The brain tumors, are the most common and aggressive disease and it is challenging task to detect brain tumor in early stages of life, it leads to a very short life expectancy in their highest grade. Thus, treatment planning will be a key stage to improve the quality of life of patients. To evaluate the tumor in a brain used various image techniques such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and ultrasound image etc. Mostly, in this work MRI images are used to diagnose tumor in the brain. The huge amount of data generated by MRI scan that helps to classify tumor vs non-tumor in a particular time. But it having some limitation (i.e.) accurate quantitative measurements will be provided for limited number of images. To prevent death rate of human trusted and automatic classification scheme are essential. The automatic brain tumor classification will be very challenging task in large spatial and structural variability of surrounding region of brain tumor. In this work, automatic brain tumor detection will be proposed by using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) classification. The deeper architecture design will be performed by using small kernels. The weight of the neuron will be given as small. Read More...

Seismic Analysis of Modified Industrial Structure: A Review
-Sagar Mishra ; Rakesh Patel
Resistance of structures against earthquake plays an extensive role in construction industry. A structure should consist of strength, stability and ductility to accommodate both horizontal and vertical loadings. Horizontal loading leads to the production of sway and further results in vibration and storey drift. Strength and stiffness are two major keys for any structure to resist gravity and lateral loads. Provision of bracings or dampers to any structure contributes to lateral stability. After assigning dampers or bracings, the general system changes to lateral load resisting system (LLRS). In this study we are presenting literature survey of publications and journals related to analysis and design of steel structures. Read More...

Data Leakage Detection
-Kirti Kalambe ; Shweta Gaikwad; Vishlesha Kubal
In the business, sometimes sensitive data must be handed over to trusted third parties. So some companies distribute their data to trusted third parties. These companies (data distributor) found their some of the data in unauthorized place (e.g., on the Web or somebody’s laptop). The distributor understands that the leaked data came from one or more agents. Our goal is to detect which agent leaks that data and provide the security to that data. When the distributor’s sensitive data have been leaked by agents, and to identify the agent that leaked the data. We propose data allocation strategies (across the agents) that improve the probability of identifying leakages. These methods do not rely on alterations of the released data (e.g., watermarks). In some cases we can also inject “realistic but fake†data records to further improve our chances of detecting leakage and identifying the guilty party. The Main Aim of the system can be given as follows: Identify data leakages from distributed data using some data allocation strategies and find out the fake agent who leaks that data. Improve probability of finding out fake agent and provide the security to that data. Read More...

Designing and Performance Analysis of Fir Filters Using Windowing Technique and Comparison with a New Proposed Window Function
-Amit Kumar Patil
A new window function is presented which like the well-known Hamming window offers a preferred property for use in signal spectrum analysis: the sum of window coefficients with its shifted version by half of the order is constant for the overlapped region in the time domain. In high orders, the new window has main-lobe width equal to Hamming window. For low orders, the window parameters are modified to have smaller main-lobe width compared to Hamming window, while maintaining smaller maximum side-lobe peak. The results indicate performance improvement of the proposed window compared to Kaiser and Gaussian windows. The FIR filters designed by windowing method show the efficiency of the new window. The challenging problem faced by the paralyzed people is their independent mobility. They need an external help to perform their daily activities. The main objective of this project is to rehabilitate the disabled people who cannot perform their voluntary movement. The hardware implementation of the wheel chair will be a mobility aid for the patients who are extremely suffering from the quadriplegia. The wheel chair will work based on the head movement of the user. The recognized gestures are used to generate motion control commands to the controller so that it can control the motion of the wheel chair according to the users intention. Head movement is one of the natural gestures which can be easily tracked. The head movement is the gesture which can be performed by the quadriplegic patients whose body parts below the neck is paralyzed. So the head movement is possible for the patients. The wheelchair includes the accelerometer sensor which detects the movement of head and the controller will process the signal and will transmit to the wheel chair for its navigation. This is will offer a small relief to the patients who are tolerating from this condition. The wheel chair is implemented in a cost effective way which reduces the complexity in the design. It is intended to be used as a human-friendly interface for elderly and disabled people to operate wheelchair using their head gestures rather than their hands. -B. Nagaraju ; A. Vijay kumar; B. Nagaraju; B. Nani Lawrence; B. Dileep
Non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures which involves the use of injectable derma fillers are highly risky as patients are susceptible to side effects and complications that may cause unwanted changes in their appearance. This research explores an alternative method of non-surgical rhinoplasty for patients seeking augmentation of the nose with the use of three-dimensional (3D) printing. Most rhinoplasty procedures are conducted with the intention of enhancing the aesthetical features of the nose, a 3D model nose was designed based on the combination of the average and the ideal aesthetic parameters of the Northern European Caucasians and South Asia Chinese nose. The modelling of nose is done using the Catia CAD software. An initial design was sketched in a polygon mesh form and further improved on. Different printing materials and infill densities were compared to determine the suitable printing technique. The final nose model is then printed using the Ultimaker 3D printer using Polylactic acid (PLA) with an infill density of 100% at a thickness of 1.4 mm. An inner layer to the 3D printed nose was developed for comfortable attachment of the nose model to human skin. The inner layer was fabricated using agar gelatine. Experiments were carried out to increase the strength and adhesiveness of the gelatine so that it could adhere to the human skin and the PLA surface. Tensile and adhesive strength tests were carried out to determine the suitable gel composition for the attachment of the nose to the user’s face. The key outcome from the experiments using natural gelatine was capability of gel to act as an inner layer for the temporary attachment of the 3D nose model to the human skin. Read More...

