Enhanced App Model for the Prevention and Prediction of Malware in Android System
-Smikar Shrikant Parab ; Kalyani Bapurao Pawar; Nikita Narayan Patil
Malware is termed as malicious software, its aim is to cause harm to the mobile devices, server and also computer network by either collapsing the system or leakage of some confidential data. It does the damage when it is some way implanted into the mobile. The effects of the malware is that your mobile becomes unstable, it will continuously get reboot or it may also get crash. To overcome this problem an enhanced app model is designed. This app is efficient enough to detect all sort of malware and prevent the cell phones from getting security breached. To remove this malware, an antivirus is required which has definition of all the malware types but in this app we have used a Droid Fusion framework which is used to classify the malware types and their versions. It also helps to improve the accuracy to predict the malware in the devices and also predicts at what limit it will do harm to the mobile. Data flow API features are extracted to check whether the sensible data leaves out the system. In the previous system the implementation is done using the k-nearest algorithm but in this system we have used an enhanced Quine mccluskey algorithm technique to track and differentiate the malicious data from the normal data. Because k map based technique breakdown in six variables, Quine mccluskey proposed an algorithmic based technique for simplifying Boolean logic functions and basically it has two advantages over the kmap method. Firstly it is systematic for producing a minimal function that is less dependent on visual pattern it is viable scheme for handling large no .of variables. Read More...

Night Vision Security Petroleum Robot using Sound Sensor
-Payal Sunil Suryavanshi ; Kajol Vitthal Sawant; Radhika hanmant Nagane; Prof. A. A. Jadhav
We propose a security robot that uses night vision camera for securing any premises. The robotic vehicle moves for particular intervals and is equipped with night vision camera and sound sensors. It uses a predefined line to follow its own path . If sound is detected it stops at particular points and moves to next points. The system uses PIR based path following system for patrolling assigned area. It monitors each area to detect any intrusion using 360degree rotating camera. It has the ability to monitor sound in the Direction. Any sound after company is closed and it starts moving towards the sound on predefined path. It then scans the area using its camera to detect any human faces detected by the Sensor. It captures and starts transmitting the images of the situation immediately on sound or human face detection to the user. Here we use IOT Local Area Network for receiving transmitted images and displaying them to user with alert sounds. Thus we put forward a fully security robot that operates tirelessly and patrols large areas on its own to secure the facility. Read More...

Making a Game using Unity3D
-Sangram Chauhan ; Vinay Sahu; Aman Rajput; Mehraj Saifee
In todays huge gaming industry action games are nothing new and neither is puzzle games or mazes, these things have been a part of gaming for a long time. But rarely is it that these things are properly meshed together and even if they are, the most they focus on is a single aspect among the three. There are many different examples for this and if you are an avid gamer, a few titles might have even popped up in your head. We are not proposing that these are necessarily bad or should not be a part of gaming as we know it. Now, what we propose is a type or genre of gaming where a learning process is not a gimmick that the game has but rather a core part of what gaming is as a whole. With the game we are making, even though this is our first time developing a game, we are all gamers and would like an experience that is both fun and educational. Our game is a combination of all these and if the future allows it, maybe a lot more. Read More...

Chromium – Molybdenum steels are used mainly in power plants, fertiliser plants and oil refineries at service temperatures up to 704°C. They are distinguished from other low- alloy steels by their remarkable oxidation resistance, resistance to sulphide corrosion and high – temperature strength or creep resistance. These properties are derived from Cr and Mo and they improve with the increase of these alloying elements. There are NINE standard types as shown in Table 1 along with their chemical compositions. It is seen that the Mo content is either around 0.50 or 1.0% according to the Cr content of the steel. The 2.25Cr –1Mo steel has the best thigh temperature strength. They are usually supplied in the annealed or normalised and tempered condition. Read More...

Research Paper on Design and Fabrication of Carbon Soot Collector and Ink Formation
-Omkar Patil ; Kalpesh Patil; Nikhil Mahadik; Bhavesh Mandlik
Every time when fossil fuels burn they release carbon dioxide. Major part of carbon dioxide in atmosphere is taken by the automobile exhaust. In natural way the carbon dioxide is re-absorbed by plants and trees. In current situation peoples are capturing carbon dioxide from exhaust pipes of large industries. But we know that the exhaust releasing from automobiles take part of 40-50% of total carbon dioxide in atmosphere. In India every year around 175 million vehicles get registered, and the number get increased year by year. Carbon soot collection from automobile exhaust does the job of collection carbon soot (in powdered form) from the exhaust outlet of vehicles. In this case truck and buses contribute large amount of carbon dioxide deposition. The carbon soot collector device is fitted at the end of the exhaust pipe, where it is fitted with clamps. After collection of soot from automobiles, this soot is then treated in lab with various chemicals and additives to create ink from soot. With the help of this we can reduce the pollution and reuse that pollution to create a usable ink or paints from it. There are some limitations while designing the collector device and in formation of ink with the application of this technique we have a better achievement point as well. Read More...

