Abstract |
|
Half of the world's population suffers from dental and oral illnesses, which are quite frequent. We have concentrated on finding the voids in this paper. Dentists use panoramic dental photos as a vital diagnostic tool to spot symptoms as soon as possible and develop successful treatment plans. Teeth in dental photographs have recently been segmented using image processing (deep learning) techniques, assisting dentists in making clinical decisions. The original photos must be stripped of all the extraneous information in order to extract the region of interest (ROI), which should be the maxillofacial region. We produce a huge maxillofacial dataset to address this problem, and we propose the EED-Net encoder-decoder network architecture. There are 2602 panoramic images in this dataset. |