Interaction between External Debt and Economic Growth in Nigeria: A VAR Model Approach
-Amaefula C.G
The paper considered the interaction between external debt and Nigeria’s economic growth. The time series data sets cover the period of 1981 to 2018. Applying cointegration test, vector autoregressive (VAR) model and Granger causality, the results revealed that there is no long-run relationship between external debt and economic growth in Nigeria. The estimated VAR model parameters showed that the two variables under study have no significant interaction in the short-run. The result also indicates that there is no Granger causality relationship between the two variables up to the 6th lag. Hence, it becomes expedient for the government to review its policies on external borrowing and servicing so as to enhance economic growth. Read More...

-Nikhil More ; Onkar Gore; Chetan Veer; Varad Ithape; Sourabh Somvanshi
Presently the use of unmanned radio-controlled aircraft has increased because of its wide range of applications. The main motive is to design an aircraft jet F-14 to reduce the weight, induced drag on wings, increase the lift and to run at high speed. To reduce the weight, we have used high density foam for the main wings and balsa for fuselage. The method by which this motive can be achieved is called as sweepback mechanism which converts the subsonic speed to supersonic speed. After thousands of tests and dozens of improvements, we solved the flight stability problem with regards to swept wing flight. In addition to its stunningly realistic appearance, the unique design of the variable-sweep wings, and powerful combat performance is its ability to mount the "Phoenix" missile. Thus, this plane can be used in defence applications and also in wars. Read More...

Lateral Resistance of Footings
-Amritha Varsha T S ; Jayamohan J; Anila Angel
The bearing capacity of foundations has always been one of the subjects of major interest in soil mechanics and foundation engineering. Evaluations of bearing capacity of vertically loaded shallow foundations on various soils have been studied by many researchers. There are structures where horizontal loading has greater influence and much research has not been carried out to evaluate the horizontal load bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This paper investigates the load-settlement behaviour of footings subjected to horizontal loads by carrying out a series of laboratory scale load tests. The parameters varied are Depth of footing, Soil type, Ratio of vertical load to horizontal load etc. It is observed that depth of foundation and vertical load influences the lateral load bearing capacity of footings. It is observed that the lateral deformation decreases with the increase in depth of foundation and vertical load. The tilt of the footing is also found to decrease with depth when the footing is subjected to combined lateral and vertical loading. Read More...

Moment of Resistance of Footing
-Sreedhu P.S. Potty ; Jayamohan J.; Kannan K.
Foundations for overhead catenary systems carrying electrical power in railway networks, transmission towers, and other elevated commercial signs have to be designed mainly to resist large moments and relatively small vertical and horizontal forces. A widely used type of foundation for these structures is the rigid pier. But such foundations are very costly and cannot be adopted for small projects. Soil pressures below shallow foundations and earth retaining structures subjected to moments due to oblique or eccentric loads generally are not uniform. The non-uniformity of the soil pressure tends to tilt the footing. This tilt increases with the increase of load eccentricity, and consequently the bearing capacity is reduced. As a result, the designer enlarges the footing, and that raises the cost of foundation beyond economical values. This paper highlights the work done in the area of moment capacity of foundations, laboratory experimentation. Read More...

Augment Reality in Home Interior
-Roshmi C A ; Minu Mariya Vilson; Reshma Thomas; Sheethal Shaji
Envisioning how a specific object will look in a room before, it is decorated is a difficult challenge for anyone. Everyone wants the house to be functional and stylish, room design needs time and expert methods. There are extensive systems for room and layout design, but most of them require users to drag and drop the furniture models into their room, modify the furniture features or change the camera position around to see their newly designed room by means of the mobile phone or tablets screen. These complications diminish the user satisfaction as well as restrict synchronous collaboration among multiple users. In this work, we propose a system for designing a furniture layout based on the augmented reality technology. Given the room floor plan and target, users are able to physically move their furniture (all the 3D models have it’s own target) around the available space (inside the specific area defined by the user) to design their own ideal room. Finally, we demonstrate that our system cannot only reduce the difficulties of existing room design systems, but also amplify the users satisfaction of room design application. Moreover, we change the position that it will encourage co-design from simultaneous multiple users. Read More...

