Feasibility of Metalized Polymer Plastic Waste Used as Concrete Ingredient
-Keyur Shah ; Dr. N. K. Arora; G. M. Patel; S. M. Saiyad
Utilizing fibres in concrete was introduced in early 1900s. Since then large variety of fibres are experimented and being practiced effectively around the world. The prime concern was the improvisation of concrete properties. With time, the scenario gets diverted towards utilization of wastes and by products from industry and municipal wastes especially the plastic wastes were in concern. The most stable form of plastic wastes made them non-biodegradable and somewhat difficult to recycle. In last ten years, large range of various wastes are added to concrete as dual solution towards mitigation of waste management problems and reducing natural material use as concrete constituent. This paper presents the experimental investigation of feasibility of polyethylene post-consumer waste used for food packaging along with fly ash as another by product of thermal power stations. The ample numbers of samples were prepared in M10 concrete mix with three different water/ cement ratio. Plastic waste was converted in fibre form and added from 0% to 1.5% of volume along with variation of fly ash from 0% to 30% of volume. And Check the permeability of concrete by using oxygen permeability test and water sorptivity test. Read More...

In this modern world number of users connected to internet are increasing rapidly with respect to number of attacks on those user to steal an information. The user data is compromised by using various hacking method implemented by hacker on system. In this paper, we will study Phishing Detection using Multi-Layer Perceptron and make comparison of accuracy obtained by using various solving and with respect to activation function. In this model, we have built Neural Network with the help of sklearn. The Dataset used to train the Neural Network has been taken from UCI machine Learning Repository for Phishing web set dataset. The Dataset contains both phishing and non-phishing instances. The number of Phishing and Non-phishing are 4898 and 6157 instances. Instead of feature selection we have extracted those feature that are important to decide legitimacy of the website. We also considered the time taken to build the neural model. After classifying the instances into phishing and legitimate, we got high accuracy. Also we have used Sklearn, it has different solving and activation technique that are defined in Multi-Layer Perceptron. We are classifying solving methods based on accuracy. Also, we have used weka tool to check the accuracy of all neural network algorithm defined in it. In this, we have classified new instances into phishing and non-phishing by using multi-layer perceptron then compared its accuracy with the various neural network techniques. Read More...

Use of Bagasse Ash Mixed with Quarry Dust and Building Scrap in Brick Making
-Vaibhav Shrivastava ; Kaushik Majumdar; P K Roy
There is a strong demand in our country for environmentally safe reuse and effective disposal method for sludge due to the increasing amount of sludge generated by the various industries or plant in India. Landfills techniques are commonly used for disposal of sludge in India, rapid urbanization has made it increasingly difficult to use the above techniques. Therefore, incineration process has become one of the few alternatives available for disposal of sludge. The ultimate disposal of incinerated sludge ash can be accomplished by using it as an engineering construction materials. One possible solution for the management of this ash is to re-use it as a building material, namely to incorporate this ash into making of bricks. The fire clay brick is one of the most common and abundant masonry building material. As such, the recycling of waste materials by incorporating them into bricks has been a popular topic of investigation over the last few century, with varying degrees of success across a wide range of waste material. This popularity is likely due to flexibility on the type of wastes which can be mixed into the brick making material, but more importantly, the high temperature involved in firing the bricks allows for the volatilization of dangerous component, as well as the fixation of wastes into the vitreous phase of the brick. The current study investigates the potential for reusing sugarcane industry sludge by using it as a partial replacement material in clay bricks. Read More...

Quasi-Z Source Inverter fed Induction Motor Drive Control Using Fuzzy Logic Controller
-U. Himalini ; P. Vimala
This paper refer to about the control of the induction motor drive with the Quasi-Z Source inverter and the fuzzy logic controller, for the industrial application. The quasi-z source inverter (qzs-I), provides more advantages over the conventional inverter. It provides a balanced dc-link voltage and voltage boost ability, saves one-third modules, etc. However, the Quasi-Z source inverter still cannot overcome the recurrent & stochastic fluctuation. The obtained AC voltage must be pure sinusoidal. But it can’t be obtained due to the presence of increased harmonic content in the existing system. In the proposed module, with the combination of Quasi-Z Source inverter and the Fuzzy Logic controller, controls the speed & torque characteristics through ATMEGA microcontroller 328. The impedance network used here, act as the filter and completely eliminates the harmonic content for the flexible operation of the drive. Read More...

