This paper presents a comprehensive review of the vibration analysis of functionally graded material (FGM) rectangular plate. Functionally Graded Materials (FGMs) are the advanced materials in the field of composites, which can be used for high temperature applications and reducing the thermal stresses. Various methods and theories are used for the design of FGM plates. The main aim of this paper is to serve the interests of researchers and engineers already involved in the analysis and design of FGM plates. |
