The efficient procurement of material represents a key role in the successful completion of the work. Poor planning and control of material, lack of material when needed, poor identification of material, re-handling and inadequate storage cause losses in labour productivity and overall delays that can indirectly increase total project cost. Effective management of materials can reduce these costs. In construction industry the problem of exceeding the overall estimated budget often arises and it seems quite challenging to be precise all the time. Its need to overcome such problems for that the proper use of inventory control or material planning is needed which is achieved by inventory management. In any construction project the working capital consist of 60 to70% material cost of the total cost of the project. The EOQ analysis can sort out the materials management problem in construction area and reduce the construction cost by the timely order of the construction materials. The main tools for the collection of data include questionnaires, and site visit to identify the annual requirement of the construction materials while various literature studies were also helpful in review of material management in construction projects. Use of Hydrogen as a Fuel
-Mr. Sushant S Nagare
A fuel is any material that can be made to react with other substances so that it releases energy as heat energy or to be used for work. It is solely applied on those materials who can be transferred to an energy source by changing their chemical properties. Material such as coal, gas, or oil that is burned to produce heat or power. The heat energy produced by combustion/burn is used to do mechanical works with the help of various mechanisms and machines (i.e. heat pumps, heat engines). Combustion exerts highly toxic pollutants (i.e. NOx, CO2). Hydrogen and fuel cells are not synonymous; they can be deployed in combination or separately. Fuel cells can operate on natural gas, which avoids combustion and thus 90% of airborne pollutants. Hydrogen can be burnt in engines and boilers with no direct CO2 and near-zero NOX emissions. When used together, hydrogen fuel cells are zero-emission at the point of use, with overall emissions dependent on the fuel production method (as with electricity). Read More...

Live Speaker Identification using MFCC and Delta MFCC
-Sandeep Kumar Jha ; Niraj Kumar Yadav; Bhushan Pal Singh; Rohit Khurmi
Speaker Identification is a subfield of digital signal processing, which verifies the identity of a person using features of their voice samples. Now days it is considered as a popular biometric verification technique in various fields. It finds application in forensic speaker recognition, authentication, surveillance and other related areas. In this paper we presented a system developed for text independent, live identification of speaker. Python 3 programming language is used to develop the system with simple tkinter GUI. Concept of Speaker Identification is inspired from the behavior of human ears. MFCC (Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient) features are considered to be best for mimicking the voice signal processing in human ears. MFCC features represent only the power spectral envelope of single frames, but information of dynamic changes in the frames would be quit useful to include in the feature vector performing delta operation over features gives this information We used MFCC + Delta MFCC features of voice signal. Using the one more delta over the delta features may increase the accuracy but it increases redundancy also so we skipped that. [7]. The whole process of this technique involves basically two modules Feature extraction and feature matching. Feature extraction is a method of extracting a small amount of data/voice signal that can be used to represent each speaker. Feature matching is the process of comparing the voice inputs from a set of known speakers. We used GMM (Gaussian Mixture Model) for training and Loglikelihood function for feature matching. Increasing the Efficiency of Engine Cooling System
-Mr.Hariom Jadhav ; Prof.R.L.Kadu; Mr.Pranit Bangar; Mr.Pankaj Jadhav; Mr.Machhindra Khatake
Engine produces high amount of heat while running. This can raise the engine temperature to very high level and can damage or seize the engine components. Hence for the safety of engine components, it needs to run at much lower temperature, which is called engine working temperature. Radiator plays a vital role in engine cooling system. When increasing the cooling efficiency of radiator causes increase the life time of engine. The efficiency of the radiator can be increased by changing the surface area or dimension of the tube or increasing the number of fins/tubes. The heat transfer rate for the existing radiator could be analyzed. After analyzing the existing radiator, the new radiator has been designed. Two flat plates are placing inside the tube which acts as the nozzle. Hence, nozzle velocity increases and pressure decreases. Pressure is directly proportional to temperature. Thus, the temperature of coolant inside the radiator decreases. As a result efficiency of the proposed radiator is increased 5.37% when comparing with existing method. Read More...

