An Analytical study on Data Security using Blockchain and AI
-Kahandal Kalyani Machindra ; Sonawane Simran; Shah Mohmmedsalik; Swapnil Shinde
Immediate and effective treatment of the patients is the central goal of the Doctor. The identification of the ailment is one of the most important first steps that the doctor performs towards improving the state and wellbeing of the patient. This is done through various tests and correlating the symptoms and the results of the disease. When there isn’t a strong correlation, the doctor can refer the previous cases with the same parameters to help the patient rather than perform trial and error on the patient until a particular treatment is deemed fruitful, which can be a highly painful ordeal for the patient. Therefore, there are data vendors that accumulate and disperse medical data amongst various hospitals and clinics, but most of the vendors and aggregators have a low level of trust which hinders data sharing between them. Therefore, the Blockchain platform can be of use here as it can guarantee the security of the data, and combined with Artificial Intelligence an effective access control mechanism is formulated that can guarantee that unauthorized personnel do not get access to sensitive Public Health Records. -Vikram Tilekar ; Kaustubh Jadhav; Yogesh Mehetre; Azhar Khan; Sarika Patil
Now a day in most of the advanced country doctors is using data seeking a method of immediate and effective treatment for their patients. Because of this the method the patient’s medical condition is easily diagnosed and thereby a right treatment can be started immediately. In the paradigm of data seeking most of the times data vendors are involved in the process of data providing. Oftenly these data venders are acting as the mediators in between the data seeker and the data providers. However, it is become difficult to trust on the data vendors as they leak the crucial information about the providers or they lack the data itself. So to overcome this Blockchains are considered as the one of the best methods to provide the security for the data over the network. And secondly providing the data access control at the data provider’s end is always a headache, so this paper studies most of the past work to understand their flaws to introduce a new methodology. Arduino Based Anti-Collision and Automatic Braking System for Vehicles
-Snehal R. Mulmane ; Tripura Pasnur
This system is proposed to reduce number of road accidents which have been increased drastically over the past years. Majority of road accidents are due to collisions with stationary objects or moving objects. The task of collision avoidance system here is to track objects of potential collision risk and determine an action to avoid collision. The basic idea here is to improve the safety measurements of the vehicle by using advanced systems available in the field of electronics and automobile. This is an Atmega328P microcontroller based system which uses ultrasonic sensor and IR sensor for braking mechanism. The controller of the vehicle measures the distance ahead continuously using the ultrasonic module. Further the system checks measured distance against the respective car’s ahead distance through wireless module, simultaneously IR sensor checks the RPM of wheel, which then is converted into speed (km/hr). If the received distance found to be less than a particular limit and its corresponding speed limit satisfies the condition of collision then this system provides a warning to the driver when there is an imminent collision. When the distance between car and obstacle goes beyond limit with respect to the speed, then the braking system gets activated. Here, the servo motor performs mechanism to apply the brakes on wheels by rotating its shafts, thereby stopping the vehicle. Read More...

Reconfigurable Architecture for Internet Packet Filter
-Navinkumar Gajakumar Patil ; Hemant Jeevan Magadum; Lakshmaiah Alluri
Internet packet filer is one of the most widely used security approach in networking. Now a days the speed of internet is increases so, there is demand for high speed packet classification engine. Most of the available packet classifier engines are based on Ternary Content Addressable Memory (TCAM). This provide the higher throughput at the cost of large resource and high power consumption. Alternative is the linear search algorithm. It is less complex and consume less power but the throughput of this is less. It has most predictable behavior. When there is moderate number of filter rules then linear search algorithm is used. The proposed architecture is modified version of linear filter algorithm. This shows 3 times higher throughput than linear search. Also, it requires small amount of FPGA resources. This packet filter is designed in Verilog and tested on Xilinx Zynq 7000 series FPGA with 30 complex filter rules based on standard five header fields. The proposed architecture works on maximum operating frequency of 215.5 MHz. It supports 1 Gbps internet connection with throughput of 21.55 Mpps (Million packets per second). Read More...

