Blockchain was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto back in 2008 to facilitate Cryptocurrency, which is a backbone of Cryptocurrency. It provides important features like decentralised in nature, transparency and immutability of data. Due to all this characteristic, it encourage us to implement this mechanism to solve real life problem where security, verification & trustworthy environment is necessary and plays very crucial role. One of the key area where we can implement this technique, is education sector where thousands of students get graduated each year and currently there is no any anti-forged mechanism. While hiring new candidates companies have to manually verify their credentials by contacting issuing authority. There are number of cases where students may produce fake degrees. Because it is possible for the candidates to make fake certificates at low cost and process to verify its authenticity is costly as well as very complex, as it need to be manually verified. This problem can be solved by providing digital certificates and storing them on the blockchain where data cannot be forged and verification process is easy. Read More...

India is an agriculture based nation, many crops like rice, wheat, sugarcane etc. are grown here. These crops also produces waste and the disposal of these waste is also a sincere issue now a days, as these waste are responsible for pollution of the environment. Reduction of waste is very important for any nation due to economical, enviromental and technical reasons. Earlier studies show that some of these waste have pozzolonic properties like Sugarcane bagasse ash. Sugarcane bagasse is a fiberous waste product of the sugar refinery industry along with ethanol vapour. Sugarcane bagasse ash has mainly contains silica and aluminum ions. Sugarcane bagasse ash causes serious enviromental pollution, so this waste must be handled on urgent basis. Cement is the bonding agent in concrete. Manufacturing of Ordinary Portland Cement also produces large amount of CO2 which is a major contributor to the greenhouse effect and the global warming of the planet. To reduce the consumption of cement sugarcane bagasse ash is applied in concrete with partial replacement of cement. In this project Sugarcane bagasse ash is partially replaced in the ratio of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% by the weight of cement in concrete. Read More...

The Waste: A Gold Mine
-Mansi Rudrawar
In everyday life, we always prefer to choose right things for longer and throw wrong things away. waste is one of the bad or useless thing for us. Almost everyone wants to live with hygienic manner in society and everyone managing that at self-level. But very few are aware about increasing graph of population. Per capita waste generation is 0.16 to 5.7 kg per person per day, and has an average of 1.1 kg/capita/day. It can be generate waste around 572 million tonnes per year. We cannot invest a huge surface area or maximum land for dumping ground always. hence each person should take an initiative to manage such waste in proper manner. The management of municipal solid waste has become anacute problem due to enhanced economic activities and rapid urbanization. Increased attention given by the government in recent years to handle this problems in safe and hygienic manner our project present an over view of the organic biodegradable the method to compost it and provides recommendation in improvement due to increase in population in India there is a grate change in the life style quantity and quality of living of people composting has been used as means of recycling organic matter back into the soil to improve soil structure and fertility. However in present situation of municipal solid waste management (MSW) in the city which generates 500 tonnes per day. To reuse organic waste by making compost from it, is our aim. Composting aims to stabilization of waste for land filling, volume and mass reduction of solid waste and return of organic substance to nature cycles. Hotels/restaurants generates enormous volumes of biodegradable waste, even though it is their responsibility to treat such waste. The majority of them do not possess required treatment facilities. Composting combined with mechanical separate process may provide areas of recovering lower grade compost, where for economic social or other reasons. Composting of source segregated material is not carried out. Our aim is to lessen the time of compost and made is easily available for the farmers or gardeners to use and it also helps to reduce solid waste. Read More...

Buckling of Laminated Composite Plate
-Bharati Changhode
Laminated composite plates are made up of plates consisting of layers bonded together and made up of materials chemically different from each other but combined macroscopically. These have an application in aircrafts, railway coaches, bridges et cetera because they are easy to handle, have got improved properties and the cost of their fabrication is low. But their failure can lead to catastrophic disasters. And generally, the failure of these structures is due to the combined effect of excessive stresses on it and buckling. Hence the buckling behaviour of these kinds of plates should be analysed properly. Buckling behaviour of laminated composite plates subjected to in plane loads is an important aspect in the preliminary design of aircraft and launch vehicle components. Hence the study is important in order to know the buckling behaviour of such plates. The composite materials are advantageous to be used in comparison to conventional materials due to its excellent mechanical properties such as its durability, low density and corrosion-resistant characteristics. In this study, different boundary conditions, length/thickness ratio, stacking sequence, and ply orientation has been studied. Analysis was carried out with laminated composite rectangular plates. Results show the effect of different boundary conditions, orientation of layers and length/thickness ratio on the buckling load. Read More...

