Development of Light Weight Material as Filler Element for High Rise Building using ETABS Software
-Anita Mishra ; Nitesh Kushwah
Solid structures are inclined to tremor because of mass of the structures. Essential utilization of auxiliary lightweight cement (SLWC) is to lessen the dead heap of a solid structure, which enables the basic creator to diminish the size of the basic individuals like bar, segment, and footings which results in decrease of seismic tremor powers on the structure. This examination is an endeavor to foresee the seismic reaction of a ten-celebrated fortified solid edge with the utilization of lightweight cement. A well-planned ten story model is taken for study. The structure is displayed with ETABS programming, and examination is done with typical weight and lightweight cement. The principle intention of our investigation is to dole out a light weight concrete in an elevated structure, where we can check its positive and negative impact on the soundness of the structure. Additionally to legitimize the auxiliary cost decrease because of usage of light weight material. Read More...

Decentralization of 5G Wireless Network
-Abhishek Pandey ; Anuj Sharma; V. Sathya
The new feature of 5G wireless network system yield new security requirement and challenges. 5G is a name used in some research papers and projects to denote the next major phase of mobile telecommunications standards beyond the upcoming 4G standards. Like any new network technology, 5G is raising security concerns. "Without enterprise ownership of these devices, the ability to get visibility and control of them becomes much more limited and, subsequently, increases the organization’s risk exposure to threats such as malware, shadow IT, mobile phishing and man-in-the-middle attacks." Security will always be problematic, "Making your corporate data open to the outside world has inherent risks". We are working on decentralization of 5G wireless network technology. We observed that 5G is "extremely early in its lifecycle" and "is arguably more hype than reality." Read More...

An Overview of Chatter Detection in Band Saw Machine and Development of Blade Guide
-Parvej N. Fakir ; Prof. P. N. Gore
Band sawing is the efficient methods for which in general it is known that uneven tool wear, chatter and cutting blade defects can affect cutting performance significantly. Tool damage due to chatter poses harmful economic impact in modern machining production therefore it is important to avoid or suppress chatter during the production process. In order to establish automated chatter-free cutting conditions, the methods for online recognition of chatter and chatter-free cutting should be developed. Machine manufacturers have developed damping devices while saw blade producers focus on varied-pitch saw blades and unique tooth design as a way of helping to reduce band saw vibration. These attempts have resulted in successful increase in blade life and cutting rates, but the band saw machine vibration issue remains. By considering all above facts, this paper tries to cover literature which deals with Chatter detection in band saw machine and development of blade guide. Read More...

Physical and Mechanical Properties of Short Sisal Fiber Filled Epoxy Composites
-Shahnawaz Ahmad ; Sunil Sukla
The present work aims at developing a class of polymer composites consisting of thermoset polymer i.e. epoxy as a matrix material with natural fiber i.e. sisal fiber as a reinforcing material. The sisal fiber used in present work are in short form i.e. dimension of around 4 mm. A set of composite with varying fiber loading has been fabricated by simple hand lay-up technique. The effect of fiber content on physical and mechanical properties of such fabricated samples are investigated and presented in this work. The various property evaluated are density, void content, tensile strength, compressive strength and flexural strength of the fabricated samples. The values obtained under controlled laboratory conditions are analyzed to identify its behavior. From the experimental results, it is found that density of the composite decreases with increase in filler content. However, voids are increases when fiber content in epoxy matrix increases. Further, short inclusion in epoxy matrix increases the flexural and compressive strength of the composite. Against that, decreasing trend is obtained when tensile strength of the fabricated samples was analyzed. Read More...

Black Hole Attack Minimization using Leach Protocol
-S. Rajesh ; Dr. A. N. Jayanthi
In MANET, Guaranteed routing is one of the most emerging areas of research. Scheming protocol for ad hoc routing is a difficult task due to the unique in lack of fundamental authorization, node mobility, prevailing changes in topology, and limited availability of resources. MANETs are appropriate for emergency situations like Natural disasters or Military applications. Thus data transfer between two nodes must require security from black-hole attack in the MANET which is a malicious nodes that attracts the data packets by falsely advertising a fresh route to the destination. LEACH routing protocol is used for the detection and prevention of black-hole attack in MANETs has been proposed. It observe the singular difference between the number of data packets received and forwarded by the node. If abnormal condition is detected, all the nodes will obscure the malicious nodes from the network. The analysis of the system performance has been improved in terms of Packet Delivery Ratio, Detection Rate (DR) and Throughput and simulation results obtained using ns2 simulator. Read More...

