Mobile Data Securely Accessed by SMS from Remote Location using Android
-Aatesh Kshirsagar ; Soumya Kanchi; Onkar Dalvi; Monica Kondhalkar; Prof. Manivannan
Mobile technology is widely used in all classes of society. It is the most effective way of communication. Mobile phone use to send and receive text message, with wide area, high reliability, high popularity, easy development, low expenditure and other characteristics using Short Message service (SMS) technology. Using GSM module or network platform of short message, messages can be sent and received
between the computer and the mobile terminal. Since the dependency has increased largely, it becomes difficult to live without it. The application intends to address this problem by retrieving data from mobile handset though it is not physically available with the user. The system can also be programmed to send specific SMS to redetermined number if any event or condition triggered. If your mobile phone is not available at the moment and you need to call a person urgently whose contact number is not available at that instant and also their email-id, unread SMS and missed calls from your phone. To get that specific details .you have to go through very tedious process of calling home or where you’re mobile are left and get that details etc. The proposed system project helps to simplify this problem. One has to send an SMS to his/her own mobile with the contact name and automatically the contact will be returned to the same number.

Fuel Management System (FMS) requires designing, implementation and characterization of a hardware and software for vehicles. The primary design goal is to devise a system capable of monitoring the fuel level in real time. This system is based on hardware as well as software. The hardware part consists of fuel level circuits, on-board Raspberry-Pi, GSM and GPS modules. This system offers an Automatic Electronic System (AES) which replaces manual monitoring of fuel. This system measures fuel volume and sends measured volume to the owner’s mobile as well as owner’s computer through GSM network. Through which it can be read anytime and anywhere with the web application. From the web application the user will come to know about their car efficiency, mainly how the fuel is being consumed at various factors like increase in speed, worst road conditions, engine getting heat after long time, frequent change of gear, during traffic, not having proper maintenance, also due to some bad petrol/diesel/oil in which the fuel is consumed more and it will give less mileage. It also provides a technique for detecting theft or fraud incidents in case of fuel theft or fuel leakage. Additionally the system can track the location of each vehicle in order to locate the place of any incident of theft or leakage that could have occurred. Read More...

