Biometric Multi-Factor Authenticated Scheme for Cloud SaaS Authentication
-Abhishek Tiwari ; Juber Mirza
As we are accessing the data on cloud so authentication is very important. User authentication of any application is most important. Nowadays we are using only single factor authentication and multifactor authentication. In base paper, single mode & parallel mode used. The password base authentication and authentication token base mechanism is mostly used. If we talk about the higher-level security then we used biometric authentication. In biometric mostly fingerprint authentication is variously used. Hence, it provides the higher-level security. In some cases, the authentication token and fingerprint authentication can break by using SMS forwarding and the fingerprint data can capture by using rubber cement or silicone gel, Gelatin (aka gummy finger), Tap etc. In our scheme, we are improving the security level by using the dual finger and authentication token. In our scheme the authentication mechanism will done in three phases hence the security will increase. In first phase, the user will give input of any of the five-finger, which is registered. If it will match then in second phase authentication token will verify the registered number. In third phase, the system will decide which ginger you have to give out of five-registered finger. The scheme will improve the security level and also it will resolve the problem of finger matching like: - dirty finger, any cut on the finger etc. The main goal is improve the security for cloud Software as a Service (software as a service). It means the application, which is provided by software as a service can protect. Ex. Banking website, ATM, Research Industry, Cloud data. Read More...

A jack is a mechanical device used as a lifting devices to lift heavy loads or apply great forces. Various innovations have been done in the jacks with different electronic and mechanical devices. This project is based on pneumatic jack which is one of the efficient jack from all its types. The available jacks in the market are time consuming and also require much efforts which makes use of jack very difficult. As the jack is also required to set at "jack point" which further increases the complications in its application. So need of automatic inbuilt jack in automobiles is inescapable. It can be vastly used in light weight to medium weight cars. It can also be used in maintenance purpose. The project can be made highly feasible if considered while designing the vehicle, as the model is an inbuilt device assembly so a greater perfection, higher stability and accuracy can be seen if installed during the designing rather than installing it later after the design. Improving Charging Efficiency in Energy Harvesting Embedded Systems with Workload Scheduling
-Shahista Iqbal Nadaf ; Dr. Y. K. Kanse
The limited lifetime of the Electrical Energy Storage system (EES) & the unstableness of the Energy Harvesting (EH) system can be overcome by combining these two together to an energy harvesting embedded system and making them work cooperatively. In this system external energy is harvested to power the embedded systems. If harvested energy is enough to carry workload, extra power will be stored in electrical storage bank. Amount of energy storage is affected by various factors such as workload characteristics, efficiency of the energy harvesting module, the input/output voltage of the DC-DC converters & EES elements status. Aim is to store maximum energy in EES banks. This paper investigates how the storage efficiency of EES bank is affected by the workload scheduling of the embedded system. A DC-DC converter power consumption model is introduced and based on this model our analysis proves that in workload scheduling execution of high power task should be prioritized. Experimental results confirm that proposed scheduling strategy outperforms all other possible scheduling and increases the amount of stored energy by up to 10.41% in average. Read More...

Due to Exponential Growth of online user’s individual email accounts are been generally flooded with heap of emails. Most of the times it will be tedious job to individually read and classify these emails based on the desired classification protocol. Many methods are existing which are classifying the emails based on the host location and domain, this often results in unsatisfied outcomes, also there are several systems which use different AI techniques, algorithms like Statistical Bayesian , Naïve Bayes algorithm for classification of emails, but there is hardly any system developed so far to filter e-mails using the Fuzzy ANN. The drawback of existing classification systems is that they are not efficient enough, percentage of accuracy is low and are not capable of handling sarcasm. This paper proposes an approach towards building a model using NLP, Fuzzy ANN and machine learning techniques for classification of emails using pre-defined protocols. This model can be used in big data handling companies, news agencies and government offices. Read More...

Method and System for Remotely Monitoring Multiple Medical Parameters
-Siddheshwar Nangrale ; Rutuja Shelke ; Krishna Dachawar; Vivek Ballal
Measuring physical fitness conditions is important for people tracing their health conditions and preventing or controlling diseases and conditions. For example, a good gauge of the risk for diseases that can occur with more body fat is associated with body mass index (BMI); the higher BMI will cause the higher risk for certain diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, gallstones, breathing problems, and certain cancers. Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the use of a wireless non-contact system that uses radio-frequency electromagnetic fields to transfer data from a tag attached to an object, for the purposes of automatic identification and tracking. Some tags require no battery and are powered and read at short ranges via magnetic fields (electromagnetic induction). Others use a local power source and emit radio waves (electromagnetic radiation at radio frequencies). The tag contains electronically stored information which can be read from up to several meters (yards) away. Unlike a bar code, the tag does not need to be within line of sight of the reader and may be embedded in the tracked object. In this project, a physical fitness condition measurement system based on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is proposed. The system includes a RFID tag, a RFID reader, a main control board, and several peripherals such as blood pressure meter, ear-temperature meter, height-weight meter, balance measurement, and speed test for running back forth measurement. The RFID tag and reader are used to store and read a user’s identification as well as their physical fitness conditions. Read More...

