A novel PTS architecture for PAPR reduction of OFDM signals And UF OFDM
-Ankita Maheshwari ; Pankaj Rathi
In this proposed system a precoding-based PAPR reduction technique is proposed for both the UF-OFDM and the F-OFDM cases. In this system we are using the Zadoff Chu Transform for the precoding process. The input bit stream is first modulated by QAM modulation and then the precoding technique is performed. For UF-OFDM, after that the inverse discrete Fourier transform is performed on the data streams and then the filtering is applied. For the filtering operation Chebyshev filter is performed and then the data are send through the channel. Finally the performance of the proposed system is evaluated and compared with the existing system and it shows the better results Simulation results have shown that the decrement of PAPR. The out of band radiation of proposed scheme is less than original OFDM as shown in power spectral density (PSD) simulation result. All this simulation has been carried out in MATLAB simulation. Approaches in RSA Cryptosystem Using Artificial Neural Network
-Megha Sharma ; Pankaj Rathi
Cryptography is a technique to make information unreadable for unauthorized users. Today, building a secure channel is one of the most challenging areas for research in communication systems. Many forms of public key cryptography are available, but it requires more complex techniques and needs more computational power. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and cryptography together can make a great help in field of networks security. Neural networks’ most important property is their generalization capability. This ability ensures they produce reasonable results when they are fed with inputs not previously encountered. This makes them extremely useful for many applications. The other important property of ANNs is parallel implementation. Each layer is paralleled, so they can independently implement certain functionality. A special property of neural networks is confusion, which is caused by the non-linear structure of networks. The output, therefore, depends on the input in non-linear and complicated cases. Thus, it is not easy to define the exact input. As a result of this confusion property, ANNs could be preferable used for cipher design. Read More...

-Pragya Soni ; Kamlesh Patidar
Outliers are suspicious values because they are smaller or larger than the given values. The detection of outliers is important task in interest of data mining that realization that outliers as the key discovery from very large databases. Outlier’s detection is important because of various reasons such as human faults, system error or instrument error etc. Outlier detection techniques are divided into two categories: supervised and unsupervised. Supervised technique assumes the availability of training data set for normal as well as anomaly. Unsupervised technique does not require training data. This approach takes as input a set of data and finds outlier within the data. Sometimes good outliers give useful information for the discovery of new knowledge. Bad outliers are noisy data point. In this paper we propose a novel approach for outlier analysis along with review of some existing outlier detection techniques. In this paper we used some statistical properties to find out outlier. We also find that what the effects are when we consider analysis of data with outlier and without outliers. In this paper we proposed a novel approach in which we used some mathematical relationship between data after deleting the outliers. Read More...

Improvement of Hybrid Technique of Data Security
-Shishupal Sidar ; Gourav Chandel; Deepak Garg
At the present times, somewhere the lot seems like it should be digitized, danger to the security of data is at the peak level. Data is careful as an important strength then is essential to be secure. Data Security contains data, authenticity, integrity, and confidentiality besides considerable more. In the face of some approaches toward data security like encryption, compression, steganography, the data is static and likely to have prospective safety threats. The chief motive acknowledged is the shortcomings of these separate techniques at what time sure factors are occupied addicted to account. Cryptography certifies security then it also produces suspicion just before data as the data is transformed into worthless form. Compression techniques protect and encrypt data space on disk so compressed records can without difficulty to uncompress through attackers. Steganography is a method which is used to hide information rather than encrypting this one also has its advantages and limitations. In this paper, we tried to focus on devising an organization which not alone make available multilayer information security but then again also tends to cross those techniques after Encryption, compression and steganography that forms a safety system actually hard to break but at the similar period keeping computational speed as fast as imaginable keeping in mind the plainness of the approaches selected. For completing this assignment, approaches aimed at security of data (Encryption, Compression, and Steganography) and their possible merits and drawbacks remained assessed in point. Data security differentiation of these techniques will be there planned successfully. Read More...

Reactive Power Compensation and Harmonic Filter using SAPF in MATLAB
-Harpreet Kaur ; Akshay Kumar; Sumeet; Vishal Singh; Aryan
This project work presents a shunt active power filter method for harmonic filtration and reactive power compensation. Due to wide use of non-linear single phase power electronic devices in low voltage side has increased harmonic pollution in the power system to the larger extent. The presence of harmonics in electrical systems means that current and voltage are distorted and deviate from sinusoidal waveforms which can cause many different problems in the electrical system and sometimes also leads to the faults in the system. Reactive power makes the generation and distribution of electrical power very inefficient so this is very important to neglect harmonics and reactive power from the system. Improving power quality has become the biggest challenge for electrical engineers. A shunt active power filter was modeled in MATLAB/SIMULINK to reduce harmonics and reactive power. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate performance of shunt active power filter during presence of non-linear load. Read More...