Heat Exchanger Analysis through NTU Method for Different Material
-Abhilash Raj ; Akhilesh Kumar Jha; Dharmendra Kumar; Avinash Pandey
A new effectiveness-NTU method is developed for a special type of heat exchangers, in which the fluid of a passage is in simultaneous thermal contact with two separate fluids flowing in the opposite direction. An extensive amount of numerical simulations are carried out by a kerative method for wide ranges of dimensionless parameters such as ratios of capacity rates, NTUs, or a dimensionless inlet temperature. The large body of resulting data are then effectively reduced to a small number of simple equations and graphs by introducing a new effectiveness, c. s is defined as the ratio of actual heat transfer to the maximum heat transfer obtained when the NTUs become very large while the ratio of two NTUs is kept constant. The developed method is readily applicable to the cycle analysis and design, in the same way as the:-NTU method for the usual double-passage heat exchangers. A cross-flow heat exchanger is used in a cooling and ventilation system that requires heat to be transferred from one airstream to another. A cross-flow heat exchanger is made of thin metal panels, normally aluminium. The thermal energy is exchanged via the panels. A traditional cross-flow heat exchanger has a square cross-section. It has a thermal efficiency of 40–65%. A counter-flow or dual cross-flow heat exchanger can be used if greater thermal efficiencies are required – typically up to 75–85 %. In some types of exchanger, humid air may cool down to freezing point, forming ice. A cross-flow is typically less expensive than other types of heat exchanger. It is normally used where hygienic standards require that both airstreams are kept completely separate from one another. It is often used in heat recovery installations in large canteens, hospitals and in the food industry. Unlike a rotary heat exchanger, a cross-flow heat exchanger does not exchange humidity. Design of New Harmonic Filter for Renewable Energy Source: Review
-Ahutosh Kumar Pandey ; Shoab Anshari
Optimal design of passive filter (combination of L, C & R) for grid connected inverter system is studied. For that, initially normal design is considered. Higher order passive filters are essential in meeting the interconnection standard requirement for grid-connected voltage source converters. The IEEE 1547-2008 specifications for high-frequency current ripple are used as a major constraint early in the design to ensure that all subsequent optimizations are still compliant with the standards. The choice of switching frequency for pulse width modulation single-phase inverters, such as those used in grid-connected photovoltaic application, is usually a trade-off between reducing the total harmonic distortion (THD) and reducing the switching loss. The total inductance per unit of the passive filter is varied, and filter parameter (L, C & R) values which give the highest efficiency while simultaneously meeting the stringent standard requirements are identified. Then the conduction and switching losses that are caused by the filter are calculated and are optimized considering the level of reduction of harmonics. Hence the main aim of the study is to attenuate higher order harmonics along with the reduction in switching losses to ensure sinusoidal current injection into the grid. Further, the different switching schemes for single phase full bridge inverter are studied and compared to get the switching scheme which gives lesser switching losses. Proposed filter will be design for optimal inductance and capacitance values are obtained. Stability Analysis of Grid-Connected Inverters with proposed Filter Considering Grid Impedance expected more stable than available work. Simulation will be done on MATLAB SIMULINK environment for feasibility of the study in near future. Read More...

Secure Data Sharing
-Shubhangi Bhalerao ; Mahipal Singh; Parth Joshi; Husain Garbadawala; Neha Parmar
In various distributed systems a user should only be able to access information if a user possess a certain set of credentials or attributes. Recently, the only method for enforcing such policies is to employ a trusted server to store the data and mediate access control. However, if any server storing the information is compromised, then the confidentiality of the data will be compromised. In the paper we present a system for realizing complex access control on encrypted data that we call Cipher text-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE). The user key of encrypted data and make policies were used to describe previous Attribute Based Encryption systems; while in our system these characteristics are used to describe a users credentials, and a party encrypting data determines a policy for who can decrypt the data. In addition, we provide an implementation of our system and give better performance measurements. Read More...

