RC Bridge Deck Analysis with varying Span using STAAD Beava

Abstract

In terms of transportation, any type of bridge plays an important role in a country's development. Bridges reduce travel time, congestion, and provide smooth transportation facilities. India is a developing country that requires more bridges in metro areas in order to develop and reduce daily traffic congestion. In this paper Consider an RC deck slab bridge in this paper. Using the software programme Staad Pro v8i, the analysis of a 3-span 2 lane deck bridge is completed by varying the the span/Depth ratio and analysis the critical point on deck slab due to highest class of IRC loading.