Aerospace industry is facing a major challenge with structural behavior of the advanced composites. This is because of the inherent complex damage behavior of the composite material. The aircraft with continuous maintenance of structural integrity will have satisfactory performance. Honeycomb Sandwich panel is a widely used composite structure in various application. It is important that honeycomb sandwich panel repairs be made according to the best available techniques because improper repair techniques can pose an immediate or potential danger. The reliability of an aircraft depends on the quality of the design and the workmanship of the repairs. Complication occurs with the design of honeycomb panel as the structure should be as light as possible. Manual fixing of honeycomb sandwich boards take additional time and cost and furthermore some of the time prompts loss of basic respectability because of human mistakes So as to lessen the time and cost of fixing the honeycomb composite structure a robotized framework can be planned. Automated system includes drilling the damaged part without making more damages in panel, cleaning the wastage using the vacuum pump and filling the holes using chemical filler. These processes are controlled by micro controller using drivers. It will be useful in improving repairing techniques of sandwich structures. Read More...

Research on Analysis and Design of Low Volume Roads by using UK-DCP Software
-Pokala Adithya ; K. Sai Kumar Chary
In India, mostly of low volume roads (village and other district roads) are constructing/ rehabilitating with the earlier set design specifications/ standards, which have no concrete design procedures/methods. The existing designs have made without collecting the required data and its analysis. This becomes very true while going for strengthening of the existing pavement (overlay). The Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) is an instrument which can be used for the rapid measurement of the in-situ strength of existing flexible pavements constructed with unbound materials. Measurements can be made down to a depth of 800 mm or to a maximum depth of 1500mm by adding an extension rod. Where the pavement layers have different strengths, the boundaries between them can be identified and the thickness of each layer determined using the software program called UK DCP 3.1. This Project aims to design the overlay for low volume roads by collecting the data through DCP test, and designing of overlay by using UK-DCP software and AASHTO design guidelines. To achieve this, initially it is planned to carry out traffic volume survey (7 days) on the project road and forecasting it to the design life. Thereafter DCP testing will be performed on the project road to collect the DCP penetration data. The collected data will be used to divide and analysis the existing pavement layers for its structural number, CBR values and thicknesses. Homogeneous sectional analysis will be performed with the obtained layer thicknesses, strength and materials properties. With the help of UK-DCP software and AASHTO design methodology, the existing pavement structural number (Ne) will be calculated from filed data and test results. At other end, the required structural number (Nr) for future design traffic will be designed as per AASHTO guidelines. The overlay thickness will arrive from the difference of Nr and Ne, and it will be provided as additional bituminous layers to sustain future traffic. UK-DCP software is also provide BOQ of the project road to the recommended design options for the given unit rates. Read More...

-S.Ramasamy ; T.Janani; P.Keerthana; D.Mohanapriya
Cloud has becoming an emerging and mandatory technology in every field because of its wide applications. Similarly we can access our file from anywhere and at any time without any limitation the only resource we need is internet connectivity. With the developing technology most of data are stored in cloud and the major issue faced here is security. Here patient health record is the data going to be stored and shared in secure way in cloud. Primarily PHR will be uploaded by user in secure way through encryption process with access rights. User who satisfies access policy can download the file in cipher text format. To access the file user should have particular file key and this key will be valid for single time access. Hence the possibility of accessing same file with same key more than one time is impossible. To attain most efficient security RC4 encryption is implemented in our proposed work. Our result shows the proposed work achieves better results compared to other existing system. Read More...

Multi Owner Based Group Sharing with Data Leakage Prevention in Cloud
-R.V.Sudha ; R.Saranya; M.Vaishnavi; V.Vigneshwari
Cloud computing is an emerging technology used to store and share huge volume of data. To ensure data security in cloud cryptographic techniques has been utilized however current encryption algorithms does not enforce privacy concerns over cipher text associated with multiple owners. The issues are co-owners of data do not know whether the data should be disseminated by the disseminator. In our proposed scheme we introduce a system which supports multi owner data sharing in cloud computing in secure manner. Here disseminator can share data to other users when the attributes satisfies the access policy of the encrypted data. To overcome privacy conflicts three policy aggregation strategies are considered such as full permit, owner priority and majority permit. In general, the authorized users can generate some search tokens and send them to the cloud for running the search operation. These search tokens can be used to extract all the cipher texts which are produced at any time and contain the corresponding keyword. Since this may lead to some information leakage, it is more secure to propose a scheme in which the search tokens can only extract the cipher texts generated in a specified time interval. Even an authorized user should decrypt the particular file within that periodic time it should be downloaded otherwise it wont be available for access. The security analysis and experimental results show our scheme is practical and efficient for secure data sharing with multi-owner in cloud computing. Read More...