Criminal Data Retrial System (CDRS) through Image Processing
-Prof. V. S Ware ; Pawar Ruchita Prashant; Mulla Tanveer Sultana A. Karim; Sachdev Jayshri Chandralal; Randive Amol Bahubali
Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) is a significant and increasingly popular approach that helps in the retrieval of image data from a huge collection. Image representation based on certain features helps in retrieval process. Three important visual features of an image include Color, Texture and Shape. We propose an efficient image retrieval technique which uses dynamic dominant color, texture and shape features of an image. We will encrypt content data (Color, Texture and Shape) in the hash algorithm is secure enough for critical purposes whether it is MD5 or SHA-1.This hashing algorithm used for only encryption this content cannot be decrypted. That is the image content data cannot be leaked or hacked. In this project of ours we aim to create an application that is helpful the police department to identify criminals and store and retrieve their criminal record data conveniently. This is called Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR). Image retrieval with multiple features also known as Query by Image Content (QBIC) and the visual information is the application of computer vision to the image retrieval problem, that is, the problem of searching for digital images in large databases. "Image retrieval" means that the search will analyze the actual contents of the image. The term content in this context might refer colors, shapes, textures, or any other information that can be derived from the image itself. Without the ability to examine image content, searches must rely on metadata such as captions or keywords. Such metadata must be generated by a human and stored alongside each image in the database. Problems with traditional methods of image indexing have led to the rise of interest in techniques for retrieving images on the basis of automatically-derived features such as color, texture and shape – a technology now generally referred to as Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR). However, the technology still lacks maturity, and is not yet being used on a significant scale. In the absence of hard evidence on the effectiveness of CBIR techniques in practice, opinion is still sharply divided about their usefulness in handling real-life queries in large and diverse image collections. Risk Assessment, Hazard Analysis, and Use of Personal Protective Equipment among Small Scale Welders in Industry and City
-Pravin Tathod ; Nisha Kushwaha
Manufacturing activity because of the very nature of the operation, complexity of the systems, procedures and methods always involves some amount of risk and hazards. Hazard identification and risk analysis is carried for identification of undesirable events that can leads to a hazard, the analysis of hazard mechanism by which this undesirable event could occur and usually the estimation of extent, magnitude and likelihood of harmful effects. It is widely accepted within industry in general that the various techniques of risk assessment contribute greatly toward improvements in the safety of complex operations and equipment. For instance, there is limited information on use of personal protective equipment or work related health problems within this occupational group. Little information is published concerning welders in India, although the number of welders is increasing, especially in small scale enterprises. Thus, the study aimed to gather information about occupational hazards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among small scale welders. Acute health effects experienced by the welders were also explored as well as the welders’ awareness regarding occupational hazards and use of PPE. This was a cross sectional study of 100 small scale welders conducted after taking the knowledge from base of CASE Construction. A pretested structured interview guide and checklist was used to collect data on demographic characteristics, work experience and occupational hazards, awareness of PPE and hazards, use of PPE and acute health effects experienced. Descriptive statistics were used in the analyses of data, and tests were used for comparing study variables and a generalized linear model with a log link function was used to derive relative risks. A Comparative Study-Dehazing Method Based on Homomorphic Filtering and Linear Transformation
-Neeta Joy ; Jyothi Johnson
Images captured via camera in the bad weather conditions like hazy or foggy ones would result in degradation of images. This is mainly due to the scattering of atmospheric light. This could lead to the deterioration of the image due to the scattering of atmospheric particles and due to the presence of haze. In this paper, a comparison between two algorithms is made, one is a fast algorithm for single image dehazing is proposed using the homomorphic filtering and the other is a single image dehazing using the linear transformation. In these both techniques, firstly, to accurately measure the atmospheric light an additional channel method is proposed based on quad-tree sub-division. After finding the atmospheric light portion in the input image filtering is being applied. For both the techniques, filtering is being applied, in which homomorphic filter is used in one and in the other minimum filtering is being used and then gaussian blurring. At last the haze-free image is obtained as the result of atmospheric scattering model. Number of both subjective and objective evaluations are being done with the aid of experiments which shows that this algorithm can clearly and naturally recover the image, with at most clarity at the edges where there is sudden changes in the depth of field. Here the algorithmic time complexity is the linear function of the image size. This has advantages in the running time my maintaining balance between the running time and processing. Read More...

-Mr. Chandrahas Bhimrao Patil ; Ms. Bhagyashri S. Anbhule; Ms. Ankita S. Waidande; Ms. Ankita N. Madane; Ms. Tejal M. Jangam
The cement industry is the major contributor of CO2 emission, which could be curtailed by the use of supplementary cementitious materials. Fly ash, one of the supplementary cementitious materials, exhibits high pozzolanic characteristics when properly produced under controlled conditions. In this paper, three concrete mixtures were considered to identify the effect of fly ash (produced under controlled conditions) on performance characteristics of the concrete. Fly ash was added as partial replacement of ordinary portland cement for 20%. The properties investigated include compressive strength of blended concrete. Based on the results, it was found that fly ash addition up to 20% in partial replacement of ordinary portland cement lead to increased compressive strength of concrete compared with that of reference mixtures. This paper reports an experimental study on recycled plastic concrete (RPC) that uses recycled acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene/polycarbonate copolymer (ABS/PC) plastic particles to replace 5%, 10%, 15% (in volume) of fine aggregate sand. The results showed that the compressive strength of RPC was higher than that of normal concrete by 12.47% and increased with the plastic content. The impact resistance performance of RPC materials was superior to that of normal concrete. Read More...

Nowadays, we mostly hear the word new Technology. This word advancing the old technologies along with some extra features. This growing towards new discoveries and inventions in the field of science and technology but unfortunately, there are very fewer innovations for physically challenged people. Who face difficulties in communicating with normal people. As Disable people use sign language as their Prime medium for communication. Mostly, sign languages are not understood by the common people. Research says that many studies have been done to eliminate such kind of communication barrier. And so, many research works have been proposed to remove this communication gap between normal people and physically impaired people. So, In this Paper, we are introducing one idea which will remove the complexity in earlier proposed methods such as, Microcontrollers, Aurdino, flex sensor based hand gloves. We are advancing this process in our study by using a Kinect sensor. Kinect is a motion sensing input devices produced by Microsoft. Many applications out of which motion sensing and 3-D image processing is the main requirement for our work to detect the signs, gestures, and movements of hands or bodies. Our work starts from capturing an image of the body to convert into the skeletal image and from image processing to feature extraction of the detected image hence getting an output along with voice. The experimental results of our Presented algorithm are also very good with an accuracy of 90%. Read More...