Flight Delay Prediction using Machine Learning
-Shashant Pandit ; Chetan Khobragade; Devyani Shrikundwar; Abhishek Dahikar; Prof.Manisha Pise
Flight delays are quite frequent (19% of the INDIA domestic flights arrive more than 30 minutes late), and are a major source of frustration and cost for the passengers. As we will see, some flights are more frequently delayed than others, and there is an interest in providing the information to travelers. As delays are a stochastic phenomenon, it is interesting to study their entire probability distribution, instead of looking for an average value. This master’s thesis proposes models to estimate delay probability distribution, based on a method called kernel density estimation and its extensions. These are data-driven methods, meaning that it does not try to model the underlying processes, but only consider past observations. Our models of increasing complexity have been implemented, optimized and evaluated on a large scale, using several years of records of INDIA domestic flights delays. During evaluation, we will measure the good performance of some of the models to predict delay distributions, in of the intrinsic difficulty of measuring the goodness of fit between a probability distribution and the corresponding random experiment. Though networks can learn note-by-note transition probabilities and even reproduce phrases, attempts at learning an entire musical form and using that knowledge to guide composition have been unsuccessful. The reason for this failure seems to be that RNNs cannot keep track of temporally distant events that indicate global music structure. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) has succeeded in similar domains where other RNNs have failed, such as timing and counting and CSL learning. In the current study we show that LSTM is also a good mechanism for learning to compose music. We compare this approach to previous attempts, with particular focus on issues of data representation. We present experimental results showing that LSTM successfully learns a form of piano music and is able to compose novel (and we believe pleasing) melodies in that style. Remarkably, once the network has found the relevant structure it does not drift from it: LSTM is able to play the piano with good timing and proper structure as long as one is willing to listen. Mini Conveyor using Geneva Mechanism
-Prerana Singh ; Kamranul Haque; Shivam Gupta; Prabhat Upadhyay
Geneva mechanism is a system to convert continuous circular motion into fixed step circular motion. Fixed step circular motion in other words means a circular motion produced in equal spaces of time and resulting in the same displacement which is a requirement in many automation industries. A conveyer belt is simply a linear belt mostly made up of rubber (of greater stability). It has a basic function of transporting raw material/ material in process of manufacturing. A simple Geneva mechanism consists of a drive wheel and a driven wheel. The drive wheel is a disk with a pin or a shaft near its circumference. The driven wheel consists of several slots. The drive wheel is kept next to the driven wheel in such a way that when the drive wheel is rotated, the pin or shaft fits inside the slot. As it reaches the bottom most point of the slot, the pin exerts a force on the driven wheel. As the driven wheel is pivoted from the center, there will be a generation of a moment. This causes the generation of a torque which rotates the driven wheel. Hence there is a fixed step circular motion. There are several types of Geneva rotator such as external Geneva rotator, internal Geneva rotator and spherical Geneva rotator. Geneva mechanism is one of the most simple and inexpensive mechanisms. The mechanism used for conveyer belt is an external Geneva mechanism. This mechanism gives out production of jerks or instantaneous change in acceleration. The mechanism has various applications in many industries especially the automation/automobile industry. Modern day film projectors use a variation of this mechanism to power a motor which is used for fast forwarding. In short the Geneva mechanism converts continuous rotatory motion of the drive wheel to intermittent rotatory motion of the gear. A cheap, convenient and a simple mechanism with a variety of applications. Read More...

Analysis of Reactive Muffler by Boundary Element Method and Experimental Method
-Tambe Sujata Sushant ; Prof. H.D.Lagdive
The exhaust systems of internal combustion engines generate noise with a wide frequency range, including particularly strong low frequency components. In such applications, silencers can be designed to work at low frequencies by reactive acoustic elements such as Helmholtz or quarter wave resonators, terms used in reactive muffler design. Mufflers play an important role in reducing the exhaust and intake system noise and as a result, a lot of research is done to designing these systems effectively the acoustic performance of reactive muffler is investigated. New regulations and standards for noise reduction and emission compel the automobile industries to make some improvements in design of muffler for attaining desired noise reduction. The work focuses on the design of a new muffler for an agricultural tractor with the aim of containing the noise within the limits given by international standards. Further, the design modifications are to be verified for noise reduction by COMSOL Multi-physics software. Read More...