Cost Minimization for Big Data Processing in Geo-Distributed Data Centers
-Soniya Saiffulali Khan ; Tanmay Ramesh Naik; Ajay Dhananjay Temkar; Sameer Harishchandra Mejari; Prof. Madhuri Patil
The explosive growth of demands on big data processing imposes a heavy burden on computation, storage, and communication in data centers, which hence incurs considerable operational expenditure to data center providers. Therefore, cost minimization has become an emergent issue for the upcoming big data era. Different from conventional cloud services, one of the main features of big data services is the tight coupling between data and computation as computation tasks can be conducted only when the corresponding data is available. As a result, three factors, i.e., task assignment, data placement and data movement, deeply influence the operational expenditure of data centers. In this paper, we are motivated to study the cost minimization problem via a joint optimization of these three factors for big data services in geo-distributed data centers. To describe the task completion time with the consideration of both data transmission and computation, we propose a two-dimensional Markov chain and derive the average task completion time in closed-form. Furthermore, we model the problem as a mixed-integer non-linear programming (MINLP) and propose an efficient solution to linearize it. The high efficiency of our proposal is validated by extensive simulation based studies. Read More...

-S. Sakena Benazer ; M. Vidya Shree
This paper presents, an input/output performance of RAID system is increased by a method of partial parity cache (PPC). In PPC the error detection is better than parity cache. The PPC is used to reducing the time taken for estimating the parity bit of a solid-state disk (SSD). SSDs have low complexity, low power consumption and good performance than hard disk drives (HDD). To propose majority logic parity generator architecture in RAID controller. The main objective of this proposed method is to design a low power and low complexity RAID controller for SSD drives and to reduce the parity error rates in RAID controller. To perform read and write operation simultaneously using proposed architecture. This proposed architecture also used to detect and correct the parity errors in SSD. Read More...

Automated Vehicle Parking System
-Saurabh Goel ; Yash Sharma; Gaurav Prajapati
The Automated Vehicle Parking System had been conceived with the view to automate the manual workflows involved in the management of Vehicle Parking Lots. It drastically reduces the effort, inaccuracies, error-prone tendencies, delays and overheads involved in performing the same tasks by hand. It was aimed to provide a fully automated system that was capable of checking in and out of vehicles entering and exiting the designated parking lot, and recording relevant information about them. Revenue calculation and data entry is automated to the largest possible extent. Only minimum intervention from the manual user is required, with a possibility of eliminating it altogether with further advancement in the technology encompassed by the project, and supporting hardware. A rich and easy-to-use GUI aids the user in navigating the system easily and comprehensively. Features such as multiple searching and viewing options further add to the capabilities of the system and thereby also help in reducing the entry time. Transactions concurrency and their unambiguous nature have been carefully balanced and user sessions are purposefully managed. Direct implementation of the printing code helps the entry clerks as well as managers/administrators, to print the parking slips, reports and user information as and when required. With a marked difference in the types of users, and user privileges, the system provides a clear hierarchy and shields private data and administration details from those users, who are not permitted or concerned with them. A lot of data mining options have also been included, in the form of managerial reports. These provide an insight into the daily working subroutines of the system, such as the total revenue collection, employee sign in times, total vehicles parked in the lot, etc. on a Daily, Monthly, or Yearly basis. The most fundamental factor, that sets this system apart from others, is the fact that it is a real life application, designed with a specific target audience of India, taken into consideration. It makes no assumptions about the perfectionist implementation of the system, and also factors in human tendency. For instance, it was considered that the system would automatically allocate a parking slot to each vehicle. However, this was ruled out in view of the fact that human error or misdemeanor may lead to a vehicle owner parking elsewhere, rather than the designated spot, which would lead to utter chaos. Similarly, the revenue rates have been formulated keeping the standard manual parking rates in India in mind. However, these can be changed as per requirement as well. Read More...

Intelligent Mechanical Braking System
-Raviraj Kokil ; Rushikesh Waghamare; Sagar Bhoi; Ajit Khandekar; Vaibhav Dongare
Accident prevention has been one of the main research areas at the moment. Our card is designed to prevent accidents due to loss of control, drunk driving and rash driving, using circuits assisted by a microcontroller kit. In our work, the braking distance and the distance of the obstacle are taken into consideration together with the speed of the vehicle. The sensor helps to find the speed of movement of the vehicle and the ultrasonic sensor detects the distance of the object in the front. Using the sensor, the system will detect the speed of the vehicle and, with the microcontroller, will calculate the distance necessary for the vehicle to stop completely at that speed. The braking motors are incorporated to activate the brakes, thus obtaining automatic braking procedures. The system helps along with the drivers criteria if the driver does not detect the obstacle and applies the brake at the right time, then the microcontroller starts the braking motor to apply the brakes automatically. Our future work is to incorporate the brake shoe wear system in real time to provide an improved function for the intelligent braking system. Considering safety in terms of avoiding accidents in the first place and thus protecting occupants when an accident is inevitable, we can prevent more accidents, save more lives and reduce the costs of insurance and medical expenses for the company. The intelligent braking system approach represents a significant change from the traditional approach to safety, but it is essential to obtain substantial benefits. Read More...