A Survey Paper on Power System Stabilizer to Damped Out the Inter-Area Oscillations
-Ishteyaque Ahmad ; Prabodh Khampariya
Power system oscillation damping remains as one of the major concerns for secure and reliable operation of large power systems, and is of great current interest to both industry and academia. The principal reason for this is that the inception of poorly-damped low-frequency inter-area oscillations (LFIOs) when power systems are operating under stringent conditions may lead to system-wide breakups or considerably reduce the power transfers over critical corridors. With the availability of high-sampling rate phasor measurement units (PMUs), there is an increasing interest for effectively exploiting conventional damping control devices, such as power system stabilizers (PSSs), by using these measurements as control input signals. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive overview of distinct elements (or ‘‘building blocks’’) necessary for wide-area power system damping using synchrophasors and PSSs. These building blocks together shape a tentative methodical framework, and are disposed as follows: (1) fundamental understanding of the main characteristics of inter-area oscillations, (2) wide-area measurement and control systems (WAMS and WACS) and wide-area damping control (WADC), (3) methods for model-based small-signal analysis, (4) control input signals selection, and (5) methods for PSS control design. We also describe the latest developments in the implementation of synchrophasors measurements in WAMS. In this paper research read many papers related to signal selection approach for WADC designed which is based on two different approaches namely: Residue approach and Geometric approach. Read More...

In the recent years, there are many construction projects which are constructed on soft soil. Because of the characteristics of soft soil, the structures which are built on it are subject to differential settlements. Raft foundation is one of the methods for reducing differential settlement. Piles used with a raft foundation is known as a piled raft foundation system. To reduce the settlements to an acceptable amount, the piles are added. The aim of this study is to analyse the settlements of the raft foundation by increasing the number piles, as the pile raft foundation, under the same loading, with or without considering the water table below the top surface. The numerical analysis has been done by finite element method using PLAXIS 2D by considering the various number of piles. As a result, the addition of piles could reduce the settlement. It is necessary to consider the optimum number of piles in piled raft foundation system based on the allowable settlements, for its economical design. This analysis has been undertaken to study the behaviour of piled raft foundation under different number of piles. This analysis has been done using PLAXIS 2D software. Read More...

Remote sensor frameworks (RSNs) can be associated in various application circumstances, e.g., fundamental security, natural framework organization, and urban CO watching. In an ordinary RSN, different self-dealt with sensor centers report the distinguishing data sometimes to a central sink by methods for multi bobremote. Late years have seen a quick advancement of sensor organize scale. Some sensor frameworks fuse hundreds even an enormous number of sensor centers. These frameworks much of the time use dynamic directing traditions to finish brisk acclimation to the dynamic remote channel conditions. The creating framework scale and the dynamic thought ofremote channel impact WSNs to twist up doubtlessly dynamically mind boggling and hard to direct. M Reconstructing the controlling method for each got divide the sink side is an effective way to deal with grasp the framework complex internal practices . With the guiding method for each bundle, various estimation and explanatory systems can coordinate convincing organization and tradition upgrades for passed on WSNs containing a broad number of unattended sensor center points. For example, PAD depends upon the guiding route information to fabricate a Bayesian framework for inciting the fundamental drivers of irregular miracles. Way information is moreover fundamental for a framework boss to effectively manage a sensor mastermind. For example, given the per-package way information, a framework boss can without a lot of an extend find the center points with a huge amount of bundles sent by them, i.e., sort out bounce spots. By then, the boss can carry exercises todeal with that issue, for instance, passing on more center points to that zone and modifying the coordinating layer traditions. In addition, per-distribute information is major to screen the fine-grained per-interface estimations. Read More...

Camcorder Piracy- RFID based Anti-Piracy Screen
-Rohith M N ; Abhishek K A; Chetan G; Deepak M S; Akash M
Film theft has such a profound impact on a wide range of economy that it is a crime in almost all countries. One major source of the movie piracy is camcorder piracy i.e., movies are recorded by portable devices inside theatres or any screening system and then sold on internet and grey markets. Different techniques and strategies are explored to overcome the problem and secure the digital cinema content, some are based on spatiotemporal modulation of light, watermarking techniques, maximizing annoyance and temporal effects. This paper deals with a projection technique to avoid piracy in movie theatres. We aim to defeat camcorder piracy by severely degrading the visual quality of the recorded movie while making the interference signals invisible to the audience. Infrared emitters are installed in movie theatres to interfere with the camcorder and create glares in the recorded frames. And also even if the degraded video is uploaded to the internet for audio purpose the person who recorded the movie can be tracked using a person identification system. Since piracy is against the law this creates an awareness among the once who try to pirate the video. Read More...