Study on Effect of Various Mineral Admixtures on Self Compacting Concrete
-Purushottam Goutam
Self- Compacting Concrete (SCC) is a special type of concrete that can flow and compact under its own weight and can occupy all the spaces without any vibration, and at the same time cohesive enough to be handled without bleeding or segregation. The required compaction properties are achieved by adding super-plasticizers and mineral admixtures such as fly ash, rice husk ash, silica fume, etc. The utilization of these treated industrial by-products as cement replacement will not only help to achieve an economical SCC mix, but it is envisaged that it may improve the microstructure and consequently durability of concrete. This provides solution to disposal problems and other environmental pollution issues created by these otherwise waste products. Silica-fume, rice husk ash and fly ash is more effective to produce the high strength performance concrete. Mechanical behavior of SCC has been studied by performing tests on 78 hardened concrete specimens with different variables i.e. partial replacement of cement with FA, RHA and SF (0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%), concrete aged (7 days & 28 days) and water to binder ratio 0.40. Fresh concrete properties have been measured by V-funnel flow time, and slump flow diameter tests. Mechanical properties have been determined in terms of compressive strength. Silica-fume enriches the workability of SCC. This paper presents the results of an experimental study aimed at producing SCC mixes of M30 grade by using the Modified Nan Su method, incorporating three mineral admixtures, viz., Fly Ash, Silica Fumes and Rice Husk Ash as supplementary cementing materials. An Experimental Investigation on Concrete by Partial Replacement of Cement with Animal Bone Powder and Coarse Aggregate with Sea Shell
-Shashikant Umakant Gudale ; Prof. Gundappa N Shete
The most commonly used material in construction industry is Concrete. Now a days the use of concrete for modern infrastructure is in high demand. Cement is the main constituent of concrete plays a vital role in concrete production. In India, the cement consumption has grown well with a growth rate of about 6.1% every year (annually). Hence, an alternative material to partially replace cement was initiated to complete the needs of local community. Animal bone powder which has same chemical composition same as of cement can be replaced with cement. Due to continuous utilization of natural materials like coarse aggregate and fine aggregates for making concrete we are facing different problems like lack of availability of these materials, because of their high demand and I some areas restriction from the local government for the extraction of the natural materials. Due to this the price of natural materials are increasing rapidly, due to high price of natural materials ultimately the cost of construction is high. To overcome this problem many researchers are finding the replacement for cement and coarse aggregate. Through the various study it is found that waste materials from sea like sea shells having properties similar to coarse aggregate can be used in production of concrete. we bought sea shells at very cheap price from coastal area. Here coarse aggregate is partially replaced to sea shell in percentage to coarseaggregateby10 %. Similarly the replacement for cement is made by the animal bone powder. The waste quantity of animal bones has impacted the environment which are unusual to see all over the world. The primary aim of the research is to investigate the effects of varying dosage replacement of cement by animal bone powder (ABP) in the normal concrete production. The bone samples collected from M.I. Industries Thane Mumbai, we found that After cleaning and drying, the bone samples burned in the Furnace. The average required energy to burn the animal bone obtained at a temperature of 340°C. The burnt bone was allowed to cool before grinding in a hammer mill and sieving. There were four proportions prepared to start from 0% (as control specimen), 5%, 10%, 15% dosage increment by weight of bone powder, and evaluated the normal concrete strengths of M-30 grade concrete. The laboratory test results indicated the chemical analyses of bone powder composed similar compounds of oxide in cement but slightly lesser in content. Likewise, the effects of replacing animal bone on the properties of cement such as consistency and setting time remained within the acceptable limits of the Standard Specifications. As we know the lack of natural materials hence we can use these two materials as partial replacement of coarse aggregate and cement ,hence we form a new concrete On the other hand, the results of compressive strength, flexural strength, and the tensile strengths significantly declined from the control specimen during the dosage increment of the replacement made. Therefore, the optimum dosage of bone powder indicated 10% by weight to replace cement content in normal concrete mix production. Read More...