Efficient QoS and Secure Routing In MANET using Cluster based Routing Protocol
-P. Ramya ; P. Seetha Devi
Advance Hybrid Multi-hop routing (AHYMN) mitigates the impact of sink node isolation. It considers a hybrid multi-hop routing architecture. Many wireless applications relatively have high node density and the data collected by individual nodes are highly redundant. Thus, the data aggregation becomes attractive concept in network with mobile nodes. Hierarchical multi-hop routing protocol is formed by combining the Flat multi-hop and hybrid multi-hop routing. Flat multi-hop routing is used, when the distance between source and destination is fixed and the time is more. The hybrid multi-hop routing is used to find the cluster head in zic-zac manner and the distance is unknown and time is also unknown. This method saves the node’s energy and power consumption. Hence, the life time of the network is increased. The simulation result achieves better data transmission in resource constrained MANET. Read More...

Mechanical Biodigester for Kitchen Waste
-Mr Suryawanshi V. S. ; Mr. Shelar Viraj D.; Mr.Wakale Abhilash V.; Miss. Nighute Prajakta R.; Prof. Kabudke P. D.
Organic composting forms the backbone & basic necessity of a poor farmer. The traditional methods are not sufficient & satisfactory for chopping the crop residues. Whereas buying the chemical fertilizer is not possible for every farmer due to its high cost. Organic waste chopping or shredding machine accelerates the process of composting by increasing the surface area of crop residues for aerobic degradation thereby reducing the time to obtain the compost from 4 Months to 3 Months. When the crop residues come through the hopper in the cutting chamber then due to the cutting blades & hammer blades it gets chopped into different sizes depending on the diameter of the sieve used thereby increasing the surface area of residue to decompose early. A portable machine serves for various problems like moving from one place to another, requires less space & is less bulky as compared to the existing bulky machines. It also helps the farmers to start small business thereby making them self-dependent. Machine can be used for various purposes like chopping, to obtain animal fodder, bed for poultry birds, etc. which makes it a multipurpose machine. Design & development of the machine done taking into consideration various literature reviews & needs of farmers. Fabrication with proper dimensions & consideration of required parameters provides for an efficient "Waste Food to Fertilizer Converter". Read More...

The electricity demand in the market is increasing with a tremendous amount. Hence To meet the energy requirement engineers are focusing on Technologies to generate power from Non renewable energy resources with help of new technologies based on Power electronics converters. But the main problem in this method is power on the AC side contains a fluctuating component that changes at a dual base frequency. To mitigate this large electrolytic capacitors have been used. The negative impact are it is not cost effective, Bulky in size. This drawback is eliminated by using two identical film capacitors are employed and connected in series in the DC link, whose midpoint is then connected to another phase leg through a small filtering inductor. It is well known as decoupling of active power decoupling with help of Power electronic Convertors. Read More...

-Nachiket Bholane ; Anuj Bhosale; Mandar Kaudare; Shreedhar Pangudwale; S. S. Panshetty
There are many instances and applications in process industry where the processing of a fluid stream (gas / air) requires its pressure to be reduced. This pressure reduction is usually accomplished through use of a throttling valve. In this method the energy of fluid stream is lost, currently, emphasis is being placed on more effective energy usage in processing industry. As a consequence, areas in which energy is wasted are being closely monitored and methods of energy recovery are being investigated. This calls for developing of effective low pressure recovery systems (pressure 2.5 bar to 6 bar) .Project will deal with modeling and analysis of bladeless turbine with four vane profile mechanism using aluminum casting process. Lateral Analysis of Irregular Geometrical High Rise Structure with Bracings
-Nilesh M. Shinde ; Roshni John
The irregularity in the building structure may be due to irregular distribution in their mass, strength and stiffness along the height of building. When such buildings are constructed in high seismic zones, the analysis and design become more complicated. The primary objective in designing an earthquake resistant structure is to ensure that the building has enough ductility to withstand the earthquake forces. A braced frame is a structural system designed to resist wind and earthquake forces. In this study C shaped irregular structure is considered and the behaviour of different type of bracings with variation in positions on this irregular structure under lateral load is analyzed. Also the effect of lateral load from various directions is considered. The bracing systems are X-braced frames, V braced frames, diagonal braced frames, and eccentric braced frames are studied that which type of bracings are perform under better seismic action comparing with paired structure. Response spectra analyses were performed. The structural responses of frames are studied in terms of time period, storey drift, and storey shear and storey displacement. The result showed a good improvement in lateral resistance of frames with incorporation of bracing. The result reveal that X bracings is efficient to resist lateral load compared with other type of bracings. Read More...