Deduplication in Big Data
-Onkar Jadhav ; Seema Kamble; Dipali Devkar; Komal Gadage; Prof. Krushnadeo Belerao
Deduplication has become a widely organize tools in cloud data centers to get better IT resources effectiveness. However, traditional techniques face a great challenge in big data deduplication to strike a rational tradeoff between the variance goals of scalable deduplication throughput and high duplicate subvert ratio. We are suggesting a scalable distributed deduplication framework in cloud environment, to meet this challenge, data similarity and locality to optimize spread deduplication with inter-node two-tiered data routing and intra-node application-aware deduplication. It first dispense data at file level, then assigns related data to the same storage node to maintain high global deduplication efficiency, meanwhile balances the workload across nodes. Our experimental evaluation of data Dedupe against state-of-the-art, driven by real-world datasets, demonstrates that Data Dedupe achieve the highest global deduplication efficiency with a higher global deduplication helpfulness than the high-overhead and badly scalable fixed scheme, but at an overhead only somewhat higher than that of the scalable but low duplicate-elimination-ratio approaches. Design and Development of Robotic Vehicle using Origami Concept
-Mohak Sharma ; Md Saif Ali; Bhushan Patil; Imteyaz Alam; Prof. S. R Burkul
Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. Due to its fascinating properties, several attempts are being actively made to expand applications of origami-inspired designs in engineering. This paper presents the design of a deformable wheel based on an origami structure that was integrated with a small-scale mobile robot. All segments of the structure are connected by links-i.e., folding lines-and this linked structure provides advantages in terms of maintaining geometry and force transmissibility. These two advantages enable control of the shape or size of the wheel by activating a certain portion of the structure. With this property, the wheel diameter of the robot is reduced from 11 cm to 4 cm by four SMA coil spring actuators. Two plate springs are embedded in the wheel to maintain stiffness and allow the wheel to recover from contraction. With the deformable wheel, the robot can pass through a 5 cm gap despite having an 11 cm wheel in its normal state. This deformable wheel concept can be used to build mobile robots that can move quickly with large wheels and move through small gaps when required. Read More...

Skin Cancer Detection by FCM and Classification of Dermoscopy Images using SVM
-R. Deepa ; Dr. S. Santhi
Melanoma, one type of skin cancer is considered the most dangerous form of skin cancer occurred in humans. However it is curable if the person detects early. To minimize the demonstrative error affected by the complexity of visual interpretation and subjectivity, it is necessary to develop a technology for computer aided image analysis. This paper presents a methodological approach for the categorization of brunette skin lesions in dermoscopic images. Firstly, the image of the skin to remove unwanted noise and edges, and then the segmentation process is performed to extract the affected area. For detecting the melanoma skin cancer, the GLCM, Thresholding algorithm that segments the lesion from the entire image is used in this study. Feature extraction is then performed by underlying various dermatology rules. After extracting the features from the lesion, feature selection algorithm has been used to get optimized features in order to feed for categorization stage. Fuzzy C-means (FCM) is a method of clustering which allows one piece of data to belong to two or more clusters. Segmentation is performed by using Fuzzy Clustering Means because it has robust characteristics for uncertainty and can retain much more information than hard segmentation methods. Support vector machine has been used as a classifier to classify melanoma and non-melanoma. Experiments have been tested on well-known dataset dermis that is freely available on the Internet. The proposed method has been compared with state of the art methods and shows better performance in comparison to the existing methods. Read More...

-Akshay Rajendra Bhagat ; Ganesh Babasaheb Bhagat; Vinod Somnath Bhande; Gaurav Suhas Pawar
Boiler is most widely used in industries and power plant for generation of steam. a some portion of world energy consumption is being used in boiler. A small improvement or some small changes in boiler or in combustion chamber we improve the efficiency of the boiler, will help to save the large amount of fuel and also reduce carbon dioxide emission. This efficiency of boiler can be improved by doing some changes in the combustion chamber of the boiler. By using tornado effect i.e. most effective method of producing acute turbulence by impingement of one flame on the other flame. By doing the arrangement of burner located in four corner of the furnace, tornado effect is created in the boiler. Due to the arrangement the intensive mixing of fuel and oxygen occurs at the centre, this promoting rapid combustion and reduces carbon loss. By using this arrangement we can increase the boiler efficiency. Read More...

-Priyanka Bhos ; Pooja Shedge; Rachana Sawant; Aditi Mate
In this project, we are creating a mechanism for efficient retrieval of the document using fingerprint & data mining over the cloud. Fingerprint is a technology that helps to find information similar to the reference data by some criteria (features). It is used for tracking the fact of illegal copying of multimedia or electronic documents. The basic algorithm of a "fingerprint" is the statistical evaluation of different features in document mapping, the presence of characteristic elements, and frequently encountered character combinations. Digital fingerprints are very sensitive even to the trivial replacement of symbols in text. In this project we propose the fuzzy search algorithm application in digital fingerprinting technology to fix some of the Fingerprint shortcomings for document mapping. Read More...