Optimization of Energy Consumption Based Cluster-Head Selection in WSN for IOT Application
-M. Susmitha ; S.Maheshwaran
Wireless sensor networks (WSN) groups specialized transducers that provide sensing services to Internet of Things (IOT) devices with limited energy and storage resources. Since replacement or recharging of batteries in sensor nodes is almost impossible, power consumption becomes one of the crucial design issues in WSN. Clustering algorithm plays an important role in power conservation for the energy constrained network. Choosing a cluster head can appropriately balance the load in the network thereby reducing energy consumption and enhancing lifetime. The paper focuses on an efficient cluster head election scheme that rotates the cluster head position among the nodes with higher energy level as compared to other. Presence of selfish nodes is a very big problem in Wireless Networks. A selfish node doesn't forward packets and utilize to its own profit but it is hesitating using personal resources for others. If such activities occurs within most of the nodes in the network, the network is interrupted. Selfish behaviour detection is an essential condition in wireless networks. In our project we have described an efficient method for detection and punishment of a selfish node. Here we proposed a new framework is degree of intrinsic selfishness and the degree of extrinsic selfishness. Under the distributed node-selfishness management, a path selection criterion is designed to select the most reliable and shortest path in terms of RNs'. Degree of intrinsic selfishness nodes affected by their available resources, and the optimal reasons are determined by the source to stimulate forwarding multiservice of the RNs in the selected path. The algorithm considers initial energy, residual energy and an optimum value of cluster heads to elect the next group of cluster heads for the network that suits for IOT applications such as environmental monitoring, smart cities, and systems. Simulation analysis shows the modified version performs better than the LEACH protocol by enhancing the throughput by 60%, lifetime by 66%, and residual energy by 64%. Read More...

Experimental Analysis of Single Cell Box Girder in a Metro Bridge under Various Radius of Curvature
-Md. Iqubal Ahmad ; Prof. Kamni Laheriya; Prof. Kamlesh Saha
For the purpose of the parametric study, the five box girder bridges are modelled in SAP2000. The span length, cross-section and material property remains unchanged. The only parameter that changes is the radius of curvature. The cross section of the superstructure of the box girder bridge consists of single cell box. The curvature of the bridges varies only in horizontal direction. All the models are subjected to self-weight and moving load of IRC class a tracked vehicle. A static analysis for dead load and moving load, and a modal analysis are performed. The longitudinal stress at top and bottom of cross sections, bending moment, torsion, deflection and fundamental frequency are recorded. The responses of a box girder bridge curved in plan are compared with that of a straight bridge. The ratio of responses is expressed in terms of a parameter. From the responses it is found that; the parameters like torsion, bending moment, and deflection is increasing as curvature of the bridges increase. For the purpose of the parametric study, five box girder bridge models with constant span length and varying curvature. In order to validate the finite element modeling method, an example of box Girder Bridge is selected from literature to conduct a validation study. The example box girder is modelled and analysed in SAP 2000 and the responses are found to be fairly matching with the results reported in literature. Read More...

Analysis of Piers and Box Girder in an Elevated Metro Bridge in Running Project
-Aamir Khan ; Prof. Kamni Laheriya; Prof. Kamlesh Saha
Conventionally the pier of a metro bridge is designed using a force based approach. During a seismic loading, the behavior of a single pier elevated bridge relies mostly on the ductility and the displacement capacity. It is important to check the ductility of such single piers. Force based methods do not explicitly check the displacement capacity during the design. The codes are now moving towards a performance-based (displacement-based) design approach, which consider the design as per the target performances at the design stage. Performance of a pier designed by a Direct Displacement Based Design is compared with that of a force-based designed one. The design of the pier is done by both force based seismic design method and direct displacement based seismic design method in the first part of the study. In the second part, a parametric study on behavior of box girder bridges is carried out by using finite element method. The parameters considered to present the behavior of Single Cell Box Girder, Double Cell Box Girder and Triple Cell Box Girder bridges are radius of curvature, span length and span length to the radius of curvature ratio. These parameters are used to evaluate the responses of box girder bridges namely, longitudinal stresses at the top and bottom, shear, torsion, moment, deflection and fundamental frequency of three types of box girder bridges. Green & Smart Bin with Compactor and Waste Management: A Review
-Aashutosh Kumar ; Ravi Kushwaha; Satish Chand Kushwaha; Yogesh Kumar Yadav
Paper and plastics are the major source of waste in commercial areas or inside industries. Because of low weight and large volume, it inhabits a large space of waste bin which is a reason to fill the bin earlier than it should be. It causes money and time wastage as well as pollution. It impacts the healthy environment of cities in the form of air pollution due to the large movement of the garbage collecting vehicles. In this paper, we proposed a plan to solve this problem by creating a smart bin by following the green technology (Solar power source). With the help of different sensors (ex. Level sensor, fire sensor, touch sensor, etc.), compactor and Infrared (IR) wireless connectivity with the control room. We will create a chain system of waste transportation. In the whole process, we will ensure the participation of citizens. The level sensor will detect the level of waste inside the bin. When a certain level of bin achieved then the compactor will activate and compress it to the possible depth. By this process, it increases the space (up to 70 percent) inside the bin so transportation activity decreases in the area which causes to decreases the pollution level. As India is ready to welcome the modern smart cities so it will play a vital role in solid waste management. Read More...