Product Recommendation using Neural Network based Opinion Mining Framework
-Raheesa KK ; Vijesh K
The opinion mining models are applied to extract customer interest on the products. The product recommendation applications are built to analyze the product reviews submitted by the customers. Product reviews are valuable for upcoming buyers in helping them make decisions. To this end, different opinion mining techniques are applied judging a review sentence’s orientation is one of their key challenges. The deep learning has emerged as an effective means for solving sentiment classification problems. A neural network intrinsically learns a useful representation automatically without human efforts. The success of deep learning highly relies on the availability of large-scale training data. The deep learning framework is constructed for product review sentiment classification which employs prevalently available ratings as weak supervision signals. The framework consists of two steps: learning a high level representation captures the general sentiment distribution of sentences through rating information and adding a classification layer on top of the embedding layer and use labeled sentences for supervised fine-tuning. Two kinds of low level network structure are explored for modeling review sentences, namely, convolution feature extractors and long short-term memory. The recommendation process increases the accuracy level with minimum computational overhead. Read More...

Identification of Constraints in Construction Projects to Improve Performance
-Tanaya Shinde ; Divyanshu Sachidanand; Nikhil Sachdev
Requirements and constraints in a Joint Venture situation bring complications in project management. Requirements are broadened and varied when the client is a large organization such as a public client or a corporate client. However, in construction project constraints, limit the achievement of high performance. The goal of this paper is to identify the constraints in construction project working environment and apply the theory of constraints (TOC), which provide guidance for taking decisions where constraints exit. With the aim of achieving high performance it is necessary to better understand the constraints of the project. In current scenario, client requirements are discussed well but constraints are not much understood yet. Here we have categorised constraints into five viz:
1) Economical
2) Legal
3) Environmental
4) Technical
5) Social
Here we suggest that, for achieving high level performance in a project, we suggest to develop awareness in managing and controlling the working environment of the construction project in the context of constraints.

BFO Based Control of Multiterminal VSC-HVDC for Voltage Deviation
-Thiriburasundari .V ; Shanmugalakshmi R
Multi-Terminal High-Voltage Direct Current (MTDC) transmission system has become an auxillary for transmitting power especially over long distances. .In AC grids, frequency are a global variable and for MTDC systems, DC voltage can be considered as it’s dual. Unlike frequency, DC voltage cannot be equal across the MTDC system. The Control of DC voltage in MTDC systems is one of the important challenges. The dynamic of MTDC system is very fast, DC voltage control methods cannot rely only on remote information. Therefore, they can work based on either local information or a combination of local and remote information. The BFO algorithm is used to maintain the constant DC voltage operation during load switchings, step changes in power demand and also provides secured power to passive loads during loss of a DC voltage by regulating VSC-HVDC terminal without the use of communication. In this paper, the BFO algorithm along with Voltage Droop Method (VDM) is implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK and it used to maintain the electromechanical stability of Multi-Terminal VSC-HVDC system. Experimental Study on Effect of Partial Replacement of Coarse Aggregate by over Burnt Brick Bats
-Bidve Ganesh Shivkanth ; Prof. G. N. Shete
Concrete is considered the world’s most used construction material. Typical concrete mixtures are comprised of water, sand, cement and an aggregate of rock. This project focuses on the coarse aggregate in concrete. The other material will be used to replace the coarse aggregate of rock in typical concrete. This will include burn brick. This material was chosen because of their availability. The burn brick is available from brick manufacturing area. Also in brick-making, a large number of bricks are rejected due to non-conformity with the required specifications. One such major nonconformity is the distorted form of brick produced due to the uneven temperature control in the kiln. These rejected bricks can also be a potential source of coarse aggregate. This would not only make good use of the otherwise waste material but would also help alleviate disposal problems. This project presents the effects of over burnt brick bat inclusion on the mechanical properties of concrete matrix in wet and hardened state properties. For checking mechanical properties of over burnt brick bat based concrete used partially replacement over burnt brick bat to coarse aggregate. Read More...