Non-Linear Analysis of Multistory RC Irregular Building for Seismic Load by using Response Spectrum Method
-Venkteshvar Singh ; Jitendra Yadav
A structure can be classified as irregular if it contains irregular distributions of mass, stiffness and strength or due to irregular geometrical configurations. Many buildings in the present scenario have irregular configurations both in plan and elevation. This in future may subject to devastating earthquakes. Codes suggests the different limits for these irregularities like as per IS 1893:2002, a storey in a building is said to contain mass irregularity if its mass exceeds 200% than that of the adjacent storey. In case, it is necessary to identify the performance of the structures to withstand against disaster for both new and existing one. This study is concerned with the effects of various vertical irregularities on the seismic response of a structure. The objective of the project is to carry out Response spectrum analysis (RSA) of vertically irregular RC building frame structure by the use of STAAD.PRO software of structure design. This study is limited to reinforced concrete framed structures subjected to seismic loads (dead load, live load and earthquake load). For this, RC frames of G+9 multi-story buildings are considered. All the frames are assumed to be located in zone V. The seismic parameters such as storey drift, base shear, peak story shear and top node displacement of irregular buildings are compared with that of a regular building. Result found from the response spectrum analysis that in irregular shaped building displacements are more than that of regular shaped building. The overall performance of regular building is found better than irregular building. This study may be used for designing new irregular building structures and for analyzing existing irregular building. Read More...

Smart Traffic Light Control System
-K. Revathi ; K. Monika; K. Jyoshna Reddy; S. Uday Bhaskar
Traffic light control systems are widely used to monitor and control the flow of automobiles through the junction of many roads. They aim to realize smooth motion of cars in the transportation routes. However, the synchronization of multiple traffic light systems at adjacent intersections is a complicated problem given the various parameters involved. Conventional systems do not handle variable flows approaching the junctions. In addition, the mutual interference between adjacent traffic light systems, the disparity of cars flow with time, the accidents, the passage of emergency vehicles, and the pedestrian crossing are not implemented in the existing traffic system. This leads to traffic jam and congestion. We propose a system based on PIC microcontroller that evaluates the traffic density using IR sensors and accomplishes dynamic timing slots with different levels. Moreover, a portable controller device is designed to solve the problem of emergency vehicles stuck in the overcrowded roads. Read More...

Induction Motor Speed Control using PLC And SCADA
-M. Harshavardhan Reddy ; N. Teja; N. Mallikarjuna; D. Murali
Automation can be defined as the technology by which a process or way is performed without human succor. Automatic control, is the use of various control system for operating equipment such as machinery, processes in industries, boilers and electrostatic precipitator, switching on communication networks, navigation and stabilization of ships, aircraft and other applications and vehicles with trifling human intervention. Some processes have been completely automated. The motor speed is controlled via the driver as an open loop control system. To make a more accurate closed loop control of motor speed we will use a tachometer (revolution-counter, tach, rev-counter, RPM gauge) to measure the speed and feed it back to the PLC, which compares to the desired value and take a control action, then the signal is transferred to the motor – via driver – to increase / decrease the speed. We will measure the speed of the motor using an incremental rotary encoder by adjusting parameters (PLC, driver) and also, we need to reduce the overall cost of the system. Our control system will be held using the available Siemens PLC. In addition, we will monitor motor parameters via SCADA system. Read More...

DSP Implementation of a Harmonic Reduction Strategy for a DC Link Inverter in a WECS
-Raghuraman
The use of alternative sources of energy appears to be an indomitable necessity to bridge the gap between supply and demand. Though a series of options continue to surface, solar and wind emerge as a viable and sustainable resources at least for most parts of the year. However the speed of wind driven generators keep fluctuating and invite interfaces to suit the system needs. The prelude endears extra emphasis in the preview of grid connected systems to avoid adversaries. The imminent actions of the power switches along with the presence of non- linear elements in the interfaces join the inductive nature of the load to introduce harmonics in the systems. It becomes essential to address the ill effects of the higher frequency components and ensure a satisfactory environment for the transfer of power. The advent of solid state processors offer a platform to process the signals and realize the design of the control methodology for the purpose of generating PWM pulses. The endeavor extends to articulate the DS processor with a function to shape the trigger pulses for the active devices in the dc link inverter in order that it eliminates the multiple frequency components and serves to enhance the fundamental component of the output voltage. The main objective of this paper is to design and implement a digital security system which can deploy in secured zone where only authentic person can be entered. We implemented a security system containing door locking system using passive type of RFID which can activate, authenticate, and validate the user and unlock the door in real time for secure access. The advantage of using passive RFID is that it functions without a battery and passive tags are lighter and are less expensive than the active tags. A centralized system manages the controlling, transaction and operation task. The door locking system functions in real time as the door open quickly when user put their tag in contact of reader. The system also creates a log containing check-in and check-out of each user along with basic information of user. Read More...