Eye Ball Control Stair Climbing, Gas Detection Fire Extinguisher Bot with BCI and IOT
-Tumula Mani Kota Rajasekhar ; Tumula Mani Harsha
Now a days, fire accidents can be observed everywhere around us. Sometimes it even leads to disasters. Especially construction sites and fire-crackers manufacturing places and shops are more prone to these type of fire accidents. Human involvement in these types of places even leads to loss of lives. In this paper we are going to discuss about a robot which is multi-functional and had a multi-control (can be controlled in many ways). This robot can be controlled using eye-ball movement and even with BCI (brain computer interface) and even with smart phone using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It can be used in nights as a watcher bot in construction sites and fire crackers shops, which continuously monitors all the information around it and upload it to a website using IOT. This robot can climb the stairs using “triple wheel architectureâ€. This robot can detect LPG and smoke, using sensors attached to it and continuously uploads the information to a required website or controllers’ phone. If any gas leakages or smoke was found around it, it immediately alerts the persons by raising alarm or by sending a message to the controllers’ phone. By using a personalized application, we can control the bot using hand gestures and can see the gas readings around robot, by which we can assume the danger and react accordingly. The additional feature of this robot is, it had a launcher by which it can launch fire extinguisher pellets, which releases CO2 when touched to ground. This feature helps in reducing loss in fire cracker shops as water is not used here. The live telecast can be given using the personalized application, by which the person controlling the bot can sense the surroundings, and fire or launch the extinguisher pellets. The extinguisher pellets used here are completely non-dangerous and can even put off the fire in less than 2 minutes. It can be employed in construction sites and cracker shops which reduces the life threat to humans. Read More...

Review Paper on Microstrip Antenna Integrated with TVS EBG Structure to Reduce Mutual Coupling
-Mr. Sagar S Gandhi ; Prof. P S Malge
In this paper, we are presenting review on several electromagnetic bandgap structures to reduce the mutual coupling of a microstrip patch antenna array. If two microstrip antenna patches are near to each other then they interchange the energy. This interchange of energy is known as "mutual coupling," and due to this mutual coupling the analysis and design of an antenna becomes complicated [1]. The TVS-EBG structure consists of two lines of Two via Slots which is inserted to reduce mutual coupling between closely spaced patches of a 2 x 1 patch array antenna. As reported in [2], due to the insertion of TVS-EBG structure the equivalent value of capacitance and inductance getting increased. The structure has single ground plane and it is consequently low cost and simple to fabricate. Read More...

-Naveed Aslam ; Er. Shivani Bhardwaj; Er. Sourab Lalotra
In this study, the natural aggregates are replaced by recycled aggregates with replacement ratio of 0%, 25%, 50% and 100% and cement is replaced by marble powder with replacement ratio of 0%,10% and 20%. Twelve different mixes are used in the present study with varying replacement percentage of recycled aggregates and marble powder. The different mixes are studied for mechanical and workability properties of M35 concrete. Concrete mixes with 25% recycled aggregates and 10% marble powder replacement gives mechanical strength almost equals to normal mix. The piston is a heart of the engine and its working condition is the most exceedingly bad one of the key parts of the engine in the workplace. A piston is a segment of responding piston, responding pumps, gas compressors and pneumatic chambers, among other comparative systems. It is the moving part that is contained by a barrel and is made gas-tight by piston rings. In a piston, its motivation is to exchange force from growing gas in the barrel to the crankshaft through a piston bar and additionally associating pole connecting rod.
In this study, firstly, thermal analyses are investigated on a piston, made of Cast Aluminium alloy and titanium alloy. Then, structural analyses are performed on piston of titanium alloy & Aluminium alloy material by means of using ANSYS workbench. The effects of thermal behaviours of the pistons are investigated. The main objective is to investigate and analyse the thermal stress distribution of piston at the real engine condition during combustion process. This work advancement by utilizing finite element analysis to anticipate the higher stressand critical area are on the component. In order to find the displacement, thermal and stress appropriation of the piston, ANASYS software is utilized to analyse the piston under the thermal loads and mechanical loads. The outcomes are demonstrated that the temperature conveyance happens on the top point of the piston when the piston under the thermal load and the best stress happens on the piston stick when the piston under the heat structure coupling.
