-Mahesh Janardan Sonawane ; Sajan Rajaram Somvanshi; Sujit Shivaji Sonawane; Yogesh Bhausaheb Patole
A method was generated to spread the fertilizer uniformly over a fallow land by dropping the fertilizer over the impeller disc. The system consists of a three wheels, two at the front and one at the back. These two wheels at the front are used to impel the fertilizer. The two hoppers are used to store the fertilizer; these hoppers are placed at some height from the wheel axle so that the fertilizer falls on to the impeller. The hopper is provided with flow control mechanism. In fertilization, the flow maintenance is necessary. Generally every crop should get sufficient amount of fertilizer. The fertilizer is spread using the centrifugal force. This high value of centrifugal force is generated with the help of proper gear reduction ratio and electric motor. The gears are coupled to the shaft of wheel and motor is connected to the battery. With this machine, possible percentage reduction in time required for Fertilization is 50% and reduction in labour cost as compared to conventional method is 80%. It has solved the problem of traditional way of Fertilization. Read More...

-Bhawana Singh ; Achal Kumar
This idea of implementation is to use renewable energy from environment for generating electricity from one of the renewable energy sources. Now a day many of items are electronic which requires electric power to operate. If we can generate that amount of electric power that can be used to operate low power electronics device, it will be very useful and notable amount of power can be saved. For this purpose we are using stray sound energy that can be converted into electric energy with the help of energy conversion methods and can be used further. A piezo-electric sensor is used as a transducer to convert sound energy into electrical energy and that energy is used to operate low power device. This idea is very simple, handy and convenient and can be used during festivals, parties or noisy industries etc. The output of a transducer is enhanced by the use of signal conditioning device. The resultant electrical energy is stored in a battery such that it can be used for further applications. Read More...

-Sabbi Bangari ; K. Samba Siva Rao; B. Bapiraju
In present days the manufacturers are facing the challenges in attaining the high productivity, quality and overall economy in the field of manufacturing by machining. Among all the machining processes available drilling is a major and common hole making process and it uses the drill bits to cut or enlarge the holes in solid materials such as wood or metal. The present work is to investigate the effect of the drilling process parameters on the multiple responses of Volume of material removal rate (VMRR) and surface roughness (Ra). A series of experiments were carried out on AA6082 material using carbide twisted drills on CNC machine. Speed, feed, depth of cut and drill sizes are considered as the process parameters and taguchi’s standard L16 orthogonal array (OA) has been followed for conducting the experiments. The optimal setting of process parameters was done by employing taguchi method coupled with the desirability function analysis (DFA) and analysis of variance (ANOVA) methods. From the results, it is concluded that speed is the most influencing factor for the combined desirability index value. The optimal combination of process parameters for multi-response value is obtained at speed of 2000 rpm, feed of 400 mm/min, depth of cut of 12 mm and drill size of 13mm. Read More...

Non-Linear Analysis of Multistory RC Irregular Building for Seismic Load by using Response Spectrum Method
-Venkteshvar Singh ; Prof. Jitendra Yadav; Prof. Pradeep Kumar T. V
A structure can be classified as irregular if it contains irregular distributions of mass, stiffness and strength or due to irregular geometrical configurations. Many buildings in the present scenario have irregular configurations both in plan and elevation. This in future may subject to devastating earthquakes. Codes suggests the different limits for these irregularities like as per IS 1893:2002, a storey in a building is said to contain mass irregularity if its mass exceeds 200% than that of the adjacent storey. In case, it is necessary to identify the performance of the structures to withstand against disaster for both new and existing one. This study is concerned with the effects of various vertical irregularities on the seismic response of a structure. The objective of the project is to carry out Response spectrum analysis (RSA) of vertically irregular RC building frame structure by the use of STAAD.PRO software of structure design. This study is limited to reinforced concrete framed structures subjected to seismic loads (dead load, live load and earthquake load). For this, RC frames of G+9 multi-story buildings are considered. All the frames are assumed to be located in zone V. The seismic parameters such as storey drift, base shear, peak story shear and top node displacement of irregular buildings are compared with that of a regular building. Result found from the response spectrum analysis that in irregular shaped building displacements are more than that of regular shaped building. The overall performance of regular building is found better than irregular building. This study may be used for designing new irregular building structures and for analyzing existing irregular building. Read More...

One of the main causes of death is a heart attack or heart failure. Which most of the time never unleashes its symptoms before it happens. So the prediction of heart failure in medical science is still a mysterious field. There are many physical parameters that are responsible for heart failure, according to medical science. Some of them are weight, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and many more. Complex event processing (CEP) engines consider most of these physical attributes to predict possibilities of heart failure. In order to learn the prediction scenario, CEP engines find enormous past data. Therefore, supplying huge information to the CEP engines and other deep learning frameworks is difficult most of the time. In this paper, we will propose a good way to predict the heart failure conditions using Fuzzy c-means technique and Logistic regression model. This will empower by Hidden Markov Model and Fuzzy Logic. Read More...