In addition, these concrete has been left to compact and cure on its own i.e., by Master Glenium Sky 8233 as a Self-Compacting agent which governs both as water reducer as well as Viscosity Modifying Agent (VMA) with reference to the EFNARC specifications and using Poly-Ethylene Glycol (PEG) as an Internal / Self- curing agent. Most of the engineers and construction experts are expecting the solution for internal / self-curing agent. Since many countries are trying for different type of curing agents, the codal procedure has not framed yet. As an attempt, the addition of self-compacting and internal curing agent has been fixed as 2% and 0.05% based on the weight of cement. The glass fibre was used in a volume fraction of 1.5% for all types of concrete mix. The concrete has been tested for properties viz., workability, mechanical property and microstructure at an age of 7 days and 14 days of curing. The results obtained were compared and the optimum percentage was found out from the sample attempt. As a result of this project, we would have been developed a concrete that is environmental friendly with the minimum liberation of carbon-di-oxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. Read More...

Cyclic Hot Corrosion Behavior of Inconel-600 (Ni-Cr Super-Alloy) in Na2so4 +50%Nacl Molten Salty Environment at 8000c by Detonation Gun Sprayed Al2o3+40%Tio2 Coating
-Ravi Vishwakarma ; Mr. Anil Kumar
Metals and alloys sometimes experience accelerated oxidation when their surfaces are covered with a thin film of fused salt in an oxidizing gas atmosphere at elevated temperatures. This is known as hot corrosion where a porous non-protective oxide scale is formed at the surfaces and sulphides in the substrate. Hot corrosion has been identified as a serious problem in high temperature applications such as in boilers, gas turbines, waste incinerations, diesel engines, coal gasification plants, chemical plants and other energy generation systems. It is basically induced by the impurities such as Na, V, S, K, and Cl, which are present in the coal or in fuel oil used for combustion in the abovementioned applications. The use of Ni-, Fe-, and Co- based super alloys in high temperature applications such as gas turbines, boilers, etc. is well known, and many more applications are still to be explored. Although the superalloys have adequate mechanical strength for such high temperature applications, they are prone to degradation by hot corrosion/high temperature oxidation during long term exposures. . Therefore, the superalloys need to be protected, however the protection system must be practical, reliable, and economically viable. Read More...

-Saurabh Kumar Dadhore ; Pradeep Dhote; Suryakant Ghoghre
The objective of this research is to model and analysis the design of anthropomorphic robotic hand as per required criteria which manifest enhanced and optimized solutions to common designing problems such as stress distribution, better suitable material, cosmesis and symmetricity characteristics. Current robotic hand designs are openly available. Tolerance issues, printing errors, and poor instructions lead to a significant number of robotics that cannot be assembled, do not work correctly, or break with light use. The aim is to provide a solution to these problems through the use of equation based scaling and proper instructions. After modelling the utility and application of anthropomorphic hand mostly depends upon its efficient and effective mechanism with its cosmesis properties as well. So design must need to analyse cosmesis properties as well which mainly focus upon its decorative and adaptive look. Now a days looks matter a lot because its adaptive nature depends upon human mentality of its perception. As per daily life applications its interactions with local atmospheric constraints is a continuous process which directly impact upon the longevity of material and its performance. Design is done on CATIA V5 R20 and Analysis is done on Ansys 15.0. Finally got Von Misses stress values, principal stress values and displacement values through analysis 5000N payload (assumed on the basis of industrial criteria). The load gives safe values without any failure. Concluded that strength and symmetricity got in a single model. Read More...

A Literature Review of Photovoltaic Power Control using MPPT and Boost Converter
-Shilpa ; Neha Gupta
As the consumption of the energy is increasing day by day, idea of exploring renewable energy sources are also growing. Due to our limited energy sources, renewable energy sources are the future. Significant progress has been made over the last few years in the research and development of renewable energy. Among these resources, solar energy is considered one of the most reliable renewable energy source. However, solar energy systems generally suffer from their low efficiencies and high costs. In order to overcome these drawbacks, maximum power should be extracted from the PV panel using MPPT techniques to optimize the efficiency of overall PV system. The energy conversion efficiency of a PV generation system (PGS) is low because the solar cell exhibits nonlinear current versus voltage (I–V) and power versus voltage (P–V) characteristics. The various MPPT algorithms are discussed in the paper. The applications supported by these MPPT algorithms are also discussed. Read More...

