaranniyam area, first classify the features in the image with the help of unsupervised classification then we apply the segmentation approach in the unsupervised classified image and find out the Mud affected area in these part using this approach. The disc brake is a device for decelerating or stopping the rotation of a wheel. A brake disc (or rotor) usually made of cast iron or ceramic composites, is connected to the wheel and/or the axle. Friction material in the form of brake pads (mounted on a device called a brake caliper) is forced mechanically, hydraulically, pneumatically or electromagnetically against both sides of the disc to stop the wheel. The present research is basically deals with the modeling and analysis of solid disc brake using Pro-E and Ansys. Finite element (FE) models of the brake-disc are created using Pro-E and simulated using ANSYS which is based on the finite element method (FEM). In this research Coupled Analysis (Structural & Thermal analysis) is performed in order to find the strength of the disc brake. In structural analysis displacement, ultimate stress limit for the design is found and in thermal analysis heat flow rates, and heat fluxes to be calculated by varying the two different materials of the disc. Comparison can be done for displacement, stresses and nodal temperatures. Results will be compared for the two different material of the disc. Read More...

-N. Sai Sandhya ; K. Mehaboob Subhani
Virtual machine allocation in cloud data center is gaining significance due to the best of service (QoS) necessities in software program defined networking. Within the proposed work four critical parameters are considered namely CPU, RAM, disk area and to be had bandwidth. Digital machine allocation is carried out in any such manner that it is able to allocate all incoming VM requests. There are 3 special allocation strategies finished are Analytic IT useful resource Allocation, Fuzzy-IT useful resource Allocation and Multi goal Dynamic allocation. Then the work are compared to discover the fine allocation techniques. The main goal of the IT aid Allocators (ITRA) is to accept as many VM requests as possible, reducing on the equal time the network electricity intake. Each VM request is characterized via four parameters representing the height usage of CPU, RAM, disk and bandwidth. The server selection includes the following steps: Compute the candidate server list, if., the set of servers with sufficient IT assets to meet the request: a) if the list is empty, the request is rejected; b) otherwise, visit subsequent step. Multi useful resource great fit (BF) that strongly consolidates the device resource usage deciding on the server that has the least sources availability; b) Multi aid Worst healthy (WF): that selects the server having the highest assets availability, for you to stability the weight amongst all of the available servers. Three) select the quality server in step with one of the possible strategies disjoint or joint Analytic ITRA disjoint or joint Fuzzy ITRA disjoint or joint Multi-goal Dynamic Allocator (MODA). -Sourav Mehra ; Nancy Aggarwal
In-painting is a type of art that rebuilt the missing data in an image. There are several proposed algorithms for this purpose in which exemplar based approach is the most broadly used. The objective of in-painting is to synthesize the missing part of an image in such a way that it looks suitable to the eye of viewer who is known to the original. Image inpainting is widely used to restore a damaged paintings and photographs or remove unwanted objects. Criminisi's exemplar-based inpainting combined "texture synthesis" and PDE-based inpainting that showed great efficiency on removal of large objects. However, this approach has certain weakness such as high time cost, visual inconsistency in some cases. In this paper, we improve the Criminsi's exemplar-based inpainting based on search strategy and color transfer. This new method is also suitable to all exemplar-based methods and the results show its effectiveness. Read More...

To symbolize macular Ganglion Cell Layer (GCL) changes with age and grant a framework to examine adjustments in ocular disease. This learn about used facts clustering to analyze macular GCL patterns from Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in a giant cohort of topics without ocular disease. Pattern focus clustered GCL thickness throughout the macula into five to eight spatially concentric classes. F-test verified segmented linear regression to be the most suitable mannequin for macular GCL change. The pattern recognition–derived and normalized model revealed much less distinction between the envisioned macular GCL thickness and the reference cohort (average 6 SD 0.19 6 0.92 and _0.30 6 0.61 lm) than a grid clever model (average 6 SD 0.62 6 1.43 lm). Pattern focus successfully identified statistically separable macular areas that undergo a segmented linear discount with age. This regression model better predicted macular GCL thickness. The more than a few special spatial patterns revealed by way of pattern cognizance combined with core GCL thickness statistics supply a framework to analyze GCL loss in ocular disease. Read More...

Prevention of pipe walls from scale deposition by using Magnetic Field Treatment
-Himanshu Gaur ; (Prof) Dr.Vivek Srivastava; (Asst Prof) Amrit AnandDosar
A home-made magnetic device was built with permanent magnets for treating scaling waters. Its efficiency was evaluated by measuring the remaining ionic calcium at the output of the device by means of an ion selective electrode. The scaling power of the treated water was estimated through an electrochemical scaling test. Chroamperometric curves and chronoelectrogravimetric curves were plotted to obtain the scaling time and the nucleation time of the scale deposition. The variation of the efficiency of the magnetic treatment was studied when the length of treatment, the flow velocity of the scaling water in the device, the material of the pipe where the scaling water flowed were changed. Magnetic water treatment does not change the chemistry of water but it alters the structure of water. Lorentz force is exerted on water ions the redirection of particles increases the frequency of collision between ions and opposite sides combining to form a mineral precipitate or in soluble compound scale deposits by natural waters often lead to numerous technical and economic problems in industrial plants and domestic equipment by blocking the flow of water in pipes or limiting heat transfer in heat exchange.
