Abstract |
|
The most important broad categories in the sector are data gathering and protection, networking and cloud computing, and cloud computing security. The vast processing and storage capacity that is made accessible by cloud computing has the potential to provide wireless sensor networks (WSNs) a new lease of life, and it has also inspired the creation of a wide variety of cutting-edge applications that are used in this industry. The limited communication capabilities of WSNs, which are especially important in applications that are sensitive to the passage of time, necessitate the need of data collection to the Cloud in order to prevent data loss. As a direct consequence of this, the growth and use of WSNs in the years to come will be restricted in a number of different ways. This research incorporates a trust-based security component into edge computing, therefore integrating the Internet of Things with this kind of computing. In order to provide a higher level of protection, this thesis offers a combination of trust values on nodes in addition to data that has been encrypted. |