-Yash C Oza ; Aatifhusain A Sulaimani; Harsh H Gandhi; Arvind Pisharoty; Jay N Mandalia
The regulation of green house gases to control global warming and rapidly increasing fuel prices have given tremendous pressure on the design engineers to enhance the current designs of the automobile using minimal changes in the shapes. To fulfil the above requirements, design engineers have been using the concepts of aerodynamics to enhance the efficiency of automobiles. Although aerodynamics depends on so many factors, this research concentrates on external devices, which affect the flow around the automobile body to reduce the resistance of the vehicle in normal working conditions. An automotive prototype body is modelled and studied using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The limitations of conventional wind tunnel experiment and rapid developments in computer hardware, considerable efforts have been invested in the last decade to study vehicle aerodynamics computationally. In the recent times, CFD simulations, with the advent of computer architectures with superfast processing capabilities are rapidly emerging as an attractive alternative to conventional wind tunnel tests which are either too restrictive or expensive, for aerodynamic styling of a car. The project aims to modify the outer surface of an automotive aerodynamically with the help of aerodynamic aids in order to reduce the effect of drag forces and lift forces on the vehicle. Project involves the study of different heights of vortex generators and different angles of spoilers through CFD and the optimum designs are further studied for combined results. It is expected to attain vehicle Drag Reduction and Lift Reduction. Read More...

Treatment of Adsorbable Organic Halides from Pulp and Paper Industry Wastewater using a GAC-SBBR Pilot Plant System
-Nitesh Kumar Awasthi ; Nikhil Tripathi; Kalpana Pathak ; Ashutosh Mishra
Wastewater originating from recycled paper industry is known to be potentially toxic/inhibitory. Adsorbable Organic Halides (AOX) are among the toxic constituents generated from the recycled paper industry. The problems associated with AOX in the environment are their accumulation in the food chain and their persistence in nature. Hence, it is imperative to improve the effluent quality emanating from the recycled paper industry in order to meet the future discharge limits. One the plausible treatment technique is the use of the Sequencing Batch Biofilm Reactor (SBBR) with an option for Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) dosing. Pilot scale reactor based on combined physical-biological treatment of this GAC-SBBR system has been fabricated and evaluated for performance in the treatment of effluent from a recycled paper mill. The pilot GAC-SBBR was constructed in Muda Recycled Paper Mill located in Kajang, Selangor. It comprises of a High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) biofilm reactor with a diameter of 1.2 m, maximum water depth of 1.8 m and packed with 200 g L-1of 2-3 mm granular activated carbon (coconut shells). The entire plant set-up was successfully commissioned. As a first step in the design procedure, a pilot test was run for a period of 2 months which include biomass acclimatization process for 1 month. Preliminary results showed that the GAC-SBBR could be an appropriate technology for the treatment of the wastewater. Based on reactor operation, the removal efficiencies of Pentachlorophenol (PCP) from the treated effluent was in the range between 82-100%, while the COD removal efficiency was between 39-81%. The initial results of pilot scale showed that the biofilm attached onto granular activated carbon can substantially remove the PCP recalcitrant in the wastewater. This research uses PCP as a model for AOX compound to study the adsorption and biodegradation of PCP in pilot plant biofilm reactor system. Read More...

To Simulate High Voltage Coaxial Cable Parameters on Copper Vapor Laser Performance
-Shweta Sahu ; Dr. Malaya Saurava Das
This project aims to study the effects of high voltage coaxial cable (RG 220) parameters on copper vapor laser (CVL) performance. Pulsed power supply is used to provide high voltage pulse to CVL through high voltage RG-220 coaxial cable. Coaxial cable parameters like inductances, capacitances and resistances are directly related to the length of cable and severely affect the performance of CVL. Simulation studies will be carried out using 2 meter high voltage coaxial cable. In CVL, a fast electric discharge directly excites copper atoms, High frequency permitting high average power output. Overall efficiency of CVL is quite low near about 1%, but highest among all types of visible radiation lasers. The major challenge to present this research paper is to achieve the desired output CVL output. Simulation results show how an electromagnetic wave distorts due to several possible reasons such as propagation delay, and attenuation. Read More...

Comparison of Different Lengths of Coaxial Cable to Operate Copper Vapor Laser
-Shweta Sahu ; Dr. Malaya Saurava Das
The objective of the project work is to observe the performance of copper vapor laser (CVL) in different operating conditions. In this project four different lengths of RG – 220 coaxial cables is used to simulate the CVL performance. Also comparison of all four lenths is presented in this paper. The length of coaxial cable plays an important role in the performance of copper vapor laser as if the length of coaxial cable increases the more attenuation can take place even when load impedance and characteristic impedance of the cable is matched. The simulations were carried out for different lengths of the coaxial cable i.e. 2meter, 3meter, 4meter and 5meter. The simulation results are presented here to obtain the best suitable condition to operate the copper vapor laser. Read More...