Fabrication & Testing of Dynamic Vibration Absorber
-Ajay Rasal ; Akash Gaikwad; Rajendra Shendge; Mayur Bhosale ; Prof. Mahesh Bhandare
A dynamic vibration absorber or vibration neutralizer is a spring mass system which reduces or eliminate the vibrations. The dynamic vibration absorber widely used in passive vibration control system in machinery and structure. The dynamic vibration absorber is nothing but coupling of properly designed auxiliary spring mass system to the main system this auxiliary spring mass system is known as vibration absorber. The undamped dynamic vibration absorber is extremely effective at one speed only and thus it is suitable for constant speed machine. With the help of this system we are reduce or eliminate the vibrations of system by attaching spring mass system (absorber) to main system. When an absorbing mass spring system is attached to main mass and the resonance of the absorber is tuned to match that of main mass, the motion of the main mass is reduced to zero at its resonance frequency. Thus, the energy of the main mass is apparently absorbed by the tuned dynamic absorber. We are going to validate it by reducing or eliminating vibrations of main system for single speed. Read More...

-Madhuri Rohidas Shinde ; Pooja.M.Wagh; Dhanashree.R.Chavan; Komal.A.Shelar
The importance of improving the distribution structure of the products has increased worldwide over the past few years. Distribution prices are therefore now disclosed and information about the product is shared with consumers. Distribution channels, however, are complex and supply chain management (SCM) is conducted autonomously in each company. For this reason it has been frequently pointed out that the method of distribution is not straightforward and the margin of distribution high. In this paper we propose a system that ensures drug delivery process transparency by implementing blockchain and monitoring portion of supply chain management systems. This approach enables businesses to monitor their trades by improving SCM transparency, thus preventing businesses from excessive profits. Moreover, by automatically storing delivery data in a blockchain network and handling information more efficiently, organizations can cut management costs. Therefore, businesses can minimize management costs by automatically storing delivery data in a blockchain network and handling information more safely. And our solution to this problem is to monitor the system right from the manufacturer to the customer, minimizing counterfeiting of the drug that the manufacturer produced. This system is mainly useful for the manufacturer as compare to other modules of the system. Read More...

-Unnikrishnen Nampoothiry ; Prof. V.M.Lomte
Every entity in this universe need to have a unique identification characteristic for it to associate with other components, in retrospect to this concept only the concept of Radio classification was carried out. The main prospect of this concept was the development of a unique way to give identification for radio signal using radio fingerprinting and identifying their uniqueness using CNN based and ML based algorithms. The key innovation here is to intentionally introduce controlled imperfections on the transmitter side through software directives, while minimizing the change in bit error rate. Unlike previous work that imposes constant environmental conditions, ORACLE adopts the ‘train once deploy anywhere’ paradigm with near perfect device classification accuracy (Kunal Sankhe, 2019). Review on Intelligent Data Engineering for Migration to NoSql based Secure Environment
-Samruddhi Pund
In the increasing technology of today’s world, the data size is increasing exponentially, with variety of data being generated. Such an exponential growth of massive form of structured and unstructured data is termed as “Big Dataâ€. The efficiency of handling of big data is increased by preferring big databases like Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j and NoSQL. NoSQL provides scalability, high performance, data modeling and distribution, with continuous availability and overcomes the limitations of the relational database. It appears as challenge to many organizations to convert their existing database to NoSQL databases by preserving its complexity, integrity and heterogeneity. Along with big data comes the data cleansing operation. Here we apply an approach, which consist of two modules. The first module uses data transformation to convert relational database to Oracle NoSQL database through model transformation. The second phase consist of data cleansing operation. This proposed approach successfully converts relational database to Oracle NoSQL and quality of data is being improved due to data cleansing. Read More...