Improvement in Voltage Sag using Facts Device
-Md Asif Hussain ; Varsha Mehar
Sags and swells are the most common types of power quality disturbances. Millions of dollars are lost in productivity each year in the United States due to these disturbances. A simple understanding of the causes will allow for effective solutions to mitigating these disturbances in most applications. The definitions of sags and swells have evolved over the past fifteen years, as have the power quality instruments that measure them. Sags, or dips as they are referred to in the European communities, were initially any reduction in voltage below a user- defined low limit for between one cycle and 2.55 seconds. Swells, originally referred to as surges, were similar to sags, except that the voltage exceeded a user-defined high limit. Read More...

Single Phase High Utility Pattern Mining for Dynamic Datasets
-Abhinav Agnihotry ; Pallavi Purohit; Gurpreet Singh; Snehita P. Chhabria
High utility mining is a new development of data mining technology. Previous solutions of this problem utilize a two-phase process with candidate generation approach that is inefficient and not scalable with large dynamic databases. Two-phase method suffers from scalability issue due to the huge number of candidates. This paper proposes a novel algorithm that finds high utility patterns in a single phase without generating candidates. The oddity lies in a high utility pattern growth approach, a lookahead strategy, and a linear data structure. Our pattern growth approach searches a reverse set enumeration tree and prune search space by utility upper bounding. It uses closure property and a singleton property to look ahead and identify high utility patterns without enumeration. A linear data structure enables us to compute a tight bound for powerful pruning and to directly identify high utility patterns in an efficient and scalable way, which targets the root cause with prior algorithms. Our algorithm can be 1 to 2 orders of magnitude more efficient and is more scalable than the traditional state-of-the-art algorithms. Read More...

-Jyoti Rashmi Nayak ; Surajit Pattnaik
The reception of BIM has been moderate and numerous boundaries preventing across the board appropriation of this innovation have been uncovered. There are however no single obstruction that could be tackled exclusively with a specific end goal to empower more broad BIM appropriation. These boundaries are obstructing a wide range of parts of successful selection of BIM. BIM is an apparatus to enhance forms keeping in mind the end goal to achieve certain objectives, not an objective in claim right. In this research work, I examine how BIM has been adopted in a live construction project and how it is advantageous over general methods. The research aims to develop the understanding of the barriers hindering BIM adoption in order to make it more accessible for the AEC-industry. Read More...

It is not possible to build a house for human being at affordable cost and at rapid or faster way. In India there is huge housing shortage for urban & rural. Due to group of low income of human being it is not possible or it is difficult to build an economical house. The material required for construction of building are on high demand, as they are back bone of construction activity. Also the cost of construction, time required to complete the project, due to dubious climatic condition, varying workmanship and unanticipated inflate in material cost is major problem. To fulfill these all basic needs, India requires new innovative, energy efficient building material for strong & long life housing in rapid track construction method at affordable cost. Therefore one such material is reinforced expanded polystyrene wall panel, which is better replacement to the conventional building material. This lightweight reinforced expanded polystyrene wall panel provides faster construction & contributes to environmental protection, can give a solution to any of the above issues and concerns. An investigation focused on the strength capability of lightweight sandwich wall panel, method of construction & its properties. Additionally, this EPS panel deals with problem of connection for diagonal shear reinforcement & cover over the EPS .This problem can be avoided by placing the mild steel bars above the EPS & below the welded galvanized steel mesh .Also study deals with reinforced EPS wall panel strength under flexural loading (one point load) by treating these EPS panel as floor also studying strength under axial load by treating these EPS panel as a wall. It is found that cost of material for construction of building using reinforced PES technology is lesser than the brick wall construction. This Reinforced Expanded Polystyrene Technology gives a chance to meet the housing demand at the lower cost. Thus we aim to prove that by using Reinforced Expanded Polystyrene Technology as an alternate building material, we can achieve an easy, rapid & economical method of construction. Read More...

Enhancing the Personal Web Revisitation using the Context and the Content Keywords along with Recommendations
-Sreemol Sujix
Among the various activities of the users in the web, revisiting the previously viewed web pages has become a dominant one. As the web is massive and dynamic this process is not an easy task .There are chances for the users to forget the URL and title of the viewed page after many days when they try to re-find it. This paper utilizes the humans recalling process of the past events by using the episodic memory and the semantic memory. Thus a web revisitation technique has been proposed here to recollect information from the past by using the context and the content keywords. When a user accesses a web page more than a time period, it is understood that the page has a tendency to be revisited later by the user. So by using the unigram extraction the context information like time, location and activity of the user related to the focused page and the highlighted text from the focused web page are captured and stored in the database. Later when the user wants to revisit the web page the system searches the context and the content terms stored in the database and returns a ranked list of web pages to the user. Also as an enhancement to the proposed system a recommendation of related web pages viewed by another users of similar interests are and shown. Read More...