Challenges of Unconventional Superconductors
-Jeyabuvaneswari.J
Since the discovery of high-Tc cuprates, the quest for new superconductors has shifted toward more anisotropic, strongly correlated materials with lower carrier densities and competing magnetic and charge-density wave orders. Although these materials’ features enhance superconducting correlations, they also result in serious problems for applications at liquid nitrogen (and higher) temperatures and strong magnetic fields so that such conventional characteristics as the critical temperature Tc and the upper critical field Hc2 are no longer the main parameters of merit. This happens because of strong fluctuations of the order parameter, thermally activated hopping of pinned vortices, and electromagnetic granularity, as has been established after extensive investigations of cuprates and Fe- based superconductors (FBSs). In this paper, I give an overview of those mechanisms crucial for power and magnet applications and discuss the materials’ restrictions that must be satisfied to make superconductors useful at high temperatures and magnetic fields. These restrictions become more and more essential at higher temperatures and magnetic fields, particularly for the yet-to be discovered superconductors operating at room temperatures. In this case, the performance of superconductors is limited by destructive fluctuations of the order parameter so that higher superfluid density and weaker electronic anisotropy, which reduce these fluctuations, can become far more important than higher Tc. Car Driven by Fuel Cell using Hydrogen Gas Generated by Chemical Reaction of Aluminium
-H Sanjaykumar ; Sharankumar Patil
With the rising prices of fuel, people are already looking at alternative modes of transport, electric cars being one. But what if you had a car that could run on water? This prototype draws power from water and aluminium and is claimed to have zero emissions. The process of running the car on water is based on simple fuel cell technology, which uses electrochemical reactions to produce electricity. The generated electricity is sent to an electric motor that fuels and drives the car. A fuel cell powered vehicle is conceptually simple. The fuel cell provides an efficient means of converting chemical energy to electricity. If a fuel cell with adequate power capacity could be housed within the engine compartment of a vehicle, its electrical output could be used to drive an electric motor for propulsion as well as all of the electrical ancillary equipment of a modern vehicle. This work concentrates much about turbines, their maintenance and various equipments installed to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient performance of the turbine. This deals with the controls of a turbine to regulate the speed to required and tripping devices and their working at emergencies. Fuel cell vehicles have a high potential to reduce both energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. However, due to the low density, hydrogen gas limits the amount of hydrogen stored on board. This restriction also prevents wide penetration of fuel cells. Hydrogen storage is the key technology towards the hydrogen society. Currently high-pressure tanks and liquid hydrogen tanks are used for road tests, but both technologies do not meet all the requirements of future fuel cell vehicles. Read More...

Analysis of Behavior of Post Tensioning Slab for Various Framing under the Influence of Lateral Load
-Gaurav Singh Chouhan ; Sachin Nagayach; Rakesh Patel
Looking at modern trend of construction post tensioning system is used in constructions over pre-stressing systems as post tensioning has less losses compared to prestresssing and also we can give any shape to tendons in post tensioning. Hence Post Tensioned (PT) tendons are added in flat slab as post tensioning gives superior performance because the PT flat floor systems provide improved crack and deflection control, and allow relatively large span to thickness ratios of the order of 35 to 45 which is less in case of RC up to 30. It also reduces floor to floor height, get lighter structures. Post tensioning also gives construction efficiency, sustainability and durability. But understanding and analysis of flat floor system behavior subjected to lateral forces and/or displacements in areas prone to earthquake, i.e. high seismic zone regions, is matter of concern. It becomes a subject of interest to find the seismic force resisting capacity of such buildings in the presence or absence of Lateral Force Resisting System. For that nonlinear static analysis is used as it is partial and relatively simple intermediate solution to complex problem of predicting force and deformation demands imposed on a structure and its elements due to ground motion. This analysis is an attempt to evaluate the real strength of structure and it is a useful and effective tool for performance based design. Read More...

Driver Drowsiness and Alcohol Detection using IOT and Machine Learning
-Shubham Rohan Pandit ; Mallikarjun Chanbas Fatate; Swapnil Chandrabhan Jamdar
Driver drowsiness detection is a key technology that can prevent fatal car accidents caused by drowsiness of driver. Detecting the drowsiness and alcohol taken by the driver is one of the surest ways of measuring driver fatigue. This project uses existing prototype of drowsiness detection system and alcohol detection system. This system captures and examines the eyes of the driver and triggers an alarm when he/she is drowsy. The priority is on improving the safety of the driver. Driver fatigue often becomes a direct cause of many traffic accidents. Therefore, there is a need to develop the systems that will detect and notify a driver of her/him bad psycho-physiological condition, which could significantly reduce the number of fatigue-related car accidents. One of the technical possibilities to implement driver drowsiness detection systems is to use the vision-based approach. This report presents the currently used driver drowsiness detection systems and alcohol detection system. This system captures the human face, but mainly focuses on eyes of the driver and detects the drowsiness. Using machine learning the system detects and examines drowsiness and after detection if driver found sleepy the system triggers an alarm. This system detects the alcohol MQ6 sensors. Read More...