Curing is the process of wetting concrete in order to get required strength and durability in concrete. However, satisfactory curing is not possible at everywhere. Therefore, Self curing method was adopted in order to complete water demand of concrete and many researchers attracted to work on self curing agents such as Lightweight Aggregate (LWA) (natural and synthetic, expanded shale), Super-absorbent Polymers (SAP), and shrinkage reducing agent i.e., PEG (polyethylene glycol), polyvinyl alcohol, Paraffin Wax, Acrylic acid. The object of this research was to investigate the effect polyethylene glycol peg-400 as self curing agent. In order to check the effect of Polyethylene Glycol PEG-400 on concrete, a mix of 21 MPa was designed using Doe Mix designed method. Therefore, 8 mixes were prepared with varying percentage of PEG-400 (0.25%,0.5%,0.75, 1%, 1.25%, 1.5%,1.75%, 2%)by weight of cement) and there compressive strength tested at time interval of 3 days. It was found that the optimum dosage for achieving maximum strength for 21 MPa was 1.5% of PEG-400 (by weight of cement).Compressive strength of concrete using PEG-400 increased by 12.5 % as compared to conventional concrete. the purchasing various items in malls or supermarkets require a trolley. Product procurement represents a complex process. On each occasion customer items has to pull the trolley from rack to rack for collecting and simultaneously customer has to perform estimated expense computation. At the end, customer has to wait in queue for billing and payment. To overcome that we have been developed a smart way for shopping. Each and every product has RFID tag instead of barcode scanner. The smart trolley will consists of a RFID reader, LCD display and ZigBee transmitter. When a person puts any product in the trolley it will scan the product and the cost and the name of the product will be displayed. The sum total cost of all the products will be added to the final bill. This will be stored in the micro controller memory. It will wirelessly transfer the product information of the items placed in the trolley using a ZigBee transmitter to the main computer. So, to avoid waiting in billing queue while constantly thinking about the budget, a new concept has been introduced which is the “SMART-TROLLEYâ€. Read More...

Use of Plastic in Flexible Pavement
-Ritu Raj
The use of plastic and related materials is increasing day by day due to grisly growth in population and over garbage and urbanization and changed life style leads to widespread littering of plastic on the landscape. Disposal of waste plastic is a serious problem globally due to their non-biodegradability and dangerous to human health, since these are not disposed scientifically and thus, create land and water pollution and air pollution after burning. Plastic is a curse to mankind but we used as a boon for mankind by using it as additives in road construction, it will proved to be the best solution over bad road condition. These days the techniques had been developed to use plastic waste for construction of bituminous roads and flexible pavements. In general bitumen is used as binder in road construction. Binding properties of this bitumen can be modified by mixing it with waste small plastic pieces. It can be used for construction purpose. Waste plastic coated the road aggregates and it can increase road strength. This modified bitumen mix and aggregates show better binding property, stability, density and more resistant to water thus increasing durability of roads with increased resistance to wear and tear of road. This research article highlights on the execution of warmth Exchanger with different sorts of inserts. Since device are widely utilized in different industries, hence there's a requirement of utilization of varied sorts of Heat Transfer enhancement Techniques (Active, Passive, combined), which in turns optimizes the performance of obtainable device setup with differing types of inserts. This results in transformation of fluid flow characteristics from Laminar to flow which leads to increase in Heat Transfer characteristics. Finally the conclusion are going to be drawn by summarizing the literature study and suggesting the new design and modifications within the present inserts. The warmth exchangers are wont to enhance heat transfer by providing high heat fluxes or heat transfer coefficient. The second law efficiency increases and therefore the entropy generation decreases by reducing the temperature drive which is caused with the rise in heat transfer coefficient. Read More...

Secure Storage Service on Cloud using Hybrid Cryptography Approach
-Aniruddha Gandhare ; Dhananjay Deshmukh; Rupesh Mali; Sanket Sahane; Abhinay Dhamankar
Security of data has been the biggest concern in the past couple of years. The existing systems are not quite helpful in securing the sensitive data of the users. It has been difficult to secure and manage data that has been uploaded to the cloud. The encryption that is used in existing systems is not enough and can be the biggest flaw in security scams. To overcome this flaw or problem the proposed system will be using a hybrid cryptography approach. The system will be using multiple encryption algorithms to encrypt the data that will be stored on the cloud or uploaded to the cloud. When the user will upload the file to the cloud, the server will get the file and split it into three files. Each file will be then sent to particular encryption algorithms. The three encryption algorithms that the system will be using are AES256, RC4, Blowfish. These 3 algorithms are good and efficient for this type of system. The first file part will be provided as input to the AES256 algorithm, the second file will be provided as input to the RC4 algorithm and the last file will be provided to the blowfish algorithm. All the files will be then uploaded to the different Aws s3 buckets. The keys that will be generated will be embedded into respective images and stored into image storage services. This will provide more security to the user data. During the download process the whole procedure will be reversed. When the user requests for the file, the server will refer to the metadata and request the file from the cloud. The encrypted file will be split into 3 parts and each file will be provided as input to the respective algorithm. The files will be decrypted using the respective algorithm and then merged to a single original file that will be sent to the user as a response. The whole process will take more time so to tackle this, the system will be using node js for performing asynchronous calls and functioning. Read More...
