Pure Manganese-Zinc ferrite nano particles and doped with Gadolinium having varying concentrations 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 percentage, were synthesized using Co-precipitation technique. XRD analysis was done to ensure the formation of ferrite particles and incorporation of Gd3+ in as-prepared samples. The lattice parameter, crystallite size, lattice strain and X-ray density has also been calculated using the XRD spectra. The average crystallite size is comes out to be 5nm with cubic structure. The FTIR spectra reveal the formation of various functional groups within the material. SEM images show the surface morphology of as-prepared samples. Vibrational Sample Magnetometer (VSM) result shows a decrease in saturation magnetization on increasing the gadolinium doping concentrations. |
