Abstract |
|
The lithium-ion batteries are widely used for electric vehicles due to its high energy density and long-life cycle. Since the performance and life of the lithium-ion batteries are very sensitive to temperature, it is important to maintain the proper temperature range. The operating range of an electric vehicle lithium-ion batteries is 25-60 degree Celsius, and this is achieved by a battery thermal management system. Recently battery thermal management system has various types of techniques to cool down the battery and maintain the optimum temperature. And liquid battery thermal management system is one of them and it is widely used now-a-days for maintaining the temperature of the battery. This paper gives a brief review on one of the types of liquid battery thermal management system, indirect liquid battery management system. The modelling and analysis of the indirect liquid battery thermal management system is shown. |