Comparative Analysis of Heighted Structures using Analysis Tool STAAD, SAP2000 & ETABS considering Lateral Loads
-Laxmi Narayan Tiwari ; Jitendra Yadav
Structural analysis comprises the set of physical laws and mathematics required to study and predicts the behaviour of structures. Basic investigation can be seen all the more uniquely as a technique to drive the building configuration process or demonstrate the sufficiency of a structure without a reliance on straightforwardly testing it.
To play out an exact investigation a basic specialist must decide such data as auxiliary burdens, geometry, bolster conditions, and materials properties. The aftereffects of such an investigation regularly incorporate help responses, stresses and removals. This data is then contrasted with criteria that show the states of disappointment. Progressed basic investigation may look at dynamic reaction, security and non-direct conduct. Right now are introducing near examination of four diversely heighted 3 dimensional structure outline considering seismic zone II utilizing three distinctive investigation instruments for example staad.pro, SAP2000 and ETABS. In this paper we concluded that SAP2000 is suitable and providing linear results upto G+10 structure but as we raise the height above G+10 it is observed that ETABS is providing more precise result. Thus it is identified that Etabs is more linear for analysis of tall structures in comparison whereas staad.pro shows values higher for same loading condition in comparison.

Functional Influence of Urban Centres, their Growth and Potentialities: An Approach of Rural Development in Purba Barddhaman District
-Kabirul Islam ; Manabendra Roy
Urban centre act as a developmental hearth of propulsive goods and services, its playing a vital role for the development of the whole region. Each urban centre, being a centre of attraction and repulsion, has its proper fields which emanate economic development; its spread with variable intensities to the whole of the region. But size of an urban fields depends on the degree of development of the town as a central place. Thus a urban centres grows in hierarchical manner with their specific influence zone, which having large number of facilities have relatively large urban field and vice-versa. But in developing countries like India where urbanization process little advanced and towns are widely spaced, subsequently uneven distribution of the facilities varies one town to another as a result sphere of influences of the particular town also varied and this is the result of emergence of vaccum zone. To narrowed down such kinds of problem multipurpose comprehensive planning required which promote or increase functional potentialities of the urban centres and diffusing urban developmental impulsion surrounding rural areas. That ensure a balanced development of all region of the country without leaving any unserved areas (vacuum zone). Read More...

Utilization of Protease Enzymes in Gobar Gas Plant for Increasing the Generation Rate and Percentage
-Vijay Tembhre ; Rajeev Arya; Shravan Vishwakarma; Amit Khare
Protease enzymes are the enzymes that hydrolyse proteins. Each type of protease enzyme breaks specific kind of peptide bonds. These enzymes are of great commercial importance contributing to more than 40% of the world’s commercially produced enzymes. Approximately 50% of the enzymes used in industrial processes are proteolytic enzymes. Different substrates used for the protease enzyme production add to the cost and hence makes the process very costly, thus in this study we will add enzymes which will hydrolise protein at greater rate which can increase the production or produce energy and gas at low waste or dung. For this study we will introduce hydrolytic enzymes in a premixing chamber prepared to mix the dung and waste with the enzymes properly for its dilution. In order to develop a innovation from home itself the most unique and reliable source of energy to run house electronics are solar panels. Thesis solar panels are widely in use now a days and easy to install at roof top. In this study we will work on the utilization of hydrolytic enzymes in gobas gas plant for 3000 sq. ft. residential house which can increase the production of gas at low volume of dung. Which can generate energy for house electronics. Also we will design a ground water storage tank for storing rain harvesting system. Read More...