-Shashank Yadav ; D. C Rahi
Our life is very precious and water is one of the most important natural resource for the existence of our life. For the last two decades; there is an increased interest in the study of nitrate in the ground water. Earlier the nitrate concentration in the ground water was very low nearly 5ppm. However due to pollution the nitrate concentration in the water has increased considerably. In the environment, nitrogen is found in different forms like Nitrate (No3-), Nitrite (No2-), and Ammonia (NH3) and Nitrogen gas (N2). Nitrate pollution of water is mainly due to excessive use of fertilizers, human sewage and livestock manure. Nitrates presence in the potable water beyond permissible limits is the major issue today for the people living in the western Rajasthan. It is affecting their health badly. Infants, less than six months can be victim of nitrate poisoning “Methemoglobinemiaâ€.(blue baby syndrome), Beside this gastric cancer, hypothyroidism ,hormonal imbalance disorder, birth malformations and growing hypertension in the human beings is also attributed to the increased concentration of nitrate in the water. Therefore our prime objective was to remove nitrate from the contaminated water by an affordable and easy method. Read More...

Study of Manual Transmission System
-Kanojia Akshay Dinesh ; Sumeet Sachin Chavan; Prof. Vijay B. Sarode
Almost everyone in this world has at least once used the conventional manual transmission system and knows its logic of working. Everyone knows that the dock gear gets engaged to the selected gear and the power is transmitted through this gear. But not many know about what exactly happens inside the transmission gearbox. All the moving parts we know of are the engine, clutch, the selected gear and the output shaft of the transmission gearbox. But there is more movement than that is thought to be, the counter shaft or the lay shaft moves constantly and it has all the gears on it which are moving too, these gears eventually give motion to the non-engaged gears on the output shaft. There are several different conditions here too, such as when the clutch is engaged or disengaged, whether the vehicle is static or is in motion and whether the transmission gearbox is set at some gear or is in the neutral condition. Once all these various actions taking place in the vehicle transmission are identified, we can move ahead to point out the advantages and disadvantages of this conventional manual transmission system. Through this we can discuss about the clutch present in this transmission system and how it proves to be very helpful in this system. Thus, through this paper we all come to know that this world is full of endless possibilities; there are still a lot of methods to modify and improve this transmission system. Read More...

Assessment of Physicochemical Properties of Hiran River for Irrigation Purposes
-Rohit Kumar ; Prof. R. K Bhatia
The quality of the available water must be tested to check its fitness prior to use. Irrigation water, whether diverted from streams or pumped from tube wells, contain appreciable quantities of harmful substances in solution those may reduce crop yield and deteriorate soil fertility. The main characteristics to assess the quality of irrigation water are Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Sodium Absorptions Ratio (SAR), Electrical Conductivity (EC) and Chloride. The quality of water is being deteriorated due to disposal of untreated industrial wastewater and agricultural saline effluents directly to groundwater and canal water. The application of poor quality water for irrigation can cause soil problems such as salinity, sodicity, alkalinity, toxicity and water infiltration rate. Read More...

Electricity Generation by Wind Injection System
-Manish Mahale ; Bhuwanesh Sadgune; Prashant Sonawane; Prathamesh Rathi
Wind Energy Generation system has exist around thousands of years. An innovative concept in wind energy generation is described which significantly performs like traditional wind turbines having same aerodynamic characteristics but different wind speed and different design, that delivers significantly higher output, at reduction in overall cost. Its 1st innovational feature is the elimination of tower-mounted turbines which are costly, inefficient, and harmful for living beings. Succeeding and vital innovative feature of new system is that it captures wind flow through all direction from the intake and thereby there is no need for a passive or active yaw control mechanism for the system. Third, it accelerates the flow of wind at interval of Venturi section, later on it expands and free into the surrounding through a diffuser section. It is seen that it is possible to capture, accelerate and concentrate the wind. The system increased wind velocities result in significant improvement in the power output. Read More...

A Comparative Study of Induced Residual Stress during Welding of Plate-to-Plate T-jointed Metal Plates (ASTM A572)
-Ankur Sharma
Welding represents one of the most complex manufacturing processes in terms of number of variables involved and factors contributing to the final output but it is one of the most important operations of the manufacturing industry. The Objective of this paper is to study the values of residual stresses which were induced during the preparation of the test specimens. The residual stress which was induced during welding operation was measured by two distinguished processes, the incremental hole drilling method and in second method, a multichannel strain indicator device was used to measure residual stresses. Experimental residual stress measurement was performed by placing the strain gauge rosettes. The data received from these strain rosettes were processed by the H-DRILL software. This software directly converted the input strain values into the corresponding residual stress values, and then the strains values were feed into the MCSI device to collect the result. Read More...

Spherical Roller Bearing
-Amitkumar Satish Jain
Rolling element bearings are essential for rotating machinery. The spherical roller bearing (SRB) is one variant seeing increasing use, because it is self-aligning and can support high loads. It is becoming increasingly important to understand how the SRB responds dynamically under a variety of conditions. This doctoral dissertation introduces a computationally efficient, three-degree-of-freedom, SRB model that was developed to Predict the transient dynamic behaviors of a rotor-SRB system. In the model, bearing forces and deflections were calculated as a function of contact deformation and bearing geometry parameters according to nonlinear Hertzian contact theory. The results reveal how some of the more important parameters; such as diametral clearance, the number of rollers, and osculation number; influence ultimate bearing performance. Distributed defects, such as the waviness of the inner and outer ring, and localized defects, such as inner and outer ring defects, are taken into consideration in the proposed model. Following model verification, a numerical simulation was carried out successfully for a full rotor-bearing system to demonstrate the application of this newly developed SRB model in a typical real world analysis. Accuracy of the model was verified by comparing measured to predicted behaviors for equivalent systems. Read More...