Use of Steel Fibers in Crack Control and Earthquake Engineering
-Sindhusuta ; Akshay Kamath; Anant Kapil
In any structural element the strength of element is governed basically through how much resistance that structure offers with external applied load. For better structure integrity a structure should perfectly form a matrix which may be able to resist load. A structure follows to break when crack formation takes place. A crack when form in structure it further increases may lead to structural break down. A tensile strength in structure is provided by steel reinforcement, but when there is crack formation it leads to further propagate and result to structural break down. To stop the crack formation, a mechanism that stops to wide crack formation or a mechanism that arrest crack and lead structure not to widen up is possible by steel fiber. A steel fiber is that material which provides crack arrest and is very useful in controlling cracks. It is very useful earthquake resistance material. In this paper we will discuss how steel fiber use in crack control and how it used in earthquake engineering. Steel fiber improves property like tensile strength, toughness, post cracking behavior, impact resistance, and flexural strength. In this paper we discuss the technical matrix behavior that how it work on strength increase. An experimental work is done in which a specimen is without fiber and other one is with fiber and we perform comparative study in between .So that it may use as great earthquake resistance design material to provide lesser loss from earthquake. In this paper, design and analyses of Sandwich structures are investigated for industrial Crane platform. Primary goal is to develop an equivalent cross section of structure material model that is a good substitute for the actual Vf Section core. By replacing the actual Vf Section base structure with the other two cross section model in CATIA, during the FEA in ANSYS, we get a advantages can be obtained with 3D modeling and model modification, solution time and hardware resources. To find out the best equivalent or better model among the approximate analytical models that can be found in the literature, a comparison is made. Both models are analyzed under the same loading and the boundary conditions. In finite element analyses, ANSYS finite element program is used. The results are compared to find out the best performing equivalent model. After three major analyses loops, decision on the equivalent model is made. Read More...

-Rukhsar Parvin Sheikh ; Chetna Gondane; Kajal Puramshettiwar; Abhishek Gharjale; Priyanka Raurle
One of the major problems faced by most of the countries is the issue of water wastage during transmission has been identified as a major culprit; this is one of the motivations for this research, to deploy computing techniques in creating a barrier to wastage in order to not only provide more financial gains and help the environment as well as the water cycle which in turn ensures that we save water for our future. IOT based Water Level Monitoring system is an innovative system which will inform the users about the level of liquid and will prevent it from overflowing. To demonstrate this the system makes use of containers, where the ultrasonic sensors placed over the containers to detect the liquid level and compare it with the container’s depth. The system makes use of AVR family microcontroller, Raspberry Pi, LCD screen, Wi-Fi modem for sending data and a buzzer. A 12 V transformer is used for power supply in this system. The LCD screen is used to display the status of the level of liquid in the containers. The liquid level is highlighted as colored to show the level of liquid present in the container with the help of a web page to the user. The buzzer starts ringing when the set limit of the liquid is crossed. Thus this system helps to prevent the wastage of water by informing about the liquid levels of the containers. Read More...

The analysis of marphometric parameters of Kolamba river basin has been carried out using Arc GIS 10.5. This study involves Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques to evaluate and compare linear, relief and aerial parameters of Kolamba River and has been taken up for prioritization. Linear parameters include stream length (Lu), stream order (u) and stream number (Nu). In aerial parameters area (A) and perimeter (P) are important factors. Compound parameter (Cp) was calculated and prioritization ratings have been carried out. The present study area covers 88.69sq.km. Kolamba river basin has three sub streams which are Nigadi stream, Chikli stream, and Antwadi stream. The Kolamba river is 6th order stream having length of about 1.42 km. It has latitude 17030’N and 17030’N and longitude 7400’E and 74015’E. This area is included in Survey of India (SOI) topographic sheet no. 47 K/3 on the scale 1: 50000. The drainage network is delineated by using False Colour Composite (FCC) and Indian Remote Satellite (IRS-1D) LISS 3 satellite images and Survey of India toposheet. Cartosat DEM (30m) is used for this marphometric analysis. This area receives high rainfall but after mansoon this area suffers from drought condition. This area is high relief mountainous area. Drainage pattern is dendritic in nature. The marphometric parameters like Bifurcating ratio (Rb), Elongation ratio (Re), Drainage Density (Dd), Texture Ratio (Tu), Form Factor (Rf), Stream Frequency (Df) etc. gives brief explanation about study area. Hence marphometric analysis is very helpful to understand the various characteristics of drainage basin. Read More...
